茨城空港の脇にある、公園と言うには少し寂しい小さな広場です。但し、園内にF-4EJ改とRF-4EJの退役機が展示されていること、茨城空港が自衛隊の共用飛行場にもなっていることから、三脚と望遠レンズを担いで写真撮影に明け暮れる航空ファンが目立ちます。展示されている退役機には乗るどころか触れることも出来ず、その他に園内には人工的に土が盛られた小さな丘がある程度ですので、恐らく子供はすぐに飽きてしまうと思います。勿論目の前が滑走路であるため、ボールなど遠くへ飛ばす系統の遊びは厳禁です。
晴れた日、目的の飛行機に搭乗する前の時間調整に利用するのにピッタリかもしれません。

This is a small square by the side of Ibaraki Airport that is a bit lonely to call a park. However, since there are retired F-4EJ Kai and RF-4EJ aircraft on display in the park, and since Ibaraki Airport is also a shared airfield for the Self-Defense Forces, there are many aviation fans carrying tripods and telephoto lenses and spending their time taking pictures. The retired aircraft on display cannot be touched, let alone ridden in, and there is only a small hill artificially covered with soil in the park, so children will probably get bored quickly. Of course, there is a runway right in front of the park, so playing with balls or other objects that can fly far away is strictly forbidden.
On a sunny day, this might be the perfect place to spend some time before boarding a plane.

履物と郷土玩具に特化した展示を行っているという、とてもユニークな博物館。地域の小ぢんまりとした資料館かと思いきや、展示物の数は非常に膨大で、じっくり鑑賞しながら周回すればゆうに2～3時間はかかる。基本的に展示がメインでより興味を引くような仕掛けは少ない。展示だけでは子供は退屈してしまうかもしれない。
履物にしても伝統玩具にしても、古今東西様々な地域から蒐集されている。このような類の資料館は、多くのところで時系列を辿りながらの展示であるが、ここではどちらかと言えば職業や用途、地域により分類されている。装飾品としての靴だけでなく、農業や狩り等の生活を豊かにするための足の装備品が多く展示され、さらに地域によってその特徴が異なり、とても興味深い。
郷土玩具は、主に近世から地域に根付いたものが多く揃っているが、その大半は人形や面等の、いわゆる子供の成長や家族の健康を祈願するための魔除けの側面が大きい。日本国内だけでなく海外の玩具もいくつかあり、国や地域の特徴が前面に出ていてこれも非常に興味深い。
他にも、プロスポーツ選手愛用のシューズも多数展示されている。日本だけでなく世界の、特に履物に特化した資料館というのも珍しいかもしれない。是非訪れてみてほしいスポットの一つである。

高松空港の2階にあるうどん店です。2階にあるため、窓側のカウンター席に座り空港内を眺めつつ、讃岐うどんを堪能することが出来ます。保安検査場にも近いため、目的のフライトに登場する前の時間調整に利用するのも最適です。うどんだけでなく丼物やおでんなどの料理もあり、メニューは豊富です。
店内は明るく、構造としては空港やデパート内にある典型的なレストランと同じです。ただ、利用当時店内は私一人だけだったからか、店員の接客態度はややぶっきらぼうでぞんざいなところが見られました。
うどんは、コシがあり喉越しも良かったですが、他で食べた讃岐うどんと比較するとやや柔らかめ、といった食感です。

公園の名前の通り、特によく晴れた日には潮風を感じながらのんびりと過ごすには最適の公園です。様々な遊具が揃っているため、子供を連れて遊ぶにはピッタリですが、公園の敷地がそれほど大きくはないこと、時折強い海風が吹くこと等から、ボールやフリスビー等の投げるもので遊ぶのは適しません。住宅街からやや離れているため、自転車や車でこの公園を利用している家族連れ、子供たちを多く見かけます。そのため、充分なスペースの駐車場も備わっています。

千葉駅構内で食事をするところに迷ったら、真っ先にお勧めしたいお店です。お茶漬けや丼物など、米を使用したメニューが多く、木製の調度品を揃えているため、和のテイストを前面に押している典型的な食堂のように感じますが、店内は清潔で余計な装飾も無くシンプル、料理の味は勿論盛り付けも素晴らしく、最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ました。何より、店員のハキハキとした元気な対応でありながらも、適度に距離を保った接客は、最後まで心地よく感じられました。

If you are in doubt about where to eat in Chiba Station, this is the first place I would recommend. 熊本駅の『肥後よかモン市場』内にあるラーメン店。見た目・味付け共に典型的な一般大衆向けで、奇を衒ったところが無い分、充分に満腹感を味わえます。ラーメン単品は勿論ですが、餃子や炒飯等のセットメニューも充実しており、そちらを注文する客を多く見かけます。
比較的、1人もしくは少人数での利用が多い様に見受けられ、昼食の時間帯でも客の回転は早くあまり待たされることは無さそうです。早く食事にありつけたい場合などに勧めたい店の一つです。

This Ramen restaurant is located in the "Higo Yokamon Market" at Kumamoto Station. The appearance and flavor of the dishes are typical for the general public, and the lack of fanciness will make you feel full. Of course, you can order Ramen alone, but there is also a full set menu with Gyoza, fried rice, etc., and you will see many customers ordering those.
The restaurant seems to be frequented by one person or a small group of people, and the turnover of customers seems to be fast even during lunch time, so you won't have to wait long. This is one of the restaurants I would recommend if you want to get a quick meal.

上野駅にも御徒町駅にも近く、上野駅と御徒町駅をつなぐ商店街の只中にあるため、利用者も多く特に午後は常に混雑しています。純喫茶特有の、落ち着いた照明と居心地のいい店内の空間もあってか客の回転も良い方ではありません（特に休日）。周囲の商店街が常時喧噪であふれかえっているため雰囲気そのものとしては気持ちを落ち着けるのにピッタリですが、混雑時は買い物客で溢れかえり、そこかしこでお喋りで花を咲かせているのであまり気を休めることは出来ないかもしれません。
一方で、サービス及び給仕される料理やドリンクの質はとても高いです。このような混雑する環境を熟知しているからか、手間取るような様子も無く、テキパキと注文から会計まで処理します。料理やドリンクの味は勿論、盛り付けも派手過ぎず且つ見た目も楽しめるさりげない盛り付け方に好感を持てます。
素晴らしい喫茶店ではありますが、利用する時間帯をあらかじめ計画した方がよさそうです。

Perhaps because all staff is familiar with such a crowded environment, they handle everything from ordering to paying the bill quickly and without any signs of hassle. The food and drinks taste great, and the presentation is not too fancy, but still visually pleasing.
Although it's a great coffee shop, you might want to plan your time of use in advance.

地元住民に愛されている中華料理店という印象のレストランです。スタッフも地元住民との会話を楽しみながら調理や給仕をすることが多々あり、そのため、地元住民以外の客はやや利用しづらい印象を持つかもしれません。
一方で、注文から給仕までやや時間を要するものの、味はしっかりと仕込んでおり、いずれの料理もボリュームたっぷりで満足感を味わうことが出来ます。
基本的にスタッフの対応も気さくである一方で、衛生的に不安を抱くことも少なからずあります。このレストランが属する商店街には数匹の猫が定着し、近隣住民に愛されており、それはこのレストランのスタッフも例外ではありません。しかし、営業中であるにも関わらずスタッフが猫を撫でたりしていました。勿論猫に触った後は手洗いと消毒をしているとは思いますが、食品を扱うスタッフが営業中に猫に触れるのは適切では無いのではと思いました。

This restaurant gives the impression of being a Chinese restaurant loved by the local residents. The staff often cooks and serves while enjoying conversations with the locals, which may make non-local customers feel somewhat uncomfortable to use the restaurant.
On the other hand, although it takes a little time from ordering to serving, the taste is well-prepared and all the dishes are hearty and satisfying.
While the staff is basically friendly and helpful, there are a few hygiene concerns. Several cats have taken root in the shopping area where this restaurant belongs and are loved by the neighbors, and the same goes for the staff of this restaurant. However, the staff was petting the cats even though the restaurant was open for business. Of course they wash and disinfect their hands after touching the cats, but I thought it was inappropriate for staff who handle food to touch the cats during business hours.

外観・内装共にいわゆる普通の居酒屋で、大人数でも1人などの少人数でも気軽に利用できます。スタッフも活気良くハキハキとしていますが、決して馴れ馴れしすぎず適度な距離感をもって接客しているのも好印象でした。
小皿料理が充実しているように見受けられました。それが様々な人数の客にも対応できる特徴の一つだと思います。勿論料理によって量は様々であるため、注文の際にどれだけの量なのかを聞くといいかもしれません。盛り付けに使用される食器はシンプルで見た目的に安価なものと見受けられましたが、その分料理の値段は安めに抑えられていると思いますので、気にしなければどうということはありません。
徳島駅周辺での（特に夜間の）飲食に迷った際は、お勧めできるお店だと思います。

Of course, the amount of food varies from dish to dish, so you might want to ask how much when you order. The plates used for serving the food were simple and inexpensive to look at, but the price of the dishes itself was kept low, so if you don't mind, it's not a big deal.
If you are in doubt about where to eat or drink around Tokushima Station (especially at night), I would recommend this restaurant.

明確な区分けがあるわけではありませんが、伊豆急行の鉄橋を境に河口側と上流側のスポットに分かれています。河口側で咲いている花はほぼ河津桜のみで、カフェなどの店も少なく、河川敷に降りることは出来ません。一方上流側は、河津桜だけでなく菜の花も咲き誇り、出店も多く大変混雑します。河津川の水量が少ない日は、河川敷に降りることも出来ます。
小径がピンク色のトンネルに覆われるのは大変美しいのですが、混雑するだけでなく、ルールを守らない人の多さに辟易するかもしれません。特に休日は無許可の路上駐車が目立ち、近隣住民の迷惑の元となっています。河津桜と特別な車両の列車の写真を撮るために、狭い小径に堂々と三脚を立てて行く手を阻む人もいます。
休日に河津桜を観賞することはお勧めしません。マナーを守らない人の多さに恐らくガッカリするでしょう。

At the mouth of the river, almost only flowers in bloom are the Kawazu cherry trees, and there are few cafes and other stores, and you cannot go down to the riverbed. On the other hand, upstream side of the river, not only Kawazu cherry blossoms but also rape blossoms are in full bloom, and there are many stalls and it gets very crowded. On days when the Kawazu River is low in water, it is possible to go down to the riverbed.
It is very beautiful to see the pathway covered with pink tunnels, but you may get fed up with not only the crowd but also the number of people who do not follow the rules. Especially on weekends and holidays, unauthorized street parking is noticeable and becomes a source of inconvenience to the neighbors. Some people set up tripods in narrow lanes and block the way to take pictures of the Kawazu cherry blossoms and special train cars.
It's not recommended to view the Kawazu cherry blossoms on holidays. You will probably be disappointed by the number of people who do not have good manners.

一見すると敷居の高そうなレストランのように見受けられますが、至ってカジュアル。特にドレスコードも無く気軽に利用することが出来ます。最寄りの駅は五井駅ですが、それでも徒歩で10分以上かかります。そのためほぼ車で来店する客が多いです。一方で駐車場の数は少なく、10台程度であることに注意が必要です。
ランチタイムは非常に混雑しますが、ディナータイムはそれ程混雑しません。但しディナータイムは友人やカップル等の複数人でお喋りをしながら食事を楽しむ客が多いため、客の回転はそれ程よくはありません。
いずれの料理も丁寧に拵えられていて、見た目も味付けもよく最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ました。厨房からシェフの元気な声がホールに響き、レストランとしての活気の良さが伺えます。スタッフの接客態度も決して悪くはありませんでしたが、客の食べるペース関係なく次から次へと料理が運ばれるため、少し慌ただしさを感じるかもしれません。また基本的に子供向けの料理は無く、デザートもありません。子供は利用できないわけではありませんが、子供にとっては退屈に感じる可能性があります。

Basically, there are no dishes for children, and no desserts either. This does not mean that children are not allowed to use the restaurant, but they may find it boring.

河津駅周辺にはいくつか飲食店がありますが、駅に最も近いレストランの一つであるからか、他のレストランと比較しても人気があり、連日のように混雑します。特に休日では開店後10分で待ちの行列が出来る程です。
席数は30席程度。全て3～4人向けのテーブル構成です。一方スタッフの数は足りていないように感じ、また注文・給仕・会計の処理に慣れていないスタッフも散見されます（丁寧な接客ではありますが）。そのため、混雑時には注文や給仕に手間取り、待たされることがあることに注意が必要です。
一方、料理はしっかりと拵えられており、新鮮な魚介類を使っているため歯ごたえも良く、ご飯との相性も抜群で最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ました。海外からの観光客向けに、メニューに英語が併記されています。

There are several restaurants around Kawazu Station, but perhaps because it is one of the closest restaurants to the station, it is more popular than the others and is crowded every day. Especially on weekends and holidays, there is a line of people waiting 10 minutes after the restaurant opens.
There are about 30 seats. All the tables are designed for 3-4 people. On the other hand, the staff seems to be insufficient in number, and some of them are not used to handling orders, serving, and accounting (although they are polite). Therefore, it is important to note that when the restaurant is crowded, you may have to wait for a long time for ordering and serving.
However, the dishes are well prepared, and the fresh seafood give it a nice crunch that be well with the rice, making it delicious all the way through. The menu is written in English for tourists from overseas.

明らかに名前負けしているカレー店。『とんこつ』や『あごだし』という、福岡での料理でよく見かける出汁をカレーに加えていますが、カレールーとうまく噛み合っておらず、何とも中途半端な味に仕上がっているように感じました。また量に対し価格も高め。
福岡空港のフードコートには、他にも様々なレストランがありますが、真っ先にお勧めできるレストランではありません。

The name "Hakata Curry Laboratory" is intriguing, but the dishes served does not quite live up to the name.
The curry is made with Tonkotsu (pork bone) and Agodashi (flying fish bone) broths, which are common in Fukuoka cuisine, but they don't mesh well with the curry roux, giving it a half-hearted taste. Also, the price was high for the quantity.
The food court in Fukuoka Airport has a variety of other restaurants, but it is not the first ones I would recommend.

古代の日本をテーマにした広大な公園、という印象が強いかもしれません。勿論、発掘された、あるいは発掘調査中の遺構を間近に観察することは出来ますが、公園の至る所にそのような遺構が点在すると考えると、ガッカリするかもしれません。学術的なスポットと言うより、体験型学習的なスポットとして捉えた方がいいかと思います。そのため、親子で利用するのが一番楽しめると思います。周囲に遺構が無いだだっ広い芝生の広場もあり、ボール遊び等に興じる子供も多く見られます（勿論、火器の使用は厳禁です）。
体験型学習的なスポットよろしく、復元された住居に入って、当時の生活ぶりを体感することが出来ます。その他、常時ではありませんが、古代の服を作ったり石包丁等の生活雑貨を作ることもできます（全て有料で参加可能な人数に制限があります）。ほとんどの展示に英語での説明が併記されているため、海外からの観光客でも充分に楽しむことが出来ます。
園内は無料で利用可能なシャトルバスが運行されているため、お年寄りや障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用できます。一方、電車で訪れる場合、神埼駅及び吉野ケ里公園駅が最寄り駅ですが、両駅からやや距離があります。駐車場は広く充分な数の車を停めることが出来るため、車で訪れた方がよさそうです。

You may have a strong impression that this is a vast park with the theme of ancient Japan. Of course, you can observe up close the remains that have been excavated or are under excavation, but you may be disappointed to think that there are numerous such remains scattered throughout the park.

As this is a hands-on learning spot, you can enter a restored ancient dwelling and experience how people lived in those days. You can also make ancient clothes and stone knives, though not always (There is a fee for all activities, and the number of visitors is limited). Most of the exhibits are explained in English, so even tourists from overseas can enjoy them.
Free shuttle buses service is available within the park, making it easy for the elderly and disabled to use. On the other hand, if you are visiting by train, the nearest stations are Kanzaki Station and Yoshinogari Koen Station, both of which are some distance away. The parking lot is large enough to accommodate a large number of cars, so it is better to visit by car.

鹿児島中央駅から徒歩1分程度で利用可能なビジネスホテルです。他にあるビジネスホテルとほとんど変わりはなく、部屋やバスルームは基本的に清潔に保たれていますが、特にバスルームは狭く、一部で設備が古い箇所が見受けられます。
1階のロビーでは、宿泊プランにより朝食が食べられます。テーブル及び椅子は充分な数があるように見えますが、部屋数が多いため、特に休日などの満室に近い状態の時は、混雑して朝食が食べられない可能性があります。とは言え、周囲には早朝より開店しているカフェやコンビニ等もあるため、食べ物自体には特に困ることはないでしょう。
鹿児島観光の拠点として充分に利用できると思います。

This hotel is only a minute walk from Kagoshima Chuo Station. It is almost the same as other business hotels, and the rooms and bathrooms are basically clean, but the bathrooms are especially small, and some of the facilities are outdated.
You can be served breakfast in the lobby on the first floor, depending on your accommodation plan. There seems to be enough tables and chairs, but due to the large number of rooms, especially on holidays when the rooms are almost full, it may be too crowded to eat breakfast. However, there are cafes and convenience stores around the hotel that open early in the morning, so you won't have any trouble finding food.
The hotel can be used as a good base for sightseeing in Kagoshima.

来宮神社の境内にあるカフェです。店名が全て漢字で表記されていることから純和風の喫茶店を想像されると思いますが、実際は街中のオシャレなカフェのような佇まいです。ドリンクなどの商品名や見た目がカラフルでオシャレですが、味は特筆すべきところはなく極めて普通です。
持ち帰りだけでなくイートインも可能ですが、座席は全て店外の完全オープンカフェ形式。そのため風が涼しくよく晴れた日には絶好の利用日和ですが、雨天での利用はほぼお勧めできません。
来宮神社の参拝時、あるいは熱海散策の休憩時に利用するといいでしょう。

This cafe is located in the precincts of Kinomiya Shrine. The name of the cafe is written entirely in Kanji, which may lead you to imagine a purely Japanese-style cafe, but in fact it looks like a fashionable cafe in town. The names and appearance of the drinks and other products are colorful and fashionable, but the taste is not worthy of special mention and is quite ordinary.
You can eat in as well as take out, but all seating is outside in a completely open cafe style. This makes it a perfect place to visit on a sunny day with a cool breeze, but it is not recommended to visit in the rain.
It is best to use it when visiting the Kinomiya Shrine or taking a break from walking around Atami.

熱海の観光名所の1つにもなっている神社です。樹齢2000年以上と推定されている大きな楠が特徴です。来宮駅が最寄り駅ですが、熱海駅から徒歩で20分程度であること、熱海駅で停車する電車の本数が比較的多いことから、熱海駅からの散策で訪れる人も多くいます。神社周辺にはいくつか駐車場がありますが、休日は必ずと言っていいほど満車になること、道幅が狭いところがいくつかあるため、車で来るのは注意が必要です。
有名な神社ですが境内はそれほど広くなく、また起伏も多くはないため、お年寄りや身体の不自由な方でも参拝にはそれ程苦には感じないと思います。楠の周囲も歩道が整備されており、直接触れることは出来ませんがその雄大な姿を間近で観察することが出来ます。新幹線が間近を通っているため、その音にやや興を削がれるかもしれませんが、熱海の気軽な散策スポットの一つとして挙げられると思います。境内にはカフェが設置されているので、一休み目的の利用にピッタリです。

The shrine is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Atami. It features large camphor trees which is estimated to be over 2000 years old. Although Kinomiya Station is the nearest station, many people visit the shrine on a walk from Atami Station, as it is only a 20-minute walk from the station and there are a relatively large number of trains stopping at Atami Station.
There are several car parks around the shrine, but be aware that they are always full, especially on holidays, and that the roads are narrow in some places.
Although it is a famous shrine, the precinct is not very large and there are not many ups and downs, so the elderly and disabled will not find it too difficult to visit. There is a footpath around the camphor tree, which allows visitors to get a closer look at its majestic form, although they cannot touch it directly.
The sound of the Shinkansen train passing close by may be somewhat disconcerting, but it is one of the best places for a casual stroll in Atami. There is a cafe in the precinct, which is perfect for a break.

正にコーヒーの味とアロマを楽しむための喫茶店と言えるお店です。コーヒー以外にもドリンクの種類はあり、またクッキーなどのフードもありますが、その種類は少なく、メニューも大半がコーヒーで占められています。
店内はそれほど広くはなく、席も1人もしくは2人程度の少人数用の構成で、席の総数も20席もありません。コーヒーを店内で飲むより、テイクアウトの方が価格が安く設定されているため、来店する客の多くがテイクアウトで注文します。そのため店内の座席を見るとそれほど混雑していない印象です。ローストされたコーヒー豆を購入することも可能です。
店内を利用する場合は、出来れば1人で、コーヒーの味とアロマをじっくりと堪能しながらひと時を過ごすといいかもしれません。

This is a cafe for enjoying the taste and aroma of coffee. There are other types of drinks available, as well as food such as cookies, but the variety is limited and the menu is mostly dominated by coffee.
The cafe is not very spacious and all seats are for only one or two people, and there are less than 20 seats in total. The coffee is cheaper to take away than to drink in the shop, so most customers come here to order a takeaway. This is why the seating in the cafe seems to be not very crowded. It is also possible to buy roasted coffee beans.
If possible, visit the cafe alone. Take time to enjoy the taste and aroma of the coffee.

箱根湯寮の施設内にある、山奥の古民家を彷彿させる内装が特徴の和食レストランです。囲炉裏が備わっているテーブル席と備わっていないテーブル席があり、全てのテーブル席で一品料理やセットメニューを堪能することが出来ますが、囲炉裏が備わっている席では、それらに加えて、魚の塩焼きや湯葉の炙り焼き等を堪能することが出来ます。
箱根湯寮の温泉を満喫した人の多くが利用しているレストランであるため、特に休日は混雑します。席数が多い一方でスタッフの数は混雑時には充分ではないように見受けられるため、時間帯によってはサービスの質がよくないと感じるかもしれません。勿論、空いている時間帯でのサービスの品質には何の問題もありません。
注文から給仕までやや時間がかかることがありますが、いずれの料理もしっかりと拵えられているため、最後まで美味しく食べることが出来ると思います。箱根湯寮に訪れた際は利用したくなるレストランです。

This Japanese restaurant is located in the Hakone-Yuryo and has a décor reminiscent of an old house deep in the mountains. There are two types of tables, one with a sunken hearth and the other without, and at all tables you can enjoy a la carte dishes and set menus, but at the table with the sunken hearth you can also enjoy grilled fish and seared yuba.
As the restaurant is frequented by many people who have enjoyed the hot springs at Hakone-Yuryo, it can be crowded, especially on holidays. Although there is a lot of seating, the number of staff does not seem to be sufficient, so you may find that the quality of service is not as good as it could be at certain times of the day. Of course, there is nothing wrong with the quality of their service during the free time.
It can take a while from ordering to serving, but all the food is well prepared and you'll enjoy it all the way through. This is a restaurant you will want to use when visiting Hakone-Yuryo.

佐川美術館の中庭を眺めながら、観覧の疲れを癒しつつゆっくりとひと時を寛ぐのに最適なカフェです。特に天気のいい日は、中庭の水面に日の光が揺らめくので、美しい光景を楽しむことが出来ます。
給仕される料理は、コーヒー等のドリンクの他、ケーキなどの軽食があります。味や見た目に関しては、典型的なカフェのそれであるため、特筆すべき事項はありません。スタッフもそつのないサービスを提供します。なお、佐川美術館の館内にあるため、カフェの利用のみ入館は出来ないようです。

This cafe is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day at the Sagawa Art Museum, looking out over the courtyard. Especially on a fine day, you can enjoy the beautiful sight of the sunlight shimmering on the water's surface of the courtyard.
The dishes served includes coffee and other drinks, as well as cakes and other snacks. As for the taste and appearance of the food, there is nothing to write home about as it is typical of a cafe. The staff also provides excellent service. Please note that the cafe is located inside the Sagawa Art Museum, so you cannot enter the museum just to use the cafe.
