ディナータイムは完全予約制、ランチタイムは完全な予約制では無いものの予約をしなければ利用できないくらいにすぐに客席が埋まるほどの人気のレストランです。
小ぢんまりとしたレストランで、席数は20席弱。細い路地を入っていく必要があるため一見分かりづらいかもしれませんが、店のサインが外観に大きく掲げられているため、特に迷うことは無いと思います。
店名にもある通り、このレストランのメインディッシュは『とんかつ』。低温でじっくり時間をかけて揚げているため、給仕までに時間こそかかりますが、とんかつの拵えから素晴らしく、肉は噛み応えを保ちつつも柔らかくてジューシー、衣は全く脂っこくなく軽い食感で、誰ても美味しく食べられる逸品となっています。とんかつの調味料は基本的に塩ですが、味噌や沖縄で採れた様々な食材を活かした練り物の調味料もあり、多彩な味を楽しめます。
ディナータイムは、とんかつの他、沖縄県産の豚肉を使ったしゃぶしゃぶや、琉球宮廷料理を堪能できます。シェフのこだわりが細部まで垣間見え、見た目も楽しむことが出来ると思います。
料理だけでなく店内の調度品や装飾品も素晴らしく、数は多いものの決して過度に華美になり過ぎず、丁度いい空間の彩を醸し出しているように思います。ご夫婦と思われる2人の方で、調理・給仕・会計・清掃を切り盛りしていて、とても大変そうでしたが、決して失礼な対応は無く、全てのサービスをそつなくこなし、程よい距離感で接客しているように見受けられました。まま
出入口には段差があり、上記の通り2人でレストランの遣り繰りをしているため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用の場合、事前予約はランチタイム・ディナータイム共に必須だと思います。周辺が住宅地に囲まれているからか、やや通信が不安定な印象を受けました。
