外装も内装も非常にシンプルで、余計な装飾も少なく清潔に保たれています。その分食事と会話にを楽しめるラーメン店だと思います。朝の部、昼の部、夜の部という珍しい開店スタイルで、店を開いている時間帯によってスープの出汁が異なります。
入り口に設置されている券売機でチケットを購入するのですが、初めて利用する人からすると設置場所が少し分かりづらいです。その場合、店員がチケットの購入を促します。
具材の種類も盛り付けも豪華で、見た目を楽しむことが出来ますが、スープの味は強すぎず丁度良い味わいです。新庄駅界隈で食事場所に迷ったら、選択する一つのレストランとしてお勧めできます。

ホテルの建物の上部に設置されているネオンサインは一部故障しているため、新庄に到着したのが夜間だった場合、このホテルを見つけるのに少し苦労するかもしれません。各部屋はオートロック式ではなく全て手動です。チェックイン・チェックアウトの対応のスタッフは老齢の男性で、ゆっくりとした所作ですが決してのろのろしているわけではないため、特に接客対応に問題点があるわけではありません。
観光の拠点として利用した方がいいと思います（くつろぐ等、ホテルのサービスそのものを楽しむのはあまりお勧めできません）。

帯屋町一丁目の商店街にある、小さなラーメン店です。店の入り口側がテーブル席、奥側がカウンター席で、席数としては30席程ありますが、互いの席がかなり密集して並んでいます。入口にある券売機でチケットを購入します。
ラーメンだけでなくスープがない油そばもありますが、メインは琥珀色をした塩味のスープです。あっさりですが塩気は強くなくすっきりとしていて、しっかりと麺に絡まっており、後味も引かず最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ます。細麺もコシがあって噛み応えがあります。魚介系のラーメンは魚臭さが人によって好みを分けていますが、このラーメンはそれが全く感じません。特に女性には好まれるかと思います。
セットメニューを購入した場合についてくる鯛めしは、そのままでも食べられますが少し物足りなさを感じました。ラーメンを食べ終わった後に残ったスープを、お茶漬けのようにかけるとぐっと味わいが深まります。

鶏肉や刺身、野菜など、様々な具材が取り揃えられています。『お茶漬け』というように、給仕される出汁を丼にかけるのが一般的ですが、出汁をかけなくても、またはほんの少量だけでも美味しくいただけます。具材も出汁も総じて味は薄目ですが、後味を引くような濃さはありません。
入り口の券売機でチケットを購入するのですが、お金を投入しないと操作できません（硬貨と紙幣のみで、クレジットカード等は利用できません）。おつりのボタンが分かりづらく、やや操作しづらいのが難点です。

また、私用に限り、各作品を撮影することが出来る（但し、フラッシュ及び三脚等の固定するものの使用は厳禁）。彼の弟子たちが遺した作品もあり、浮世絵や肉筆の変化や進化等も観賞することが出来る。各作品には日本語だけでなく英語の説明も併記されているため、海外からの観光客も楽しく観賞することが出来る。

河津の農家が営んでいる、自家農園で収穫した有機栽培の食材を活用したカフェです。佇まいや内装共に山の中腹にでも行かないと味わえないような素朴な雰囲気でありながら、河津駅から徒歩3分程度とアクセスもよく、誰でも気軽に利用することが出来ます。店内は小ぢんまりとしていますが席数は充分にあり、オープンテラスの席もあるため、晴れた日には外の新鮮な空気を味わいながらコーヒーや料理を堪能するのもいいかもしれません。
一方、本業は農業であるため質の高いカフェの給仕等のサービスは期待しない方がよさそうです。入口を入るとすぐにレジが目に入るのですが、先に注文・会計してから着席するのか、着席後に注文するのかが分からず、またその案内もありません。また高齢の方々が給仕・調理・会計を担っているため、注文のためにスタッフを呼ぶ、あるいは給仕までに時間を要することもしばしばあります。カフェのコンセプトからそのようなゆったりなサービスも楽しみの一つではありますので、あまり焦らず利用した方がいいです。
このカフェの名物の一つである、100%自家製全粒粉のマフィンと、わざびと生ハム・野菜を挟んだ『わふぃんサンド』をいただきました。素朴な味わいではありますが、マフィンは冷めると生地が固くなり、少々噛みづらいです。

この食堂ではテイクアウトも営業もしていますが、作り中のテイクアウト用の弁当をカウンターの客席の前に置いていました。狭い厨房の中での効果的な配膳の結果だと思いますが、カウンターに座って食事している客の目の前に弁当が置かれるのはあまりいい気分ではありませんでした。

Although it takes some time from ordering to serving, the dishes seems to be well prepared for that. The lean part of the meat was tender enough but still chewy, and the texture was not watery or unpleasant.
This diner is also open for both take-out and business, but the bento for take-out that were being made were placed in front of the counter seats. I guess it was an effective way of serving food in a small kitchen, but I didn't feel good about having the bento right in front of the customers putting on the counter.

3万点近くもの収蔵作品があるものの、コレクション展以上に企画展に力を入れているようです。それこそ、絵画以上に収蔵以外の作品数も多く、技術的革新も相成って表現の場が他のアート作品に比べて急速に高く且つ広くなっているためでしょう。常設展示は無く、その時、また今の時代が必要としていることを念頭とした展示会が多く見受けられます。
写真の魅せる本当の力とはなんなのか、それには何が込められ、そして何を訴えようとしているのか、そうした程度の差こそあれど、『その時代、その場所』だからこそ訴えられる『力』のある作品を広く公開していこう、という意図があるのだと感じました。

但し、客が利用するスペースは非常に狭いです。座席の後ろの通路は人一人分が通れるくらいの広さしかなく、すれ違うのは非常に難しいです。さらに入り口に段差があるため、障碍を持つ方、大きな荷物を持つ方の利用はお勧めできません。厨房などのスタッフのみが利用できるスペースも狭いからか、食材が通路に置かれていることがあり、一層狭さを感じることがあります。美味しい料理が給仕されるだけに、いくつか残念な点があります。

川崎大師の通称で知られる、現在の初詣のスタイルの起源とも言われる寺院。川崎駅から離れていることと、周囲が住宅街ということもあり、平日は比較的静かだが、休日には多くの参拝客・観光客で賑わう。
この寺院に限ったことではないが、特に休日には境内内に多くの露店が立ち並ぶ。彼らの商魂逞しさは舌を巻く程であるが、静かに参拝したり寺院の景観を愛でる側からすると時として邪魔に映ることがある。喧噪を感じることなく参拝するのであれば、平日がお勧めである。
境内はそれほど広くはないため、境内を周回するだけであれば30分も必要ない。境内には様々な建物があるものの、それらに関する説明書きは少なく、あってもほとんど日本語のみで英語などの多言語での説明は極めて少ない。また境内を案内するガイドもいない。歴史的な趣を感じるより、散策ルートの一つとして、肩肘張らず訪れるといいかもしれない。

善光寺の建物の中では最も新しい建物の一つで、1970年に完成した。戊辰戦争から太平洋戦争に至るまでに亡くなった240万を超える英霊が祀られている。この建物は同時に善光寺史料館となっている。入口は2階で、史料館の展示室は1階に降りる必要がある。基本的に参拝客・観光客が立ち入ることが出来るのは史料館の部分のみ。この建物に限らず、善光寺の建物内部は展示物を含めて全て撮影禁止である。
史料館の展示品は、主に彫像と絵馬の2つに分けられる。展示室はそれほど広くは無いが、その分、彫像の細部に至るまでの技術や表現、善光寺へ参拝する当時の人々の想い等を間近で鑑賞することが出来る。基本的に全ての展示の説明には日本語だけでなく英語も併記されているため、海外からの観光客も楽しむことが出来る。近代日本を代表する仏師・高村光雲・米原雲海作の仁王像の原型、2010年に訪れたダライ・ラマ14世の足跡は特に必見。
忠霊塔であるため、2階には戦禍で被った遺品や善光寺が催した慰霊の行事の写真等が展示されている。

Photography is prohibited not only in this building, but in all Zenkoji buildings, including the exhibits.
The exhibits in the archives can be divided into two main categories: statues and ema(votive picture). The exhibition rooms are not very spacious, but this makes it possible to see up close the detailed techniques and expressions of the statues, as well as the thoughts of the people who visited Zenkoji Temple in those days. Basically, explanations of all the exhibits are written in English as well as Japanese, so tourists from overseas can also enjoy them. The original Niou statue by Takamura Koun and Yonehara Unkai, two of Japan's most famous modern Buddhist artists, and the footprints of the 14th Dalai Lama, who visited in 2010, are especially worth seeing.
As it is also the memorial pagoda, the second floor displays items left behind from the war and photos of memorial events held by Zenkoji.

基本的に境内は無料で利用できるが、一部の建物内（本堂、経蔵、山門等）は入場料金が必要。各建物や安置されている仏像の案内には英語も併記されており、境内に常駐するガイドも必要に応じ英語で案内するため、海外からの観光客も安心して利用できる。
長野駅から2km程の距離があるため、バスなどの公共交通機関も整備されているが、特に苦にもならない緩やかな坂道である上に、参道や仲見世通りには店も多く立ち並んでいるため、徒歩で参拝する人も多い。

おしゃれなインテリアですが決して派手ではなく、木目のシンプルで温かみのあるインテリアでとても心地良いです。
最大の特徴は、主にコーヒーに使用されるカップ。趣味の陶芸で作ったかのような手作り感に溢れ、カップだけでなくマドラーも手作りのものが用意されています。駅からも近く個性的なお店ではありますが、平日ということもありますがそれほど混雑しているという印象は受けません。長野観光のちょっとした人休憩に利用するといいかもしれません。

富山の実業家である佐藤助九郎氏が収蔵していた美術品の多くが展示されている美術館。富山城址公園内にあり、どっしりと構えた佇まいであるが決して主張しすぎることなく、誰もが気軽に利用することが出来る。展示室は、単に周回するだけでは1時間程度の広さであるが、茶道具、古陶磁、日本画等がテーマごとに展示され、その展示方法はシンプルで無駄が無い。大人は210円で高校生以下は無料で利用できる。展示されてる作品の説明のほとんどが日本語のみであるため、海外からの観光客が利用するにあたっては注意が必要である。
2階には、佐藤家より移築された茶室が展示されている。これらはあくまで廊下から見るだけに留まるため、中に入ることは出来ない。

宇和島市のシンボルで、現存天守の一つ。平山城で天守は小高い丘陵の上に位置する。門からは徒歩で15～20分程度で登ることが出来、一部でやや急勾配な坂や階段があるものの全体的に勾配はゆるやか。一部の石段は濡れると滑りやすくなる。またところどころでぬかるみもあるのに注意が必要である。
天守は三層構造と小規模なものであるが、本丸に穏やかに佇んでいるところに目を引かれるだろう。春には桜が咲き誇り、桜と天守の組み合わせは特に美しく映るだろう。
小規模な現存天守ということもあり、天守内の展示は多くなく、むしろ今に伝わる城の構造を見て楽しむものとなっている。3階からの宇和島市内と港の眺めは非常に素晴らしい。
宇和島駅から徒歩で行ける距離で、アクセスも良い。一方、宇和島城専用の駐車場が無いため、車で来る際は近隣の共用駐車場を利用する必要がある。観光ガイドが常駐しているので、城の歴史を彼等から学びながら散策するといいだろう。

つくば駅界隈には飲食店が以外にもあまり多くなく、駅から少し歩いたところにカフェやレストランが点在する。このカフェもその1つで、広々とした店内であることから多くの利用者が集まり、休日には入店のための列が必ず出来る程である。
居心地のいい空間となっているがために、近隣の大学の学生や研究機関の従業員の勉強や討論に利用されることが多く、客の回転は良くない。同時に討論に花開いているため、静かにひと時を過ごす上ではあまり適さないかもしれない。但しそれは日中で、夜間になると黙々と勉強する姿の方が目立つ。夜間の利用であれば比較的静かに過ごせるかもしれない。
このカフェの特徴は非常に凝ったデコレーションのパンケーキである。ボリュームもあり見た目も楽しめるが、やや甘さが強く後味を残しやすい。勿論、パスタやグラタンといったしっかりと食事をするメニューも豊富に揃っている。
