日高狭山線沿いにある小さな食堂。近くにバス停があるが、いずれの駅からも遠いところにあり、基本的に公共交通機関で来るところではない。周囲は住宅地であるため、近隣住民が昼食を楽しむため、あるいは酒を交わしながら夜のつまみを楽しむための食堂と言える。
調理・給仕共に高齢のスタッフによる対応と言うこともあり、素っ気ない部分も多少あり、やや心許ない。定番メニューと言えるトンカツ定食を注文したが、付け合わせのキャベツの水切りが充分では無かったようで、トンカツのころもが水分を吸ってしまい、折角の食感が一部で台無しとなったしまった（勿論トンカツのサクッとした食感を味わえる箇所はあったが）。
全く勧められないという程ではないが、立地や給仕される料理の質から、可もなく不可もない至って普通の食堂であるように思う。

It's a small diner along the Hidaka-Sayama line. There is a bus stop nearby, but it is far from either station, so it is basically not a place to come by public transportation. The surrounding area is a residential area, so it seems to be a diner for nearby residents to enjoy lunch or evening snacks over drinks.
As both the cooking and serving staffs were elderly, the service was a bit unsatisfactory. I ordered the Tonkatsu Set Meal, which is a standard menu item, but it seemed that the cabbage was not drained sufficiently, and the pork cutlet's koromo absorbed the water, ruining some of its original texture (although there were parts where I could enjoy the crispy texture of the pork cutlet).
The diner was not completely unrecommendable, but the location and the quality of the food served made it seem to be an ordinary diner, neither good nor bad.

東神田界隈で、特にライチタイムは連日のように混雑する人気の蕎麦屋です。佇まいや内装は典型的な下町の雰囲気を醸す食堂で、調理から給仕に至るまでの全てのスタッフが元気よく応対し、客としても元気を貰うほどです。
メニューは豊富で、奇を衒ったところはなく典型的とも言えますが、勿論一つとして手を抜いているとは感じませんでした。蕎麦はコシがあり喉越しもよく、スルスルと食べられます。食材によってはランチタイムで全て品切れになってしまうことがあるので注意が必要です。
この店の周囲も、都会ならではの喧騒は少なめなので、ほっと一息つきながら食事を楽しむのに最適な店だと思います。

It is a popular buckwheat noodle restaurant in the Higashi-Kanda area, especially crowded every day during the lychee time. The appearance and interior of the restaurant has a typical downtown atmosphere, and all the staff, from cooking to serving, are cheerful and helpful. You'll be cheered up by them.
The menu was extensive, nothing out of the ordinary, all typical, but of course I felt that nothing was skimped on in the food served. The buckwheat noodles are firm and smooth, and can be eaten easily. Some ingredients may be out of stock by lunch time, so be careful.
The area around this restaurant is not as noisy as one would expect in a city. Therefore, I think it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy dishes.

蓮沼駅界隈で非常に人気の高い食堂です。地域住民は勿論、蓮沼駅界隈の店舗や企業に勤めている人も利用し、連日のように長蛇の列が出来ます。開店は11時ですが開店前に既に5組程度の列ができ、休日にもなると開店から僅か15分程度で10組の待ちが出来る程。しかも料理の具材が無くなり次第閉店するので注意が必要です。また、定休日は木曜日ですが、臨時休業する場合もあります。連絡手段は電話のみであるため、電話で開店しているかどうかを確認するといいかもしれません。
定番メニューは志那そばと半カレーです。志那そばの特徴は、あっさりめのスープに喉越しや食感が抜群の麺です。トッピングはチャーシューや半熟卵等定番のものですが、くどさはなくスルスルと食べられます。一方のカレーは、粘り気と苦みが濃いです。人に依って好みが分かれるかもしれず、苦手な人の場合は、味をまろやかにするための少々の生クリームが利用できれば、丁度いい味に感じるかもしれません。

大森駅東口の商店街にある人気の洋食レストランですが、どちらかというと地域に根付いた小ぢんまりとした食堂、といった印象です。席数も20席ほどで、ランチタイム、ディナータイム共に混雑します。
給仕される料理は、トンカツやオムライス、ビーフシチューなど、いずれも今では日本の食卓や洋食レストランに根付いた定番メニューがほとんど。しかし見た目は勿論味付けも丁寧に拵えられているので、給仕にやや時間を要するものの、最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ました。付け合わせの汁物がスープではなく味噌汁、というのも、地域に根付いた食堂ならではの光景です。
一方、給仕、会計、一部の調理に、地元にお住いのおばちゃん達が活躍していますが、物凄くよく働く一方で所狭しと忙しなく動き、見ているこちらがあまり落ち着きませんでした。ところどころ対応もぶっきらぼうなところがありますが、水のコップが空いているところを見たらすぐに注いでくれました。サービス面でやや難なところもありますが、総じて良いお店だと思います。

Most of the dishes served were classic Japanese Western-style dishes such as pork cutlets, omelet rice, beef stew, etc., all of which have now taken root on Japanese tables and in Western-style restaurants. Of course, the dishes were carefully prepared not only in terms of appearance but also in terms of seasoning, so although it took a little time to serve, you will be able to enjoy them all the way through. The fact that miso soup is served as an accompaniment is another sight that can only be found in a restaurant with deep roots in the community.
However, the local ladies who serve, pay the bill, and do some of the cooking work very well, but they were also very busy and restless to watch. They were a bit blunt, but when they saw that my water glass was empty, they immediately poured it for me. The service was a little difficult in some areas, but I think it is a good restaurant in general.

無機質ながらも整然とした神殿のような建物、水面に浮かぶ佐藤忠良氏の彫刻作品、陰影を巧みに利用した館内、単に美術品を展示する美術館ではなく、建物そのものが素晴らしい美術的センスに溢れている。特に晴れた日には水面に照り返された陽の光が天井や壁に映り、時間と共に変化する様子を楽しむことも出来る。
美術品の展示の仕方は極めてシンプルで、余計な説明も少なく、全て観覧者の想像を掻き立てるように展示されている。日本語だけでなく英語の説明文も併記されているため、海外観光客も充分に楽しむことが出来る。
基本的に車で来る場所であり、バスの本数は多くは無い。予め時刻表等を確認して利用することをお勧めする。
是非ともお勧めしたい、展示されている美術品だけでなく建物そのものが素晴らしい美術館である。

Especially on a sunny day, the sunlight shining on the surface of the water reflects on the ceiling and walls, and you can enjoy how it changes with time.
The artworks are displayed in a very simple way, with few explanations, and all of them are designed to stimulate the visitors' imagination. The explanations are not only in Japanese but also in English, making it possible for overseas visitors to enjoy the exhibits.
Basically, it is a place to come by car, and there are not many buses. So it is recommended to check the timetable beforehand.
I highly recommend this art museum, not only for the artworks on display but also for enjoying the building itself.

宇都宮駅西口の、最も外装や幟が目立つ餃子レストラン。しかし中は至って普通の食堂という感じです。
焼き餃子、揚げ餃子、水餃子等、調理方法が異なる餃子を揃えていますが、包まれている餡は普通。色々な味や食感が楽しめる餃子が多く揃っている、というわけではありません。勿論、味や食感も可も無く不可も無く、とりわけ惹かれるような要素がありませんでした。
とは言え、宇都宮周辺の餃子店は、店内の構造もサービスも悪く、味も大して美味しくないお店もあるため、それらと比較すると及第点、といったところです。

A Gyoza restaurant at the west exit of Utsunomiya station with the most prominent exterior and banner. Inside, however, it looks like an ordinary diner.
There are different types of gyoza, such as baked, fried, and sui gyoza, but the filling is almost same. It's not like there are a lot of dumplings with different tastes and textures. The taste and texture were neither good nor bad, and there was nothing in particular that attracted me.
However, compared to other gyoza stores around Utsunomiya where the structure and service are poor and the taste is not that great, it is a fair comparison.

カウンター席10席程度の狭いレストランですが、昼夜問わず列が出来る程の人気を誇ります。山手線などの頻繁に電車が行き交う高架橋下にある店でありながら、食べている最中はそこまでの騒音を感じることはありませんでした。
メインディッシュは、担担麺や麻婆豆腐等のいわゆる辛い料理。最も辛くない、香辛料の量を抑えていても、食後も汗が噴き出て痺れるような感覚が残るような辛さでした。そのため、辛いものが苦手な方はお勧めできません。勿論、辛さという刺激に誤魔化すことなくいずれの料理も美味しく、特に麺やトッピングの野菜の歯ごたえは抜群でした。リピーターが多いのも頷けます。

It is a small restaurant with only about 10 counter seats, but it is so popular that people line up day and night. Although the restaurant is located under an elevated bridge where frequent trains such as the Yamanote Line come and go, I did not feel that much noise while I was eating.
The main dishes were the so-called spicy dishes such as Tantanmen and Mapo tofu. Even the least spicy, with the least amount of spices, was spicy enough to leave me sweating and feeling numb even after eating. Therefore, if you don't like spicy food, this is not the place for you. Of course, the spiciness did not deceive us, and all the dishes were delicious, especially the noodles and the crunchy topping vegetables. No wonder they have so many repeat customers.

給仕される料理は餃子のみ、という何とも一風変わった餃子専門レストラン（ドリンクは、水やお茶、ビール等いくつか種類があります）。スタッフが客から注文を聞くのはドリンクのみで、自動的に1人につき2皿分（計10個）の餃子が給仕されます。3皿目から追加の可否が可能となり、加えてモヤシとニラの和え物が付いてきます。
この餃子に使われている具材は、野菜の割合が多いため、2皿くらいであればスルッと食べられます。長年餃子専門で賄ってきたお店であるだけに、典型的でありながら親しみやすい味付けで、醬油や酢などの調味料の味にもよく馴染みます。
支払いは現金のみ。ドリンクメニュー等掲示されている情報も日本語のみで、スタッフも基本的に日本語のみの対応かと思います。そのため外国人観光客には利用しづらい様に感じるかもしれませんが、日本の下町ならではの食堂の雰囲気を楽しむには丁度いいかもしれません。

This is an unusual restaurant specializing in Gyoza, where the only food served is gyoza (there are several types of drinks available, such as water, tea, and beer). The staff only asks for drink orders and automatically serves two plates of gyoza per person (10 pieces in total).
From the third plate, additional Gyoza can be added in optional, and in addition, bean sprouts and chives are served.
The ingredients used in these gyoza have a high percentage of vegetables, so you can easily eat about 10 pieces. As the restaurant has specialized in providing gyoza for many years, the flavor is typical yet familiar, and it blends well with the taste of soy sauce, vinegar, and other seasonings.
Payment is cash only. The drink menu and other information posted are only in Japanese, and I think the staff basically only speaks Japanese. This may make it difficult for foreign tourists to use the restaurant, but it may be just right for you to enjoy the atmosphere of a typical Japanese downtown restaurant.

家系のラーメン店ですが、周辺の他の店舗と比較しても昼夜問わず行列が出来る程の人気店です。店内はカウンター席のみで席数も10席程度と多くはありません。
盛り付けの見た目はいずれの家系のラーメンと特に遜色は無いですが、スープはまろやかで塩気がきつくなく、またくどすぎず程よく麺と絡むため、最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ました。モチモチした麺の食感もよかったです（但し、弾力にややムラがあり、一部で弾力が強すぎる感じがしました）。
クセが強すぎないためその店ならではの特徴的なものが弱いですが、誰でも気軽に利用できるラーメン店だと思います。

The appearance of the dish is not particularly inferior to that of any other house style ramen. However, the broth was mild, not too salty and not too harsh, and it mixed well with the noodles, so I was able to enjoy it all the way through. The texture of the chewy noodles was also good (however, the elasticity was a little uneven, and I felt that the elasticity was too strong in some parts).
It's not too peculiar, so it's not very unique, but I think it's a ramen restaurant that anyone can easily use.

大宮駅のecute内にある、かにチャーハン専門のレストランです。カウンター席のみでテーブル席は無く、通路は狭いため、障碍を持っていたり大きな荷物を持っている客はやや利用しづらい印象を持つかもしれません。
駅構内のレストランであるため、注文から給仕までのスピードが早いです。休日の昼食時は行列が出来ますが、カウンター席のみの客席である関係上少人数での利用客が多く、客の回転も早め。そのためあまり待たされることなく料理を堪能することが出来ます。

これまで何回か利用しましたが、2020年より注文方法が事前にチケットを購入するシステムになりました。注文を確定させないと入金出来ないシステムで、操作方法が分かりづらかったです。また少しずつ料理の量が少なくなっているように見受けられ、量と比較して値段が割高に感じました。
味は以前と変わらず素晴らしいのですが、少し残念な点がいくつか見られました。他のレストランで混雑してこのレストランが空いていればお勧めの一つとして挙げられますが、真っ先にお勧めしたいお店ではありません。

As the restaurant is located inside the station, it is very fast from ordering to serving. During lunch time on weekends and holidays, there is a line of customers, but since the restaurant only has counter seats, many customers come in small groups, and the turnover is quick. Therefore, you can enjoy your meal without having to wait too long.

I have used this service several times in the past, but since 2020, the ordering method has changed to a system where you purchase tickets in advance. I found it difficult to understand how to operate the system, as I could not make a deposit until I confirmed my order. Also, the amount of food seemed to be decreasing little by little, and the price seemed rather expensive compared to the amount of food.
The taste is still as great as before, but I found a few things to be a little disappointing. If other restaurants are crowded and this one is open, it would be one of my recommendations, but it is not the first place I would recommend.

白い壁と木調のテーブルや椅子が、シンプルでさっぱりしていますが決して派手過ぎず主張しすぎないところが好印象のカフェです。室内の照明や外からの光の取入れ方も絶妙で、明るすぎず暗すぎない丁度いい明るさになっていて、誰もが利用しやすい環境に整っています。
スタッフの皆さんもとてもフレンドリーですが、決して馴れ馴れしくなく適度な距離を保ちながら接客しています。ドリンクやフードも味は勿論ですが見た目も楽しめる盛り付けで、こちらも内装と同様にくど過ぎずさっぱりとした味付けでペロッといただくことが出来ました。
商店街の中でも素晴らしいサービスと料理を提供するカフェだと思います。

The interior is simple and clean, with white walls and wooden tables and chairs, which give a very good impression because it is not too flashy and not too assertive. The lighting in the room and the way it is lit from outside is exquisite, not too bright and not too dark, just the right amount of brightness, creating an environment that is easy to use for everyone.
The staff are all very friendly, but they are not overly familiar with each other and maintain a moderate distance from each other. The drinks and food were not only tasty but also visually pleasing, and just like the interior, they were refreshing and not too overpowering.
I think this is one of the best cafes in the shopping district with great service and food.

葛飾北斎の作品が展示されている美術館と銘打っているが、どちらかというと『葛飾北斎』という人物や作風の軌跡を追った資料館という立ち位置の方が近い。葛飾北斎の作品が一堂に集められた絢爛豪華な美術館を想像すると、落胆してしまうかもしれない。
展示されている浮世絵は全て複製で、一部を除きほとんどの作品が（個人で楽しむ範疇で）撮影可能である（但しフラッシュ機能の使用は禁止）。各展示の説明には必ず英語が併記されているため、外国人観光客にも楽しめる。展示室への昇降はエレベーターのみであるため、障碍を持つ人でも楽しむことが出来る。
常設展の部屋はそれほど広くは無く、30分程度で回れる。常設展のみであれば400円で済むが、少し物足りなく感じるかもしれない。より浮世絵や葛飾北斎のことを知ったり楽しんだりするのであれば、企画展が開催されている時に利用するといいだろう。

All of the Ukiyo-e works on display are reproductions, and with the exception of a few, most of them can be photographed (within the scope of personal enjoyment), although the use of flash is prohibited. The explanations of each exhibit are always written in English, so foreign visitors can also enjoy them. The elevator is the only way to get up and down to the exhibition rooms, so people with disabilities can also enjoy the museum.
The rooms of the permanent collection are not very large and can be visited in about 30 minutes. If you only want to visit the permanent exhibition, you can pay only 400 yen, but you may feel a little short. If you want to learn more about Ukiyo-e and Katsushika Hokusai, it would be better to visit the museum when the special exhibition is held.

ソーセージを始めとする肉料理、ピクルスやチーズをふんだんに活用した料理など、盛り付けの華やかさを前面に出しつつも、素材や味等こだわるところはこだわるレストランです。
料理と同じく内装もおしゃれで、随所にこだわりを感じますが決して奇を衒ったところはありません。少なくとも私が利用した時は男性の店員が圧倒的に多かったので、デートや女性同士での食事であれば喜ばれるかもしれません。彼らの接客態度はとても気さくで、客が呼ぶとすぐに来てくれますが決して馴れ馴れしくはなく、適度な距離感で接客します。
特別な日の食事に利用するといいかもしれません。

They are very friendly and will come to you as soon as you call them, but never in a familiar way, and they will serve you at a moderate distance.

入り口に掲げられている看板が特徴的なラーメン店です。菊名駅の西口すぐのところにあるため、天候に関係なく利用しやすいです。
コの字のカウンター席のみで、テーブル席はありません。1人もしくは2人程度の少人数で利用するのが好ましいでしょう。入り口に設置されている券売機でチケットを購入しますが、メニューが多すぎな上、一部字が小さくなっているものもあるため、一部の利用者には利用しづらい印象を持ちます。
一方、とにかく盛り付けが豪快。スープはまろやかできつい味付けではないため、最後まで美味しくいただけます。

This is a ramen restaurant with a distinctive sign posted at the entrance. It is located right outside the west exit of Kikuna Station, making it easy to use regardless of the weather.
There are only counter seats, no tables, and it is best to use the restaurant with a small group of one or two people. There is a ticket vending machine at the entrance to purchase tickets, but there are too many menus and some of them have small print, which may make it difficult for some customers to use.
On the other hand, the ramen is served in a bold way. The soup is mild and not too strong, so you can enjoy it all the way through.

桜や紅葉など、四季折々の様相を楽しむことが出来る、盛岡市民の憩いの場です。往年の盛岡城の面影を示す石垣等、東北地方で石垣が組まれている城郭は珍しく、歴史的側面からでも非常に興味深い場所でもあります。
平山城であるため園内は起伏がありますが、昇降がきついほどの斜面でもないため、お年寄りでも気軽に散歩できます。階段だけでなくスロープも充実しており、障碍を持っている方でも気軽に利用できます。敷地内にボール遊びが出来る広場も整っており、子供の遊び場としても広く活用されています。季節の移ろいを感じながら散策するにはうってつけの場所の一つです。

It is a place of relaxation for Morioka citizens, where you can enjoy the seasonal changes such as cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. The stonewalls are reminiscent of the Morioka Castle of the past, and since it is rare to see a castle with stonewalls in the Tohoku region, it is a very interesting place from a historical perspective.
The park has some ups and downs, but the slopes are not so steep that even the elderly can easily walk up and down them. There are not only stairs but also ramps, making it easy for people with disabilities to use. There is also an open space on the premises where you can play with a ball, and it is widely used as a playground for children. It is one of the best places to take a stroll and feel the change of seasons.

典型的なびっくりドンキー系列の、ウェスタンな内装が特徴のファミリーレストラン。ハンバーグを主体に様々なトッピングの盛り付けの料理が、メニューに所狭しと並べられ、サイドメニューも充実しているため注文者としては何をオーダーしていいか迷ってしまうかもしれない（それも一つの楽しみではあるが）。
客席の構成も4人以上を前提としているからか、3人以下の少数利用の場合、店員の対応もやや素っ気ない様に感じる。多くの客が日々利用していることもあり、注文時はテーブルに置かれたボタンを押してスタッフに通知するが、テーブルによってはボタンを押しても通知されない、されにくい場合がある（私の場合は結局声を上げてスタッフを呼ぶこととなった）。
味や盛り付けは特別奇を衒ったところはないが、冷めやすいのが難点。ハンバーグが冷めると塩味が濃くなり、人によっては受け付けられなくなる可能性がある。
手軽にランチが食べられるレストランの一つではあるが、リピートするほどでもない。

A typical Bikkuri Donkey family restaurant with a western interior. With hamburgers as the main dish and a variety of toppings. The menu is crammed, and there is also a wide variety of side dishes, so you may be confused about what to order (although that is one of the pleasures).
The seating configuration seems to be based on the assumption that there will be four or more customers, and the staff seems to be a bit unresponsive when there are only three or fewer customers. When you place an order, you push a button on the table to notify the staff. However, since many customers use the restaurant on a daily basis, there are times when the staff is not notified even if you press the button (in my case, I ended up raising my voice to call the staff).
The taste and presentation of the food is not particularly fancy, but the drawback is that it gets cold easily. When the hamburger steak gets cold, the saltiness becomes too strong and may be unacceptable to some people.
Although it is one of the restaurants where you can have a quick lunch, I feel that it is difficult to increase the number of repeat customers under the current circumstances.

上野駅中央改札口付近にある駅構内のカフェ。目の前に新幹線の改札口があるため、利用する新幹線に乗車する前の待ち合わせとして利用する客が多い。しかし店内には充分な席数があるため、長蛇の列が出来る程混雑していることはほとんどない。カフェ内のスペースは2つに分かれており、そのうちの1つは階段で昇降するが、もう一つはその必要が無いため、身体に障碍を持つ人や大きな荷物を持つ人も気軽に利用することが出来る。
料理の品質は特筆すべき項目は無く、接客態度も特に不愉快に感じる点も無い。可も無く不可も無くという印象である。やや料理の値段が高いようにも思えるが、駅構内のカフェである所以であろう。

The cafe is divided into two spaces, one of them requires stairs to get up and down, while the other does not. This makes it easy for people with physical disabilities and people with large luggage to use the cafe.
There is nothing unique about the taste, quality, or presentation of the food, and there is nothing particularly unpleasant about the customer service. My impression was that it was neither good nor bad. The price of the food seems a little high, but that may be because it is a cafe in Ueno Station, a station with many users.

少なくとも私にとって、このレストランは敦賀駅界隈で抜きんでて質が高い。都市部でもこれほどの質の高い料理が給仕されるレストランは少ない。雪の舞うつんざくような寒さの中ではどこのレストランも軒並み客は少ないが、このレストランだけは多くの客がその料理に舌鼓を打っていた。
店内は小ぢんまりとしているため、席数も20席未満と多くは無い。利用当時はご夫婦と思われるお二人で切り盛りをしていたので、注文から給仕までやや時間を要する。しかしいずれの料理も丁寧に拵えられ、盛り付けも美しく、味は勿論のこと歯ごたえも素晴らしい（特に天麩羅）。
観光シーズンの休日等は行列が出来るので注意したい。それでも、敦賀に訪れた際は利用したいレストランである。

At least for me, the quality of food and service at this restaurant is by far the best in the Tsuruga Station area. Even in the city, there are few restaurants that serve such high quality food. In the biting cold and snowy weather, there were not many customers in any of the restaurants, but this restaurant was the only one that had many customers enjoying the food.
The restaurant is small, with less than 20 seats. At the time of my visit, the restaurant seemed to be run by a couple, so it took some time from ordering to serving. However, all the dishes were carefully prepared, beautifully arranged, and of course tasted wonderfully crunchy (especially the tempura).
During the tourist season and on holidays, you may have to wait in line. Nevertheless, it is a restaurant that I would like to visit when I visit Tsuruga.

コンクリートの床に白を基調としたテーブル、木製の椅子といった、無機質な内装と調度品ながらも、シンプルに品よくまとまっているため、老若男女問わず気軽に利用できるカフェです。多くのコーヒーチェーン店では、コーヒーを注文するとすぐに給仕されますが、ここでは一杯一杯を焙煎して淹れるため、給仕されるまで少し時間がかかるものの深い香りを味を楽しむことが出来ます。スタッフの方々が、コーヒーについて簡潔かつ丁寧に説明してくれるのも好印象です。カウンター席から品川駅の通路と新幹線の改札が見えるスポットとしても有名です。
一方、店舗として仕切られていないからか、アトレの商業施設特有の雑多な音が止むことなく入ってくるため、少し騒々しいです。注文したコーヒーは、淹れた後注文した人の名前で呼ばれますが、その音に掻き消されて聞こえない恐れがあります。各テーブルも非常にスタイリッシュですが、一部、その形状にこだわりすぎている感じがします。
折角コーヒーが美味しいのに、環境的にあまりゆっくり出来ない、という印象です。

The cafe that is decorated and furnished with a concrete floor, white tables, and wooden chairs, giving it an inorganic impression. Nevertheless, they are simple and elegant, making it a cafe that can be used casually by people of all ages. In many coffee chains, coffee is served immediately after you order it, but here, each cup is roasted and brewed individually. So it takes some time from the time you order to the time it is served, but you can enjoy the deep aroma and taste. I like the fact that the staff is very knowledgeable about coffee and explains everything in a concise and detail. It is also famous for its spot where you can see the passageway of Shinagawa Station and the Shinkansen ticket gates from the counter seats.
On the other hand, the cafe is a bit noisy, probably because it is not partitioned off as a shop, and the miscellaneous sounds peculiar to the Atré commercial facility keep coming in without stopping. After the coffee you ordered is brewed, the name of you who ordered it is called out, but the noise may drown you out and you may not hear it. Each table is very stylish, but some of them seem to be too focused on their shape, making them difficult to use.
The coffee is delicious, but the environment is not very relaxing.

上野恩賜公園内及びその界隈の美術館や博物館は、国立や都立などの公営であるため、基本的に月曜日が休館となる。一方の上野の森美術館は公益財団法人による運営のため、展示期間中は基本的に開館している。アートや文化財を観賞したいがその日が月曜日である人にとって、最適な美術館の一つと言える。
一方、公益財団法人の運営であるため、近隣の都立美術館や西洋美術館と比較すると、規模が小さい上に展示数も多くない。拝観料は展示の内容によって決められているため、場合によりやや高いと感じるかもしれない。だからと言ってぞんざいな展示の仕方であるわけでもなく、分かりやすく洗練された展示の仕方となっている。
規模が小さめの美術館であるため、館内に休憩スペースとなるベンチや椅子等は存在しないことに注意が必要である。

Art galleries and museums in and around Ueno Onshi Park are basically closed on Mondays because they are publicly operated, such as national or metropolitan museums. On the other hand, the Ueno Royal Museum is operated by a public interest incorporated foundation, so it is basically open during the exhibition period. It is one of the best museums for those who want to see art and cultural assets but it is on a Monday.
On the other hand, since the museum is run by a public interest incorporated foundation, it is smaller in scale and does not have as many exhibits as the nearby Metropolitan Art Museum or the Museum of Western Art. The admission fee is determined by the contents of the exhibition, which may seem a bit expensive in some cases. Even so, this does not mean that the exhibits are careless, but rather that they are easy to understand and sophisticated.
Note that there are no benches or chairs for resting in the museum, as it is a small museum.
