日本100名城の一つですが、名古屋城や大坂城を始めとするいわゆる見応えのある史跡を期待するのは避けた方がいいでしょう。敷地内の史跡は全て復元されたもので、現在も発掘調査が行われており、敷地内の一部は立ち入ることが出来ません。一方で、城にまつわる史料も少ないですが、出来る限り史実に基づいた復元作業が行われており、往時の土地の構造や活用方法を学ぶ上では非常に有用なものとなっています。
随所に史跡の説明が記載されている案内がありますが、全て日本語で記載されており、海外からの観光客にとってはかなり分かりづらいでしょう。敷地内は無料で入ることが出来ますが、夜間は利用できません。さらに中央部の本丸御殿広場は立ち入られる時間が制限されています。
春になると園内の桜が見事に咲き誇ります。

In spring, the cherry blossoms in the park are in full bloom.

浦和駅のホームの高架下にあるラーメン店ですが、電車の騒音や振動等は全くと言っていいほど感じられません。しかし店内は狭く、カウンター席と僅かなテーブル席の10席程度の席数であるため、大人数での利用には適しません。入口が駅前の通りに面しているため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や大きな荷物を持つ人にも利用しやすいですが、店内の狭さゆえに少し利用しづらいと感じるかもしれません。
入口入って左の券売機で食券を購入するスタイルです。スタッフの接客応対は可も無く不可も無く。一方の給仕される料理はいずれも味付け・盛り付け両方とも洗練されており、味だけでなく見た目も楽しめます。スープはクリーミーですが決して濃すぎず後を引きすぎるようなことがありません。麺の食感も素晴らしく、具材も適度に温められており、細部にこだわりを感じます。その分、給仕にやや時間を要することに注意が必要です。

1階から3階の3階構成で、昇降は階段のみ。そのため車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や大きな荷物を持つ方は1階のフロアを利用することになりますが、1階は席数が10席にも満たず、座席の高さも高めに設定されているため、座りにくい印象を持つでしょう。加えてところどころ設備の古さが見受けられます。座席やテーブルの金属部分に錆があったり、窓から隙間風が入りやすい、といったところが挙げられます。一方でお喋りをしながらくつろぐ客は少なく、1人もしくは少人数で静かに過ごすには心地よいカフェかもしれません。

姫路駅に直結するショッピングモール『ピオレ姫路』の1階にあるフードコートに出店しているレストランで、加古川のB級グルメ『かつめし』を堪能することが出来ます。各地にあるフードコートと同様に注文カウンターで注文と支払いを先に済ませた後、専用の装置を渡されます。料理が完成すると装置のブザーが鳴ります。配膳及び食後の食器の返却は客が行います。
見た目は、いわばソースカツ丼がプレートに盛りつけられたようなもので、基本的に箸で食べます。デミグラスソースは濃すぎず薄すぎず程よい味付けですが、肝心の肉がやや薄目で肉と衣の間がスカスカな箇所が多く見られました。恐らく事前に下拵えされたものを保存し、注文の際に温め直しや揚げ直しされたものと思われます。多くの人が行き来するフードコートでは、如何に多くの客を捌くかがポイントとなるため、食感をやや犠牲にした感じが否めません。
フードコートであるため指定されたスペース内であればどこで着席して食べてもOKですが、このレストランの注文カウンター付近は水を自身で注ぐ場所から遠いところであることに注意が必要です。

This restaurant is located in the food court on the first floor of Piole Himeji, a shopping mall directly connected to Himeji Station, where you can enjoy Kakogawa's B-grade gourmet "Katsumeshi". The customer is responsible for serving the food and returning the dishes after the meal.
It looks like a sauce katsu-don served on a plate, and is basically eaten with chopsticks. The demi-glace sauce was well seasoned, not too thick and not too thin, but the meat was a little thin, and there were many places where the meat and batter were too thin. The meat was probably prepared in advance, stored, and then reheated or re-fried when ordered. In a food court where many people come and go, the key is to handle as many customers as possible, so I can't deny that the texture was sacrificed a little.
As it is a food court, you can sit and eat anywhere within the designated space, but be aware that the area near the order counter of this restaurant is far from the place where you can pour your own water.

出羽山形藩の初代藩主で、最上家の全盛期を築き上げた最上義光の、波乱に満ちた生涯を様々な史料から観賞することが出来る博物館です。
博物館としての規模はそれほど大きくありませんが、展示されている史料は豊富で、全てのじっくり観賞すると少なくとも1時間を要します。戦国の武将としての様々な合戦の記録だけでなく、文化人としての素養も極めて卓越しており、最上義光の人となりを多彩な方面から学ぶことが出来ます。合戦で身に纏った甲冑や兜だけでなく、甥の伊達政宗に宛てた書状、連歌作品も数多く展示されており、最上義光とそれに纏わる人との関係性や歴史的背景を深く知りたい人にはもってこいでしょう。一方で愛娘である駒姫の悲劇に纏わる資料も展示されており、決して順風満帆ではない人生を垣間見ることが出来ます。
無料で拝観できます。一部の史料は英語の説明が併記されていますが、ほぼ日本語のみの展示です。フロアは1階のみであるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でもストレスなく利用できます。

This is a museum where visitors can learn about the tumultuous life of Yoshiaki Mogami, the first lord of the Dewa Yamagata clan and the founder of the Mogami family in its heyday, through a variety of historical materials.
The museum is not very large in size, but there is a wealth of historical documents on display, and it will take you at least an hour to see them all in detail. You can learn about the personality of Yoshiaki Mogami from a variety of perspectives, as he not only recorded various battles as a warlord, but also had an outstanding background as a man of culture. In addition to the armor and helmets he wore during the battles, there are also many letters addressed to his nephew Masamune Date and Renga poems on display, which are perfect for those who want to learn more about the relationship between Yoshiaki Mogami and the people associated with him and their historical background. On the other hand, materials related to the tragedy of his beloved daughter, Komahime, are also on display, giving visitors a glimpse of a life that was not all smooth sailing.
It is free to visit. Some of the documents are explained in English, but most of the exhibits are in Japanese only. The museum is located on the first floor only, making it stress-free for visitors with disabilities such as wheelchairs.

かつて山形県の県庁及び県会議事堂として使用された、イギリス・ルネサンス様式の建物。その威風堂々とした佇まい、今も多くの人を惹きつけている。
正式名称は『山形県郷土館』であるが、建物の全てが展示スペースとして活用されているわけではなく、また展示されている内容も、明治時代以降の近代の史料がほぼ全てを占めている。内装はこれまで何度も修復と整備が施されているものの、可能な限り当時の面影を残しており、豪奢なシャンデリアや調度品、きめ細かな彫刻、気品のある色合いの絨毯やカーテンに魅入られるだろう。
この施設は、各部屋を周回し展示を観覧するだけなら無料で利用できる。近代日本の建築様相を残している施設の一つであることから、映画やモデル、ウェディング向けの撮影のロケにも利用されているが、こちらは事前申請制で有料となる。議場ホールや中庭等をイベント等で貸し切りで利用することも出来る。

It is an English Renaissance style building that once served as the prefectural office and the prefectural assembly hall of Yamagata Prefecture. Its majestic appearance still attracts many people today.
The official name of the museum is "Yamagata Prefecture Local Museum," but not every room of the building is used as an exhibition space. The contents on display are almost entirely made up of modern historical documents from the Meiji era onward. Although the interior has been restored and maintained many times, it retains as much of its original appearance as possible, and visitors will be fascinated by the opulent chandeliers, furnishings, detailed carvings, and elegantly colored carpets and curtains.
This facility is free of charge if you just walk around the rooms and look at the exhibits. Since it is one of the facilities that still retains the architectural aspects of modern Japan, it is also used for filming locations for movies, models, and weddings. If you want to use it for such filming, you will need to register in advance and pay a fee. The council hall and courtyard can be rented out for events for a fee.

山形駅界隈にはいくつもの飲食店が軒を連ねているが、山形駅の改札に最も近く、且つ質の高い料理を給仕するレストランとして、このレストランと挙げておきたい。
席数も充分にあり、少人数からまとまった人数構成のテーブルに至るまで様々な人数の客にも対応可能な構成のテーブルが用意されている。常にひっきりなしに客が来店するが、客の回転は悪くはなく、混雑しても長時間待たされる機会は多くない。スタッフの接客応対も概ね良好で、不愉快な目に遭うことは恐らく皆無だろう。
給仕されるトンカツの肉質はややサッパリめ。そのためジューシーさはやや少ない様に感じるが、変に後味を残さず食べることが出来る。料理の給仕前に出されるゴマとオリジナルのタレは相性抜群で、それぞれが主張しすぎないのもいい。
山形駅界隈で飲食する場所に迷ったら、お勧めしたいレストランの一つである。

The meat of the pork cutlet served to you is not too heavy and not too juicy. And it does not leave many aftertaste. The sesame seeds and the original sauce that are served before the dish is served go well together, and they are not too overpowering.
This is one of the restaurants I would recommend if you are lost for places to eat and drink in the Yamagata Station area.

まるで中世や近世のヨーロッパの酒場のような雰囲気のレストランです。柱や梁、テーブルや椅子等の調度品に至るまで木製のもので統一されており、昼や外からの光で明るい雰囲気ですが、夜は適度な明るさの灯りで落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出します。
給仕される料理はいずれも素晴らしいですが、だからと言って敷居の高さは全くなく（ドレスコードもありません）、気軽に立ち寄り食事が出来るところもこのレストランの魅力的なところだと思います。味付けは勿論見た目にもこだわっているため、利用客が多い時間帯では注文から給仕までにやや時間を要します。自然豊かな景色を眺めながら、ゆったりと料理に舌鼓を打つには、やはり比較的空いている時間帯に利用した方がいいでしょう。
空いている時間帯の利用と言うこともありますが、スタッフは適度な距離感をもって接客し、接客対応は概ね丁寧でした。

The atmosphere is bright in the daytime with light from outside, but at night, the moderate brightness of the lights creates a relaxed atmosphere.
The dishes served are all excellent, but that doesn't mean the threshold is high (there is no dress code), and the fact that you can casually drop by and have a meal is one of the attractive features of this restaurant. Since the restaurant is particular about the taste and appearance of dishes themselves, it may take some time from ordering to serving when there are many customers. If you want to enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere with a view of nature, it is better to visit the restaurant when it is relatively empty.
It was partly because we used it during a time when it was empty, the staff served us at a reasonable distance and were generally courteous in their customer service.

スポーツジャーナリストの池田恒雄氏が、野球の交流で得た文化・スポーツに関連するコレクションが展示されている美術館。ジャーナリストとして活躍した傍ら、野球だけでなく様々な選手とも交流を持ち、数々の名選手が着用したグッズだけでなく、活躍場面を収めた写真などが数多く展示されている。
他にも小泉八雲が遺した資料や、會津八一やラグーザ玉（清原玉）の絵画が展示されているが、スポーツに特化したり、新潟特に魚沼由来の美術品と言ったわけではなく、企画展を含めその展示内容にはあまり一貫性が無いことが多い。展示規模もそれ程大きくはないため、1時間程度で全ての展示を回ることが出来る。
建物自体はとても美しく、八色の森公園の木々や池等の自然と見事に調和が取れている外観となっている。大人500円なので、散策ついでの休憩がてらに立ち寄るといいかもしれない。

While he was active as a journalist, he also interacted with various athletes, not only baseball players, and the museum displays not only goods worn by many famous players, but also many photos of them in action.
Other exhibits include materials left behind by Koizumi Yakumo and paintings by Aizu Yaichi and Ragusa Tama (Kiyohara Tama), but they are not specific to sports or art originating from Niigata, especially Uonuma, and the contents of the exhibits, including special exhibitions, are often not very consistent. The scale of the exhibition is not so large that you can visit all the exhibits in about an hour.
The building itself is very beautiful, and its appearance is in perfect harmony with the trees, pond, and other natural features of the Yashiki Forest Park. The price is 500 yen for adults, so it is a good place to stop by for a break while walking around.

担担麺とカレーという、辛い食材の代表格を組み合わせたラーメンと言うことで、さぞかし辛すぎる、辛い物マニアにはたまらない（もしくは辛い物が苦手な人には敬遠したい）ラーメンが給仕される、と思いましたが、意外にもまろやかなできつくはなく、誰でも食べられる辛さだと思います。
入り口にある券売機で食券を購入する注文スタイルです。フロアは1階と2階にありますが、昇降は階段のみ。1階はカウンター席のみですが、2階にテーブル席があります。一方で1階のテーブル席の座椅子の高さがやや高いため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方にはやや利用しづらい印象を持つかもしれません。
カキフライやたっぷりのチーズ等、趣向を凝らしたトッピングも様々用意されているところも、このレストランの魅力の一つかと思います。

Since those ramens combine two of the most popular spicy ingredients, tantanmen and curry, I assumed that the ramen would be too spicy, and wonderful for spicy food enthusiasts (or avoided by those who don't like spicy food). Surprisingly, however, the soup is mild and not too spicy, and anyone can eat it.
There are two floors, the first floor and the second floor, with only stairs leading up and down, and only counter seats on the first floor, but tables on the second floor. The height of the chairs at the tables on the first floor is rather high, which may make it difficult for people with disabilities such as wheelchairs to use the restaurant.
One of the attractions of this restaurant is the variety of toppings, such as fried oysters and plenty of cheese.

和歌山市のシンボルと言うべき史跡です。JR和歌山駅より南海鉄道の和歌山市駅からの方が近く、JR和歌山駅からでも徒歩で行ける距離ではありますが、人によってはバスなどの公共交通機関を利用した方がいいかもしれません。
標高50m程度の山の山頂に建造され、天守の最上階から和歌山市を一望することが出来ます。天守へ登るルートはいくつかありますが、いずれのルートもそれほど急峻ではありません。しかしいずれのルートも階段がメインでスロープが設置されているところはごく僅かであるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用は非常に難しいでしょう。同様に天守内の昇降も階段のみとなっています。
天守内で展示されている史料や宝物は、主に江戸時代以降の甲冑・武器・書物・絵画がメインです。紀伊徳川家の史料や宝物はあまり多くなく、紀伊徳川家に仕えた家臣、あるいは和歌山市に寄贈・保管されてある品物がメインのようです。紀州藩の連綿とした歴史を学ぶ、というより、紀州藩の栄華を展示物から体感する、という感覚で回るといいかもしれません。
タイミングがいいと、天守前の広場で忍者等のショーを見ることが出来ます。親子連れにはピッタリだと思います。

This historic site is a symbol of Wakayama City. Although it's closer to Wakayama City Station on the Nankai Railway than JR Wakayama Station, it's also within walking distance from JR Wakayama Station. But, for some people, it may be better to use public transportation such as buses.
It's built on the top of a mountain about 50 meters above sea level, and from the top floor of the castle tower you can enjoy a panoramic view of Wakayama City. There are several routes to get to the castle tower, but none of them are very steep. However, all the routes are mainly stairs and only a few have ramps, making it very difficult for people with disabilities such as wheelchairs to use them. Similarly, there are only stairs to go up and down in the castle tower.
The historical documents and treasures on display in the castle tower are mainly armor, weapons, books, and paintings from the Edo period onward. There are not many historical documents and treasures of the Kii Tokugawa family, but mainly items donated and stored by Wakayama City, or of vassals who served the Kii Tokugawa clan. Rather than learning about the continuous history of the Kishu clan, it might be better to visit the museum with the sense of experiencing the prosperity of the Kishu clan through the exhibits.
If the timing is right, you can watch a Ninja show in the plaza in front of the castle tower. I think it is perfect for parents and children.

横浜の最も有名な公園の一つです。西北西～東南東に長く伸びた敷地を持ち、四季折々の花々を楽しみつつ、散策やペットの散歩に最適な公園です。広々とした芝生の公園もあり、のんびり昼寝をする人もいれば、ボールやフリスビー等で遊ぶ人もいます。他の沿岸部の公園と同様に、東京湾側には成人の腰の高さ程度の柵しかないため、ボール等が海に落ちるとほぼ回収不可能となりますので注意が必要です。
昼と打って変わって、夜は絶好のデートスポットとなります。中華街等の繁華街の灯りや喧騒はこの公園まではほとんど届かず、イベントでもない限りとても静かです。氷川丸がライトアップされることで、より一層ロマンチックな雰囲気を感じるでしょう。
東南東部の世界の広場以外はほとんど段差も無いため、障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用できます。大道芸人の芸やイベントが行われる時は少し騒々しく思うかもしれませんが、総じてのんびり過ごせる公園だと思います。

It is one of the most famous parks in Yokohama. With a long stretch of land from west-northwest to east-southeast, the park is ideal for strolling and walking pets while enjoying the seasonal flowers. There is also a spacious grassy park where some people take a relaxing nap, while others play with balls, Frisbees, etc. As with other coastal parks, the only fence on the Tokyo Bay side is about the height of a adult's waist, so if a ball or other object falls into the ocean, it is almost impossible to retrieve it, so be careful.
In contrast to the daytime, the park becomes a great date spot at night. The lights and hustle and bustle of downtown areas such as Chinatown rarely reach this park, and unless there is an event going on, it is very quiet. When the Hikawa Maru is lit up, you will feel an even more romantic atmosphere.
With the exception of "Sekai-no-Hiroba" in the southeast part of the park, there are almost no steps, so it is easily accessible to people with disabilities. The park may seem a little noisy when street performers are performing or events are taking place, but in general, it is a park where you can relax and enjoy your time.

約500年の歴史を持つ老舗の和菓子店です。全国に直営店や販売店を構え、喫茶店として利用できる『虎屋茶寮』の他、和菓子やスイーツにまつわる様々なアートが展示されているギャラリーを構えている店舗は、赤坂店のみです。
伝統と格式を重んじつつ、周囲の景観に配慮しながらも、革新的な建造物は、遠くからでもよく分かります。地下1階がギャラリー、2階が和菓子の販売店、3回が茶寮となっています。昇降は階段だけでなくエレベーターもあるため、障碍を持つ方、大きな荷物を持つ方でもストレスなく利用できます。茶寮以外はいずれも無料で利用できます。掲示物や案内文はほとんど日本語のみであるため、海外からの利用客にはやや利用しづらい面があるかもしれません。
既に何十年も接客業を積み重ねているからか、スタッフは一様にテキパキと動き、無駄がありません。客と適度な距離を保ちつつも、時にフレンドリーに接します。土産目的での和菓子購入や茶寮で一息つく場所として最適な店だと思います。

Toraya is a long-established Japanese confectionery shop with a history of about 500 years. It has directly managed shops or only sold shops all over Japan, and the Akasaka shop is the only shop that has a gallery where various art related to wagashi and sweets are displayed, in addition to the Toraya Saryo, which can be used as a cafe.
The innovative structure is clearly visible from a distance, as it respects tradition and formality, while at the same time respecting the surrounding landscape. The first basement floor is a gallery, the second floor is a store selling Japanese sweets, and the third floor is a tea house. There are not only stairs but also elevators for ascending and descending, making it stress-free for people with disabilities and those with large luggage. All of them are free of charge except for Toraya Saryo. Most of the notices and information are in Japanese only, which may make it a little difficult for foreign visitors to use the facility.
Perhaps it is because they have already been in the customer service business for decades, but the staff is uniformly crisp and lean. They keep a good distance from customers and are sometimes friendly. I think it is the best place to buy Japanese sweets as souvenirs or to take a break in a tea house.

周囲を道路で囲まれた広場です。芝生の敷地もあるものの、敷地そのものとしては広くはなく、ボール遊びは勿論のこと駆け回って遊ぶことも出来ません（明確に立ち入り禁止というわけではありませんが、広さ的には全く物足りないでしょう）。
一方でこの広場は、規模は小さいながらも四季折々の花々が咲く花壇が設けられています。汽車道から横浜赤レンガ倉庫に向かう散歩の途中で、ゆっくりと花を愛でながら一休みする場所として丁度いいかもしれません。

On the other hand, this plaza, though small in scale, has flower beds with seasonal flowers, making it a good place to take a break and enjoy the flowers on the way to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse from the Kishamichi Promenade.

横浜のみなとみらい地区にあるいくつかの公園の中でも、広々とした芝生の公園です。遊具は一切ありませんが、かけっこをしたりのんびりと寛いだりダンスの練習をしたりと思い思いにひと時を過ごすのにピッタリの場所です。
沿岸に設けられた他の公園と同様に、東京湾に面している沿岸部の柵は大人の腰の高さほどであるため、ボール等遠方へ投げる遊びをする際は充分注意した方がいいでしょう。また、他の公園と比較すると樹木の数が少ないため、木陰で休む場所がかなり限定されてしまいます。小型のテントを持ち込む等、特に夏場の熱中症対策を採るべきでしょう。
この公園では特にイベントが模様されることも多くないため、一年を通して非常に混雑する場所ではありません。しかし沿岸部が公園の東にあることから、初日の出スポットとして有名で、元旦にはベイブリッジと初日の出を見るために多くの人が訪れます。

Among the several parks in the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama, this is one of the most spacious grassy parks. There is no playground equipment at all, but it is a perfect place to spend some time running around, relaxing, or practicing dance.
As with other coastal parks, the fence along the shore facing Tokyo Bay is about the height of an adult's waist, so it is best to be careful when playing with balls or other objects thrown far away. Also, there are fewer trees than in other parks, so places to rest in the shade are quite limited. You may want to bring a small tent or take other measures to prevent heat stroke, especially in summer.
The park is not a very crowded place throughout the year, especially since there are not many events held there. However, because the coastal area is to the east of the park, it is famous as a sunrise spot, and many people come here on New Year's Day to see the Bay Bridge and the sunrise.

築地にある浄土真宗本願寺派の寺院。築地本願寺自体は江戸時代初期に建立されたが、現在の本堂自体は新しく、1934年に竣工された。古代インド様式の建造物は周辺の建物からしても非常に奇抜に見えるが、むしろ威風堂々としており、決して媚びへつらわない孤高の雰囲気を漂わせる。
本堂内は無料で拝観可能。但し常時開かれているわけではなく、早朝に開門され夕方には門が閉じられる。基本的に観光案内するための寺院では無いため、多言語のパンフレットや案内文はあるものの、観光ガイドはいない。純粋に仏教寺院として参拝、あるいは冠婚葬祭に利用するための寺院という位置づけである（そのため、内部も原則撮影禁止）。
銀座に近いこともあり、寺院の界隈はショッピングや飲食の店が多く軒を連ねる。境内はまだそれらの店舗の喧騒が聞こえてくるが、本堂の中は非常に静か。喧騒を離れ、心を落ち着かせ静かに過ごすのにいいのかもしれない。

It's a temple of the Honganji sect of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism in Tsukiji. Tsukiji Honganji itself was built in the early Edo period, but the current main hall itself is new, completed in 1934. The ancient Indian style building looks very eccentric in comparison to the surrounding buildings, but it is rather majestic and has an air of isolation that never flatters.
The main hall is open to the public free of charge. However, the gates are not always open; they open early in the morning and close in the evening. Basically, this temple is not for tourists, so although there are pamphlets and information in many languages, there are no tourist guides. It's purely a Buddhist temple for worship, weddings, funerals, and other ceremonial occasions (which is why photography is not allowed inside).
The temple is located near Ginza, and the area around the temple is lined with many stores and restaurants. You can still hear the hustle and bustle of these stores in the temple precincts, but in the main hall is very quiet. It may be a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend some time in peace and quiet.

洗足池の東側に位置する日蓮宗の寺院です。境内は木と竹で覆われており、夏の湿気の高い季節は鬱蒼として蒸すような空気感になりますが、すぐ隣が公園と保育園であるにも関わらずとても静かです。休日でも訪れる人は少ないため、洗足池界隈を散策する際に訪れる場所としてピッタリだと思います。
拝観自体は無料ですが、日中のみで夕方以降は山門が閉まり、立ち入ることは出来ません。

This Nichiren-shu temple is located on the east side of Senzoku Pond. The temple grounds are covered with trees and bamboos, which makes the air feel dense and stuffy during the humid summer season, but it is very quiet despite the park and nursery school right next to it. Even on weekends, there are not many visitors, so it is a perfect place to visit when strolling around the Senzoku-ike area.
The temple itself is free to visit, but only during the daytime, and the gate is closed after dusk.

和歌山城公園の北西に位置する日本庭園です。紀州徳川家の第一代藩主である徳川頼宣によって隠居所として築かれた庭園です。
規模はそれほど大きくなく、周回するだけなら5分程度で済みます。但し園内は起伏が多く、園内の小径の多くは石畳であるため、雨の日は滑りやすいのに注意が必要です。障碍を持つ方の利用は非常に難しいでしょう。小径も狭いため、大きな荷物はコインロッカー等に預けた上で来園した方がよさそうです。
鬱蒼とした木々に囲まれているからか、和歌山城公園周辺の喧騒はほとんど聞こえません。小さな庭園ではありますが、起伏が多いからか、様々な角度から庭園の景色を楽しむことが出来ます。この庭園の異名にもある通り、秋が深まる季節の紅葉が実に見事です。あまり陽の光が当たらないように設計されているからか、深く落ち着いた朱色の紅葉を楽しむことが出来ます。

This Japanese garden is located in the northwest of Wakayama Castle Park. The garden was built by Yorinobu Tokugawa, the first lord of the Tokugawa family in Kishu, as his retreat.
The scale of the garden is not very large and it only takes about 5 minutes to go around. However, there are a lot of ups and downs in the garden and many of the paths are paved with stones, so be careful not to slip on rainy days. So, it would be very difficult for people with disabilities to use the park. The paths are also narrow, so it would be better to leave your large luggage in a coin locker before coming to the park.
Perhaps because it is surrounded by dense trees, you can hardly hear the hustle and bustle around Wakayama Castle Park. Although it is a small garden, you can enjoy the view of the garden from various angles, probably because of its many undulations. As the garden's other name suggests, the autumn leaves are truly magnificent in the deepening autumn season. Perhaps because the garden is designed to avoid too much sunlight, you can enjoy the deep and serene vermilion leaves.

新馬場駅のすぐ近くにある、小高い丘の上に設けられた神社です。京急線に乗車し西側の車窓を見ていると必ず目につきます。とりわけ絢爛豪華な神社ではなく、住宅街に囲まれていることもあり、初詣や祭りの時期等を除けば参拝者も少なく、ひっそりとしています。
東側にある鳥居には見事な龍の彫刻が施され、堂々とした佇まいを見ることが出来ます。鳥居から拝殿に向かう際の階段がかなり急となっていますので、必要に応じて手摺を利用して昇降するといいでしょう。境内には富士塚があり、富士信仰に関連して作られたものですが、今では境内から街並みを眺める展望台の一つとなっています。

The shrine is located on a small hill near Shinbamba station. If you take the Keikyu line and look out the window on the west side of the train, you will surely see it. It is not a particularly gorgeous shrine, and because it is surrounded by residential areas, there are not many worshippers except during the New Year's visit and festivals, and it is quiet.
The torii gate on the east side of the shrine has a magnificent dragon carving on it, giving it an imposing appearance. The stairs from the torii to the hall of worship are quite steep, so it is best to use the handrail to climb up and down if necessary. There is a Fujizuka on the shrine precincts, which was built in connection with the Fuji faith, but has now become one of the observatories from which you can view the city from the shrine precincts.

高層ビルが立ち並ぶ都心の真ん中に、濃い緑の木々と鮮やかな赤の幟旗や鳥居、そして無数の狐の石像、という摩訶不思議ともいえる雰囲気を醸し出している寺院です。境内は狭く、一周するだけであれば30分とかかりません。それでもまるで引き寄せられるかのように参拝客が訪れます（勿論海外から訪れる観光客も多くいます）。
目の前の青山通りは、特に平日は車が多く行き交っているため、都心ならではの雑踏や喧騒は完全には遮断されていませんが、それでも境内に入れば自然と心が落ち着くように感じます。境内には小さな社が点在し、それに対する説明文も少ないですが、敢えてそういった案内等は一切触れず、感じたままに散策するのもいいかもしれません。

In the center of the city, where skyscrapers line the streets, there are dark green trees, bright red banners and torii gates, and countless stone statues of foxes, creating a mysterious atmosphere. The precincts of the temple are small, and it takes less than 30 minutes to walk around. Even so, the temple attracts visitors as if they are drawn to it (of course, there are many tourists from overseas).
The Aoyama-dori Avenue in front of the temple is crowded with cars, especially on weekdays, so the hustle and bustle of the city center is not completely blocked out, but even so, once you enter the temple grounds, you will feel naturally calmer. The precincts are dotted with small shrines, and there are few explanatory notes for them, but it might be a good idea to just stroll around as you feel, without daring to refer to any such information.
