予約必須ではありませんが、可能な限り予約をお勧めする洋食レストランです。
秋葉原と上野の中間に位置しますが、御徒町駅からもやや離れているため、昼夜問わず（特に夜は）比較的閑静な場所にあります。周辺に騒がしい居酒屋もほとんど無いため、静かな環境で食事をすることが出来ると思います。
上述の予約推奨の最大の理由は、オーナーお一人で注文・調理・会計を遣り繰りしているためです。そのため予約なしで入店すると、ややぶっきらぼうな対応になりがちです（それでも席に通されれば、距離を保ちつつやや素っ気無いながらも終始確実でテキパキとした接客対応してくれます）。明らかに空席がある場合でも、これ以上対応出来ないと判断された場合は入店を断られる可能性もあります。一品一品丁寧に調理するため、給仕にも時間を要します。席に通されてから会計を済ませ退店するまで、1時間超となることも珍しくありません。
オムライスやタンシチュー、ポークソテーなど、洋食レストランならではの料理が給仕されますが、このレストランならではの目玉料理の一つに、『白いオムライス』があります。オムレツもソースも真っ白で、オムレツはトロトロの半熟状態ではありませんが、ふわふわの食感を保ちつつ形はきちんと整えられています。オムライスの真ん中には半熟卵が入っており、外見からは全く気づきません。オムレツ・ライス・ソースだけでもとても美味しいのですが、そこに半熟卵のトロトロとした食感と風味が加わることでも、素晴らしい体験を得ることが出来ると思います。
このレストランならではのもう一つの特徴が、テーブルだけでなく天井の梁にもビッシリ並べられた、アニメキャラクターのフィギュアです。注文した料理の給仕を待つ間、店内のフィギュアを愛でながら、アニメなどの談議に花を咲かせるのもいいかもしれません。
出入口の扉は手動で、且つ段差があります。上述の通りオーナーお一人で遣り繰りしているため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用はお勧めできません。また支払いも現金もしくはpaypayのみで、クレジットカードは対応していないことにも注意が必要です。

This Western-style restaurant doesn’t require reservations basically, but reservation in advance is highly recommended.
It's located between Akihabara and Ueno, though slightly away from Okachimachi Station, making it a relatively quiet area day and night - especially in the evening. There are few noisy izakayas nearby, so guests can enjoy their meals in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
The main reason for recommending reservations is that the owner single-handedly handles everything - from taking orders and cooking to serving and payment. Because of this, walk-in customers may occasionally find the service a bit curt at first. However, once seated, you'll find the owner’s service efficient, precise, and quietly attentive. Even if there are vacant tables, you might be politely refused entry if the owner judges that he cannot accommodate more guests. Each dish is carefully prepared, so serving takes time; it's not unusual for the entire dining experience to last over an hour from seating to payment.
The menu features classic Western-style Japanese dishes such as omelet rice (omurice), beef tongue stew, and pork sauté. However, the restaurant's signature dish is the "White Omurice". Both the omelet and its sauce are completely white. The omelet isn’t the runny type commonly found in popular omurice restaurants; instead, it has a fluffy yet well-shaped texture. Hidden in the center is a soft-boiled egg-completely invisible from the outside. The harmony of the omelet, rice, and sauce alone is delightful, but when combined with the rich, velvety texture of the soft-boiled egg, it becomes an exceptional culinary experience.
Another charming feature of this restaurant is its décor: anime character figurines line not only the shelves but even the ceiling beams. While waiting for your meal, you can enjoy admiring the collection or chatting about anime with your companions.
Please note that the entrance door is manual and has a step. Because the owner operates the restaurant alone, it's not easily accessible for wheelchair users. Payment is accepted only in cash or via PayPay, credit cards are not accepted.

ひばりヶ丘駅から徒歩2〜3分程度のところにあり、店名にもある通り味噌ラーメンが定評のラーメン店です。
味噌のスープは濃厚でコクがありやや甘め、人によってはややくどく後味が引きやすいと感じるかもしれませんが、一方でクセは強くないように感じました。この店のもう一つの特徴として、トッピングの大きな豚の角煮があります。こちらもじっくりと煮込まれているため柔らかく仕上がっています。豚の角煮も味噌のスープと同様に濃厚な味付けであり、味噌のスープと比較すると甘めの味もやや強め。食べるタイミングが遅くなると角煮が冷えはじめ味もやや鈍くなるように感じるため、温かいうちに食べた方がよさそうです。
テーブル席はあるものの個数は少なく、基本的にカウンター席のみ、と考えた方がよさそうです。そのため大人数での利用は不向きです。加えて店内は（特にカウンター席の後ろの通路は）狭く、出入口には段差もあるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用は不向きです。スーツケースなどの大きな荷物を持ったままでの利用も控えた方がいいでしょう。
スタッフは一様に元気にハキハキと接客対応しており、非常に好感を持つことが出来ました。

This ramen shop, located about a 2-3 minute walk from Hibari-gaoka Station, is well known for its miso ramen, as the name suggests.
The miso-based soup is thick, rich, and slightly sweet. Some people might find it a bit heavy with a lingering aftertaste, but it doesn't have an overly strong or unusual flavor. Another highlight of this restaurant is the large piece of Buta-Kakuni (braised pork belly) served as a topping. It's slowly simmered to a tender texture and has a deep, flavorful seasoning. The pork is also richly flavored and somewhat sweeter compared to the soup. It's best enjoyed while it's still warm.
Although there are a few table seats, the shop mainly consists of counter seating, so it's better suited for solo diners or pairs rather than large groups. The interior is quite narrow - especially the aisle behind the counter - and there's a small step at the entrance, making it difficult to access for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues. It’s also not ideal to bring large luggage such as suitcases.
The staff are energetic, friendly, and attentive, creating a very positive impression overall.

地蔵川の清流と川底に生い茂る梅花藻を、今も変わらず愛でることが出来る宿場町です。
中世・近世の宿場町の面影を残す家屋はほとんど残されておらず、そのほとんどが昭和以降のノスタルジックな雰囲気を醸し出す家屋となっています。とは言え、それらの家屋には今も生活している住民がおり、清流の水を利用して野菜を洗っていたりなどしています。また夏には川沿いを中心に虫取りで遊ぶ子供たちの姿も見かけるため、ここは宿場町そのもの、というより昭和の原風景を楽しむスポットとして訪れるといいかもしれません。
宿場町自体の規模はそれ程大きくはなく、通り沿いの資料館等を利用せず単に周遊するだけであれば1時間と要しません。前述の通りほとんどが一般の家屋であるため、飲食できるカフェやレストラン等はかなり限られています。とは言え、飲食可能なお店もコーヒーやお茶、軽食がメインで、そもそも休日でも観光に訪れる人は少ないため、特段並ぶなど待ち時間等もほとんどなく利用できると思います。
鉄道利用の場合、醒ヶ井駅から徒歩3〜4分程度でアクセス出来ますが、一方で駐車場は皆無に等しいです（あっても銀行の支店専用のため、観光客向けではありません）。車で来る場合、醒ヶ井駅隣接の駐車場を利用するといいでしょう。

Most of the old post town houses from the medieval and early modern periods no longer exist. Instead, the streets are now lined with nostalgic homes built during and after the Showa era (mid-20th century). These are not just preserved buildings - many are still inhabited, and you may see locals washing vegetables in the river's clear water. In summer, children can often be seen catching insects along the riverbanks, creating a peaceful, nostalgic atmosphere.
Rather than visiting it as a fully preserved post town, travelers may find it more rewarding to enjoy it as a place that captures the idyllic rural scenery of Showa-era Japan.
The area itself is not very large; if you simply stroll around without entering the small local museum or exhibits, you can see most of it in under an hour. As most of the buildings are private homes, cafes and restaurants are quite limited. However, the few available offer light meals, coffee, or tea, and since the area rarely gets crowded - even on weekends - you can usually relax without waiting.
If you're coming by train, the town is only a 3-4 minute walk from Samegai Station. However, parking is very limited - the few spots nearby are reserved for bank customers. If you're visiting by car, it's best to use the parking lot adjacent to Samegai Station.

上空から見ると堀の形がほぼ正方形、という堀の造形が非常に美しいことで有名な城址である。平山城ではあるが、周辺との高低差はほぼ皆無に等しい平城のようなもので、堀にはなみなみと水が湛えられている。堀の周囲にしろ石垣の上にしろ、転落防止の柵は無いかあるいは低い柵しかない場合があるため、城址の散策中は充分に注意したい。
明治時代の廃城令により城は破却されたものの、前述の堀以外にも石垣が遺構として残されている。石垣は、大阪城や熊本城等で見られるような、隙間なく整然と石が詰まれたものではないが、それでも遠目で見ると石垣全体として整っており、美しい造形を見せている。
大書院を含めても、1〜2時間程度で散策できると思う。ほとんどの展示物は日本語のみで書かれていることもあり、海外からの観光客からするとやや退屈に思うかもしれないが、日本の城跡好きであれば、（少なくとも城址内には）余計とも思える観光スポットが無いからこそ、遺構を様々な確度で観察することに時間を費やせることが出来るかもしれない。天守台の高さも堀から20mも無く、登りやすいこともこの城の魅力の一つだと思う。
堀の内側に小学校があるのは非常に珍しい。当然、小学校敷地内への（観光客含む）関係者以外の立ち入りは厳しく制限されているため、天守等から小学校敷地への落とし物等には充分に注意したい。

This castle ruin is renowned for the beauty of its moat, which forms an almost perfect square when viewed from above. Although classified as a hirayamajiro (a castle built on slightly elevated ground), the terrain around it's nearly flat, giving it the appearance of a hirajiro (flatland castle). The moat remains filled with water. Visitors should take care when walking around the site, as there are few safety fences along the moat and stone walls - some areas have none or only low barriers.
The castle itself was dismantled following the Meiji government's Haijorei (Castle Abolition Order), yet several features such as the moat and sections of the stone walls still remain. Unlike the precisely fitted stones of Osaka Castle or Kumamoto Castle, these walls were built with more irregular stones; however, when viewed from a distance, their overall structure retains an elegant and harmonious appearance.
Exploring the grounds, including the reconstructed Oshoin (main hall), typically takes about one to two hours. Most of the informational displays are written only in Japanese, so international visitors might find the exhibits somewhat difficult to follow. Nevertheless, for those interested in Japanese castle architecture and history, this simplicity can be refreshing - there are few unnecessary tourist distractions, allowing more time to observe and appreciate the remaining structures from various angles.
The tenshudai (main keep foundation) rises less than 20 meters above the moat, making it relatively easy to climb compared to many other castles. This accessibility is one of the site’s understated charms.
An unusual feature of this castle ruin is that an elementary school stands within the inner moat area. Naturally, entry into the school grounds is strictly prohibited to all non-affiliated visitors, so please be careful not to drop personal belongings from elevated areas such as the tenshudai.

『白鬚明神』の異名を持つ猿田彦命を祭神として祀る、全国の白鬚神社の総本社である。琵琶湖畔に鳥居を浮かべ、風光明媚な風景を愛でることができることから、国内外で人気の観光スポットの一つとなっている。
基本的には車で訪れる場所である。観光バス用の駐車スペースもあるが、神社の前を通る国道161号線は平日・休日・昼夜問わずひっきりなしに車が行き交っているため、駐車場に入るタイミングの見計らい等、難しいと感じるかもしれない（特に境内とは反対の車線）。
境内そのものは、階段による昇降があるもののそれ程広くはなく、周遊するだけであれば30分程度で済む。一方でこの神社には、紫式部、松尾芭蕉、与謝野鉄幹・晶子夫妻など、日本を代表する歌人の歌碑が至るところに設置されている。和歌や俳句、古典好きとしては垂涎の神社の一つと言えよう。
もう一つのこの神社の見どころは、琵琶湖畔の鳥居であるが、対岸へ行くための横断歩道や地下道が無い。無理な横断による事故や大挙して対岸に観光客が押し寄せること、対岸は柵等で固く閉ざされていることから、少なくともこの神社の境内から直接行く方法は存在しない（対岸に行く方法が全く無いわけではないが、かなりの遠回りを強いられる）。鳥居の鑑賞は、境内の高台等からの眺望を楽しむ方がよさそうだ。

Shirahige Shrine, dedicated to Sarutahiko-no-Mikoto - also known as "Shirahige Myojin" - is the head shrine of all Shirahige Shrines across Japan. With its iconic torii gate standing in the waters of Lake Biwa, the site has become a popular attraction both domestically and internationally for its scenic beauty.
Access is primarily by car. While there is parking available, including spaces for tour buses, National Route 161 that runs directly in front of the shrine is constantly busy with traffic regardless of weekday, weekend, day, or night. Entering or exiting the parking area can be difficult, especially for cars coming from the opposite lane of traffic.
The shrine grounds themselves are not very large. Although there are some stairways to climb, a full circuit of the precinct can be completed in about 30 minutes. However, what makes this shrine especially appealing to lovers of Japanese literature is the large number of monuments inscribed with poems by some of Japan’s most celebrated poets, such as Murasaki Shikibu, Matsuo Bashō, and the poet couple Tekkan and Akiko Yosano. For those with an interest in waka, haiku, or classical literature, this shrine is a true delight.
Another highlight is the torii gate standing in Lake Biwa. However, there is no pedestrian crossing or underpass that allows direct access to the lakeside opposite the shrine. Attempting to cross the busy road is dangerous, and the lakeshore directly across is fenced off to prevent large crowds from gathering. While it's technically possible to reach the opposite shore by taking a long detour, there is no direct route from the shrine grounds. Therefore, the best way to enjoy the torii is to admire the view from within the shrine grounds, especially from higher vantage points.

過度な期待をしないこと、パビリオンに入れなければ大屋根リングの上などから景色を眺めたり床や屋外展示物の発見をしたり、など、パビリオンのために並んでいたら発見できなかった探索を楽しむこと。目的のパビリオンやイベントに参加できなくても、そのように思考を切り替えれば、意外にも楽しめたり思わぬ発見に心躍らせることが出来ます。これは、大阪万博に限らず世界のどこの世界規模の大型イベントでも言えたことでもあります。各国のパビリオンの外に設置されているステージ等で、ダンスや音楽などのパフォーマンスを観て楽しむ、というのも、万博の楽しみ方の一つと言えます。
このような世界規模の大規模イベントの口コミは、高評価と低評価がはっきりと分かれます。高評価の大多数が幸運にも目的のイベントに参加出来たり展示物を鑑賞出来たり、あるいはたまたま比較的空いている時に訪問出来たかのいずれかです。過去の万博の口コミも含め、信頼出来る口コミソースが最も少ない部類の一つ、と言えるでしょう。
多くのパビリオンが大屋根リング内に集中しているため、場内はかなり密集している印象であり、さらに連日の混雑振りで、場所によってはかなり息苦しいと感じるかもしれません。それもあってか多くのパビリオンにおいて予約必須となっていますが、それも予約できること自体が稀、という有様です。人気パビリオンでは2時間超の行列は当たり前で、グループで参加した場合列の途中での合流は不可であるため、お手洗い等は出来る限り早めに済ませる必要があります。また休憩場所も少なく、パビリオン参加のために何時間も並んで待つのであれば、携帯イスはほぼ必須と言えるでしょう。それでも、19時を過ぎるといくつかのパビリオンは予約どころか列に並ばなくても入ることが出来るため、空いている時間帯に訪れるのも一つの手です。
万博あるあるですが、全てのパビリオンが万博のテーマに沿った展示をしているとは言い難いです（今回の万博のテーマは、『いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン』）。いくつかのパビリオンでは、意図的に調べることをしなければそもそも知ることすら無かった出来事やそれに対する対策・研究等もあります。エンターテインメント前面ではなく、こういったテーマに向き合った展示を鑑賞するのも大きな意味があると思います。
パビリオン含むいずれの飲食可能なレストラン等も軒並み大混雑であるだけでなく、入場規制すらあるため、コンビニエンスストア等で事前に軽食や飲料を購入し、持ち込んだ方がいいかもしれません。なお飲料専用の自動販売機は、場内に多数設置されています。

Even if you cannot enter a pavilion, you can still enjoy the Expo by exploring the Grand Roof Ring, admiring the views, or noticing the details of the floors and outdoor installations - things you would have missed if you had spent the day waiting in line. By shifting your mindset in this way, you may find unexpected enjoyment and discoveries that excite you, even if you cannot attend the pavilion or event you originally hoped for. This approach applies not only to Expo 2025 Osaka but also to any large-scale international event. Watching dance, music, or other performances on the outdoor stages in front of various national pavilions is another way to experience the Expo.
Reviews of such global events tend to be sharply divided between high and low ratings. Most positive reviews come from those who were lucky enough to attend their target events or exhibitions, or who happened to visit during relatively quiet times. For this reason, Expo reviews - past and present - may be among the least reliable sources to rely on.
Since many pavilions are concentrated inside the Grand Roof Ring, the grounds can feel very crowded, and with the constant flow of visitors, some areas may even feel suffocating. This is why most pavilions require reservations - though securing one is itself rare. At popular pavilions, waits of more than two hours are common, and groups are not allowed to rejoin lines midway, so it's best to use the restroom well in advance. Rest areas are also limited, so if you plan to queue for hours, a portable folding chair is almost essential. That said, after 7:00 p.m. some pavilions allow entry without either reservations or lines, making late evening a practical option.
As with any world expo, not all pavilions strictly adhere to the official theme (this time: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”). Still, some exhibits highlight issues, countermeasures, and research you may never have encountered otherwise. These more theme-driven displays, though less entertainment-focused, can be especially meaningful.
Restaurants and eateries inside the grounds, including those within the pavilions, are also extremely crowded, sometimes even imposing entry restrictions. It may be wise to purchase snacks and drinks at convenience stores beforehand and bring them with you. That said, there are many vending machines inside the venue for beverages.

抹茶や柚子を使用したラテやお茶もありますが、多くのメニューはどちらかと言えば河口湖に観光に訪れた外国人観光客向けのように思います（ドリンク、ケーキ、軽食に至るまで高めの価格設定であることもありますが）。とは言え、いずれのドリンク、軽食も濃すぎず重すぎず、誰もが口にしやすいように仕上がっていると思います。一方でケーキに添えられている生クリームがかなり水っぽいように感じます。
カフェ内だけでなくオープンテラス席もあり、昼まであればやや冷たく心地よい空気を感じながらドリンクや軽食を堪能することが出来ますが、河口湖周辺は山に囲まれていることから太陽が山に沈むと急激に空気が冷たくなり、人によってはオープンテラスで飲食を継続するのは難しいと感じるかもしれません。
会計カウンターであらかじめ注文と会計を済ませ、ドリンクのみであればその場で渡されますが、軽食が含まれる場合、着席した席に給仕してくれます。調理も含め外国人スタッフで構成されているのも、このカフェがどちらかと言えば外国人観光客向け、という印象を持たせます。基本的に接客は丁寧ですが、スタッフ同士のおしゃべりに興じる姿もよく見かけます。スタッフを呼んでもたまに気づかれずそのまま放置されるケースもあるため、そこはそういうものだと割り切るしかないのかもしれません。

Some visitors may find it too chilly to remain on the terrace in the late afternoon or evening.
Orders and payment are made first at the counter. Drinks are served immediately, while light meals are brought to your table after preparation. The staff, including those in the kitchen, are mostly non-Japanese, which adds to the impression that this cafe caters largely to foreign tourists. Service is generally polite, though it's not uncommon to see staff chatting among themselves. Occasionally they may fail to notice when you are trying to call them, leaving you unattended for a while. It may be best to accept this as part of the experience.

1890年（明治23年）創業の、100年以上の歴史を持つ老舗のかき氷専門店です。
天然の氷を使用しており、こんもり・たっぷりとした盛り付け、溶けにくさ、それでいて柔らかくサラサラとした口どけは今も尚好評で、平日休日問わず長蛇の列が出来ます。とは言え、提供されるのはかき氷のみであるため、客の回転は悪くなく、例え並び初めで30人程居ても10〜20分程度で着席することが出来ると思います。古民家を活用した屋内客席と、オープンテラスの客席があり、席数も多く、ほとんどの客席は3〜4人向けに構成されています。
屋内の客席スペースは、照明はほの暗く、大正〜昭和初期の土間や書斎のような古き良き雰囲気を醸し出しています。一方のオープンテラス席は、外の空気と日の光をたっぷり浴びることが出来る、爽やかな雰囲気です。ところどころ置かれているエキセントリックなオブジェが何とも興味を引き付けますが、決して場の雰囲気を壊すものではありません。
前述の通り、平日休日及び時間帯問わず待ち列が出来るため、列に並ぶ間にスタッフがメニューを配り、頃合いを見て注文を聞いてきます。席に通されればあとは注文したかき氷が給仕されるのを待つのみです。給仕と同時に会計を済ませる必要があります（会計カウンターは存在しません）。会計は現金のみであることに注意が必要です。スタッフは、これらの一連の流れを非常にテキパキと誘導し、且つ丁寧な接客対応で非常に好感を持てました。
いずれのかき氷も、どんなに安くても1000円を超える値段ではありますが、前述の通りたっぷりとした盛り付けに柔らかくサラサラとした口どけであるため、その値段に見合う定評があるように思います。シロップ含むトッピングは、小豆餡、白餡、抹茶餡など、いわゆる和のテイストのものが主流で、いずれも控えめな甘さなのが特徴です。イチゴなどのフルーツを使用したシロップもありますが、フルーツの素材を活用したものであり、酸っぱく感じるかもしれません（それもあってか、氷みつや練乳と一緒に食べるといいでしょう）。
とは言え、この店の魅力はかき氷だけでなくトッピングの種類も豊富であることから、間違いなくリピート客は多く居るでしょう。是非、一度は訪れてほしい店の一つだと思います。

Even if about 30 people are waiting when you arrive, you can usually be seated within 10-20 minutes. Seating includes both an indoor area using a renovated traditional house and an open-air terrace. Most tables seat 3-4 people.
The indoor seating is dimly lit, evoking the nostalgic atmosphere of an early 20th-century Japanese home, while the terrace seating allows you to enjoy fresh air and natural sunlight in a refreshing setting. Some eccentric decorative objects are scattered around, which add interest without disrupting the overall mood.

富士山をはじめ、甲府盆地と盆地を囲む山々の絶景を一望できる露天風呂です。雄大な景色を眺めながら湯に浸かれる温泉はいくつもありますが、それらに負けず劣らずの極上のひと時を過ごすことが出来るスポットだと思います。曇りの日の場合、富士山が雲で隠れてしまいますが、それでも眼下の甲府盆地の街並みの景色は素晴らしく、それだけでも来た甲斐があると思います。
日の出の1時間前から営業開始、という一風変わった営業時間ですが、夜の22時まで営業しています。そのためこの温泉のマニアは、駐車場で車中泊した後、日の出を見計らって湯船に浸かったり、夜の満点の星空を眺めながら湯に浸かる、という極上の体験をしています。
場所柄、ほとんど車のみのアクセスとなります（路線バスはありません）。道程のいくつかの箇所は坂の傾斜が急になっているため、運転には注意が必要です。幸い道幅は広く、反対車線の車の通過を譲る必要はなくすれ違えるだけの余裕はあります。
『あっちの湯』と『こっちの湯』の2つがあり、全体的な浴場と湯舟の広さは『あっちの湯』が広いですが、『こっちの湯』は、（岩造りの湯船もあるものの）リラックス効果のある木造の湯船に浸かりながら、真正面の雄大な富士山を眺めることが出来ます。お湯は比較的ぬるめであるため、熱いお湯が苦手な人でもゆったり湯に浸かることが出来ると思います（内風呂はやや熱め、という感じでした）。（立地や設備の都合上だと思いますが）サウナはありません。
各温泉施設に入る際に事前に券売機でチケットを購入する必要がありますが、（敷地内の休憩所など）敷地そのものは誰でも無料で立ち入ることが出来ます。建物・ロッカー含む施設の至るところで古めかしさを感じますが、そこもこの温泉施設ならではの魅力の一つになっているのかもしれません。

This open-air hot spring offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mt.Fuji, the Kofu basin, and the surrounding mountain ranges. While many hot springs in Japan allow you to soak while admiring magnificent scenery, this spot stands out as equally remarkable, providing a truly unforgettable experience. On cloudy days, unfortunately Mt.Fuji may be hidden by clouds, but the view of the Kofu basin below is still stunning and makes the visit worthwhile.
The facility has unique operating hours, opening one hour before sunrise and closing at 10:00 PM. Enthusiasts often stay overnight in their cars in the parking lot to enjoy the bath exactly at sunrise or to soak while gazing at a star-filled night sky - an extraordinary experience.
Access is almost exclusively by car (no public buses are available). Some sections of the road are steep, so careful driving is required, but the roads are wide enough to pass oncoming vehicles without difficulty.
There are two main bathing areas: "Acchi-no-Yu" and "Kocchi-no-Yu". The former is larger overall, with more spacious baths, while the latter features soothing wooden tubs (in addition to rock baths) where you can relax while facing Mt.Fuji directly. The outdoor baths are kept at a moderately warm temperature, making them comfortable even for those who dislike very hot water (the indoor baths are somewhat hotter). Note that there is no sauna, likely due to the location and facilities.
To enter either bathing area, you must first purchase a ticket from a vending machine. However, the grounds themselves, including the rest area, are freely accessible to anyone. The facilities, including the buildings and lockers, have an old-fashioned feel, which may actually add to the charm and character of this hot spring.

尾張徳川家伝来の美術品や宝物を主に展示する美術館。収蔵する美術品は主に徳川家もしくは徳川家家臣の伝来のものであるが、源氏物語絵巻や豊国祭礼図など、数多くの国宝や重要文化財も擁する。特段何らかのイベントが開催されていなくても、一度は訪れたい美術館の一つだと思う。
1935年に竣工、一般公開された美術館であるため、（何度か改修工事はされているものの）昭和初期のモダンな面影が感じられ、美術品だけでなく、美術館そのものも充分に鑑賞し楽しむことが出来ると思う。
建物内は、建物として他の同規模の美術館と比較すると、展示室・通路含め入り組んだ造りになっており、一部の通路もやや狭いように感じる。また、展示品保護のため、各展示室とも照明はやや暗い（これは他の美術館でも同様のことが言えるが）。小さな子供連れで訪れた場合、迷子にならないよう配慮が必要になると思う。
美術館には珍しく、（私用目的に限り）写真撮影が可能である。勿論、フラッシュや三脚等の安定化器具の使用は厳禁で、全ての展示品が写真撮影可ではないことにも注意が必要である。

This museum primarily showcases art and treasures handed down through the Owari Tokugawa family. While most of the collection originates from the Tokugawa clan and their retainers, the museum also houses numerous National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties, such as illustrated scrolls of The Tale of Genji and the Hokoku Festival Screens. Even if no special exhibitions are being held, it's still one of the museums well worth visiting at least once.
Completed and opened to the public in 1935, the building retains a modern architectural style from the early Showa period, despite undergoing several renovations. As a result, visitors can appreciate not only the artworks on display but also the atmosphere and design of the museum itself.
Compared to other museums of similar size, the interior layout is somewhat intricate, with narrow passageways and corridors in certain areas. Lighting in the exhibition rooms is kept rather dim to protect the artworks, which may make the space feel subdued (a practice common in many museums). Families with small children should take care to avoid children getting lost.
Unusually for a museum, photography is permitted for personal use. However, the use of flash, tripods, or stabilizing equipment is strictly prohibited, and not every item on display is available for photography - visitors should pay attention to signage and rules.

錦糸町駅から徒歩7〜8分程度のところにある、駅に近いとんかつ定食屋であるものの、周囲が閑静な住宅街であるからか、静かな環境で食事をすることが出来ます。連日のように行列ができ、開店前にも列が出来る程の人気店ですが、気軽に利用できるところではないと思います。
店内では、給仕される料理含め一切の撮影・録音・録画が禁止なのが有名な食堂で、それ以外は明確に禁止されていないものの、利用客に強いている項目がいくつかあると感じるかもしれません。客席はカウンター席5席と4人向けのテーブル席が2つで、可能な限り多くの客に食事をしてもらうため、相席利用は必須です。高齢の店主が1人で切り盛りしているからか、開店が10〜20分遅れることがあります。注文を受け付けてから調理を開始するため、給仕までに30分程度要します。ランチタイム・ディナータイムともに約2時間の開店であるため、注文から給仕まで30分、給仕後の食事に30分程度と考えた場合、客席が全て埋まり利用客が食事を終えて全て入れ替えるのを1サイクルと考えると、2サイクル、よくて3サイクル分回れば閉店となると思います。もし行列の待ち客が20人を超えていれば、その時間帯の食事は不可能と考えた方がいいでしょう。加えて食堂はBGM等はなく静かで、お喋りは特段禁止になっていないものの、その環境につられ、ほとんどの客が声量を小さめに抑えた上でお喋りをしています。メニュー始めほぼ全ての掲示物が日本語で表示されており、且つ会計は現金のみであるため、海外からの旅行者は利用しづらいと感じるかもしれません。
ですが、上記の制約を物ともしない、と言わんばかりに、給仕されるとんかつは非常に美味しいです。（見た目からの判断ですが）低温熟成のとんかつであるため、給仕に時間を要し、見た目は肉はやや火が通っていないように見受けられますが、熱は肉の芯まできちんと通っており、また非常に柔らかく拵えられているのが分かります。時間が経過しても肉は硬くならず、肉の芯まで通っている熱も逃げず、最後まで美味しくいただけると思います。衣も油っこくなりすぎずサクサクとした食感で、肉の柔らかさや味付けを一切邪魔していません。
店主は非常に柔らかい物腰で接客してくださいました。その一方で調理の際は非常に真剣な眼差しで調理していました。恐らく効率的に経営することを優先的に考えておらず、ご自身の体調等を優先し、その上で質の高い料理を提供する、というポリシーの持ち主では、と感じました。

This is a tonkatsu set-meal diner located about a 7-8 minute walk from Kinshicho Station. Although it's close to the station, it sits in a quiet residential neighborhood, allowing for a peaceful dining experience. It's a very popular diner, with lines forming daily - even before opening - but it's not a casual, quick-use spot.
Inside, photography, audio recording, and video recording of any kind are strictly prohibited, which the diner is well known for. While other rules are not explicitly enforced, some visitors might notice certain expectations for behavior. Seating consists of five counter seats and two tables for four, and due to limited space, sharing tables with other customers is required. The elderly owner runs the diner alone, so opening can be delayed by 10-20 minutes. Cooking begins only after an order is placed, so service takes around 30 minutes. With lunch and dinner service each lasting about two hours, if you factor in 30 minutes for service and 30 minutes for eating, the diner completes two, or at best three, full dining cycles before closing. If more than 20 people are already waiting in line, it's unlikely you will be able to dine at that time.
The diner is quiet, without background music, and although conversation is not forbidden, most customers speak in low voices to match the serene atmosphere. Almost all menus and notices are in Japanese, and payment is cash only, so overseas travelers may find it challenging to navigate.
However, these constraints are easily forgiven once the tonkatsu is served - it's truly delicious. Judging by appearance, it seems to be low-temperature aged tonkatsu, which explains the longer preparation time. The meat may look slightly undercooked, but it's fully cooked to the core and remains very tender. The meat does not harden over time, and it retains heat and flavor until the last bite. The coating is crispy without being greasy, perfectly complementing the meat’s tenderness and seasoning.
The owner is exceptionally polite and soft-spoken with customers, yet his focus during cooking is intense and serious. It seems his priority is not efficiency, but rather maintaining his own health while delivering high-quality dishes - a philosophy that clearly comes through in every meal.

城郭を有する都市型城跡公園としては日本最大級となる公園である。
大阪城や豊国神社を始め、公園内の各施設を利用しなくても、石垣などの園内の史跡を鑑賞しつつ収集するだけでも、2〜3時間程度では収まり切れないだろう。そのため、各所にベンチや石造りの腰掛が設置されている。（一部を除き）公園自体は無料で、しかも24時間解放されているため、様々な人が散策やジョギング等に訪れる。一方で重要な史跡がところどころにあることや、堀に水を湛えているため、基本的に指定場所以外のボールやフリスビーを使用した遊びは禁止である。同時に遊具が設置された子供用の遊び場も限られている。
大阪城天守がある高台と、公園入口の標高差は30m程であるが、公園内に限定すればほぼ高低差はなく、高台に至るまでの道程も緩やかな坂道であるため、杖等が無くても気軽に行き来することが出来る。但し、一部の歩道は狭いため、譲り合って通行したい。
梅や桜、紅葉など、四季折々の様相を愛でつつ散策することが出来るが、樹木などの日差しを避けるスポットが意外に少なく、特に真夏下においては、準備をせずに散策すると熱中症にかかる可能性があることに注意したい。加えて、上述の通り公園内の散策だけでもかなりの時間を要するので、歩きやすい服装・靴は必須と言える。一方で、広大な公園であればよく見かける、有料で園内を周遊するロードトレインもあるため、気軽に利用してみるといいだろう。

This is one of the largest urban castle-ruin parks in Japan. Even without visiting Osaka Castle, Hokoku Shrine, or other facilities inside the grounds, simply exploring the historic sites such as the massive stone walls can easily take two to three hours. For this reason, benches and stone seats are placed throughout the park. Entry to the park itself is free (with some exceptions) and it's open 24 hours a day, attracting visitors who come to walk, jog, or simply enjoy the scenery. However, because of the important historic remains and the presence of moats filled with water, activities like ball games or frisbee are prohibited outside designated areas. Children's playground equipment is also limited.
The difference in elevation between the main entrance and the castle keep area is about 30 meters, but within the park itself the paths are mostly flat, and the climb to the castle is along a gentle slope. Most people can walk up without difficulty, even without a cane. Some walkways are narrow, though, so visitors are encouraged to be considerate and share the paths.
The park is especially beautiful with seasonal scenery - plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, and autumn foliage - but there are fewer shaded areas than one might expect. In midsummer, it can be dangerously hot, so visitors should prepare properly to avoid heatstroke. Since walking through the park takes considerable time, comfortable clothing and shoes are highly recommended. At the same time, for those who prefer a more relaxed experience, there is also a paid road train service that tours the grounds, offering an easy way to see the park.

江坂駅から徒歩1〜2分程度のところにあるビジネスホテルです。江坂駅自体が新大阪駅から2駅程度、という近さであるため、新幹線の利用及び大阪市内への移動の拠点だけでなく、吹田・豊中方面の観光の拠点としても便利です。
但し、ホテルとしての難もいくつかあります。まずエレベーターが1基しかありません。このホテルは基本的に1フロアあたり20客室も無く、他の都市型ビジネスホテルと比較すると敷地面積が狭いです（各客室の広さは他のビジネスホテルと同程度です）。平時の部屋の稼働状況を鑑みると1基の方が効率がいいのかもしれませんが、特に朝の出発時等は、エレベーターのフロア到着にかなり待たされたり、満杯で乗れない可能性があります。
さらに、各客室フロアの通路の一部は、壁や窓ガラスの遮蔽物が無く、マンションのフロアの廊下のように開放された造りになっています（転落防止の柵はありますが）。風の強い日は帽子などが飛ばされる可能性があることに充分注意が必要です。
客室内が綺麗に保たれているのは言うまでもないですが、白と黒を基調としたインテリアはやや派手に感じ、さらに部屋によっては壁や浴衣入れの扉が鏡張りなっており、落ち着かない印象です。小物類を置くテーブルの色もよく手入れされた黒で、（財布などの）小物入れが黒の場合、テーブルの色に紛れて紛失したと勘違いしてしまうのではないか、と思うくらいです。
一方で、これらを事前に注意事項として仕入れていれば、宿泊場所としては非常に良好です。近隣が繁華街であるため食事場所に困ることは無く、コンビニエンスストアも複数軒あるため、食料の調達にも困ることはありません。

This business hotel is located just a 1-2 minute walk from Esaka Station. Since Esaka is only two stops away from Shin-Osaka Station, the hotel is very convenient not only as a base for travelers using the Shinkansen or heading into central Osaka, but also for exploring the Suita and Toyonaka areas.
However, there are a few drawbacks to consider. First, the hotel has only one elevator. Each floor contains fewer than 20 rooms, and the property itself is smaller than many other city business hotels (though the rooms are of standard size). While a single elevator might be efficient given the usual occupancy, during busy times - especially in the mornings - you may need to wait longer for it to arrive, or it may be too full to board.
Additionally, some of the corridors on the guestroom floors are open-air, with no walls or glass windows, resembling the layout of an apartment building (there are safety railings). On windy days, you should take care to secure hats and other belongings so they are not blown away.
The rooms themselves are clean and well-maintained, but the black-and-white décor may feel somewhat flashy. In some rooms, the walls and closet doors are mirrored, which can give an unsettled impression. The tables for small items are also finished in glossy black, which may cause wallets or other dark items to blend in, creating the impression that they've been misplaced.
That said, if you are aware of these points in advance, the hotel is overall a very good place to stay. Its location in a lively downtown area means that dining options are plentiful, and there are several convenience stores nearby, making it easy to pick up food and daily necessities.

道頓堀の法善寺横丁にある小さな寺院です。
境内を周遊するだけであれば10分と要さず、目を見張るような宝物があるわけではありません。周囲を道頓堀の大小様々な商店に囲まれているため、昼夜問わず商業エリアの活気の喧騒を耳にするのですが、それにも関わらずどことなく商業エリアとは異なる雰囲気が不思議と醸し出され、訪れる人々もあまり騒がず参拝します。
境内が狭いため10人のグループともなれば狭苦しさを感じてしまうでしょう。そのため、少人数での参拝をお勧めします。
前述の通り、目を見張るものではなく、ただ静かに鎮座しているだけですが、この寺院ならではの特徴として『水掛不動尊』の像があります。願いを込めて水を掛けると願いが叶うと言い伝えられており、多くの人に水を掛けられ、今や全身が苔むしています。必ず水を掛けなければならない、ということはありませんが、日常のささやかな願いのために水掛してみるといいでしょう。

This is a small temple located in Hozen-ji Yokocho, right in the Dotonbori area.
A full visit takes less than 10 minutes, and there are no particularly striking treasures on display. Surrounded by the bustling shops and restaurants of Dotonbori, you can always hear the sounds of the commercial district, day or night. Yet, despite this lively environment, the temple itself somehow creates a distinctly different, quieter atmosphere where visitors tend to show respect and refrain from making noise.
Because the temple precincts are quite small, even a group of around ten people would likely feel cramped. For this reason, visiting in smaller groups is recommended.
As mentioned, the temple does not have anything spectacular to display, but it does have one unique feature: the Mizukake Fudo-son statue. It's said that pouring water over the statue while making a wish will help that wish come true. Over the years, countless visitors have poured water, and now the entire statue is covered with moss. While it’s not mandatory to pour water, many people enjoy doing so for their everyday, modest wishes.

東海道・山陽本線のJR総持寺駅から10分も満たないところにある真言宗の寺院。閑静な住宅街に囲まれているため、平日休日問わず喧騒をほとんど感じさせない寺院である。JR総持寺駅自体、各駅停車しか停まらない駅であることもあり、遠方からわざわざ訪れる人も少ない。それゆえ、ゆったり境内を散策できる寺院の一つと言える。もっとも、住宅街に囲まれた寺院であるため境内もそれ程広くはなく、周遊するだけであれば30分と要しない。それでも、近隣住民にとっては交流の場の一つとして大切に活用されており、それもあってか、境内は綺麗に保たれているだけでなく、交流の場としてカフェが併設されている。
境内にはやや小ぶりな日本庭園と池があり、数尾の鯉が元気よく泳いでいる。草木も良く手入れされ、種類は多くはないが四季の花々も愛でることが出来る。一方で、他の寺院や神社等によく見られる背の高い樹木がほとんど見られない（低木ならあるが）。その分、境内の見晴らしはいいのだが、（周辺環境に配慮した結果なのかもしれないが）やや寂しさを感じるかもしれない。住宅街の寺院とは言え、典型的な都会型の寺院に整備されている、と言える。

This is a Shingon Buddhist temple located less than a 10-minute walk from JR Soji-ji Station on the Tokaido-Sanyo Main Line. Surrounded by a quiet residential neighborhood, it feels calm and free from noise whether you visit on weekdays or weekends. Since JR Soji-ji Station is a local stop where only regular trains stop, few people travel from afar specifically to visit this temple. As a result, it remains one of the temples where you can take your time and stroll around the precincts without crowds. That said, because it’s surrounded by houses, the precincts are not very large, and a simple circuit of the area will take no more than 30 minutes. Even so, the temple plays an important role as a gathering place for local residents. The precincts are kept very clean, and there is even a small café attached, emphasizing its role as a community hub.
Within the precincts you will find a modest Japanese garden and pond, home to a few lively koi fish. The greenery is well maintained, and although the variety of plants is limited, seasonal flowers can still be enjoyed throughout the year. Unlike many other temples and shrines, there are very few tall trees here (though you will find some smaller shrubs). This makes the precincts feel open with good visibility, but it may also feel a little bare - perhaps as a result of blending in with the surrounding residential area. In any case, it’s a temple that reflects the style of a typical "urban neighborhood temple", compact yet carefully maintained.

服部天神駅から徒歩5分も満たないところにある神社です。住宅街に囲まれており、境内の敷地はそれ程大きくはなく、周遊するだけであれば30分と要しません。近隣を鉄道が通り、また車の行き来も多い道路に囲まれているため、日中は平日休日問わずやや喧騒を感じますが、それでも大阪市街地から離れている分休日でも参拝客はそれ程多くはありません。
名称に『天神』とあるように、他の天神の神社と同様に、拝殿の柱や梁のやや落ち着いた色合いの朱色がとても良く映えます。境内の隅々に至るまで綺麗に保たれており、長い年月近隣住民にとても親しまれているのがよく分かります。周辺散策のコースの一つとして訪れてみるといいかもしれません。
菅原道真が大宰府に左遷され任地に赴く過程で脚気に襲われた際、平癒祈願をしたところたちまち快復したことから、『足の神様』として崇敬を受けるようになった、という言い伝えがあります。それもあってか、主に脚を使うスポーツ、特にガンバ大阪の選手の怪我防止や必勝祈願としてこの神社に参拝に訪れるのだそうです。

This shrine is located less than a five-minute walk from Hattori Tenjin Station. Surrounded by residential neighborhoods, the grounds are not very large, and simply walking around the entire site takes less than 30 minutes. Because rail tracks run nearby and busy roads surround the area, you can sense some noise during the day on both weekdays and weekends. Still, since it's away from central Osaka, the number of worshippers remains relatively low, even on holidays.
As the name "Tenjin" suggests, the shrine shares the same style as other Tenjin shrines, with the subdued yet vivid vermilion color of its pillars and beams standing out beautifully. The grounds are kept clean and well-maintained down to the smallest corners, clearly showing how long and deeply the shrine has been cherished by local residents. It may be worth visiting as part of a neighborhood walking route.
According to tradition, when Sugawara no Michizane was demoted to Dazaifu and fell ill with beriberi on the way, he prayed here for recovery. He soon regained his health, and since then the shrine has been venerated as a place to worship the "God of Legs". Because of this, many athletes - especially players from the local soccer team Gamba Osaka - visit to pray for injury prevention and success in matches.

麴町駅から徒歩4〜5分程度の、小規模なビルが建ち並ぶ街中にあるラーメン店です。店の外観自体、特段目立つものではありませんが、店の近隣は飲食店が密集するように建ち並んでいないため、比較的容易に見つけることが出来ると思います。
店内は比較的狭く、席数も20席もありません。テーブル席もあるもののテーブルや椅子の構造上カウンター席と同じとみていいでしょう。そのため車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や、スーツケースなどの大きな荷物を持っての利用はお勧めできません。また席数の少なさからも大人数での利用もお勧めできません。
店外の出入口付近に設置されている券売機で予め食券を購入する必要があります。券売機の各ボタンは日本語だけでなく英語の併記もあること、ヴィーガン向けの料理もあることから、外国人観光客の利用も多く見られます。完全キャッシュレスですが、初訪の方は操作方法が分かりづらく、かなり手間取るかもしれません。
給仕される料理は、ラーメンだけでなくつけ麺もあります。ラーメンやヴィーガン向けの麺料理の方が人気だからか、それらは昼食時間帯で売り切れることが多く、夜はつけ麺しかないことがあります。さっぱりしながらも酸味と辛味を調和させたスープが特徴で、麺や具材との相性は抜群で、絶妙な味わいになります。一方でスープのみの場合、酸味と辛味が強く感じるように思い、もしかしたら好みが分かれるかもしれません。

This ramen restaurant is about a 4-5 minute walk from Kojimachi Station, located in a street lined with small buildings. The exterior of the restaurant is not particularly eye-catching, but since there aren’t many other restaurants clustered nearby, it should be relatively easy to spot.
The interior is quite small, with fewer than 20 seats. While there are some table seats, their design and spacing make them essentially the same as counter seats. For this reason, it is not recommended for wheelchair users, people carrying large luggage such as suitcases, or large groups.
You must purchase a meal ticket in advance from a vending machine located near the entrance outside. The machine’s buttons display both Japanese and English, and the restaurant offers vegan-friendly dishes, so it is also frequented by foreign tourists. The restaurant is entirely cashless, but first-time visitors may find the machine's operation a bit confusing and time-consuming.
The menu includes both ramen and tsukemen. Ramen and vegan noodle dishes tend to be more popular, and these often sell out by lunchtime, leaving only tsukemen available in the evening. The soup is light yet well-balanced between sourness and spiciness, pairing excellently with the noodles and toppings to create a refined flavor. However, when tasted on its own, the soup’s sourness and spiciness can be quite strong, which may divide preferences.

戸越銀座商店街沿いの飲食店の一つです。小ぢんまりとしたお店ではありますが狭苦しさは感じず、誰もが気軽に立ち寄れる雰囲気のラーメン店だと思います。出入口が手動の引き戸であること、加えて段差があるため（スロープが設置されているものの勾配が急に感じました）、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用はあまりお勧めできません。
入口付近に設置されている券売機で食券をあらかじめ購入する必要があります。（店内の掲示物もそうですが）全て日本語表記で、しかもあらかじめお金を入れないと一切の反応が無いため、初めて利用する人にはやや操作が分かりづらいと感じるかもしれません。
この店のラーメンの特徴は、麺・スープ・トッピングのいずれもしっかりと拵えられているところです。スープは濃厚ながらくど過ぎず後味も悪くなく、麺にしっかりと絡みます。トッピングの具材も程よい柔らかさで均一に味付けされています。空いている時間帯でも給仕にやや時間を要することからも、いずれに料理にもしっかりと拵えられていることが良く分かります。
スタッフの接客対応はハキハキとし、それでいて丁寧でとても好感を持てました。

This ramen shop is located along the lively Togoshi Ginza Shopping Street. While the space is modest in size, it doesn’t feel cramped, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming-perfect for anyone looking to drop in for a quick meal.
However, please note that the entrance has a manually operated sliding door and a step, which may pose accessibility issues. Although a ramp is installed, its steep incline might make it difficult for wheelchair users or those with mobility challenges.

What truly sets this ramen restaurant apart is the quality and care put into each component of the dish - no shortcuts. The soup is rich and flavorful without being overly heavy, and it pairs well with the noodles. The toppings are tender and evenly seasoned, enhancing the overall experience. Even during off-peak hours, dish preparation takes a little time, which speaks to the attention given to each bowl.
Staff members are cheerful, articulate, and polite, leaving a very positive impression overall.

曹洞宗の寺院の一つで、明治時代まで今川氏の菩提寺であった。
荻窪駅や西武新宿線の上井草駅からかなり離れていること（徒歩で20分超を要する）、頻繁に車が往来するほどの道路が近隣にないからか、都心に近い寺院であるにも関わらず静謐で凛とした空気をまとっている。周遊するだけであれば30分程度の広さではあるが、境内の庭園が非常に素晴らしく（庭園内には立ち入れない）、庭園を愛でつつ境内を散策するだけでも素晴らしい時間を過ごすことが出来ると思う。
枝垂桜や紅葉も素晴らしいが、個人的にお勧めする来訪の時期は初夏。とりわけ瑞々しい木々の緑が都心に近い寺院とは思えない情景を醸し出す。日中は暑さを感じるものの散策には最適な時期だと思う（逆に真夏になると暑すぎて散策には適さない）。庭園前に2脚のベンチがあるため、腰を掛けつつ庭園を愛でるのも良い。但し境内は、水分補給はともかく食事は原則禁止（喫煙は言わずもがな）。

This is a Soto Zen Buddhist temple that served as the family temple (bodaiji) of the Imagawa clan until the Meiji era.
Although the temple is located relatively close to central Tokyo, it feels remarkably quiet and dignified. This tranquil atmosphere may be due to its distance from nearby train stations - over 20 minutes on foot from both Ogikubo Station and Kami-Igusa Station (Seibu Shinjuku Line) - as well as the absence of any major roads with heavy traffic nearby.
The temple precincts are not vast - roughly enough to explore in about 30 minutes - but the garden within is particularly striking. While entry into the garden itself is restricted, walking along its perimeter and admiring the view offers a peaceful and rewarding experience.
While the weeping cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn foliage are both beautiful, early summer is arguably the best time to visit. During this season, the lush greenery creates a vivid and refreshing atmosphere that hardly feels like you're still within reach of Tokyo’s urban core. Although the daytime can be warm, the weather is ideal for a leisurely stroll (unlike the peak of summer, when the heat can be overwhelming).
There are two benches in front of the garden, perfect for sitting and appreciating the view in comfort. Please note that while drinking water is allowed, eating within the temple precincts is generally prohibited. Smoking, of course, is strictly forbidden.

中津駅周辺にあるビジネスホテルの一つです。駅から徒歩で5分少々かかりますが、道中に信号や坂道等は無く徒歩でのアクセスでは特段不便に感じることは無いでしょう。
ロビーや客室を含むホテル全体が清潔に保たれているのは言うまでもありません。客室の数や客室内の広さは、日本全国の他の場所にもあるホテルルートインと同程度で、中津もしくは中津周辺の地域の観光の拠点として利用するのであれば全く問題ありません。ホテル周辺にコンビニエンスストアや飲食店が複数箇所あり、飲食店の中には深夜まで営業しているところもあるものの、選択肢はかなり限られているように感じます。
各客室には他のビジネスホテルでも見られる広さ・構成のバスルームが設置されています。一方でこのホテルには大浴場もあります。とは言え10人程度でやや狭苦しさを感じる程度の浴槽の広さであるため、過度の期待は禁物です。
その他、スタッフの接客対応の質、1階のレストランで食べられるビュッフェスタイルの朝食の質は、他のビジネスホテルでも見られるような典型的なもので、決して悪いものでは無いと感じました。

This is one of the business hotels located near Nakatsu Station. It takes just over five minutes on foot from the station, but the route is straightforward - with no traffic lights or steep inclines - so walking access is generally not inconvenient.
As expected, the entire hotel, including the lobby and guest rooms, is kept very clean. The number and size of the rooms are consistent with other Route Inn hotels found throughout Japan. If you're planning to use this hotel as a base for exploring Nakatsu or nearby areas, it should serve your needs well.
There are several convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, some of which stay open late into the night. However, dining options in the immediate area may feel somewhat limited, especially if you're looking for variety.
Each room is equipped with a standard unit bathroom, similar in size and layout to those found in many other business hotels. The hotel also features a public bath (large bathhouse), though the bathtub only accommodates around 10 people and may feel a bit cramped - so it’s best not to expect a luxurious experience.
The staff’s hospitality and the quality of the buffet-style breakfast served in the first-floor restaurant are typical of what you'd find in other business hotels - not exceptional, but perfectly adequate and satisfactory.
