程よく甘い香りが漂う、テイクアウト専用のパン屋です。浅草橋駅を降りてすぐのところにあり、シックで控えめな外装ですが、メロンパンの甘い香りは道行く人を釘付けにしてしまう程です。プレーンやチョコレート味等のメロンパンが主体ですが、他にもクロワッサンやアップルパイも販売しています。
一つ一つにボリュームがあり、1つ食べるだけでも満足感を得られます。外側はサクサクした食感ですが、パンの中はふっくらとしています。しかも、購入後少し時間が経過して冷めてしまっても、パンの食感は勿論、香りもほとんど衰えず楽しむことが出来るのがこのパンの醍醐味の一つではないかと思います。
付近の散策をしながら食べ歩くのにピッタリだと思います。
This is a takeout-only bakery with a moderately sweet aroma. Located just off Asakusabashi Station, the shop has a chic and unassuming exterior, but the sweet smell of melonpan is enough to draw passersby to the shop. They mainly sell plain, chocolate and etc flavored melonpan, but they also sell croissants and apple pies.
Each one is very generous, and you'll feel satisfied even if you only eat one. The outside is crispy, but the inside of the bread is fluffy. One of the best things about this bread is that even after it has cooled down a bit, the texture and aroma of the bread remains almost unchanged.
I think this is a perfect place to eat while strolling around the area.
