鮮やかなベンガラの暖簾が目立つスープカレー専門店です。外装・内装共に吹屋の町並みを損ねることなく、素朴で温かみがあり、とても心地よいです。
『吹屋ふるさと村』自体飲食店はあまり多くはないため、休日のランチタイムは必ずと言っていい程混雑し、行列が出来ます。加えて高齢の方が調理や給仕に携わっていることもあり、空いている時間帯でも注文から料理の給仕まで時間を要することがあります（若いスタッフの方がいらっしゃる時もありますが）。とは言え、町並み全体が急くような雰囲気ではなく、このレストランもとてもゆったりとした雰囲気を醸し出しているので、慌てることなくゆっくりと料理が出来るのを待つのがいいと思います。
このレストランの特徴として、いずれのスープカレーを注文しても、とにかく野菜がたっぷり使われ、しかも程よくスープカレーの味が染み込んでおり、それでも食感が損なわれていないところにあります。一部の野菜は大きめにカットされていることもあり、小さいお子さんはやや食べづらいと感じるかもしれません（ここに限らず、スープカレーを提供するお店では野菜を大きめにカットして提供するところが多いですが）。スープカレーも辛すぎず、町並みに合うような素朴感も感じられ、最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ました。
『吹屋ふるさと村』における一押しのレストランだと思います。

This is a soup curry specialty restaurant easily recognized by its vivid bengara-red noren curtain. Both the exterior and interior blend harmoniously with the historic streetscape of Fukiya, maintaining a simple, warm, and very comfortable atmosphere.
Because Fukiya Furusato Village has relatively few dining options, the restaurant is almost always crowded during lunchtime on weekends, often with lines forming outside. In addition, many of the cooking and serving staff are elderly, so even during off-peak hours it may take some time from ordering to being served (there are occasions when younger staff are present). That said, the village as a whole has a relaxed, unhurried pace, and this restaurant reflects that same calm ambiance. It's best to wait patiently and enjoy the slow rhythm rather than rush.
A defining feature of this restaurant is that every soup curry is generously packed with vegetables. The vegetables are well infused with flavor while still retaining their texture, which is particularly impressive. Some vegetables are cut into fairly large pieces, so younger children may find them a bit difficult to eat (this is common at many soup curry restaurants). The soup itself is not overly spicy and has a rustic, comforting quality that suits the traditional town setting, making it enjoyable from start to finish.
In my opinion, this is one of the top restaurant recommendations in Fukiya Furusato Village.
