スポーツと遊びの屋外型総合アミューズメントパーク、と言える広大な公園です。陸上競技場、野球場、テニスコートといった、主に屋外の競技施設が多数ありますが、勿論遊具のある広場やドッグラン、バーベキュー等の遊びの施設も備わっています。敷地が広大であるため、競技施設以外でもキャッチボールやフリスビーで遊んでいる家族や友人を多く見かけますが、彩湖の周囲は腰までの高さの転落防止用の柵のみであるため、遠くに投げすぎると湖に落ちて回収不可能になってしまうので注意が必要です。
広大な敷地の公園である一方で、お手洗い・休憩するための東屋の数はあまり多くないように見受けられます。競技施設の内部を除けば園内は比較的樹木が多いので、休憩の際は木陰を上手に利用している人が多く見かけられます。お手洗いは公園に到着した際に地図等であらかじめ確認しておいた方がよさそうです。
最寄り駅の西浦和駅からでも徒歩20分近く要するため、この公園の利用者はほぼ車か自転車です（バスの運行もありますが本数は多くありません）。

It is a vast park that can be called a comprehensive outdoor amusement park for sports and fun. There are many outdoor sports facilities such as athletic fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, and of course, playground equipment, dog runs, barbecues, and other play facilities. Because of the vastness of the site, you will see many families and friends playing catch or Frisbee outside of the sports facilities, but be careful because the only fence around Lake Sai is waist-high to prevent falls, so if you throw them too far, they will fall into the lake and become unrecoverable.
While the park has a vast area, there do not seem to be many pavilions for resting and using the restrooms. Except for the interior of the sports facilities, the park is relatively tree-filled, so many people take advantage of the shade when taking a break. It would be a good idea to check the restrooms on the map when you arrive at the park.
It takes almost 20 minutes to walk from the nearest station, Nishiurawa Station, so most of the people who use this park do so by car or bicycle (there is also a bus service, but it is not very frequent).
