接待や気の合う知人との少し贅沢な食事にピッタリな鉄板焼きのレストランです。
渋谷駅から徒歩で10分程とやや距離がありますが、スクランブル交差点周辺等の人によっては非常に騒々しい雰囲気から離れているからか、比較的静かな環境で食事が出来ると思います。店内はやや薄暗く落ち着いた雰囲気ではあるものの、ところどころに段差があるのに注意が必要です。車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用することは出来ますが、少し通路が狭いと感じるかもしれません。
目の前で肉や魚介類、野菜を焼いてくれる鉄板があるカウンター席と、テーブル席があり、見たところ40～50席程度あるようです。大人数での利用も可能ではありますが、ほぼ貸し切りになってしまうかもしれません。
給仕される料理は、食材も盛り付けも非常に質が高く、また充分に拵えられているため、最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ると思います。味付けも必要以上にせず、食材そのものの味を存分に味わってほしい調理を心掛けているように思います。一方で、熱々の料理を楽しむのであれば、カウンター席がお勧めでしょう。テーブル席でも充分に美味しい料理が給仕されますが、一部の料理はやや冷めてしまっている印象は否めません。特別なひと時を楽しむためのレストランであるため、給仕される一皿一皿の料理の量もやや少なめのように思います（特にコース料理の場合）。たくさん食べたい場合は、コース料理ではなくアラカルトの方がいいかもしれません。
スタッフの接客対応の質は概ね良好でした。

Although it's a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station, you can dine in a relatively quiet environment, perhaps because it is away from the extremely noisy atmosphere around the Scramble Crossing. The interior of the restaurant is somewhat dimly lit and has a relaxed atmosphere, but be aware that there are steps in some places. It is accessible to people with disabilities such as wheelchairs, but you may find the aisles a little narrow.
There are counter seats with a griddle grilling meat, seafood, and vegetables right in front of you, and table seats, and from the looks of it, there are about 40 to 50 seats. It is possible to use the restaurant for a large group, but it may be almost entirely reserved.
The dishes served are of very high quality, both in terms of ingredients and presentation, and are well prepared so that it can be enjoyed to the last detail. The dishes are not seasoned more than necessary, and the chefs seem to be trying to cook in a way that allows you to fully appreciate the flavors of the ingredients themselves. 熊谷の発展のために数々の偉業を為した竹井澹如氏によって明治初期に造られた回遊式庭園である。
この庭園は、元は竹井澹如氏の別邸の庭であるため、造園された当時から誰もが気軽に入ることが出来たわけではない。庭園の名称である『星溪園』も昭和初期につけられたもので、昭和25年に熊谷市が譲り受けて市の名勝として指定されたのち、誰もが無料で気軽に訪れることが出来るようになった。
庭園自体はそれ程広くなく、周遊するだけであれば20分と要しない。木々の緑が鬱蒼と生い茂っており、日差しを遮っているため、夏場でもそれ程暑さを感じずに済む。ここでは随時俳句を募集しており、誰もが参加できる。入口に専用の紙が配られており、一句書いて投書すれば、ギャラリーに掲載されるかもしれない。庭園自体は無料だが、庭園内にある茶会などを楽しむ建物の利用は有料で、事前の予約が必要となる。
現在は住宅街に囲まれているため、他の家の洗濯物等が目に入る場合がある。また幹線道路が近くを通っており、車の行き来の喧騒もよく聞こえる。残念ながら、日本庭園ならではの景観と風情を楽しむために来園すると、少しガッカリするかもしれない。また、庭園そのものがそれ程広くなく、園内の敷地の多くを池で占めているため、人が経ち入れられる小路などはそれほど広くない。少人数であれば当日予約等無しで訪れても問題ないが、大人数での利用には、事前に管理事務所等に連絡した方がいいかもしれない。
園内には複数人のガイドボランティアが常駐している。この庭園の成り立ちや今に至るまでの波乱万丈の話を聞くことが出来るだろう。

This garden was created in the early Meiji period by Mr. Tanjo Takei, a man of many accomplishments for the development of Kumagaya.
Since this garden was originally the garden of the villa of Mr. Takei, not everyone was able to casually enter the garden from the time it was created. The name of the garden, "Seikeien," was given in the early Showa period, and in 1950, Kumagaya City took over the garden and designated it as a place of scenic beauty, after which it became accessible to all visitors free of charge.
The garden itself is not very large, and it takes less than 20 minutes just to walk around it. The trees are thick and green, blocking out the sun, so it's not so hot in the summer. Haiku poems are always welcome here, and everyone is welcome to participate. A special paper is handed out at the entrance, and if you write a haiku and submit it, it may be published in the gallery. The garden itself is free of charge, but there is a fee to use the building in the garden for tea ceremonies and other events, which must be reserved in advance.
The garden is currently surrounded by a residential area, so there are times when laundry, etc. from other houses can be seen. Also, a main road runs nearby, and the hustle and bustle of cars coming and going can often be heard. Unfortunately, if you come to the garden to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere of a Japanese garden, you may be a little disappointed. Also, the garden itself is not that large, and most of the site is occupied by a pond, so there are not so many paths for people to walk through. If you are a small group, you can visit the garden without making a reservation on the day of your visit, but if you are a large group, you might want to contact the management office in advance.
There are several volunteer guides stationed in the garden. They will be able to tell you the story of how the garden came to be and the many vicissitudes that have led up to the present.

ファンタジー作品に登場する、ホビットやエルフ等の伝説や架空の種族が住まう里、と形容してもいいくらい、のどかで幻想的な空間を醸し出している商業施設です。草で覆われた屋根、土壁、敷地内に点在する小人の家のようなオブジェは、小規模ながらテーマパークでは味わえない異世界の雰囲気を楽しむことが出来ます。そのような外観である一方で、建物内の内装は取り扱うお菓子に沿うように設計されており、取り扱う菓子がどら焼きやカステラであれば日本の茶屋のようなテイストを、バウムクーヘンであれば落ち着いた色合いながらスタイリッシュな雰囲気も取り入れた設計になっています。
商業施設自体は無料で利用できます。施設内は主に各種スイーツの販売店と複数のカフェで構成されており、カフェは入口に設置されている会計レジで注文と会計を済ませる必要があります（カフェにより、給仕はスタッフが行う場合と自分で配膳する場合があります）。敷地内の北側にある工場では、実際にバウムクーヘンが製造される様子をガラス越しに見ることが出来ます。
近江八幡駅から3km以上も離れているため、基本的に車での来場となります。バスで行くことも出来、1時間に2〜3本程度の便があるため、交通の便は決して悪いわけではありません。屋外は可能な限り自然の状態を保持しているため、車椅子での通行するとややガタつく可能性がありますが、通行を妨げるような大きな段差等はありません（勿論、屋内はエスカレーター完備です）。一方で、敷地の入り口や駐車場から施設の入り口に至るまでの道が狭く、しかも写真撮影に非常に映える風景が広がることから、道が詰まることがしばしば見られます。大人数での観光客も多く見られますが、記念写真撮影などのタイミングと場所は注意した方がいいでしょう。
上述のようにファンタジー世界の雰囲気を醸し出す施設であるため、特に子供に非常に喜ばれます。ガイドツアー（要事前予約）もあるので、体験してみると貴重な体験になるでしょう。

It's a commercial facility that creates an idyllic and fantastic space that could be described as a village inhabited by legendary and fictional races such as hobbits and elves that appear in fantasy works. The grass-covered roofs, mud walls, and dwarf house-like objects scattered throughout the site provide an otherworldly atmosphere that cannot be experienced in a theme park, despite its small size. While the exterior is designed in such a way, the interior of the building is designed to match the confectioneries it handles, with the dorayaki and castella confectioneries having a taste similar to a Japanese teahouse, and the baumkuchen confectioneries having a calm color scheme with a stylish atmosphere.
The commercial facility itself is free of charge. The facility mainly consists of a variety of sweet stores and several cafes. The cafes require visitors to order and pay at the cash register located at the entrance (depending on the café, food may be served by staff or by visitors themselves). At the factory on the north side of the property, visitors can watch through glass as the actual production of baumkuchen takes place.
Since it's located more than 3 km away from Omi Hachiman Station, visitors basically come by car. It is also possible to reach the site by bus, with two to three buses per hour, so transportation is by no means bad. The outdoor area has been kept as natural as possible, so there are no major steps to hinder access, although wheelchair access may be a little bumpy (of course, the indoor area is equipped with escalators). On the other hand, the paths from the entrance to the site and from the parking lot to the entrance of the facility are narrow and often clogged due to the extremely photogenic landscape. Although there are many tourists in large groups, it's advisable to be careful about the timing and location of memorial photo shoots and other activities.
As mentioned above, the facility creates an atmosphere of a fantasy world, which is very much appreciated, especially by children. Guided tours (advance reservations required) are also available, making the experience a valuable one.

『サッポロビール園』及び園内の『サッポロビール博物館』は、無料で利用できる。往年の復刻ビールを試飲できるサービスがあるが、それは有料のプレミアムツアーに参加した時のみであり、無料で利用した場合は試飲サービスは受けられない。
日本にビールが伝わってから今に至るまでの試行錯誤、世界恐慌や数々の戦争に巻き込まれた激動の時代の中で経営することの苦難、サッポロビールのシンボルである星のマークや広告の変遷など、単にビールそのものだけでなく、ビールにまつわる様々な世界的あるいは身近な事柄の歴史まで展示されている。少し薄暗い部屋とスタイリッシュな展示方法であり、展示数も大量であるわけではないため（周回するのに1時間も要しない）、誰もが楽しむことが出来る博物館となっていると思う。各展示には日本語だけでなく中国語や韓国語の説明も併記されているので、外国人観光客も気軽に楽しむことが出来ると思う。

The Sapporo Beer Garden and the Sapporo Beer Museum are open to the public free of charge. The beer tasting service is available only for those who participate in the premium tours.
The exhibition covers not only beer itself, but also the history of various global and familiar beer-related issues, such as the trials and tribulations from the introduction of beer in Japan to the present, the hardships of running a business in a turbulent period of the Great Depression and numerous wars, and the evolution of Sapporo Beer's symbolic star and advertisements. The exhibition includes not only beer itself, but also the history of various global and familiar matters related to beer. The slightly dimly lit rooms, stylish display style, and not too many exhibits (it takes less than an hour to go around the museum) make it a museum that anyone can enjoy. Each exhibit has explanations in Chinese and Korean as well as Japanese, so foreign visitors can easily enjoy the exhibits.
Perhaps because the museum is free of charge, there is no staff on duty.

札幌の大通公園とすすきのの間に位置するスープカレー専門店です。営業中はレストランとしてのサインが通りに掲示されるものの、ビルの地下1階にあるレストランであるためやや分かりづらいですが、それにもかかわらずランチタイム・ディナータイム共に列が出来る程の人気店でもあります。地下への昇降は階段の他エレベーターもあるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用することが出来ると思います。
客席数は50～60席程度で、ほとんどが2人向けの構成の席であるため、大人数での利用には向かないと思います。各席とも程よい距離感で配置されており、各席でのプライベートスペースは確保しやすいと思います。
給仕されるスープカレーは、盛り付け・見た目は他のスープカレー店と遜色無く、大きめの器に大きめの様々な具材が盛り付けられています。肉類の脂分がスープに染み込んでいるものの、決して重い舌触りになることなく、それでいて程よいコクがあり、引きずり過ぎるような後味ではありません。標準的な辛さの場合、刺激もほとんど感じないくらいの程よい辛さであるため、辛いものが苦手な人にも受け入れられるのではと思います。具材もしっかりと柔らかくなるように下処理されており、噛みづらさは感じられませんでした。
札幌には数多くのスープカレー専門店がありますが、このレストランはお勧めの一つになると思います。

Located between Odori Park and Susukino in Sapporo, this restaurant specializes in soup curry. Although the restaurant is signed on the street during business hours, it is somewhat difficult to find because it's located on the basement floor of a building, but despite this, it's a popular restaurant with a long line of customers at both lunch and dinner times. There are stairs and an elevator to go up and down to the basement, so even people with disabilities such as wheelchairs can easily use the restaurant.
The restaurant has about 50 to 60 seats, most of which are configured for two people, so it's not suitable for a large group. Each seat is placed at a good distance from the other, so it's easy to secure a private space at each seat.
The soup curry served is comparable in presentation and appearance to other soup curry restaurants, with a variety of large ingredients arranged in a large bowl. Although the fat from the meat soaks into the soup, it never feels heavy on the tongue, yet it has a good richness and does not have an aftertaste that drags on too long. The standard level of spiciness is so moderate that it is barely irritating, making it acceptable even for those who do not like spicy food. The ingredients are also well prepared so that they are soft and tender, and I did not find them difficult to chew.
There are many restaurants specializing in soup curry in Sapporo, and I think this restaurant would be one of the best to recommend.

札幌市内の中でも、非常に質の高い肉料理が堪能できるレストランです。
札幌駅からは勿論、大通公園やすすきのからもやや距離があること、ビルの地下1階にあり目立った看板等が無いことから、やや場所が気づきにくいかもしれませんが、却ってそれが『知る人ぞ知るレストラン』という印象を醸し出し、タイミングさえよければ予約なしでもすぐに、あるいは10分～30分程度待つだけで利用できます。但しそれもタイミングが良ければの話であり、スムーズな入店と食事の注文及び給仕を希望するのであれば、予約は必ずした方がいいでしょう。1時間以上待たされることも多々あります。
北海道産の牛や豚を使用した肉料理がメインですが、鹿を始めとするジビエ料理もメニューにあります。カウンター席に座っていれば、直に注文した肉が焼かれ、それが給仕されるのを見ることが出来るでしょう。いずれの肉料理も素晴らしく、程よい柔らかさに仕上がっています。ハンバーグ料理には余計なつなぎとなる材料は使われていないようで、つなぎの雑味も感じませんでした。肉料理に使われているソースも絶妙で、甘すぎず辛すぎず、程よく肉料理に絡み合っていました。お酒の種類も豊富であるため、ランチタイムよりディナータイムの方が高い人気を誇ると思います。
各スタッフは、適度に距離を置いた接客を心掛けているようで、丁寧ではあるものの必要以上且つムラのある接客ではありませんでした。人によっては少し淡白な接客対応と感じるかもしれませんが、概ね好印象でした。

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy very high quality meat dishes in Sapporo.
The location of the restaurant may be a little difficult to notice because of its distance from Sapporo Station, Odori Park and Susukino, and the fact that it is located on the basement floor of a building with no conspicuous signage. If your timing is good, when you go to the restaurant without a reservation, you can use the restaurant by waiting 10 to 30 minutes for a table.
However, this is only if the timing is good. If you want a smooth entry, ordering and serving of food, it is better to make a reservation.
Meat dishes using Hokkaido beef and pork are the main items on the menu, but deer and other game species are also on the menu. If you sit at the counter, you will be able to watch your meat order being grilled and served directly to you. All of the dishes of meat are excellent and just the right amount of tenderness. The hamburger dishes did not seem to have any extra binding ingredients, and I did not notice any cloying taste from the binding. The sauces used for the meat dishes are also exquisite, not too sweet or spicy, but just the right amount of sauce to go with the meat. The restaurant has a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, which I believe makes it more popular at dinner time than lunch time.
Each staff member seemed to be trying to keep a reasonable distance from the customers, and although polite, the service was not overly necessary and uneven. Some people may find the customer service a bit bland, but in general I had a good impression.

北海道逆念記念事業の一環で造られた野外博物館である。明治以降、北海道開拓のために、あるいは北海道開拓時代に建てられ、北海道各地で残された当時の建物が一堂に移築・保存されており、北海道開拓時代の往年の建築様式や人々の生活を見学することが出来る。ほとんどの建築物が明治・大正期に建てられたもので、且つ本州などの北海道以外の場所から移住した人々が設計した建物であるため、日本の本州以南に遺されている明治・大正期の建物の様式と大きな差異は見られない。一方で、『北海道』という広大な場所を、可能な限り短い期間で本州以南と同程度の文化・生活様式に発展させようという意思が働いたからか、本州以南に遺された建物と比較するとやや小ぶりなものが多いように見受けられる（移築・保存可能な遺された建物がそれしかなかったから、かもしれないが）。当然ながら、アイヌの人々の建物や生活様式の展示は皆無である。
展示されている建物全てではないが、多くの建物は中に入ることが出来る（そのうちの一部の建物は、中に入る際に入口で靴を脱ぐ必要がある）。敷地に入るための入り口にはスロープが設置されており、敷地内も特段段差等が無いため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用することが出来る。とは言え、敷地内の全ての道や通路が整備されているわけではないので注意が必要である。さらに、多くの建物は可能な限り当時の状態で保存されているため、エレベーターやエスカレーターが設置されていないことにも注意が必要である。
敷地内は、大きく市街地群と山村群に分けられており、市街地群には往年の庁舎や旅館・商業施設等が、山村群には往年の農家や開拓小屋・飯場が展示されている。建物だけでなく屋外の様子も可能な限り往年の環境を再現しているため、あたかも明治・大正期の、広々としつつも現代の賑わいには程遠く、素朴で少し寂しさを含む北海道の空気感を感じることが出来るだろう。敷地内の全ての道は広めに設定されているため、大人数のグループで訪れても狭苦しさは全く感じない。当時の伝統の遊びを体験したり楽器や印刷機を体験したりするイベントがほぼ毎日のように行われており、さらにタイミングがよければ馬車鉄道にも乗ることが出来る。全ての展示された建物を訪れるだけでも1時間は簡単に過ぎてしまうので、じっくり見学して回るなら2〜3時間は必要だろう。
全ての展示物ではないが、英語等の多言語での説明も併記されているため、海外からの観光客も気楽に訪れることが出来ると思う。

It's an open-air museum built as part of the Hokkaido Pioneering Commemoration Project. The museum houses a collection of buildings that were built for or during Hokkaido's pioneering period after the Meiji era (1868-1912) and left behind in various parts of Hokkaido, which have been relocated and preserved. Most of the buildings were constructed in the Meiji and Taisho periods, and were designed by people who had emigrated from places other than Hokkaido, such as Honshu, so there is not much difference in style from the buildings of the Meiji and Taisho periods left behind in Japan south of Honshu. On the other hand, many of the buildings seem to be somewhat smaller than those left behind south of Honshu, perhaps because of the will to develop the culture and lifestyle of the vast area of Hokkaido to the same level as those south of Honshu in the shortest possible time (perhaps because they were the only buildings left behind that could be relocated and preserved, (This may be because they were the only surviving buildings that could be moved and preserved.) Naturally, there are no displays of buildings or lifestyles of the Ainu people.
Many, but not all, of the buildings on display are accessible (some of them require visitors to remove their shoes at the entrance). The entrances to the site are equipped with ramps, and there are no steps within the site, so wheelchairs and other disabilities can easily use the site. However, it should be noted that not all roads and pathways within the site are well maintained. In addition, many of the buildings have been preserved as much as possible in their original state, so it's important to note that there are no elevators or escalators.
The site is largely divided into an urban area and a mountain village, with the urban area housing government buildings, inns, and commercial facilities of yesteryear, and the mountain village exhibiting farmhouses and pioneer huts of yesteryear. The buildings as well as the outdoors have been recreated as close as possible to the environment of yesteryear, so that visitors can feel the atmosphere of Hokkaido in the Meiji and Taisho periods, spacious but far from the bustle of today, with a touch of simplicity and a touch of loneliness. All the paths in the site are wide, so even if you visit with a large group, you will not feel cramped at all. Events are held almost daily to experience traditional games, musical instruments, and printing presses of the time, and if the timing is right, visitors can even take a ride on the horse-drawn carriage train. It would easily take an hour just to visit all the exhibits, so if you want to take your time, you will probably need two to three hours.
Not all of the exhibits have explanations in English or other languages, so visitors from overseas should be able to visit with ease.

日本の警察の歴史や装備品の展示、事件や事故を解決するためのプロセスを学べる博物館です。無料で楽しむことが出来、特に子供に人気で、休日を中心に親子連れで賑わっています。展示室は1階から6階までありますが、各フロアの面積は思ったほど広くないため、ところどころで狭苦しく感じ、入場者が多いと入場制限がかけられることがあるので注意が必要です。昇降手段は階段だけでなくエレベーターもあるので、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用することが出来ます。
1階から3階が、犯人の見つけるクイズコーナー、証拠品を集めたり聞き込み等をする様々な体験コーナーが設けられているため、子供向けの博物館と思うかもしれませんが、4階と5階は、（主に警視庁の）様々な装備品や担当部署の役割説明、明治以降の警察の役割の遷移等が展示されているため、大人でも充分に楽しむことが出来ます。各展示には日本語だけでなく英語・中国語・韓国語の説明も併記されており、海外からの観光客が日本の警察を知るいい機会にもなるかもしれません。4階と5階は、恐らく展示物からの装備品模造・偽造防止の観点から、一切の撮影行為が禁止されています。
各展示も分かりやすくまとめられており、退屈しないような工夫もなされているため、展示を回るだけでも1時間程度はあっという間に過ぎるように感じるでしょう。休日等に行く場所が決まっていない場合の利用先としても最適な施設だと思います。

The exhibition rooms are located from the first to the sixth floor, but since the area of each floor is not as large as one might expect, it feels cramped in places, and admission restrictions may be imposed if there are too many visitors. You may think that the museum is for children, as the first three floors have a quiz corner to find the culprit, and various hands-on areas to collect evidence and conduct interviews, etc. However, the fourth and fifth floors exhibit various equipment (mainly from the Metropolitan Police Department), explanations of the roles of the departments in charge, and the transition in the role of the police since the Meiji era. Even adults can fully enjoy the exhibits. Each exhibit has explanations not only in Japanese but also in English, Chinese, and Korean, providing a good opportunity for visitors from overseas to learn about the Japanese police. The 4th and 5th floors are closed to photography, presumably to prevent imitation or counterfeiting of equipment.
The exhibits are clearly organized and designed to prevent boredom, so you will feel as if an hour will fly by just visiting the exhibits. I think this is an ideal facility to visit on holidays or when you do not have a specific place to go.

大通公園のランドマークとして、今も尚存在感を保っているスポットです。
『テレビ塔』という名前がありますが、現在ではほとんどのテレビ送信所は手稲山に移されており、このテレビ塔を使用した放送波の発信・中継・転送は数局のみとなっているため、ここほぼ観光のためのスポット、と考えた方が良さそうです。
さっぽろテレビ塔は、いくつかの飲食店もしくは飲食スペースがあるものの、基本的に地上90mのところにある展望台とお土産屋で構成されています。エレベーターで3階のスカイラウンジまで上り、スカイラウンジにある展望台のチケットを購入します（3階のスカイラウンジまでは無料で利用できます）。展望台までは専用のエレベーターで上ります。札幌駅に直結するJRタワーの展望台が地上160mであるのに対し、国内には100mを超える展望台が多数あるため、地上90mという高さはやや物足りない感じるかもしれません。加えてテレビ塔周辺にはいくつか高層ビルが立ち並び、一部の景色はそのビルに妨げられてしまっています。あまり大きな期待を持たない方がいいかもしれません。さらに、テレビ塔の構造上、鉄骨が展望台を貫通している状態である箇所がいくつかあり、それが展望台をより狭く感じさせています。特に背の高い人は頭をぶつける可能性が高いため、展望台内の通行には注意が必要です。同時に車椅子等の障碍を持つ方も、全く通行出来ないわけではないですが、貫通した鉄骨が通行を狭苦しく感じさせているのは否めません。
札幌観光の記念に、一度は上ってみてもいいかもしれませんが、何度も訪れたくなるスポットとは言い難いと思います。

The observation deck of the JR Tower, which is directly connected to Sapporo Station, is 160 meters above the ground, and there are many observation decks in Japan that are more than 100 meters above the ground, so the height of 90 meters above the ground may seem a little inadequate. In addition, there are several skyscrapers in the vicinity of the TV tower, and some of the views are obstructed by these buildings. It might be better not to have too high expectations. In addition, due to the structure of the TV tower, there are several places where the steel frame penetrates through the observation deck, which makes the observation deck seem smaller than it is. Tall people in particular need to be careful when passing through the observation deck, as there is a high possibility of hitting their heads. At the same time, it's not impossible for people with disabilities, such as wheelchairs, to pass through the observatory, but it is undeniable that the penetrating steel frame makes it feel narrower than it is.
You may want to go up there once to commemorate your visit to Sapporo, but it's not a spot you will want to visit again and again.

『北海道開拓の村』内にある食堂で、利用するには『北海道開拓の村』の入場料を支払う必要があります。敷地内の建物のほとんどが、北海道の開墾、もしくは開拓の黎明期である、明治や大正時代のものですが、この食堂は典型的な昭和期の内装で、役所などの公的機関にある食堂のような雰囲気です。
あらかじめ会計カウンターで注文した料理の会計を済ませ、出来上がった料理は受け取りカウンターで受け取ります。食後は食器類を返却カウンターに返却する必要があります。食堂内は広く、また出入り口にスロープが設置されているため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や大きな荷物を持つ方でも気軽に利用できます。
給仕される料理には、典型的なラーメンやカレーの他にも、『屯田兵定食』等、この施設らしいメニューも取り揃えられています。とは言え、味は特徴的なものはなく至って普通、といった印象です。また、『屯田兵定食』等、この施設ならではのメニューは、給仕までにやや時間を要したり、人気であるだけに品切れになる可能性もあるため注意が必要です。
スタッフの接客対応は可もなく不可もなく、といった印象でした。

The diner is located in the "Historical Village of Hokkaido" and visitors must pay an admission fee to use the diner. Most of the buildings on the premises date from the Meiji and Taisho periods, the early days of Hokkaido's reclamation and development, but this cafeteria has a typical Showa period interior, with an atmosphere similar to that of a cafeteria in a public institution such as a government office.
After paying for the food ordered at the checkout counter, customers pick up their finished dishes at the pickup counter. After eating, you must return the dishes to the return counter. The cafeteria is spacious and has a ramp at the entrance, making it easy for people with disabilities such as wheelchairs or those carrying large luggage to use the cafeteria.
In addition to the typical ramen and curry dishes, the menu also includes a "Tonden-hei set meal" (a set meal named field-encampment soldiers), which is typical of this facility. However, the taste of the food is quite ordinary, with no distinctive characteristics. Also, be aware that the "Tonden-hei set meal" and other menu items unique to this facility may take some time to be served and may be out of stock due to their popularity.
The staff's customer service was neither good nor bad.

上野恩賜公園の噴水広場にあるカフェの一つです。カフェの内部・オープンテラス共に、公園の広々とした雰囲気を楽しめるように設計された、開放的な空間となっています。床や柱だけでなくテーブルや椅子などの多数の調度品が木材で作られ、心地よい雰囲気を醸し出しています。
カフェではありますがどちらかと言えばレストランに近く、軽食よりも様々な食材がプレートに盛り付けられた料理が給仕されます。基本的にワンプレートに盛り付けられた、カフェ飯の印象が強いです。平日・休日問わず混雑している上野恩賜公園内のカフェで、特に休日は長蛇の列が出来ない日は無い程に混雑していることから、作り置きできる料理は可能な限り作り置きしているのか、注文から給仕までの速度は割と早い方だと思います。スタッフも、混雑時の接客対応に慣れているからか、やや素っ気ない対応をするスタッフもいるものの、概ね接客対応の質は良好だと思います。出入口とカフェ内のフロアに段差は無いため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や大きな荷物を持つ方でも気軽に利用できると思います。
東京都内で採れた野菜で作られた料理が中心であるため、菜食主義者やヴィーガンの人でも楽しめる料理もありますが、食材から料理までこだわりがあるだけに、いずれの料理も割と値段が高い、という印象です。軽い食事目的の利用にはちょっと向かないかもしれません。

This is one of the cafes located in the fountain plaza of Ueno Onshi Park. Both the interior and the open terrace of the cafe are open spaces designed to enjoy the spacious atmosphere of the park. The floors and pillars as well as numerous furnishings such as tables and chairs are made of wood, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
Although it's a cafe, it's more like a restaurant, where food is served on plates with a variety of ingredients rather than light meals. Basically, it gives a strong impression of cafe food (cafe-meshi) served on a single plate. The cafe in Ueno Onshi Park is crowded both on weekdays and holidays, especially on weekends when there is never a day when there is not a long line of people waiting in line. Because they make as much of the food that can be prepared in advance as possible, I think the speed from order to service is rather fast. The quality of customer service is generally good, although some staff members are a bit curt, perhaps because they are accustomed to serving customers during busy times. There are no steps between the entrance and the cafe floor, so even people with disabilities such as wheelchairs or people with large luggage can easily use the cafe.
The dishes are mainly made from vegetables grown in Tokyo, so vegetarians and vegans can enjoy some of the dishes. However, the high attention to detail from ingredients to cooking makes all the dishes rather expensive.

東京では新橋駅前のビルの地下にあるような、昭和時代のビル地下の飲み屋街の雰囲気を醸し出すフロアにあるうどん店です。
ビルの地下1階にあり、やや分かりづらいもののエレベーターでの昇降手段もあるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や大きな荷物を持つ方でも気軽に利用できます。しかし、店内がやや狭いことに注意が必要です。カウンター席及びテーブル席が合わせて20席程ありますが、前述の通り店内はやや狭いため、大人数での利用には向かないと思います。
入口のすぐそばにある券売機で予め食券を購入する必要があります（この券売機も少し見つけづらいところに設置されています）。ご夫婦と思われる2人で、注文・調理・給仕・後片付け等の清掃作業を行っているため、注文から給仕まで時間を要することがあります。
給仕される料理はうどんがメインですが、丼ものもあります。ほとんどの料理について、盛り付け等の見た目及び味付けは至ってシンプルで、この店ならではの特徴的な味付けはありませんが、その分、あれこれ考えることなく食事をする、というホッとできるレストランであるように思います。

This udon restaurant is located on a floor that gives off the atmosphere of a bar area in the basement of a Showa-era building, such as the one in front of Shimbashi Station.
It's located on the basement floor of the building, and although somewhat difficult to find, there is an elevator to go up and down, making it accessible to people with disabilities such as wheelchairs and people with large luggage. However, it should be noted that the restaurant is rather small. There are a total of about 20 seats at the counter and at tables, but as mentioned above, the restaurant is rather small, so it is not suitable for large groups.
You must purchase a meal ticket in advance from the ticket vending machine located right by the entrance (this machine is also located in a slightly difficult-to-find place). Since two people, who appear to be a couple, are in charge of ordering, cooking, serving, and cleaning up, it may take some time from the time of ordering to serving.
The main dish served is udon, but there are also rice bowls. Most of the dishes are very simple in appearance and flavor, and there are no special flavors that are unique to this restaurant, but this makes it a relaxing restaurant where you can enjoy your meal without thinking about this or that.

札幌市内には既に多くの高いビルが建てられているため、札幌時計台は札幌市のシンボルとは言え街の風景にやや埋没されているような印象を受けます。お世辞にも目立つような外観ではありませんが、目立たずとも静かに凛と佇む姿は、日を問わず道行く人を引き付けています。
建物内は1階と2階の2階構成であり、階段だけでなくエレベーターも設置されているため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用できます（出入口にもスロープが設置されています）。時計台を含む、札幌農学校の史料の展示は全て1階の展示スペースに集約されており、日本語だけでなく英語などの外国語の説明もあるため、海外からの観光客でも気軽に楽しめることが出来ます。2階はフロアがまるまるホールとなっており、講師台にはクラーク氏の銅像があり、連日一緒に記念撮影する観光客の姿を見かけます。
エンターテインメント性はほとんどありませんが、周遊するだけでは1時間も要しないため、肩肘張らずに気軽に訪れるスポットとしては丁度いいかもしれません。ほぼ毎日のように観光ガイドが駐在しており、建物の成り立ちや、2階に展示されているこれまでの時計塔に設置された時計についての説明をしてくれます。

With so many tall buildings already erected in Sapporo, the Sapporo Clock Tower, although a symbol of the city, seems to be somewhat buried in the cityscape. Although the clock tower is not a conspicuous building, its quiet and dignified appearance attracts passersby regardless of the time of day.
The building consists of two floors, the first and second floors, and is accessible to visitors with disabilities, including wheelchairs, as it is equipped with elevators as well as stairs (there is also a ramp at the entrance and exit). All exhibits of historical documents of Sapporo Agricultural College, including the clock tower, are concentrated in the exhibition space on the first floor, and explanations are provided not only in Japanese but also in English and other foreign languages, making it easy for visitors from overseas to enjoy them. The second floor is an entire hall with a bronze statue of Mr. Clark on the lectern, visitors can be seen taking commemorative photos with the statue every day.
There is little in the way of entertainment, but since it takes less than an hour just to walk around, it may be just the spot for a casual visit without being overbearing. Tourist guides are stationed almost daily to explain the origins of the building and the clocks installed in previous clock towers, which are on display on the second floor.

大通公園から徒歩2〜3分程度のところにあるホテルの一つで、観光の拠点、札幌市内周遊に非常に適したホテルだと思います。一方で最寄りが路面電車の駅で、札幌駅から乗り換えなしで利用できる駅ではありません。札幌駅は勿論、大通駅からも距離があるのが難点の一つです。大きな荷物を持った上で札幌駅からスムーズにアクセスする場合、タクシー等を利用した方がいいかもしれません。
入口・フロントを始め、いずれの調度品もやや使い古された印象があるものの、アンティークな雰囲気が漂い、心地よい空間となっています。スタッフの接客対応は概ね良好で、不愉快に感じることはほとんど無いと思います。各客室も概ね清潔に保たれていますが、バスルームが若干ではありますが清掃が行き渡っていない、という印象でした。一方で周辺のホテルよりもややリーズナブルな価格で宿泊でき、また各部屋も比較的広めであるため、それについては目を瞑るか瞑らないかは意見が分かれるかもしれません。昨今、エレベーターの使用及び客室の入室にカードキーを使用するホテルが多いですが、このホテルは物理的な鍵を使用します。
全く勧められないホテル、というわけではありませんが、少なくとも、真っ先にお勧めするホテルではありません。周辺のホテルと比較して、理想に近いホテルが満室あるいは宿泊料がかなり高い、という場合の次の候補として考慮するホテルだと思います。

It's one of the hotels located about 2 or 3 minutes walk from Odori Park and is very suitable for sightseeing and tour around Sapporo. On the other hand, the nearest station is a tram station, which is not accessible from Sapporo Station without transferring. One of the drawbacks is the distance from Odori Station as well as Sapporo Station. For smooth access from Sapporo Station with large luggage, it may be better to take a cab or other means.
Although the furnishings, including the entrance and front desk, all have a slightly worn look, the antique atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The staff's customer service is generally good, and there are few instances of discomfort. The rooms are generally clean, but the bathrooms are a little less clean than the other rooms in the area. On the other hand, the rooms are relatively spacious, and the price is a little more reasonable than other hotels in the area, so opinions may differ as to whether or not to overlook this. Many hotels nowadays use card keys for elevator use and room entry, but this hotel uses a physical key.
It's not a hotel that I would not recommend at all, but at least it's not the hotel I would recommend first. It's a hotel that should be considered as the next candidate when the nearest hotel is full or the price is quite expensive compared to other hotels in the vicinity.

出入口に段差があり、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や大きな荷物を持つ方はやや利用しづらいと感じるかもしれませんが、それを除けば、昼食時間帯でもそれ程客の利用は多くは無く（満席の時もありますが、客の回転は悪くありません）、スタッフの接客対応もよく、入口近くにある券売機も英語などの多言語に対応している等、非常に利用しやすいラーメン店であると思います。
店名に『鶏』があるように、鶏に非常にこだわった料理が給仕されていると思います。鶏白湯スープがやや麺に絡まっていないように思いますが、スープも重すぎずあっさりしすぎず絶妙な味付けで、最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ます。ラーメンの他、丼ものや鶏肉を使った一品料理もあり、気心の知れた人と一緒に料理をつまみながら食事を楽しむのもいいかもしれません。

There is a step at the entrance, which may make it a little difficult for wheelchair users and people with large luggage to use the restaurant, but other than that, there are not that many customers even during lunch hours (sometimes the restaurant is full, but the customer turnover is not bad), the staff is friendly and helpful, and the ticket vending machine near the entrance is available in English and other languages.
As the name "Chicken" suggests, the restaurant serves dishes that are very particular about chicken. The chicken soup is neither too heavy nor too light, but it is exquisitely seasoned and can be enjoyed until the very end. In addition to ramen, the restaurant also offers rice bowls and a la carte dishes made with chicken, and it would be a good idea to enjoy a meal while nibbling on dishes with people you know well.

街中に多く見られるスターバックスコーヒーとは一線を画す、レストランの要素も併せ持つカフェです。
給仕されるドリンクの主体であるコーヒーは、より一層厳選された豆を使用し、丁寧に挽かれたものが提供されるため、他のスターバックスコーヒーで給仕されるドリンク類と比較しても味わい深さやコクは素晴らしいものとなっています。そのため、値段もやや高めから結構な値段になるものまであり、スターバックスコーヒーと同じ感覚で利用しようとすると場合によっては後悔するかもしれません。ここは、スターバックスコーヒーとは全くの別の規格のお店、と考えた方がいいかもしれません。
1階と2階の2階構成で、昇降は階段のみとなっています。1階にも客席があるので、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用できます（一方で1階の席数は少ないです）。1階でパン類を購入することが出来る他（イートイン、テイクアウト両方利用できます）、2階ではドリンク類の他各種料理を注文することが出来ます。夜間は、ワインやカクテルなどのアルコール類の他、パンやチーズ、ハムなどのフードを皿に自由に盛り付けて（選ぶのは客ですが、盛り付けはスタッフが行うようです）食べることも出来ます。一方で、料理は総じて油っこく、ちょっとくどさが残ります（特に1階で販売されているパン）。もし料理を注文する際、サッパリとしていて胃がもたれにくいものを望む場合は、その旨スタッフに申し付けるといいでしょう。
スタッフの接客対応は、総じて概ね良好でした。

This cafe is distinct from the many Starbucks Coffee shops found in the city, as it also has elements of a restaurant.
The coffee, which is the main ingredient of the drinks served, is made from carefully selected beans and ground with care, so it has a wonderful depth of flavor and richness compared to the drinks served at other Starbucks Coffee shops. The prices range from a little high to quite high, and if you try to use them in the same way as Starbucks Coffee, you may regret it in some cases. It is better to think of this place as a completely different standard from Starbucks Coffee shops.
There are two floors, the first and second, with only stairs to go up and down, and seating on the first floor, making it accessible to people with disabilities such as wheelchairs (although the number of seats on the first floor is limited). Various dishes can be ordered on the second floor. In the evening, in addition to wine, cocktails, and other alcoholic beverages, customers can freely choose bread, cheese, ham, and other food items to be served on their plates (the customer chooses, but the staff seems to be in charge of serving the food). On the other hand, the food is generally greasy and a bit heavy (especially the bread sold on the first floor). If you would like your food to be crispy and not upsetting to your stomach, you can ask the staff for that.
In general, the staff's customer service was generally good.

大阪駅から車でも10分程度は要し、地下鉄の『天神橋筋六丁目駅』に近い場所にあるものの、大阪駅等の主要駅への利用にもやや不便と感じられるところにありますが、そのためかホテル周辺は休日でも大阪駅やなんば駅周辺の喧騒はほとんど感じられず、比較的過ごしやすいホテルであるように感じます。同時に宿泊客も長期休暇の時でさえも予約が取りづらいくらいに混雑している、という印象は無く、比較的リーズナブルな価格で予約を取りやすいホテルであるように思います。1階にある朝食会場も、確かに休日の朝食時間帯こそ混雑していますが、決して席の確保が出来ない、という程ではありませんでした（利用人数が大人数であれば別ですが）。
しかしそれでも、エレベーターが2基というのは少ないように思います。1階もしくは利用階でエレベーターの到着にかなり待たされることも少なくないでしょう。部屋でくつろぐためのガウンや歯ブラシ等のアメニティ類は、部屋には用意されておらず、チェックインカウンターがある専用スペースでピックアップする必要があることから、部屋でくつろぐ際の買い出し等も含め、あまり頻繁にエレベーターで昇降しないでもいいように調整した方がいいかもしれません。エレベーターは、1階の専用センサーにカードキーをかざして認識させないと利用できません。
その他、部屋は一般的なビジネスホテルの広さと変わりありませんが、綺麗に整えられており、終始快適に利用できました。スタッフの接客対応の質もよく、問題と感じたことは一切ありません。

It takes about 10 minutes by car from Osaka Station, and although the hotel is located near Tenjinbashisuji Rokuchome Subway Station, it's somewhat inconvenient to get to Osaka Station and other major stations. Perhaps for this reason, even on holidays, the hotel's surroundings are relatively comfortable, with little of the hustle and bustle of the Osaka and Namba station areas. At the same time, guests do not have the impression that the hotel is so crowded that it is difficult to get reservations, even during long vacations, and it seems to be a relatively reasonably priced hotel that is easy to get reservations.
The breakfast room on the first floor is certainly crowded during breakfast time on holidays, but it's not so crowded that it's impossible to secure a seat(unless you are a large group of people).
Even so, however, two elevators seems a bit low, and it's not uncommon to have to wait quite a while for the elevator to arrive on the first floor or on the floor you are using. Since amenities such as gowns and toothbrushes for relaxing in the room are not provided in the room, and need to be picked up at the dedicated space where the check-in counter is located, it may be better to make adjustments so that you do not have to take the elevator up and down too often, including to buy things for relaxing in the room. It may be a good idea to make adjustments so that you do not have to take the elevator up and down so often. The elevator can only be used by holding up the card key to the dedicated sensor on the first floor to be recognized.
Otherwise, the rooms are no different in size from a typical business hotel, but they are nicely furnished and comfortable from start to finish. The quality of the staff's customer service is also good, and I never had any problems with them.

店の外観には無いものの、店内及びメニュー内に、『JBM』という単語と日本とバングラデシュの国旗のマークがあるため、バングラデシュ料理を楽しめるレストランかな？ と思うかもしれませんが、そんなことは皆無に等しいレストランです。料理の一部に、インドカレー料理店でも見られるようなカレーがあるくらいで、メニューの多くはハンバーガー、パスタ、ステーキなどの一般的な洋食店です。
客席のスペースは2つに分かれており、入口に近い方は禁煙、会計カウンターがある方が喫煙スペースとなっています。しかし分煙が充分ではなく、禁煙スペースでもタバコの煙を感じることが多々あります。加えて会計の際は喫煙スペース側に行かなければならないため、この時点で嫌煙者には全く勧められません。
給仕される料理も、肉はパサパサとしており、代わりにソースが甘じょっぱ過ぎて、非常にアンバランスな感じを覚えました。サラダもしなびれており、あまり美味しいとは感じませんでした。スタッフは、バングラデシュ出身の方が（私が利用した時は）ワンオペで対応していて、不愉快な対応というわけではありませんが、全体にたどたどしく、不慣れな接客対応、という印象でした。
全体的にお勧めできるレストランでは無いように思います。

Although not on the outside of the restaurant, the word "JBM" and the Japanese and Bangladeshi flags on the menu and inside the restaurant make you wonder if this is a restaurant where you can enjoy Bangladeshi cuisine. You may think that it's a restaurant where you can enjoy Bangladeshi cuisine, but that is not the case at all. Only some of the dishes are curries, which can be found in Indian curry restaurants, and most of the menu is a typical Western restaurant with hamburgers, pasta, steaks, and so on.
The seating space is divided into two areas, with the area near the entrance being non-smoking and the area with the checkout counter being smoking. However, there is not a sufficient separation of smoking and smoking is often felt even in the nonsmoking area. In addition, when paying the bill, you have to go to the smoking area, which is not recommended for non-smokers at all.
The dishes served were also very unbalanced, with the meat being dry and the sauces instead too sweet. The salads were also shriveled and not very tasty. The staff was (at the time I visited) a one-person operation staffed by a Bangladeshi national, and while not necessarily unpleasant, the overall impression was of a slow and unfamiliar customer service.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

東京駅の構内で早朝から営業しており、しかも平日休日問わず長蛇の列が出来ない日は無いと言っても過言では無い程の人気を誇るラーメン店です。時間帯によっては30分以上待たされることがあります。カウンター席が10席のみという小さな店ですが、友人同士などの複数人で利用しても互いに喋りながら食事をするのは滅多に見られず（ほとんどの客は単身者であることもありますが）、そのため客の回転はそれ程悪くはありません。
入店にしても列に並ぶにしても、必ず券売機で食券を購入しなければなりません。券売機は現金の他電子マネーも利用できます。給仕されるラーメンは、基本的にスープ有りかスープ無しかのどちらかであり、スープ無しの場合は生卵が無料で付きます。さらにチャーシューや味玉等のトッピングも自由に選ぶことが出来ます。
麺は太めの縮れ麺で、少し硬めに感じました（もしかしたら子供では充分に咀嚼できない可能性があります）。麺を始めトッピングの盛り付けはとにかく豪快。スープが有るラーメンにトッピングされたチャーシューの大きさには特に目を見張るでしょう。なるべく多くの客に食べてもらいたいからか、見た目はそれ程こだわっていないように思います。麺及びトッピング（チャーシュー含む）の味はそれ程特徴的なものはありませんが、スープはクセになる美味しさでした。少し辛みがあるものの決して強い刺激というわけではなく、コクもあり麺にもよく絡み合っていました。
硬めの縮れ麺であるため、箸で麺を掬い上げる際に必ずと言っていい程スープが飛び散ります。入店の際、紙エプロンが必ず渡されるので着用した方がいいです。多くの客になるべく早く食べてもらいたい、というレストランの運営方針なのかもしれませんが、テーブル・食器類は少し洗浄が充分ではなく、ベトベトする感触を覚えました。

Open early in the morning in Tokyo Station, this ramen restaurant is so popular that it's no exaggeration to say that there is never a day when there is not a long line of people waiting in line, regardless of whether it is a weekday or a holiday. Depending on the time of day, you may have to wait 30 minutes or more. It's a small restaurant with only 10 counter seats, but even if you visit with friends, it's rare to see people talking and eating together (although most of the customers are singles), so the customer turnover is not that bad.
Whether entering the restaurant or waiting in line, you must always purchase a meal ticket from a ticket vending machine. The ticket machine accepts cash and electronic money. Basically, the ramen served is either with or without soup, and a raw egg is included free of charge in case of without soup. If the ramen is served without soup, a raw egg is added free of charge, and toppings such as chashu pork and ajitama (seasoned eggs) can also be selected freely.
The noodles are thick, shredded rice noodles, and seem a bit hard (possibly not chewable enough for a child). The toppings, including the noodles, are very boldly arranged. The size of the chashu pork topping on the soupy ramen noodles is particularly remarkable. Perhaps because they want as many customers as possible to eat their ramen, they are not so particular about the appearance of their ramen. The noodles and toppings (including the chashu pork) are not very distinctive, but the soup is addictive and delicious. It was a little spicy, but not too spicy, and it was rich and went well with the noodles.
The noodles were hard and frizzy, so when you scooped them up with chopsticks, the soup was sure to splatter. When you enter the restaurant, you are given a paper apron, which you should wear. Perhaps it's the restaurant's management policy to serve as many customers as possible as quickly as possible, but the tables and dishes were not washed well enough and felt a bit sticky.

ヘビ類を専門に展示している動物園ですが、日本蛇族学術研究所が運営管理していることもあり、研究設備としての側面も有しています。飼育・展示されている動物はヘビだけ、というわけではなく、一部でカメとワニが展示されています。
敷地内に個別の展示施設が建てられており、各施設の展示は、大蛇や毒蛇、熱帯に生息する蛇類というように大まかに分類されています。純粋に展示されているヘビを鑑賞するだけでも楽しめますが、ほぼ毎日のように、どこかしらの施設で、採毒やお食事タイム、ふれあい等のミニイベントが催され、特に子供たちに人気を博しています（各施設の入り口に、その日のミニイベントの開始時刻と場所が掲示されているので、それで確認するといでしょう）。熱帯蛇類温室では、ヘビと記念撮影できるコーナーがあり、随時受け付けています。
一方で、各施設ともに老朽化が著しいです。変温動物を展示していることもあり、ほとんどの展示施設では空調を入れることが出来ません。そのため夏は非常に暑い中で鑑賞しなければなりません（扇風機は常に稼働しています）。この施設は冬でも開場しているのですが、ヘビは冬は冬眠するため、一部は展示されないことがあります。また、小高い丘の上に作られた動物園であるため、各施設の行き来も坂道やスロープを行き来する必要があります。車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用できる動物園ではありますが、一部で傾斜の急な傾斜もあり、車椅子の方単身での利用は少々苦労するでしょう。一方で、動物園にしては喫煙スペースが比較的多いのが特徴的です。
日本で唯一の、且つ世界中のヘビを飼育していることもあり、世界からも注目を集めている動物園なのですが、各展示の説明はほぼ日本語のみで、英語などの説明の併記は皆無に等しいことに注意が必要です。

The zoo specializes in exhibiting snakes, but it also has an aspect of a research facility, as it's operated and managed by the Japan Institute of Snake Science and Technology. Not only snakes are bred and exhibited, but also turtles and crocodiles are exhibited in some parts of the park.
Individual exhibition facilities have been built on the premises, and the exhibits in each facility are roughly categorized as giant snakes, poisonous snakes, and tropical snakes. While visitors can simply enjoy viewing the snakes on display, there are also mini-events held almost every day at one of the facilities, such as poison collection, meal times, and petting sessions, which are especially popular with children (the starting time and location of the day's mini-events are posted at the entrance of each facility, so visitors should check there), (The entrance to each facility has the start time and location of the day's mini-events, so it is best to check there). In the Tropical Snake Conservatory, there is a corner where visitors can take pictures with snakes, which are available at any time.
On the other hand, all of the facilities are aging rapidly. Due in part to the fact that the museum exhibits animals with variable temperatures, most of the exhibition facilities do not have air-conditioning. As a result, visitors must view the exhibits in very hot conditions during the summer (fans are always running). This facility is open in winter, but some of the snakes hibernate in the winter, so some of the exhibits may not be displayed. Also, since the zoo is built on a small hill, visitors must go up and down hills and ramps to get to and from each facility. Although the zoo is easily accessible to visitors with disabilities such as wheelchairs, some of the slopes are very steep, and it may be a bit difficult for a single wheelchair user to use the zoo. On the other hand, the zoo features a relatively large number of smoking areas for a zoo.
The zoo is the only zoo in Japan that keeps snakes from all over the world and is attracting attention from around the world, but it should be noted that explanations of each exhibit are almost exclusively in Japanese, with no explanations in English or other languages.
