程よく甘い香りが漂う、テイクアウト専用のパン屋です。浅草橋駅を降りてすぐのところにあり、シックで控えめな外装ですが、メロンパンの甘い香りは道行く人を釘付けにしてしまう程です。プレーンやチョコレート味等のメロンパンが主体ですが、他にもクロワッサンやアップルパイも販売しています。
一つ一つにボリュームがあり、1つ食べるだけでも満足感を得られます。外側はサクサクした食感ですが、パンの中はふっくらとしています。しかも、購入後少し時間が経過して冷めてしまっても、パンの食感は勿論、香りもほとんど衰えず楽しむことが出来るのがこのパンの醍醐味の一つではないかと思います。
付近の散策をしながら食べ歩くのにピッタリだと思います。

Each one is very generous, and you'll feel satisfied even if you only eat one. The outside is crispy, but the inside of the bread is fluffy. One of the best things about this bread is that even after it has cooled down a bit, the texture and aroma of the bread remains almost unchanged.
I think this is a perfect place to eat while strolling around the area.

スタッフの接客は非常に丁寧ですが、決して格式張っておらず、きさくに話しかけることが出来ます。その日のお勧めは勿論、給仕される料理にどのような具材が使われているか、アレルギーの有無などもきちんと確認・説明してくれ、とても安心します。
給仕される料理はいずれも文句のつけようがありません。丁寧に下拵えされており、食感も抜群です。特に鰻料理はとても柔らかくしっかりと味が染み込んでおり、最後まで美味しくいただくことができました。
勿論、値段は張りますが、名古屋での特別な食事を楽しむレストランの一つとしてお勧めです。

とは言え、この店ならではの特徴があるのか、というと、如何にもそれらしい、というものはない、至って普通のラーメン屋です。接客態度も可も無く不可も無く。古河駅のビル内にあるラーメン店ということもありアクセスは良好ですが、足繁く通うと言えるような店ではありません。

友人やカップルで利用する客が多く、食事をしながら会話を楽しんでいるため、静かにひと時を過ごすための利用としてはあまり向いていないかもしれません。

『富山ブラック』と呼ばれる黒醤油をベースとした非常に濃い色のスープが特徴のラーメン店です。京都拉麺小路にあるラーメン店の一つで、得てしてラーメン店が集う場所は行列が出来る超人気店と比較的空いている店の格差が凄く、この店はどちらかと言えば比較的空いており、並んだとしてもものの10分程度で入店できます。
比較的空いているとはいえ決して給仕される料理が悪いわけではありません。色の濃いスープが麺に程よく絡み、濃厚な味わいを楽しむことが出来ますが、いつまでも後味に残るような味の強さではありません。トッピングの九条ネギもシャキシャキ噛み応えがあり美味しかったのですが、こちらは具材としては麺とスープと完全に独立してしまった感じがして、料理との一体感があまり楽しめませんでした。
スタッフの対応は特にいい点も悪い点も無い、極めて普通の対応でした。

Even though the restaurant is relatively empty, it does not mean that the food served is bad.
The dark-colored soup is well mixed with the noodles and has a rich flavor, but it is not so strong that it leaves an aftertaste forever. The topping of kujo green onions was also tasty and crunchy, but as an ingredient, it seemed to have become completely independent from the noodles and soup, and I did not enjoy the sense of unity with the dish.
The staff was extremely ordinary, with nothing particularly good or bad to say about them.

石岡市の住宅街に囲まれながら、ひっそりと佇む神社。創建は8世紀半ばとされ、現在の場所に移されたのは10世紀半ばとされている。茨城県のかつての名前であった常陸国の総社であり、また地図で見てもまさに茨城県の丁度中央に位置する神社であるが、現在では境内の広さも神社としての雰囲気も、普通の神社と変わりない。特に肩肘張らずリラックスしながら参拝することが出来る。但し散策する場としては少し物足りないかもしれない。
境内には大楠が神木として植えられているが、1964年の火災の延焼により半分以上が焼かれてしまった。しかし完全に死滅することなく今も尚神木としてあり続けている。大木の生命力の強さを目の当たりにすることができる。

年老いたご婦人が1人で切り盛りしているように見受けられる、昭和のレトロな雰囲気を醸し出すカフェです。1階と2階に客席がありますが、1階は誰も利用していないにも関わらず2階の席を通されました。昇降は階段のみのため、障碍を持つ方、大きな荷物を持つ方は1階の席の利用となると思います。
注文受付・調理・給仕・会計を全て1人で実施し、厨房は1階にあります。注文するための呼び鈴は無いため、わざわざ1階に行って注文するか、他の方の注文あるいは給仕のついでに注文するような形式になるため、あまり効率的ではありません。しかも昼食時等の人が多い時間帯には、激務状態になるからか接客態度はあまりよくないように見受けられます。人が少なくなり余裕が生まれると気さくに話してくださるだけに残念です。
料理の質・量ともに特筆すべきところは無く、可も無く不可も無くです。近隣に日曜休日開いている飲食店が少ないためこのカフェの利用する人が多くなりますが、それ程お勧めできるお店でもありません。

It's a pity, because when the number of people decreases and there is more room to talk, the staff is very friendly.
The quality and quantity of the food is nothing to write home about. There are not many restaurants open on Sundays and holidays in the neighborhood, so many people use this café, but I cannot recommend it highly enough.

茨城空港から500m程西に位置する地域密着型の商業施設です。『空のえき』と冠していますが実際のところは『道の駅』で、空港の利用者に関わらず多くの利用者が集い、特にバイクのツーリング客が多く目立ちます。
多くの店が小美玉市の食材もしくは食材を活用した料理を給仕しており、そのほとんどが野菜や乳製品の即売所もしくはテイクアウト専用です（イートインが可能な店もありますが、数は少ないです）。休日の天候の良い日にはライブやショー等のイベントも開催されています。遊具が設置されているスペースもあり、子供の遊び場としても最適です。
茨城空港から徒歩で行ける距離でもあるため、搭乗する目的の飛行機の時間調整目的で利用するのもいいかもしれません。

This is a community-based commercial facility located about 500 meters west of Ibaraki Airport. Although it is called "Sora no Eki" (Sky Station), it is actually a "Michi no Eki" (Roadside Station), and attracts many visitors regardless of whether they are using the airport or not, especially touring motorcyclists.
Most of the stores sell vegetables and dairy products, or are dedicated to take-out (there are a few stores where you can eat in, but not many). On weekends and holidays, weather permitting, there are also events such as live music and shows. There is also a space with playground equipment, making it a great playground for children.
It's also within walking distance from Ibaraki Airport, so you may want to use it for time adjustment purposes for your intended flight.

スープは醤油・塩をベースに、あっさりめ・こってりめを選ぶことが出来ます。値段は標準的ですが給仕されるラーメンの見た目の量は少なめに感じるかもしれません。しかし、器にたっぷりと麺と、鶏と豚のチャーシューが盛り付けられています。モチモチした食感のストレートな麺にしっかりとスープが絡み、後味もくどくなく、最後まで美味しくいただけて満足でした。
入り口脇の券売機で食券を購入します。券売機で追加の麺を購入することが出来ますが、給仕されたラーメンを食べた後でも追加の麺を購入することが出来ます。

ご夫婦と思われる2人で切り盛りしていますが、とても丁寧でどの客にも適度な距離感で接客されていました。松永町での食事するところを探す際には、まず選んで間違いないお店だと思います。

The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, and they were very courteous and treated every customer with a good sense of distance. If you are looking for a place to eat in Matsunaga Town, this is a good choice.

スポーツと遊びの屋外型総合アミューズメントパーク、と言える広大な公園です。陸上競技場、野球場、テニスコートといった、主に屋外の競技施設が多数ありますが、勿論遊具のある広場やドッグラン、バーベキュー等の遊びの施設も備わっています。敷地が広大であるため、競技施設以外でもキャッチボールやフリスビーで遊んでいる家族や友人を多く見かけますが、彩湖の周囲は腰までの高さの転落防止用の柵のみであるため、遠くに投げすぎると湖に落ちて回収不可能になってしまうので注意が必要です。
広大な敷地の公園である一方で、お手洗い・休憩するための東屋の数はあまり多くないように見受けられます。競技施設の内部を除けば園内は比較的樹木が多いので、休憩の際は木陰を上手に利用している人が多く見かけられます。お手洗いは公園に到着した際に地図等であらかじめ確認しておいた方がよさそうです。
最寄り駅の西浦和駅からでも徒歩20分近く要するため、この公園の利用者はほぼ車か自転車です（バスの運行もありますが本数は多くありません）。

While the park has a vast area, there do not seem to be many pavilions for resting and using the restrooms. Except for the interior of the sports facilities, the park is relatively tree-filled, so many people take advantage of the shade when taking a break. It would be a good idea to check the restrooms on the map when you arrive at the park.
It takes almost 20 minutes to walk from the nearest station, Nishiurawa Station, so most of the people who use this park do so by car or bicycle (there is also a bus service, but it is not very frequent).

この池は1時間も経たずに周遊することが出来るくらいの大きさです。池の周囲に整備された小径から中に入ることは出来ず、勿論池の水に触れることは厳禁です。この池にまつわる小さな祠が池の周囲にいくつかある程度で、その他の施設は皆無です（飲食店はありません）。駐車場はありますが整備されていません。お手洗いも駐車場に簡易式のものが1つある程度です（しかも汚れていることが多々あるため、利用はお勧めできません）。

夜になるとキャッチセールスを多く見かけます。怪しい店には近づかないようにしましょう。

一方、店内の構造はよく分からないところがいくつかあり、少なくとも初めて、あるいは訪れた回数が少ない人にとっては戸惑いやすいでしょう。入口入ってすぐ右に券売機がありますが、券売機より前に、席に置かれているメニューのようなものが置かれているため、多くの場合で着席して注文すると勘違いするでしょう。後で店員によってチケットの購入を促されますが、あまりにぶっきらぼうな対応なのが残念でした。券売機のボタンの数も非常に多く、自分にとって注文したい料理は押したらいいか分からないことも多く、他の客を苛立たせる原因にもなっています。初めて利用する方は混雑する昼食時の利用はお勧めできません。さらに店内に掲示されている情報が多すぎて、何を求めている時にどれを見ればいいのか分からない、という状況も。
遠回しに『一見さんお断り』と言われているような感じがしました。料理はいずれも美味しいのに、そこは残念なところです。

You are later prompted to buy a ticket by the waitress, but I was disappointed that the response was so blunt. The number of buttons on the ticket machine is also very large, and it is often difficult to know which button to press for the dish you want to order, and may be causing irritation to other customers. If you are a first time customer, I would not recommend using this restaurant during lunch time when it is crowded. Furthermore, there will be so much information posted in the restaurant that you will not know which one to look at when you are looking for what you want.
I felt as if I was being told in a roundabout way, "No visitors at first sight". It's a shame because the food is all delicious.

一方、接客及び給仕される料理は全くの文句はありません。比較的リーズナブルな値段でボリュームたっぷりのトンカツを食べることが出来、とても満足でした。金網ではなく皿の上に直にトンカツを盛り付けるスタイルですが、食事中、特にトンカツの底面が水分でベチョベチョになるようなことはありませんでした（勿論より時間が経過すればそうなる可能性はありますが）。
平日と休日で一部のメニューが異なること、カレーは人気がありすぐに売り切れてしまうことに注意が必要です。

The pork cutlet is served directly on the plate, not on a wire mesh, but the bottom of the pork cutlet did not get soggy during the meal (although of course it could have if more time had passed).
Note that some menu items are different on weekdays and holidays, and that curry is very popular and sells out quickly.

沖縄の居酒屋を彷彿させる内装のレストランです。トンカツを始めとする豚肉を使用した料理が多いですが、勿論それ以外の食材を活用した料理も多く、居酒屋としても活用できます。トンカツやベーコンなどの肉料理はとても柔らかく拵えられており、とても美味しくいただきましたが、一方でキャベツの千切りが荒すぎて歯が丈夫な人でも咀嚼しづらいと思いました。
レストランは2階にありますが、昇降は階段のみ。そのため障碍を持つ方、大きな荷物を持つ方の利用はあまりお勧めできません（充分な広さの駐車場があるため、大きな荷物は車内に置いて利用した方がいいです）。
スタッフの接客態度はあまりいいとは言えませんでした。レストランのフロアに入ると自動的にアラームが鳴るのですが、そのアラームが鳴ってもスタッフは一向に来ず、数分間待ちぼうけを食らわされました。その後の注文・給仕・会計は特に可もなく不可もなくなだけに、残念な部分が見られました。

The interior of this restaurant is reminiscent of an Okinawan izakaya. Many of the dishes are made with pork, such as tonkatsu, but of course there are many other ingredients that can also be used as izakaya. The pork cutlets, bacon, and other meat dishes were very tender and tasty, but the shredded cabbage was too rough for even those with strong teeth to chew.
The restaurant is located on the second floor, and the only way up and down is by stairs, so it is not recommended for people with disabilities or large luggage (it is better to leave large luggage in the car, as there is ample parking space).
The attitude of the staff was not very good. When I entered the restaurant floor, an alarm would go off to let us know that we had a visitor, but the staff never showed up even after the alarm went off, and we were forced to wait for several minutes. After that, ordering, serving, and paying the bill were not particularly good or bad, so I was disappointed.

広島の平和記念資料館や長崎の原爆資料館と同じく、訪れてほしいスポットの一つ。いずれも大量破壊兵器による惨状とそれらの撤廃を訴えることは共通しているが、この第五福竜丸展示館の方が『今も尚リアルに私たちの身近な生活に突き付けている問題』として捉えることが出来る。
当時第五福竜丸は、1954年3月1日にビキニ環礁での水爆実験の爆心地から160km程離れていたが、広島・長崎に落とされた原爆から比べ物にならない程規模も範囲も大きく、被爆は免れなかった。乗組員が受けた強い放射線、発露する病気。そしてこの被爆の代償は第五福竜丸の乗組員だけでなくマーシャル諸島に生きる人たちにも及ぶ。
しかしそれ以上に目を引いた展示が、被災したにも関わらず容赦なく投げつけられる差別や中傷が挙げられる。また海中での水爆実験であるがゆえに魚介類への影響も深刻で、被爆の有無など疑心暗鬼になる『汚染マグロ』や『原爆マグロ』といった風評被害もある。この事件から50年以上も経過しているのに、福島第一原発事故ではその経験が全く活かされていない事に、遣る瀬無さを感じた。
無料で利用できる資料館で、英語の説明も併記されている。資料館はそれほど大きくなく、1時間程度で周回できる。

It is one of the places you should visit, just like the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima and the Atomic Bomb Museum in Nagasaki. Both of them share the same message of the devastation caused by weapons of mass destruction and their elimination, but the Daigo Fukuryu Maru Exhibition Hall can be seen as "a problem that still confronts us in our daily lives in a very real way".
At the time, the Daigo Fukuryu Maru was about 160km away from the hypocenter of the hydrogen bomb test at Bikini Atoll on March 1, 1954, but it was incomparably larger in scale and scope than the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, so it was not spared from exposure. The crew was exposed to intense radiation and suffered from various diseases. The effects of the bombing were not only felt by the crew of the Daigo Fukuryu Maru, but also by the people living in the Marshall Islands.
However, the exhibit that caught my attention more than that was the discrimination and slander that was mercilessly thrown at us despite the fact that we were victims of the disaster. In addition, since the hydrogen bomb test was conducted under the sea, the effects on seafood are also serious, and there are rumors such as "contaminated tuna" and "A-bombed tuna" that cause people to doubt whether or not they were exposed to the bomb. More than 50 years have passed since this incident, and I felt helpless that the experience has not been utilized at all in the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident.
The museum is free of charge and has English explanations as well. The museum is not very large and can be toured in about an hour.

辻堂駅から徒歩で約20分のところにあるため、専ら近隣の住民か車で運転してきた客の利用が多いです。駐車場も広めに設えてありますが、立地の関係上、近隣住民以外が利用する機会は少ないかもしれません。その分、どの時間帯も比較的空いています（休日の昼食時間帯であれば流石に混雑しますが、13時を過ぎれば比較的容易に席を確保することが出来ます）。
店内は日本の古民家を模したような内装で、席数も豊富にあります。スタッフも元気よくハキハキとした対応で、特に不愉快に思うことはありませんでした。
ほぼ全ての料理が味噌をベースにしたもので、日本各地からその地方で生成された味噌やその地方ならではの具材を取り寄せて作られています。月ごとに異なる地域の味噌を取り寄せて作られた限定料理もあります。何度通っても楽しめるレストランです。

It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Tsujido Station, so it is mostly used by residents of the neighborhood or customers who have driven there. There is a large parking lot, but due to its location, it may not be used by people outside the neighborhood. Because of this, the restaurant is relatively empty at all times of the day (although it does get crowded during lunch time on holidays, it is relatively easy to get a table after 1pm).
The interior of the restaurant is decorated to resemble an old Japanese house, and there are plenty of seats. The staff was energetic and crisp, and I never felt particularly uncomfortable.
Almost all the dishes are based on miso, especially the miso ramen, which is made from miso produced in each region of Japan and ingredients unique to that region. Each month, there is also a special dish made with miso from a different region. This is a restaurant you can enjoy no matter how many times you visit.
