昭和期の古き良き面影を残すカフェで、（周囲には他にも数軒飲食店はあるものの）通りからやや離れているからか周辺は静かな環境です。
やや暗めの照明、シックな色合いの木材を活かした調度品、店内の程よいアクセントになっているステンドグラスやアンティークが特徴的で、心地よい雰囲気が醸し出されています。一方、そのような雰囲気は人気を呼び、特に休日は主に女性客で賑わいますが、そんな彼等もそのような雰囲気に配慮してか、おしゃべりをしても不愉快に感じる程の音量ではありません（私が訪れた時がたまたまそうだったのかもしれませんが）。
コーヒーや紅茶といった、カフェならではのドリンクもありますが、このカフェの一押しは自家製のジンジャーソーダです。見た目こそスッキリしていますが、やや濃い目の味であるため好みが分かれるかもしれません（但し後味はそれ程残らず、スッキリとしています）。さらにデザートの一押しはヌガーグラッセで、しっかりと冷やした状態で提供されるからか食感はシャーベットに近く、しかも典型的なヌガーに見られるようなくどい甘さは無く控え目です。むしろジンジャーソーダも、こうしたデザートと組み合わせると程よい味になるのではと思います。
スタッフは一様に物静かですがとてもテキパキとしていて手際が良く、とても好印象でした。
店内は狭く、出入口に段差が見られるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用には不向きです。スーツケースなどの大きな荷物も、ホテルやコインロッカーに預けて利用するといいでしょう。

This atmosphere has made the cafe quite popular - especially on weekends, when it tends to attract many female customers. Even so, guests generally remain mindful of the setting, and conversations are kept at a pleasant volume (though this may vary depending on the time of visit).
In addition to standard cafe drinks like coffee and tea, the standout item here is the house-made ginger soda. While it looks refreshing, it has a relatively strong flavor, which may not suit everyone's taste, though the aftertaste remains clean and crisp. A recommended dessert is the nougat glacé, served well-chilled with a texture closer to sherbet. Unlike typical nougat, it's not overly sweet, offering a more balanced flavor. In fact, pairing it with the ginger soda creates a well-rounded combination.

初見の人からは「そもそも何の料理が提供される店？」と訝ってしまうくらいに、何はともあれ店名のインパクトの強さに興味を引く食堂だと思います。物珍しさは勿論、味も定評があるため、平日休日問わず昼食時間帯や夕食時間帯は必ずと言っていい程待ち行列が出来ます。しかし行列が出来るのは、そもそも店内には10席も満たないカウンター席しか無いことも要因の一つかもしれません。とは言え、利用客はほぼ単身者もしくは2人程度のグループで、客の回転は悪くはありません。
出入口近くの券売機で食券を購入する必要があります。スタッフは一様に手早く調理しているものの、調理や盛り付けにこだわりがあるからか、想定よりも給仕のタイミングがやや遅いと感じました（遅すぎてイライラする程ではありませんが）。
基本は釜揚げされた太麺に卵黄・ネギ・チャーシュー・メンマがトッピングされています。胡椒がまぶされているため、パッと見ではまるでカルボナーラのような印象を受けるかもしれませんが、カルボナーラならではのややくど目のクリーミーさはありません。それでも油そばのように卵黄を絡めれば、麺や具材にまろやかさが加わり、それぞれの持つ味と食感がマッチし最後まで美味しくいただけると思います。調味料無しでも美味しいですが、様々な味付けを楽しむために、テーブル上には複数種の調味料があります。量を調節しながら好みの味を見つけるのもいいでしょう。
羽田空港からアクセスしやすい、という立地上、スーツケースを持って来店する客も見られますが、カウンター席後ろの通路はかなり狭いため、大きな荷物はホテルやコインロッカーに預けてから利用するといいでしょう。

Beyond the novelty, however, the food itself has a strong reputation, and the place almost always has a waiting line during lunch and dinner hours on both weekdays and weekends. That said, one reason for the line is the limited seating - there are fewer than 10 counter seats in total. Still, most customers are solo diners or small groups of two, so turnover is relatively quick.
You need to purchase a meal ticket from the vending machine near the entrance before being seated. The staff work efficiently, but perhaps due to their attention to detail in preparation and presentation, the food may take slightly longer to be served than expected (though not to a frustrating degree).
The main dish features thick, freshly boiled noodles topped with egg yolk, green onions, chashu pork, and bamboo shoots. A sprinkling of black pepper gives it a visual resemblance to carbonara at first glance, but it lacks the heavy creaminess typical of that dish. It's delicious even without additional seasoning, but several condiments are available at the table, allowing you to customize the flavor to your liking. Adjusting the seasoning little by little to find your preferred taste is part of the experience.
Given its convenient location near Haneda Airport, some customers do come in with suitcases; however, since the aisle behind the counter seating is quite narrow, I recommend leaving large luggage at a hotel or in a coin-operated locker before visiting.

ほったらかし温泉の敷地内にある飲食を提供する施設で、レストランと言うよりも注文と出来上がった料理を提供するだけのスタンド、という位置づけです。基本的に専用の飲食用スペースは設けられておらず、敷地内のオープンスペースや休憩所内のベンチ等を利用して飲食します。天気のいい日であれば遠くの富士山や眼下に広がる甲府盆地の絶景を見ながら食事を楽しめるかもしれません。
ほったらかし温泉自体が日の出から営業している関係上、この施設も早朝と昼以降とで提供される料理が異なります。早朝は主に卵かけご飯が、昼以降はカレーが主体となっています。場所柄新鮮な食材を用意しやすく、そういった食材を使った料理を求めて多くの人が利用するように見受けられます（早朝提供の卵かけご飯は特に）。盛り付け自体特に奇を衒ったところはありませんし、特別な味付けが施されているわけではありませんが、温泉に浸かった後の絶景を眺めながらの食事は格別なものになると思います。
注文した料理が出来上がった際は、口頭で呼ばれ、フードコート等で見られるブザー等はありません。そのため、注文後この施設から離れた場所に行くことは避けた方がいいでしょう。基本的にメニューは全て日本語で書かれているため、海外からの観光客には少し分かりづらいかもしれません。

Rather than a full-service restaurant, it functions as a simple counter where you place your order and pick up your food when it's ready. There is no dedicated dining area; instead, visitors eat in open spaces around the site or on benches in nearby rest areas. On clear days, you can enjoy your meal while taking in spectacular views of Mt. Fuji and the Kofu Basin below.
Since Hottarakashi Onsen opens from sunrise, the menu here changes depending on the time of day. In the early morning, the main offering is tamago-kake gohan (rice with raw egg), while from around midday onward, curry becomes the primary option. Thanks to the location, fresh ingredients are readily available, and many visitors come specifically to enjoy dishes made with them - especially the early-morning egg rice. The presentation is simple and the seasoning is not particularly elaborate, but enjoying a meal after a hot spring bath while overlooking such scenery makes for a truly special experience.
When your order is ready, your name is called out verbally - there are no buzzers like those used in food courts. For this reason, it’s best not to wander too far from the stand after ordering. Also, the menu is written primarily in Japanese, which may be a bit difficult for international visitors to navigate.

長瀞駅から徒歩5分程度のところにあるかき氷専門店で、皆野町にあるお店の支店に該当します。本店と同様に人気が高く、連日のように長蛇の列が出来ます（特にイベント等が無い平日ですら列が出来るため、休日に出来る列の長さは推して知るべし）。一方で本店と同様に提供されるのはかき氷とドリンクのみであるため、客の回転は決して悪くありません。
大正期や昭和初期のカフェをイメージした内装が特徴的な本店とは異なり、白の壁面とシックな色合いの木調のテーブルや椅子、というすっきりとしたシンプルな内装ですが、それでもモダンな印象を漂わせています。
提供されるかき氷はいずれもやや高めの価格設定であるものの、器からはみ出るかのようにこんもりと盛り付けられ、雑味がなくスッキリとしていて口どけもよく、例えシロップが無くても美味しくいただけると思います。シロップは本店と同じく甘さは控えめで、かき氷によく合っています。涼をとるためのデザート、という位置づけに捉われない、この店ならではの独自のデザート、という位置づけになっているように思います。
本店と同様に現金のみで、テーブルに全ての注文したかき氷（もしくはドリンク）が揃った時点でテーブルごとの会計となります。

This shaved ice specialty shop is located about a 5-minute walk from Nagatoro Station and is a branch of a well-known store in Minano Town. Like the main branch, it's very popular and often has long lines every day - even on weekdays without special events, so you can expect even longer waits on weekends. However, since the menu is limited to shaved ice and drinks, customer turnover is relatively efficient.
Unlike the main branch, which features a Taisho- to early Showa-era cafe style, this location has a clean and simple interior with white walls and chic wooden tables and chairs, giving it a modern feel.
The shaved ice is priced on the higher side, but each serving is generously piled high, almost overflowing from the bowl. The ice itself is pure, light, and smooth, with an excellent melt-in-your-mouth texture - delicious even without syrup. The syrups, like those at the main branch, are mildly sweet and pair perfectly with the ice. Rather than just a way to cool down, the desserts here feel like unique, refined creations in their own right.
As with the main branch, payment is cash only. You pay at the table once all ordered items (shaved ice or drinks) have been served.

国際通りからやや外れたところにあるイタリアンレストランで、事前予約は必須、（利用する時間帯にもよりますが）数カ月先まで予約で埋まる程の人気店です。
バーのような雰囲気のやや小ぢんまりとした店内で、テーブル席もありますがほとんどがカウンター席です。そのため大人数での予約・利用は出来ないと思います。気心の知れた友人やパートナーと利用するといいでしょう。逆に、思う存分ピザやパスタを堪能したいがために単身で利用する客も少なくありません。
各料理やお酒の値段は確かに張りますが、間違いなくそれだけの価値があるピザやパスタを堪能できます。味は言わずもがなですが、とにかく『香り』が素晴らしい。絶妙な焼き加減の生地、こだわりぬいたチーズ、トマトソースをはじめ、ハチミツやオイルなどが鼻孔をくすぐり、一層食欲をかき立てます。
お酒はピザに合うワインやウイスキーが多数用意されていますが、多くがスパークリングで提供されます。注文すればストレート（もしくはロック）でいただくことも出来るのですが、その場合お酒の香りが折角のピザの香りを打ち消してしまっている、というように感じました。スパークリングで提供されるのも、そういったところも計算した上なのかもしれません。
那覇市街地で特別な夜を過ごすには絶好のお店の一つになると思います。

This Italian restaurant is located slightly off Kokusai Street and is extremely popular - advance reservations are essential, and depending on the time, it may be fully booked several months in advance.
The interior is relatively small with a bar-like atmosphere. While there are a few table seats, most of the seating is at the counter, making it unsuitable for large groups. It’s best suited for dining with a close friend or partner. On the other hand, it’s not uncommon to see solo diners who come specifically to enjoy the pizza and pasta to the fullest.
The prices for both food and drinks are on the higher side, but the quality of the pizza and pasta fully justifies the cost. The taste is excellent, of course, but what stands out most is the aroma. The perfectly baked dough, carefully selected cheeses, tomato sauce, and even accents like honey and oil create an enticing fragrance that enhances the entire dining experience.
A wide selection of wines and whiskies that pair well with pizza is available, though many are served as sparkling drinks. While you can request them straight or on the rocks, doing so may overpower the delicate aroma of the pizza. Serving them as sparkling options may be a deliberate choice to complement the food more effectively.
This is an excellent choice for a special evening in central Naha.

旭橋駅、那覇バスターミナルの至近にあるビジネスホテルであるため、那覇空港との行き来、ゆいれーるを利用した上での（主に）那覇市内の観光やビジネス、高速バスを利用した本島内の遠方への旅の拠点に最適のホテルの一つと言えます。
ロビー、客室ともに清潔に保たれているのは言わずもがなですが、同時に（状況次第では）割と狭苦しい、という印象は否めません。部屋はかなりコンパクトに設えられており、多くの場合ベッド脇にある机が、入口すぐのところに設置されている場合もあります。大きなスーツケースを床に広げる領域は何とか確保できるものの、一度広げると部屋内の移動にかなりの窮屈さを覚えるでしょう。同じくバスルームも広くはありません。
ロビー及びエレベーターホールは、「実はかなりの小規模なホテルでは！？」と訝ってしまうくらいの狭さでした。勿論、人がすれ違えるだけの余裕はありますが、宅配するための荷物がエレベーターホール前に多数置かれると、それだけでかなりの窮屈さを覚えます。
とは言え、それ以外に注意すべき点はほとんど無く、スタッフは一様に丁寧な接客対応でした。近隣にはコンビニエンスストアーや飲食店が多いため、少なくとも食事や食料調達に困ることはありません。

This business hotel is located very close to Asahibashi Station and the Naha Bus Terminal, making it an excellent base for traveling to and from Naha Airport, exploring Naha City via the Yui Rail, or taking highway buses to more distant parts of Okinawa’s main island.
Both the lobby and guest rooms are clean, as expected. However, they can feel somewhat cramped depending on the situation. The rooms are quite compact, and in some cases, the desk next to the bed is positioned right near the entrance. While there is just enough space to open a large suitcase on the floor, doing so can make it quite difficult to move around the room. The bathroom is also relatively small.
The lobby and elevator hall are also quite narrow - small enough to make you wonder if the hotel itself is quite compact. While there is enough space for people to pass each other, the area can quickly feel crowded if packages or luggage for delivery are placed near the elevators.
That said, there are few other drawbacks. The staff are consistently polite and helpful. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so you should have no trouble finding meals or daily necessities.

篠山城跡の敷地のほぼ中央に位置する建物で、天守とは異なる堂々たる威厳を持ちながらも、公的行事を取り仕切るに相応しい雅やかな雰囲気を漂わせている。
建物内の梁や柱の木材はやや新しめの印象を受けるだろう。1944年に焼失したものの、江戸中期の間取り図が残されていたことから、それを元に2000年初頭に復元された。実用性を重視した間取りのようで、多くの部屋はシンプルながらも謁見等で使用される部屋は美しい調度品や襖絵が設えられているなど、復元されたものであるとしても当時の面影を感じ取ることが出来る。
床板は夏場でも比較的ひんやりとした感触であるため、スリッパを着用して建物内を周回することをお勧めする。
隣接する資料館には、代々藩主の遺品等が展示されており、当時の面影を知ることが出来る。

This building stands near the center of the former Sasayama Castle grounds. While it has a dignified presence distinct from a castle keep, it also carries an elegant atmosphere befitting a place where official ceremonies were once conducted.
The wooden beams and pillars inside may appear relatively new. The original structure was destroyed by fire in 1944, but because floor plans from the mid-Edo period had been preserved, the building was faithfully reconstructed in the early 2000s based on those records. The layout emphasizes practicality: many rooms are simple in design, while those used for formal audiences are adorned with beautiful furnishings and sliding door paintings, allowing visitors to sense the atmosphere of the time despite the reconstruction.
The wooden floors feel relatively cool even in summer, so it's recommended to wear slippers when walking inside the building.
In the adjacent museum, personal belongings of successive feudal lords are displayed, offering further insight into the history and lifestyle of the period.

横浜駅東口の地下にあるショッピングモールにあるレストランの一つです。たっぷり盛り付けられたワンタンとすっきりした塩味もしくは醤油味のスープが定評のラーメン店として広く展開されているため、ショッピングモール内のレストランでもひときわ高い人気を誇り、平日・休日問わず昼食・夕食時間帯は大混雑します。安定的に並ばず入れる時間帯は、15時〜17時くらいを見込んでおります。
提供される料理の質及び種類は、他の広州市場と遜色ないように思います。いずれの広州市場も、中華系のスタッフを多く雇っているように見かけますが、このお店は他の店よりその比率が高いように感じます。やや素っ気無くマニュアル通りの動きのように見られるものの、日本語を含むコミュニケーションには特段問題無いように思いました。
カウンター席・テーブル席共に席数は多く、各テーブル間の仕切りも無く（時間帯によりますが）大人数グループでも利用できると思います。出入口には段差が無いため車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用できますが、通路はやや狭めであることに注意が必要です。

This restaurant is located in an underground shopping mall at the East Exit of Yokohama Station. It's part of a well-known ramen chain famous for its generously portioned wontons and light, clean-tasting soups (either salt-based or soy sauce-based). As a result, it's one of the most popular restaurants in the mall and becomes very crowded during both lunch and dinner hours on weekdays and weekends alike. If you want to avoid waiting, the best time to visit is roughly between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
The quality and variety of the dishes are consistent with other Koshu Ichiba locations. Like other branches, many of the staff appear to be of Chinese background, and this location seems to have a particularly high proportion. While their service style may feel somewhat straightforward and procedural, communication - including in Japanese - does not present any significant issues.
There are plenty of both counter and table seats, and there are no partitions between tables, making it suitable for larger groups depending on the time of day. The entrance is step-free, making it accessible for wheelchair users; however, the aisles inside are somewhat narrow, so some care may be needed when moving around.

外観やロビー、客室のところどころにやや古めかしさを感じるものの、典型的な造りながら安定したサービスを提供するビジネスホテルです。客室はじめ全てのフロアは清潔に保たれていますが、客室はやや狭い、という印象です。大きめのスーツケースの場合、広げて荷物を整理するにはやや心許ないと感じるでしょう。
盛岡駅から徒歩1〜2分程度と近く、また周辺にはレストランやコンビニエンスストアも多いため、食事や食料の調達には特に不自由はしないと思います。一方で駅に隣接する商業施設内のレストランは深夜営業しておらず、居酒屋以外の飲食店も21時までにはほとんど閉まるため、夜間の食事は目的によってはやや不自由に感じるかもしれません。
他の東横INNと同様に、1階のロビーで宿泊者限定の無料の朝食サービスを利用することが出来ますが、食事用スペースとロビーの境界が曖昧で、特に多くの宿泊客がいる週末等では、食事用がロビーに浸潤し、チェックアウトの手続きの妨げになる場合があります。とは言え、スタッフは一同親切且つ丁寧であるため、確実に諸手続きが出来るよう取り計らってくれると思います。

All areas, including the guest rooms, are kept clean, but the rooms themselves feel a bit compact. If you have a large suitcase, you may find it slightly difficult to fully open it and organize your belongings.
The hotel is very conveniently located, just a 1-2 minute walk from Morioka Station. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so finding meals or daily necessities is generally not a problem. However, restaurants inside the station complex do not stay open late, and most non-izakaya dining options close by around 9 PM, so late-night dining choices may be somewhat limited depending on your needs.
As with other Toyoko Inn hotels, guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast served in the lobby on the first floor. However, the boundary between the dining area and the lobby is somewhat unclear, and during busy times - especially on weekends - the dining area can spill over into the lobby, occasionally interfering with the checkout process. That said, the staff are consistently polite and helpful, and will assist you to ensure a smooth experience.

鳥居や、境内の拝殿等の建物の柱や梁の鮮やかな朱色が遠くからでも印象的に映える神社です。榛原駅から徒歩10分程度のところにあるためアクセスは良いものの、神社の南側は山、周辺は特に密集した住宅街ではないため、祭事の無い限り休日でも閑散としており、終始静謐な雰囲気で満たされているように感じます。高い建物も無く、山から吹き降りる風が心地よく感じられると思います。
境内自体はそれ程広くなく、周遊するだけであれば30分と要しません。ところどころ階段が設けられているものの、スロープが設置されている箇所もあるため、部分的ではありますが車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に参拝できると思います。
境内の奥には、ご神水『波動水』が古くからこんこんと湧き出ており、奈良県の『やまとの水』にも認定された名水です。湧き出る水、山間の木々を抜ける風など、人の営みの近くにある神社ながら爽やかな自然の恵みを感じ取れる神社の一つだと思います。

It’s located about a 10-minute walk from Haibara Station, making it relatively accessible. However, the southern side of the shrine borders the mountains, and the surrounding area is not densely residential. As a result, unless a festival or special event is taking place, the shrine tends to be quiet even on weekends, creating a calm and solemn atmosphere throughout. With no tall buildings nearby, the breeze descending from the mountains often feels particularly refreshing.
The shrine precincts themselves are not very large; walking around the entire area takes less than 30 minutes. While there are stairs in several places, ramps are also installed in certain sections. Although not everywhere, this partial accessibility means that visitors using wheelchairs or with mobility impairments may still be able to visit the shrine with relative ease.
Toward the back of the precincts, sacred spring water known as "Hado-sui" has been continuously flowing from the earth since ancient times. This spring has also been recognized as one of Nara Prefecture’s notable waters under the designation "Yamato no Mizu". The flowing spring water and the wind passing through the mountain trees allow visitors to experience a sense of refreshing natural blessings, even though the shrine is located close to everyday human activity.

地下鉄東山線の終点『藤が丘駅』より徒歩2〜3分程度のところにあるビジネスホテルです。地下鉄の終点とは言え名古屋駅から30分程度であり、名古屋や栄まで乗り換えなしでアクセス出来るため、立地的に決して利用しづらいとは言えないと思います。
ホテル周辺は比較的静かであり、駅周辺にはスーパーやコンビニエンスストアもあるため、食料の調達にはまず困りません。ホテルや駅周辺にも飲食店はあるものの、種類の豊富さや軒数は名古屋駅や栄の方が多いです。主だった食事はそのあたりで済ませても、23時台まで電車があるのでアクセス面でも非常に便利と感じるでしょう。
客室は清潔に保たれているのは言わずもがな、無駄に装飾されておらずとてもシンプルで、大きなスーツケースを開いて荷物整理が出来る程、部屋の広さには余裕が見られます。一方でバスルームは狭く、人によってはかなり窮屈に感じるかもしれません。男性向けは2階に、女性向けは1階に大浴場があるのでそこを利用するといいかもしれません（客室に備え付けのテレビモニターで、大浴場の混雑状況を確認出来るのも便利です）。
スタッフの接客対応も概ね好評と、非常に利用しやすいホテルではある一方、エレベーター2基ではやや心許ない、という印象です。安全対策の設計の関係上からか、昇降速度は比較的遅めで、収容力はある方だとは思いますが特に朝のチェックアウト時は大きなスーツケースを持つ客で占拠されがちで、低階層で宿泊した客は何度も乗れずに待たされ続けることもしばしばあります。特に朝のチェックアウトを急いでいる人は注意した方がいいかもしれません。

This business hotel is located about a 2-3 minute walk from Fujigaoka Station, the terminal station of the Higashiyama Subway Line. Although it's the end of the line, it takes only about 30 minutes to reach Nagoya Station, and you can access both Nagoya and Sakae directly without transfers, making the location quite convenient.
The surrounding area is relatively quiet, and there are supermarkets and convenience stores near the station, so it's easy to find food and daily necessities. While there are some restaurants around the hotel and station, the variety and number are greater in central areas like Nagoya Station and Sakae. However, trains run until around 11 PM, so it's still very convenient to dine in those areas and return afterward.
The guest rooms are clean, simple, and not overly decorated. They are spacious enough to fully open a large suitcase and organize your belongings comfortably. On the other hand, the bathroom is quite compact and may feel cramped for some guests. There are public baths (large communal baths) available - one for men on the second floor and one for women on the first floor - which may be a better option. It's also convenient that you can check the crowd status of the baths via the TV in your room.
The staff are generally well-regarded for their service, and overall the hotel is very easy to use. However, the presence of only two elevators can be a drawback. Possibly due to safety design, they operate relatively slowly. While they have decent capacity, they tend to become crowded - especially during morning checkout hours - often filled with guests carrying large suitcases. Guests staying on lower floors may find themselves waiting multiple times before being able to board. Those in a hurry during checkout should be aware of this.

大型商業施設に隣接する都市型の水族館で、全ての水棲生物（フクロウやナマケモノ等、一部陸上生物も展示されています）が屋内で鑑賞出来るよう、水槽や展示スペースが整備されています。
建物の構造上、美ら海水族館等で見られるような巨大な水槽は無く、この水族館ならではの珍しく注目の的となる動物は居ません。イルカやアシカのショーといったものもありませんが、その代わりこの水族館の大きな特徴として、『動物とのふれあい』のコーナーが多いということ、（厳重な管理を前提とした）一部の陸上生物の展示において鑑賞者を隔てるガラスが無く（柵はあります）、展示動物のまとう雰囲気や息遣いを感じ取りやすいこと、というのがあります。
このような展示方法は、特に子供たちに非常に好かれやすい水族館と言えると思います。一方で、いくら触れあいしやすい展示方法とは言え、動物にとって触れられ続けることはストレスの要因にもなるため、大人数での利用には向かない水族館のように思います（修学旅行等での利用には向かないでしょう）。加えて一部の展示スペースはやや入り組んだ通路構造になっているため、迷子にならないように注意が必要です。
例えふれあいをしなくても、（規模は小さめながらも）周遊するだけで1時間以上楽しめる水族館であると思います。

This is an urban aquarium located next to a large commercial complex. All exhibits are indoors, allowing visitors to view aquatic life comfortably. In addition to aquatic species, some land animals - such as owls and sloths - are also displayed.
Due to the building's structure, there are no massive tanks like those found at aquariums such as Churaumi Aquarium, and there are no particularly rare or headline animals unique to this facility. There are also no dolphin or sea lion shows. Instead, one of the aquarium's defining features is the large number of interactive exhibits where visitors can have close contact with animals. In some of the land animal displays (under strict supervision), there is no glass barrier - only fences - allowing visitors to better sense the animals’ presence and even their breathing.
This style of exhibition is especially appealing to children. However, even with controlled interaction, frequent contact can be stressful for the animals, so the aquarium may not be well-suited for large groups (such as school trips). Additionally, some exhibit areas have slightly complex, maze-like pathways, so visitors should take care not to get separated.
Even without participating in the interactive experiences, the aquarium can be enjoyed for over an hour simply by walking through, despite its relatively compact size.

醒井宿の東端、宿場町を流れる地蔵川の水が湧く『居醒の清水』があるところに鎮座する神社です。宿場町自体祝日でも静かなのですが、この神社はその東端であるため参拝に訪れる人は少なく、また空気も爽やかでとても静謐な雰囲気を醸し出しています。
拝殿まで階段を登る必要があり、またやや急であるため、昇降は充分な注意が必要であるように思います。境内は広くなく、周遊するだけであれば30分と要しません。さらに拝殿前には登り切った参拝客向けの休憩用ベンチも無いため、足腰に不安のある方は昇降を控えた方がいいかもしれません。
とは言え、清らかな水がこんこんと溢れ出る様は、まさに水を祀る神社ならでは、と感じるでしょう。醒井宿散策のスポットの一つとして訪れるといいでしょう。

This shrine is located at the eastern end of Samegai-juku, near Isame-no-Shimizu, a natural spring where the waters of the Jizogawa River originate.
While the post town itself remains quiet even on holidays, this shrine - being at the far eastern edge - receives relatively few visitors. The atmosphere is exceptionally tranquil, with fresh air that enhances its serene and almost sacred ambiance.
To reach the main hall, visitors must climb a set of stairs, which are somewhat steep, so caution is advised when going up and down. The shrine precincts are not large and can be fully explored in less than 30 minutes. Additionally, there are no benches near the main hall for resting after the climb, so those with concerns about mobility may want to reconsider ascending.
That said, the sight of pure spring water continuously welling up from the ground is truly remarkable and fitting for a shrine dedicated to water. It's well worth including as one of the stops when exploring Samegai-juku.

爽やかな水色の外壁・内壁が印象的な、街中のおしゃれなカフェです。その外観や内装からややガーリーなカフェ、という印象を受けますが、派手さや華美な装飾はほとんど無く、一部の席に設えられているクッションがいい感じにカフェの雰囲気のアクセントとなっています。一方、ソファ席はやや座面の高さが低く、座面のクッションはふかふかしていて座り心地はいい一方、腰を痛めている人は避けた方がいいかもしれません。
このカフェのイチオシが、ココット型のスフレです。外側は程よくサクサクした食感ですが、内側は一般的なスフレよりもとろけるような柔らかさで、甘さも控えめでクリームなどのトッピングにも非常にマッチし、最後まで美味しくいただけると思います。一方でスフレは熱々の状態で給仕されるため、猫舌の人はやや注意が必要です。トッピングにはイチゴジャムやキャラメルソースといった定番のものもありますが、丹羽の黒豆といったこの地域の特産の農産物が使用されているものもあり、それはスフレ以外の料理にも反映されています。いずれの料理も丁寧に拵えられており、最後まで美味しくいただけると思います。
私が利用した時には老夫婦が注文・調理・給仕・会計を遣り繰りしていました。空いている時間帯であっても注文から給仕までやや時間を要します。とは言え接客は朴訥としていながらも丁寧で好印象でした。
このカフェを車で訪問する場合は要注意です。駐車場のサインはあるものの、実際は1〜2台程度しかスペースが無く、しかもあたかも私有地内（民家の玄関先）に設えられたかのうような駐車スペースです。色々な意味で利用しづらいと感じるかもしれません。他の規模の大きめの駐車スペースに停めてから利用した方がいいかもしれません。加えて、出入口の扉は手動開閉式であるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方はやや利用しづらいと感じるかもしれません。

This stylish cafe stands out in town for its refreshing light-blue exterior and interior walls. From the outside and at first glance, it may appear somewhat "girly", but the décor is actually quite restrained, with little flashy ornamentation. Cushions placed on some seats provide subtle accents that enhance the cafe's atmosphere. The sofa seating is comfortable thanks to its soft cushions, but the seat height is rather low; people with lower-back problems may want to avoid those seats.
The cafe's signature item is its cocotte-style soufflé. The outside has a pleasantly crisp texture, while the inside is even softer and more melt-in-the-mouth than typical soufflés. The sweetness is moderate, which pairs very well with toppings such as cream. Because of this balance, the dessert remains enjoyable to the very last bite. However, the soufflé is served piping hot, so visitors who are sensitive to hot food should be careful. Standard toppings like strawberry jam and caramel sauce are available, but some options use local agricultural products such as Tamba black soybeans, a regional specialty. This use of local ingredients is also reflected in other dishes on the menu. Overall, the food is carefully prepared and consistently satisfying.
When I visited, an elderly couple appeared to be handling everything - from taking orders and cooking to serving and payment. Even during quieter hours, it may take a little time between placing an order and receiving your food. That said, their service was modest yet polite, leaving a positive impression.
Visitors arriving by car should be aware of the parking situation. Although there is a sign indicating parking, the actual space only accommodates about one or two cars, and it almost looks as if the spaces are located within a private residential area. For various reasons, it may feel somewhat difficult to use. It may be easier to park in a larger nearby parking area and walk to the café instead. In addition, the entrance door must be opened manually, which may make access somewhat inconvenient for visitors using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.

園内の池（安場池）を境に、北と南で印象がガラっと異なる公園のように思います。
池の南側は体育館が併設しているからか、広場を含め比較的開放的な空間として設計されており、アップダウンも少なく犬の散歩や鬼ごっこ等で遊ぶ子供の姿をよく見かけます。
池の東側にある小高い丘も開放的な雰囲気の空間に設えられていますが、一方で池より北側は木々が鬱蒼としてやや薄暗く、それはローラー滑り台周辺も同様の印象を与えます。良く晴れた日であれば別ですが、曇りの日だとその薄暗さが少し怖い印象を与えるかもしれません。それもあってか、近隣に住む子供たちも、公園の南側で遊ぶ姿を見かけますが、北側は（例え遊具があっても）あまり遊んでいる姿を見かけないように思います。
園内の小路も周回するような造りではないため、ジョギング目的での利用には向いていないように思います。思い思いに散歩したり休憩したりする目的で利用する公園のように思います。

The park feels quite different on its north and south sides, divided by the central pond (Yasuba Pond).
The southern side, possibly because it includes a gymnasium, is designed as a relatively open and spacious area. The terrain is mostly flat, and you’ll often see people walking their dogs or children playing games like tag.
There is also a small hill on the eastern side of the pond with a similarly open atmosphere. In contrast, the northern side of the park is densely wooded and somewhat dim. This is especially noticeable around the roller slide area. On sunny days it may not feel as pronounced, but on cloudy days the dimness can give a slightly eerie impression. Perhaps because of this, local children are more often seen playing on the southern side, while the northern side tends to be quieter - even though it does have playground equipment.
The pathways in the park are not designed for continuous loops, so it may not be ideal for jogging. Instead, it seems better suited for leisurely walks or taking a break and relaxing at your own pace.

甲斐の戦国武将、武田氏の居館であった『躑躅ヶ崎館』の跡地に建立された神社である。創建年は1919年（大正8年）と、神社としては比較的新しい。
甲府駅のほぼ真北に位置し、駅から約2kmの距離があるため徒歩でも30分程度要する。基本的に車かバスなどの公共交通機関を利用するが、天気が良ければ甲府市街地を散策したり博物館にも訪れながらアクセスするのもいい。
史跡としても非常に有名であるものの、境内そのものは思ったほど広くはないと感じるかもしれない。境内を周遊するだけであれば1時間程度であるが、石垣を含む、ところどころに武田氏の居間の遺構があるため、往年に思いを馳せながら散策したり宝物館に訪れたりすると、2時間をゆうに超えるかもしれない。それらの遺構には案内板が設置されているが、ほぼ全てにおいて日本語で示されているため、海外からの観光客はやや楽しみづらいと感じるかもしれない。
甲府市を代表する神社であるだけに、平日休日問わず多くの人が参拝する。とは言え、祭事の無い平日であれば境内は混雑する程の人の入りではないため、ゆったりと散策することが出来ると思う。
桜の季節は薄紅色、紅葉の季節は鮮やかな朱色に境内は染まるが、勿論その分多くの参拝客や観光客が訪れる。敷地の外の堀に沿って軒を連ねる飲食店や土産物店も、そのような季節の只中はどこも大混雑する。少なくとも水筒等水分を摂れるものを携帯して訪れた方がいいかもしれない。

This shrine was built on the site of Tsutsujigasaki Residence, the former fortified residence of the Takeda clan, powerful warlords of Kai Province during Japan’s Sengoku period. The shrine itself was established in 1919, making it relatively new compared with many other historical shrines in Japan.
It is located almost directly north of Kofu Station, about 2 km away, so walking from the station takes roughly 30 minutes. Most visitors arrive by car or by bus, but on a pleasant day it can also be enjoyable to walk through the city of Kōfu, stopping at museums or exploring the town along the way.
Although the site is historically famous, visitors may feel that the shrine grounds themselves are not as large as expected. Simply walking around the precincts may take about one hour, but there are several remaining structures and stone walls from the Takeda residence scattered throughout the area. If you explore these remains while imagining the history of the clan, or visit the treasure museum, you may easily spend more than two hours here. Informational signs explaining the historical features are installed throughout the grounds, but most are written only in Japanese, which may make it slightly more difficult for international visitors to fully appreciate the details.
As one of the most representative shrines in Kofu, it attracts many worshippers and visitors on both weekdays and weekends. However, on weekdays without festivals or special events, the grounds are generally not crowded, allowing visitors to stroll around at a relaxed pace.
During cherry blossom season, the grounds are colored in soft pink, while in autumn the foliage turns brilliant shades of red. Naturally, these beautiful seasons also bring many tourists and worshippers. The restaurants and souvenir shops lined up along the moat outside the shrine grounds can become extremely busy during these peak periods. It may be wise to bring a bottle of water or something to stay hydrated when visiting, especially during crowded seasons.

牧歌的な洋館が目印のカフェです。外壁こそ白いものの、店内は落ち着いた雰囲気と想像できますが、その想像の通り、木調の調度品にやや暗めの照明、ところどころにアンティークが飾られ、重厚ながら落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出す弦楽器のBGMが流れており、とても居心地のいい雰囲気が醸し出されています。カップやソーサーも非常に品性を感じ、こだわりを持つところにはとことんこだわる、という姿勢が垣間見えます。
メニューは至ってシンプルで、主に様々な産地・味のコーヒー豆を自家焙煎したコーヒーと、紅茶、ココア、そしてケーキのみです。ご夫婦と思われるお二人で注文・給仕・会計等を遣り繰りしていますが、シンプルなメニューだからこそ接客対応に余裕が見られ、終始良好でした。地元で愛されるカフェでもあるため、常連さんが足繁く通いご夫婦とお喋りするところも見かけますが、だからと言って他の客を蔑ろにするところは全くありませんでした。
いずれのコーヒーも非常に香り豊かで、どちらかと言えばややコクのあるコーヒー豆を多く取り揃えているような印象ですが、好みやその日の気分等を言えば、お勧めのコーヒーを提供してくれます。唐津散策の一休憩にピッタリのカフェだと思います。
出入口の扉は手動であるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方はやや不便に感じるかもしれません。利用する際は、事前にカフェに問い合わせをした方がよさそうです。

This cafe is easily recognizable by its pastoral-style Western mansion exterior. Although the outer walls are white, the interior matches what you might imagine: a calm, refined atmosphere with wooden furnishings, slightly dim lighting, antique decorations placed throughout, and background music featuring string instruments that creates a dignified yet soothing ambiance. The cups and saucers are also notably elegant, reflecting a meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the experience.
The menu is simple and focused. It primarily offers house-roasted coffee made from beans sourced from various regions with different flavor profiles, along with tea, cocoa, and cake. The cafe appears to be run by a husband-and-wife team who manage ordering, serving, and payment themselves. Perhaps because of the streamlined menu, their service feels relaxed and attentive, and interactions were consistently pleasant. As a café beloved by locals, regular customers often stop by and chat with the owners; however, this never seemed to result in other guests being neglected.
All of the coffees are highly aromatic. The selection appears to lean slightly toward fuller-bodied beans, but if you describe your preferences or mood, they will recommend a suitable option. It's an ideal place to take a break while exploring Karatsu.
The entrance door is manual, which may pose some inconvenience for wheelchair users or guests with mobility challenges. It would be advisable to contact the cafe in advance if accessibility is a concern.

奈良市街の東向商店街にあるうどん専門店です。商店街であるためこのレストラン以外にも多数のレストランがありますが、人気店であるため、開店から30分程度であればすぐに入店し客席に着席することが出来ますが、それを過ぎるとほぼ満席になり、待ちの列に加わることを余儀なくされます。商店街は平日休日問わず（特に夕食時間帯は）人の往来が多く、基本的には店外で待ちの行列が出来ますが、その列が他のレストランへ影響が出てしまう場合、店内に入るよう促されることがあります。
店内はそれほど広くなく、ほぼカウンター席のみです（テーブル席もありますが、見たところ2人用のみでした）。空いている時間帯であればカウンター席後ろの通路は人がすれ違えるほどの幅はありますが、混雑すると待ちの行列で埋まり、かなり狭苦しく感じるでしょう。
一方で、このレストランで提供されるうどんは、そうまでしてでも一度は食べてみたいものだと感じました。盛り付けこそいずれの料理も典型的で奇を衒ったところはありませんが、喉越しのいいつるつる感ともちもちした食感、汁に沈んでいたうどんは得てしてうどんの表層部が解け、食感の劣化や汁に交ざりあい雑味が増えるものですが、このレストランのうどんはそのようなことが全くと言っていい程なく、汁も最後までスッキリとした味わいで堪能することが出来ると思います。
前述の通り人気店であるため、特に予約を入れていないのであれば、夕食時間帯の開店直後に訪問するといいでしょう。今どきの装いや髪の色に染めた若い女性がスタッフとして働く様子も見られましたが、程よい距離感で丁寧に接客していたように見受けられました。

This is a specialty udon restaurant located in the Higashimuki Shopping Street in central Nara. As it's situated within a busy arcade lined with many other dining options, there are plenty of alternatives nearby. However, this shop is particularly popular. If you arrive within about 30 minutes of opening, you can usually be seated without much difficulty. After that, it tends to fill up quickly and you will likely have to join a waiting line.
The shopping street is busy on both weekdays and weekends - especially during dinner hours - and the line generally forms outside. If the queue begins to interfere with neighboring restaurants, staff may ask waiting customers to step inside and line up there instead.
The interior is not very large and consists mostly of counter seating (there are a few tables, but they appear to be for two people only). During quieter times, the aisle behind the counter is wide enough for people to pass each other. When crowded, however, the waiting line can fill this space, making the restaurant feel quite cramped.
That said, the udon served here feels well worth the wait. The presentation is straightforward and traditional, without gimmicks. What stands out is the texture: the noodles are smooth and pleasantly slippery, yet retain a satisfying chewiness. In many udon shops, noodles sitting in hot broth can gradually soften on the surface, losing texture and slightly clouding the soup. Here, that deterioration is hardly noticeable. The broth remains clean and well-defined in flavor until the very last sip.
As mentioned, this is a popular restaurant, so unless you have a reservation (if available), it's advisable to visit right after opening for dinner. Some of the staff appeared to be young women with modern fashion and hair colors, but they provided polite and attentive service while maintaining an appropriate distance.

御徒町駅南口にあるラーメン横丁に軒を連ねるラーメン店の1つです。ラーメン横丁では、他の店は割と短期間に入れ替わったりするものの、この店は長く店を構えているようで、勿論その評価通り、安定した味・香り・麺の食感のラーメンを食べることが出来ます。奇を衒ったところが無く、記憶に強く残る特徴的な味、というものは見当たりませんが、だからこそ、あれこれと考えたり憂慮する必要はなく、食べている間や食後にはほっこりとした気分になれると思います。給仕されたままのスープの味付けでも充分にコクがありますが、好みに応じて柚子胡椒を入れることで、より引き締まった味付けになると思います。
ラーメンとつけ麺が提供されますが、コシのあるやや縮れた、スープと良く絡むラーメンは定評があるものの、つけ麺は賛否が分かれます。コシは確かにあるのですが喉越しをよくしたからか逆にややスープが絡みづらいように感じ、『麺をスープに漬ける』作業の繰り返しでスープの味がややぼやけるところにあるのかもしれません。
出入口付近に設置されている券売機で予め食券を購入する必要があります。客席はカウンター席で構成されているものの、席数は多めであるため、（空いている時間帯であれば）10人程度のグループでも利用可能だと思います。席の後ろの通路は広めに確保されているものの、出入口に段差があるため、車椅子等の障碍を持った方はやや利用しづらいと感じるかもしれません。
（空いている時間帯に利用したからかもしれませんが）スタッフは、程よく距離を保ちつつの良好な接客対応でした。

This is one of the ramen restaurants located in the "Ramen Yokocho" near the South Exit of Okachimachi Station. While other shops in the alley tend to change relatively frequently, this one appears to have operated there for quite some time. As its longevity suggests, you can expect a stable, well-balanced bowl of ramen with consistent flavor, aroma, and noodle texture.
There is nothing overly gimmicky or unusually distinctive about the taste, nor is it the kind of flavor that leaves a dramatic impression. However, that is precisely its appeal: you can enjoy it without overthinking, and it leaves you feeling comfortably satisfied during and after the meal. The soup is rich and flavorful as served, but adding a bit of Yuzu Kosho (a citrus chili paste) can sharpen and tighten the overall taste to suit your preference.
Both ramen and tsukemen (dipping noodles) are available. The ramen, featuring slightly curly noodles with good firmness that hold the soup well, is generally well regarded. The tsukemen, however, tends to divide opinion. While the noodles are indeed firm, their smooth texture - perhaps intended to improve throat feel - can make it slightly harder for the soup to cling to them. Repeatedly dipping the noodles may gradually dilute the impact of the broth’s flavor.
You must first purchase a meal ticket from the vending machine near the entrance. Seating consists entirely of counter seats, but there are a relatively large number of them, so during off-peak hours even a group of around 10 people could likely be accommodated. The aisle behind the seats is reasonably wide; however, there is a step at the entrance, which may make access somewhat difficult for wheelchair users or those with mobility impairments.
Perhaps because I visited during a quieter period, the staff provided attentive service while maintaining an appropriate and comfortable distance.

中延駅から徒歩10分程度の、住宅街にある神社です。神社の境内としては小さいものの、意外にも境内には大小様々なご利益スポットがあるため、予備知識が全く無い人でも気軽に参拝できる神社だと思います。ある種の楽しめる小スポットが散りばめられていますが、周辺は住宅街で、且つ小学校と隣接しているため、静かに参拝すべきです。
境内には、ところどころに『白蛇』にまつわる像や社が建てられているものの、見過ごされがちではありますがこの神社の特筆すべきところは、東京の住宅地であるにもかかわらず水が済んでいるところです。境内には『龍』にまつわる神社や像もあり、龍も蛇も水の眷属であることから、この神社が如何に永きに渡り水を大切にしていたかがよく分かります。
見どころの多い神社ではあるものの、境内自体は小さいため、境内の参拝路もところどころかなり狭いところがあります。そういったところは基本的に一方通行であり、進路標識も備わっています。特に白蛇辯財天社では、参拝時に『白蛇種銭の銭回し』や『白蛇清水銭洗い』といった作法がありますが、常にスタッフがいるためやり方を教えてもらえます。またこの作法をしなくても単に神社を周遊するだけであれば可能です。
他の神社にはあまり見られない神社の謂れや参拝方法の体験を得ることが出来ると思います。

This shrine is located in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from Nakanobu Station. Although the grounds are relatively small for a shrine, there are surprisingly many spots associated with different blessings, making it easy to visit even without prior knowledge. Small, somewhat playful points of interest are scattered throughout the precincts. However, as the area is residential and adjacent to an elementary school, visitors should behave quietly and respectfully.
Within the grounds, you will find several statues and small sub-shrines dedicated to the "White Snake". On the other hand, one of the most notable aspects of this shrine is the clarity of its water - quite remarkable given its location in a residential area of Tokyo. There are also shrines and statues associated with dragons. Since both dragons and snakes are traditionally regarded as water deities or attendants of water in Japanese belief, the site reflects a long-standing reverence for water.
Although there are many points of interest, the precinct itself is compact, and some of the worship paths are quite narrow. These sections are generally one-way, and directional signs are provided. At the Hakujya Benzaiten sub-shrine, there are specific rituals such as "coin-turning with a white snake lucky coin" and "washing money in sacred white snake water". Staff members are usually present and can explain the procedures. Of course, if you prefer, you may simply walk around and pay your respects without taking part in these rituals.
Overall, this shrine offers visitors a chance to experience origin stories and worship practices that are not commonly found at other shrines.
