少々残念な印象を持ってしまったラーメン店。
入り口入ってすぐの券売機で食券を購入するが、何度紙幣を挿入しても戻され、その都度店員を呼んで入れてもらうことになる（私だけでなく他の客ほぼ全てで同じだった）。挿入にコツが要るようだが、コツを強いるくらいなら券売機を修理、あるいは一新すべきである。硬貨は問題なく利用できる。電子マネーやクレジットカードの利用は不可。
肝心のラーメンであるが、麺・スープともに味が薄く、印象に残らない。量も少なめで、成人男性では物足りなさを感じるかもしれない。メインの食事処としての利用というより、脂っこいものを食べた後の口直しとして利用するといいのかもしれない。店員の接客態度や盛り付けは丁寧で、そこに不愉快な思いはしなかった分、残念さが残った。

The overall taste of the Ramen is thin and hard to remember. The quantity is small, so if you're an adult male, you might think it's not enough. It's not very flavorful, so that could be a nice palate cleanser after eating something greasy.
It's a shame, because the customer service and serving style were polite.

白の壁にダークブラウンや黒の調度品がシックな雰囲気を醸し出しているカフェです。14:00くらいの昼食の時間帯を過ぎたあたりでの利用だからか、賑やかな商店街とは裏腹に店内は他のお客さんがいつつも静かで、居心地がよかったです。看板スイーツでもある窯焼きのホットケーキはふわふわに拵えられており、添えられているクリームの甘さも程よく（少しこってりとした舌触りでしたが）、甘いものが苦手な人でも問題なく堪能できると思います。
地元の若い人たちがアルバイトをしている関係上、彼らの友人が訪れてスタッフと話をする場面もあります。得てしておしゃべりに興じすぎて他の客を蔑ろにするケースが多いのですが、少なくとも私が訪れた際はそれが目に余るほどのものではありませんでした。友人と挨拶はするものの客とスタッフとしての関係はきちんとわきまえているように見受けられました。そういう意味でも不愉快なことなく利用できるカフェだと思います。

The cafe's white walls and dark brown and black furnishings create a chic atmosphere. Although the shopping street was busy, perhaps because I used it at about 2:00 p.m.(after lunchtime), the cafe was calm and cozy, even with other customers inside.
The cafe's signature dish is its thickly baked oven-baked pancakes. The pancakes are fluffy and the cream on the side is just the right amount of sweetness. I found the cream to be somewhat heavy. Still, I think it's a sweet treat that even those with a sweet tooth can enjoy.
The staff at this cafe seems to be mostly young people who live in the area. Therefore, their friends sometimes visit them as customers. Often, when friends of the staff come in as guests, they often neglect the other guests because they are too busy chatting. But they couldn't be like that. While there were other customers, they seemed to know what to do. In that sense, I think it's a safe cafe to use.

白い壁とウッドテイストの調度品が落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出しているカフェです。内装はとてもオシャレですが決して派手過ぎず、店の雰囲気に見事に溶け込んでいます。大通りから少し離れた場所にあることもあり、喧噪も少なく、ゆったりと過ごすことができます。
パンケーキやフレンチトーストが主体のメニューが数多く揃っており、盛り付けも鮮やかで味だけでなく見た目でも楽しめます。添えられたジャムやクリームも決して甘すぎずまたくどくも無いため、甘いものが苦手な人でも楽しむことが出来ると思います。
入り口がやや狭く段差があるため、障碍を持つ方、スーツケースなどの大きな荷物を持っている方は要注意です。

The menu features a large selection of pancakes and French toast as the main focus of the menu. The appearance of those items is also vibrant and pleasing to the eye as well as the taste. The jam and cream on the pancakes and toast are never too sweet and too rich. Even if you don't have a sweet tooth, you'll still be able to enjoy your meal.
Because the entrance is a little narrow and there are steps, people with disabilities or those with large luggage such as suitcases need to be careful when using the cafe.

宮崎駅から徒歩2分程度という非常にアクセスのよいところにあるホテルです。部屋の広さ・内装・バスルームは、他のビジネスホテルとほとんど変わらず、このホテルならではの特徴的なところはありませんが、このスタイルのホテルに慣れている宿泊者からすれば特段不自由を被るものではありません。ビジネスホテルのバスルームは、大抵古かったり細かなところで汚れていたりしますが、このホテルはほぼ全面的に清潔に保たれ、落ち着いた雰囲気の内装であることに好印象を持てます。
1階にレストラン、外に出るとコンビニがあります。ホテル周辺にも飲食店はありますが、西口ほど数は多くありません。特に夜間の食事処に悩むかもしれませんが、その分騒音も少なく静かにひと時を過ごすことが出来ます。宮崎で、ビジネスや観光目的での宿泊先の一つとしてお勧めできるホテルだと思います。

The bathrooms in business hotels are usually old and dirty in minor ways, but this hotel is almost entirely clean and has a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
There is a restaurant on the first floor of this hotel and a convenience store outside. There are a few restaurants around the hotel, but they are not as numerous as the west exit of Miyazaki station. You may have trouble finding a place to eat, especially at night, but it's a quieter place to spend your time with less noise.
I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Miyazaki for both business and pleasure.

バラやヒマワリ、コスモス等、四季折々の花々を楽しむことが出来る公園です。歩き疲れるくらいの広さでもなく、普通に周遊するだけでも1時間もかけずに回れるため、小さなお子さんや身体に障碍がある方でも充分に楽しめます（園内の至るところにバリアフリーの設備があり、安心して利用できます）。公園内をはっきりと区画割りしているのも特徴的で、それぞれの区画の導線もシンプルであるため、迷うことはまず無いと思います。徒歩だけでも充分に楽しめますが、園内を周遊する小さな園内バスもあり、子供に大人気です。
場所が場所だけに専ら車での来園となりますが、駐車場スペースも充分にあります。但しこの公園のメインの花とも言うべきバラが咲く季節では周辺道路も含めて非常に混雑しますので注意が必要です。

宮崎神宮の北側にあるためやや分かりづらく、目立つような外観の建物ではないため見過ごされがちであるが、宮崎神宮を訪れたついででも構わないので是非とも立ち寄って欲しいスポット。
宮崎県の自然・文化・風土が一堂に会する博物館で、内容はいずれも充実している。展示方法は他の博物館と同じような典型的で奇を衒ったものはないが、それでも退屈することなく工夫されて配置されており、それを無料で楽しむことが出来る（特別展は有料）。一部の映像はチープな作りになっているので、そこはあまり面白いと感じないだろう。またほとんどの展示の説明が日本語のみのため、海外からの観光客にも宮崎の魅力を知ってもらうよう、少なくとも英語の説明を併記するといい（もしくは外国語説明用のスピーカーの貸し出し等）。
化石の標本や大型動物の剥製に加え、子供向けのワークショップも開催されているので、家族連れにはぴったりのスポットだと思う。

The exhibition method is typical same as other museums and is not eccentric, but it is still ingeniously arranged without being boring. There is a charge for special exhibitions, but the permanent exhibition is free.
Some of the footage is not very interesting as it is cheaply made. Most of the exhibits are explained in Japanese only, which is a drawback. It is recommended that an explanation in foreign languages be added for the benefit of foreign visitors.
In addition to fossil specimens and stuffed large animals, there are also workshops for children. They may be very pleased.

境内を歩くと、『明治神宮や熱田神宮などのような日本を代表する典型的な神宮』という印象を受けますが、大都市に鎮座する神社でない分人もそれほど多くなく、日本人がこれまで大切にしてきた『神の坐す場所』のような雰囲気を感じられる神社です。境内には豊かな森が広がっており、観光客を呼び込むようないわゆる奇を衒った施設もありません。日々の喧噪から離れ、静かな環境の中で散策するだけでもいいでしょう。
境内はほとんど起伏がないため、歩いてて疲れることはほとんどありませんが、参道の多くは砂利や土であるため、車いすでの移動はやや不向きです。

無機質な外観とは裏腹に、内部は開放的な造りになっている美術館です。宮崎県出身、あるいは宮崎県にゆかりのある作家の絵画や彫刻が展示され、敷居を高くせず身近にアートを感じられる展示様式の、所謂地域密着型の美術館です。そのため、あまり肩肘張らず、気を楽にしてアートを楽しむには最適の施設だと思います。
拝観料が無料で楽しめるスペースと有料のスペースがあり、無料のスペースの一部では撮影も可能です（但し個人で楽しむ範囲）。主に親子で楽しめるワークショップも開催されているため、年齢・性別問わず誰でも楽しむことが出来ると思います。

There are free spaces and fee-based spaces, and in some of the free spaces, photography is allowed. However, this is limited to your personal enjoyment.

東口のドトールと並び、新幹線や目的の電車（東海道線・小田急線など）を待ちながらひと時を過ごすのに適したカフェ。
東口のドトールと比べるとやや空いている印象を受ける。小田原駅の改札が2Fにあり、スターバックスは1Fに降りないといけないこと、西口は駅ロータリーにいくつかの店があるものの、東口と比較すると数や種類が少ないことが影響しているのかもしれない。それもあって、フランチャイズ特有の雑多な印象は少なく、ゆっくりひと時を過ごすことが出来た。
コンセントが常設されている席もいくつかあるため、スマートフォン等を充電することも可能である。

This may be because the ticket gates at Odawara station are on the second floor and you have to go down to the first floor of the west exit to get to the cafe, and the west exit has fewer shops and variety of shops than the east exit. Thanks to this, I was able to relax and enjoy the less chaotic atmosphere typical of franchised cafe.
Some seats are permanently plugged in, so you can spend your time recharging your batteries.

若者向けのオシャレな内装やテクノロジーを取り入れていながら、どことなく純喫茶のような雰囲気も併せ持つカフェです。店員さんは皆若いですが、決して馴れ馴れしくなく適度な距離を保ち、心地よいサービスを提供してくれます。
注文は、基本的にテーブルに置かれてあるタブレット端末を使用します（操作に不慣れな場合は店員さんに直接注文することも出来ます。タブレットは多言語対応です）。休日の午後ではあるもののそれほど混雑はしておらず、注文後もスムーズに料理が給仕されました。このタブレットは、単に注文だけでなく水や箸の追加の対応にも利用できます。
メインディッシュに注文したカツカレーは、ややカツに水っぽさを感じましたが、それ以外はほぼ文句なく、味や見た目も充分に楽しめます。鳥取旅行の記念に利用したいカフェです。

The Katsu curry I ordered was a little watery, but other than that it was perfectly fine. You can enjoy not only the taste but also the appearance. It's a café that you should visit at least once during your trip to Tottori!

日本橋に本店を構える老舗洋食店『たいめんけん』の味を、上野駅のエキュート上野で楽しめるレストラン。駅の構内にあるからかレストラン内の広さや席数は中規模のレストラン程度。そのため昼食時はほぼ毎日のように行列が出来る程。料理をゆっくり楽しむなら、混雑を避けた時間帯に利用するのがよい。
老舗ではあるが内装や料理の盛り付けに堅苦しさは無く、誰でも気軽に利用することが出来る。オムライスを始め、ハンバーグやカレーが一つのプレートに盛りつけられても、それぞれが味を主張しすぎたり殺したりすることなく、調和が保たれている。限定メニューでは新しい食材や調理方法を取り入れたものもあるが、基本的なメニューでは、昭和後期の古き良き時代を醸し出しているものが多い。好みは分かれるだろうが、ただ新しいものを取り入れるのではなく、古い価値観も大切にしたいという心持ちを感じる。
値段は比較的高めなので足繁く通うことは難しいかもしれないが、たまの贅沢や旅の終わりのひと時に利用するといいだろう。

It is a Western-style Restaurant at Ecute Ueno Station where you can enjoy the taste of "Taimei-ken", a long-established restaurant with its head office in Nihonbashi. Since it is located on the station's premises, the restaurant is about a medium-sized restaurant in terms of size and seating capacity. As a result, it is always crowded at lunchtime.
Although it is a long-established restaurant, the décor and the presentation of the food are not too formal, and anyone can enjoy a meal here in a casual manner. Although omelets, hamburgers, curry sauce, and salads are on single plate, none of which are too assertive or interfere with each other.
Basically, many of the menu seem to have adopted the flavoring of the late Showa period. That may be a pros and cons. But it may want to argue that the old is just as valuable as the new, rather than implicitly taking in the new.
Prices are relatively high, so it's difficult to use them often. It's a good to use it for special occasions or on your way home from a trip.

百貨店のレストランはあまりいいところが多くない印象ですが、久しぶりにいいレストランを利用することが出来た、と思いました。
トンカツをメインディッシュとする定食のお店は様々ありますが、丁寧に拵えられているにも関わらず値段はリーズナブルな方。給仕される肉は、一見するとやや小さめに思いますが、それでも厚さは充分あり歯ごたえも充分にあります。近隣で食事するところで迷ったら、まず挙げられるレストランの一つでは無いかと思います。
ウィルス感染対策も充分であり、外したマスクを置くための専用の紙を用意するところも非常にいいと思います。

市街地から離れた場所にある神社からか、ゆっくりと時間が流れるような空気をまとう神社。休日であっても訪れる人は多くなく、境内を散策しながら静かに時間を過ごすことが出来る。偕楽園内の桜山に位置するからか、春には境内の桜が見頃を迎える。
護国神社の名の通り、幕末から戦時中の戦没者が合祀されており、いくつかの鎮魂碑を見ることが出来る。戦争が終わり既に長い年月が経過し、それらの石碑もどうか長い幾年平和であり続けるよう願いながら鎮座しているようだ。訪れる際は、争いの無い恒久的な平和を願いたい。

美術館の入り口の挨拶文にあるように、この博物館に展示されている品々は単に蒐集されたものではない。水戸徳川家に伝わる宝を鑑賞することが出来る貴重な博物館と言える。徳川家の創始者である徳川家康より賜った品々や、近現代の水戸徳川家宗主にまつわる品々まで、時代と共に大切にしてきたものの移ろいを体感する上でうってつけの博物館と言える。
この博物館の館内は、他の博物館に比べてやや照明を落としている印象を持つ。いずれも展示品の保護を目的としているため、足元には充分注意して観覧する必要がある。一部の展示品は二度の大震災（関東大震災と東日本大震災）で被災し、その後救出された状態で展示されている。痛々しい姿を目の当たりにするが、それでも焼失せず残されたことには非常に感慨深いものがある。一方、展示物の解説は日本語のみ。徳川家の宝物を広く知ってもらうには、少なくとも英語の解説を併記した方がいいと思う。
料金は大人1,500円とやや高め（子供でも1,300円）。あまり足繁く通う場所では無いかもしれない。

Still, it's very impressive that it wasn't burned down. On the other hand, the explanations of the exhibits are in Japanese only. In order to make the treasures of the Tokugawa family more widely known, I think it would be better to include an English explanation at least.
The price is slightly higher at 1,500 yen for adults and 1,300 yen for children. It may not be a museum you go to very often.

水戸市民の憩いの場として親しまれている湖。湖周辺は特に高い建物や山並みの風景が広がっていないため、良く晴れた日には目いっぱいに青空と澄んだ空気を楽しむことが出来る。一方で曇りの日はやや殺風景に映り、また周囲には雨宿り出来る設備が乏しいため、雨の日の利用はいまいち。西側に芝生の広場があるが、遊具らしいものはほとんど見られない。それが却って余計な騒音無く比較的静かに利用できる公園にもなっている。ジョギングや散策にうってつけの場所ともなっている。道がやや狭い箇所があるので、自転車の走行には注意を払いたい。
湖を散策していると白鳥をよく見かける。産卵・子育ての時期は気性が荒くなるので不用意に近づかないようにしたい。

The lake is a popular resting place for the citizens of Mito. On a clear, sunny day, you can enjoy the blue skies and clear air, as the area around the lake does not have a particularly high building or mountainous landscape. On the other hand, on cloudy days, the scenery can be somewhat bleak, and on rainy days, the number of users is low because there are few facilities for sheltering from the rain in the surrounding area.
There is a grassy area on the west side of the lake, but there is little playground equipment. The space is widely used, so there is little noise. It's a great place to stroll or jog. On the other hand, there are a few places where the roads are a bit narrow, so cyclists should be very careful.
As you stroll around the lake, you may see swans. But don't approach them carelessly. Swans are very temperamental during their spawning and rearing seasons.

居酒屋が軒を連ねる新橋での待ち合わせ場所の定番といったら、間違いなくここ。特に広場の象徴とも言えるSLの前で待ち合わせすれば迷うことは間違いないが、その一方で同じこと考えている人は非常に多く、加えてサラリーマン御用達の歓楽街ということもあり、見渡す限り同じ同じようなスーツ姿の人でごった返す。せめてSLのさらに細かい場所（先頭・後部等）を指定した方がいいだろう。
この広場は時折物産展などでテントが建ち並び、地域の特産物を楽しむことが出来る。また、冬はSLにイルミネーションが飾られ、その時ばかりは黒の武骨な車体が様々な色に彩られる。とは言え、周囲は酔っぱらったサラリーマンが屯しているため、静かではなくムードはあまりよくない。

There is no doubt that you will get lost, especially if you meet up in front of the SL that is the square's icon, but on the other hand, there are so many people thinking the same thing. In addition, most of them are in suits and it's hard to tell them apart, especially at night. If you decide to meet up, you should specify in detail, such as being in front of the tip of the SL, not simply in front of it.
Sometimes tents for product fairs are set up in this square. You'll be able to enjoy the local products. In winter, the SL is illuminated with lights, which are brilliantly decorated, but not very romantic. Because at that time of year, there are a lot of businessmen who lack the decency to get intoxicated.

蒲田駅界隈には他にも喫茶店は多数あるものの、JR線・東急線の直結ともあって毎日のように混雑しています。特に天候の悪い日、夏日・冬日など外に出るのも億劫な日は輪にかけて混雑し、席を確保することが非常に難しいです。多くの客に利用してもらえるよう、ほとんどが1～2人席で構成されているため、大人数での利用には不向きだと思います。
前述のように鉄道駅と直結していることも相まって、客の回転はそれなりであるもののあまり落ち着かない雰囲気です。ゆったりと落ち着きながらコーヒーやお茶を楽しむならば、商店街の喫茶店を利用する方がいいかもしれません。また電源を確保できる席もありますが数が少ないことに注意が必要です。

『幸福堂』という店名に完全に名前負けしているカレー専門レストランです。店外の券売機でチケットを購入すると自動的に注文した料理が厨房に送信されて作られますが、配膳・食器の返却、水に至るまでセルフサービスです。器は小さめで、トッピングを含めたカレーの味は至って普通。特徴的なものがなく、まるで百貨店のフードコートを彷彿させます。休日、近隣のレストランやカフェで列が出来るほどの盛況ぶりなのにこの店だけ空いている理由が頷けます。
席数は20席ほどの小さなお店で内装もシンプルで清潔さを保っており、スタッフの対応も特に不快に思うところはありません。ファストフード感覚で利用するのがいいかもしれませんが、複数人で食事を楽しむという意味では不向きなレストランと言えます。

雪が谷大塚駅界隈で割と目立つ看板を掲げていたので入ってみましたが、小ぢんまりとした地方の食堂を彷彿させる普通のラーメン屋さんでした。豚骨スープをベースにしたラーメンが主なメニューなので、仕事帰り、飲み会帰りなどのちょっと小腹が空いた時に利用するお店の一つだと思います（実際に深夜まで開店しています）。
入口は段差があり扉も自動ドアではないため、障碍を持っている方、大きな荷物を持っている方は利用しづらいと思います。スタッフのサービスも決して悪くはありませんが弱々しい印象なので、あまり気持ちよく食事を楽しめる雰囲気では無いかもしれません。

入り口を入って右の通路のカウンター席に電源コンセントが備わっているため、フライトを待つ間スマートフォン等の充電に活用できます。ただし席数はそれほど多くはなく店内も狭いため、大きな荷物を持っている人は、一旦手荷物預かりの手続きを済ませた後で利用するといいでしょう。
