スープが極端に少ない油そば専用のレストランです。目の前は新宿通りで平日休日問わず車の往来が多いものの、レストランの周囲は住宅街のため、比較的静かです。店内は狭くカウンター席のみですが、昼食時を中心に店の入り口前の広場にテラス席が設けられるため、そこで食事をする客もいます。
麺は太目で弾力もあり、歯ごたえ抜群です。トッピングされた具材と僅かなスープをかきまぜた後に食べますが、麺の強い弾力性のため具材やスープの汁が飛びやすくなっています。白色等の薄い服を着ている人は要注意です。
このレストランは、BGMやテレビ・ラジオ番組を流しておらず、特にカウンター席では皆黙々と料理を食べている人が多く、人によってはかなり居心地が悪いと感じるかもしれません。料理の味に集中出来る面もありますが、賛否あるかと思います。
