木材の温もりを感じる内装の、シンプルながらお洒落なカフェです。店の北側が牟岐線に面しており、オープンテラスで電車が走るのを眺めながらゆったりとひと時を過ごすことが出来ます。カフェではありますが、パスタやカレーなどのランチメニューも充実し、盛り付けもハイセンスで見た目も楽しめます。
南小松島駅に近いということもあり、近隣の住民だけでなく観光客の利用も多く、特に休日のランチタイムではすぐに満席になりますが、それだけ人気の高いお店であると言えます。メニューはほぼ日本語表記のみのようですので、英語等の多言語で注文等をする際は注意が必要です。スタッフの方も明るく且つ手際がよく、程よい距離感で接客対応なのが印象的でした。もし南小松島駅界隈の飲食店に迷ったら、お勧めしたいカフェの1つと言えます。

Because the cafe is near Minami-Komatsujima Station, it is popular with tourists as well as nearby residents. Therefore, lunchtime on holidays is very crowded. Unfortunately, the menu seems to be Japanese only. If you are a non-Japanese speaker, be careful. All staffs treat customers in a bright, and they are very smart. If you get lost at a place where you can eat and drink around Minami Komatsushima Station, I recommend this cafe.

建物自体は他の神社と変わりは無いのに、この神社には不思議な雰囲気が漂っています。鳥居から拝殿に向かう道の真ん中に『百度石』が置かれています。神仏に祈願するために百度参拝するために置かれている石で、他の神社や寺院にもありますが、この神社では常時誰かがこの『百度石』を回りながら祈願しています。また、近鉄奈良駅から神社へ向かう参道には、様々なレストランや売店が建ち並びますが、その中でも夥しい数の占いの店があります。何故沢山の占いの店が開業しているのかの理由は分かっていません。
神社だけでなく、参道を含めた他の神社にはない不思議な雰囲気を楽しむのも醍醐味の1つかもしれません。

成田駅前にあるラーメン店で、給仕されるラーメンこそ典型的な日本のラーメンであるものの、日本の玄関口の1つである成田ならではの工夫が盛りだくさん。いわゆる街中のラーメン店としては珍しく、クレジットカードによる支払いが可能です。成田空港が近いこともあり、各航空会社のステッカーがそこかしこに貼られていたり、日本のグッズが置かれているなど、日本の玄関口ならではの高揚感を引き立てるグッズがずらり。当然英語のメニューもあります。そのためかこの店の利用者は日本人よりも海外からの観光客の姿が目立ちます。
スープはやや辛めですが、麺・トッピングともにまさに日本のラーメンそのもの。全ての客に食べてもらえるように奇を衒った見た目や味付けは無いですが、典型的である分安心して食べることが出来ると思います。

昼のカレー店の場合、入口付近の券売機でチケットを購入します。トッピングの福神漬けは勿論、パセリやアーモンドなど色鮮やかで、味だけでなく見た目も楽しめます。ルーの辛さはまろやかさを基本とし、好みに応じて辛さを調節できるため、辛さに弱い方でも安心して食べられると思います。アーモンドの食感がよく、充分な量であるにもかかわらず価格は比較的安いです。その分、最小限のトッピングのカレーはすぐに売り切れてしまいます。
席数があまり多くないため、大人数での利用にはあまり適さないことと、券売機は1000円札のみ使用可能であることに注意が必要です。ハロウィン等のイベントでは貸し切りになることがありますが、貸し切りであることを示す看板等が掲げられていないことがあることも注意が必要です。

カウンター席のみのラーメン店で、木彫の内装で清潔に保たれています。入口の券売機でチケットを先払いで購入します。人の入りが少ない時間帯で利用したこともありますが、着席してからラーメンが給仕されるまであまり時間はかからず、注文してから比較的すぐにラーメンを食べることが出来ます。
スタッフの接客態度は可もなく不可もなくですが、不手際で大きな音が出た時に非礼を詫びる言葉はありませんでした（求めるわけではありませんが）。琥珀色のスープのさっぱりとした味わいですが、ラーメンの器の大きさと比較すると、価格はやや高いようにも思います。九段下界隈は多くの飲食店が建ち並びますので、飲食店の1つと考えればいいかと思います。

近現代の戦史、戦争にまつわる様々な資料・兵器・遺品が展示されている宝物館。1階には靖国神社に合祀された英霊の写真や家族とやり取りしていた手紙などが展示されている。各展示の解説は英語も併記されている。そのためか海外からの観光客の来館も多い。
一部で当時の日本国軍を礼賛する展示や表示もあるが、あくまで当時の空気感を表現しているもので、ほとんどの解説の内容はこれまで研究されてきた近現代の戦史の事実をそのまま伝えている。展示数や展示部屋が多く、全てを鑑賞する目安の時間は2時間と言われているが、それ以上の時間を要する可能性もある。説明の内容は分かりやすい文章で書かれているものの高度で、日本が関わった戦争は複雑に絡み合う世界の戦争史にも当然関わってくるため非常に多岐にわたる。小学生以下であればかなり退屈に感じるかもしれない。当時の情勢や戦争に至るまで、また停戦・終戦に至るまでのプロセス、そこから現在に至るまでを学ぶ（あるいは学び直す）上で重要な施設であることは間違いない。
日本人としての誇りを取り戻す、あるいは戦争に傾倒する展示を忌み嫌う、色々想いあるだろう。そうした議論も往年の資料や品々を見ることで語り合うことが出来る。未来を形作るために過去があるが、決して封印できないし封印してはいけない。良し悪し関係なく、より良い未来を形作るために必要な過去が、ここには詰まっているように思う。

主に明治以降の戦没者を英霊として祀る神社、と言われると特別で複雑な印象を持つ神社と思われるが、建物そのものとしては他の神社と何ら遜色は無い。桜の季節、年始、終戦記念日を除き、普段はそれほど参拝客も多くなく、思い思いに1日を過ごす観光客の姿も多くある。靖国神社を訪れる人は日本人だけとは限らず、海外からの観光客も多くみられる。
殊更軍事的な要素を全目的に押すわけでもなく、ましてや軍国主義を礼賛する要素は全く見当たらない。参拝客に何かを強要することは無く、他の神社と同じく静かに穏やかに鎮座するのみだ。ここを訪れるたびに『英霊を祀る』ということが独り歩きし、人々の中で誇大解釈されていることに気づかされる。それでも国の未来を想い戦場に散っていった多くの人がいることは事実。
固定概念に囚われず、ただ静かに参拝し、穏やかな空気を感じながら境内を散策することを勧めたい。

長野駅から徒歩3分程度のところにあるビジネスホテルです。レトロな雰囲気を醸し出すロビー、ところどころやや傷んでいる客室の調度品の数々から古さを感じますが、清潔さが保たれているため不快に感じることはありません。ただバスルームは非常に狭いです。大柄な体格の人であれば非常に窮屈に感じるかもしれません。一方でホテルの最上階には大浴場があり、男性用露天風呂も設置されています。露天風呂は天井の無い浴場そのままですので、いわゆる温泉旅館のような風情溢れる露天風呂は期待しない方がいいでしょう。長野市街地にあるだけあって、景色も心湧きたつわけではありません。
宿泊客には無料で信州そばと稲荷ずしを朝食で食べることが出来ますが、860円を追加で支払えば、別に和食もしくは洋食の朝食をオーダーすることが出来ます。とは言え信州、そばだけでもそこそこボリュームがある上に、別メニューの朝食は見た目は確かに豪華ですが、まるで宇宙食を彷彿させる特徴的な器に盛り付けられているからか、少々食べづらいです。あまり860円を支払って食べるものでも内容に思えたので、もしそばで足りない場合は、ホテル街の喫茶店等で済ますといいかもしれません。

Guests can eat Shinshu-soba and Inari-zushi at breakfast for free. If you pay an additional 860 yen, you can eat a richer breakfast (either Japanese style or Western style). But I do not recommend it too much. Because Shinshu-soba and Inari-zushi are just enough. In addition, the vessels used for a richer breakfast are quite distinctive, you'll feel it hard to use for eat the breakfast. 規模の小さい回遊式の日本庭園です。無料で利用できる上に周回だけなら10分程度で済むため、時間が余った時に少し立ち寄る等でも充分な場所です。
中心の池には亀や鯉、四季折々の花々を楽しむことが出来る一方で、庭園の周囲は首都高速やビルが建ち並ぶため、圧迫感があり庭園そのものの風情とのバランスの悪さが感じられます。規模の小ささからベンチなどの休憩スペースも限られているため、大人数で庭園を楽しめるところではない上に、あまりゆったりとした気持ちで庭園を楽しむことは出来ないかもしれません。周囲には多数の観光スポットがありながらこの庭園には休日でもそれほど多くの観光客が訪れてはいません。しかし近くに高速道路があると、自動車の騒音が気になるかもしれません。
あまり大きな期待を持たず、少しの時間を散策に使う程度で利用するといいでしょう。

鶏料理を中心とした、典型的な居酒屋。スタッフは総じて若い男性で切り盛りしているからか、女性の利用も多い。接客態度はややぶっきらぼうなところが見えるが、それを不満と思うか、あまり近づきすぎず客とスタッフとの間に適度な距離が保たれていると感じるかどうかは、人それぞれ。
唐揚げやたたき等、料理は至ってシンプルで典型的。選り好みが分かれるような料理は少ないが、一方で無難とも言える。変化の激しい日常の中に身を置いて疲れた時に、とりわけ特徴的ではないものの深く考えることなく心を落ち着かせて食事をとる上ではいい店かもしれない。一方でややボリュームが多いため、注文のタイミング等には少し注意が必要だが、その分リーズナブルと言える。

両国国技館に併設されている小規模な博物館です。その広さゆえに常設展は設けておらず、開催されている場所や活躍した力士について等の特別展を中心とした展示で、30分程度で全ての展示を鑑賞できます。また原則無料で拝観できます（東京場所が開催されている際は、大相撲も観覧券が必要です）。一方で残念なのが、休館日が土日を中心としていること（事前の確認が重要です）。館内の展示物は原則撮影禁止ですが、貴重な相撲資料の劣化を防ぐためにはやむを得ないかもしれません。
普段、テレビやイベントの際の遠目でしか見ることが出来ない化粧廻しや衣装を間近で見ることが出来るため、土産話の1つとして立ち寄るといいかもしれません。海外からの多くの観光客が訪れるものの、各展示の英語表記はそれほど多くはありません。また大相撲の臨場感を味わえるような展示方法でもないため、あまり期待しすぎるとガッカリする可能性があります。
相撲に関する様々なグッズを販売している土産物店があり、お菓子やキーホルダー等興味を惹くグッズが盛りだくさんです。一方でクレジットカードは利用できないようです。

Although there are many tourists from overseas, there are not many descriptions in English. Also, because it is not an exhibition method to experience Sumo or to feel the realism, it may be disappointing if you expect too much. It may be just enough to stop at Sumida sightseeing.
There are also souvenirs selling various goods related to Sumo. On the other hand, it seems that credit cards can not be used.

臨時電車や自転車を持ち込む団体専用列車『B.B.BASE』を利用するほか、イベント等以外で利用されない3番ホームへ向かう通路に設けられた、小規模なギャラリー。両国駅のこれまでの変遷や、両国駅を発着する列車の写真が一堂に展示されている。改札を通って両国駅に入らなければならないが、ギャラリーそのものは無料。一本道の通路を利用しているため、決して広くはないがシンプルで分かりやすく、利用しやすい。なお、撮影は禁止であることは念頭に入れておきたい。目的の電車を待つ少しの間、かつての両国駅の姿を見て思いを馳せるのもいいだろう。

東京スカイツリーが開業されて以降、業平周辺にもおしゃれなカフェやレストランが建ち並ぶようになりましたが、かつての下町情緒の面影を残している定食屋も多く、その典型例がこの食堂と言えます。店内は清潔さが保たれており、調度品も決して古めかしくないのにどこか懐かしさを覚えます。定食のメインディッシュは焼き魚や唐揚げというこれまた定食屋の基本で、奇を衒ったところが一切なく、その分気を楽にして利用できるかもしれません。
見たところメニューは日本語表記のみ、支払いは現金のみのようです。海外からの観光客には少々利用しづらいかもしれませんが、『日本の下町の食堂』を体感する上で一番いいモデルケースのお店かもしれません。

閑静な住宅や高級ブランド店が立ち並ぶ街並みに溶け込むように佇む美術館です。美術館として主張しすぎないその佇まいは、そこを通る人に美術館があるとは気づきにくいかもしれません。その分心を落ち着かせて作品を鑑賞することが出来ると思います。
幾何学的でポストモダンな内装とは裏腹に、展示されている作品群は古来から脈々と続く日本美術作品が数多くあります。各展示室は広さや数は程よく、展示の数もそれほど多くはないため、鑑賞してもそれ程疲れることは無いと思います。
さらに、この美術館ではやや高低差の日本庭園があります。いくつかの茶室もあり、申請すれば利用することができます。美術館の周囲は高層ビルが少ないため、庭園を歩くと燦燦と降り注ぐ陽の光を浴びながら、ゆったり散策することできるでしょう。都内のオアシスの1つとも言える場所です。

典型的な大衆食堂の内装ですが、清潔さが保たれて店内は明るく、観光客が来店してもすぐに受け入れられるお店です。
代表的な料理は、佐野市名物の佐野ラーメンといもフライ。佐野ラーメンは醤油ベースであっさりめ、クセはなく食べやすいです。向かいが『佐野厄除け大師』の通称で知られる惣宗寺であることから、『厄除け』の焼き印が刻まれた麩がトッピングされており、見た目も面白いです。ただ、トッピングのエビは少し食べづらかったです。
佐野散策やグルメの話題の1つとして利用するといいかもしれません。

田舎の町内にある典型的な大衆食堂の1つです。町内在住の方（特にお年寄り）が多く利用するのが見られ、旅行者だからと言って差別的なところはありませんが、若干利用しづらい雰囲気があります。店内の内装は古さを感じますが、不潔というわけではありません。給仕される料理も特徴的な味付けや盛り付けというわけではなく、これも典型的な大衆食堂に見られるものです。「この町ならではの」といった料理や特徴はあまり期待しない方がいいでしょう。
ただ、利用した日は町内在住のお年寄りの口喧嘩が始まってしまい、店主が落ち着いた口調で窘めていたものの、利用者としては不愉快に感じました。顔見知りがよく利用するお店であるだけに、そういったこともあり得ることに注意が必要かもしれません。

徳島駅を降りたらすぐ目と鼻の先にある、利便性抜群のホテル。部屋は清潔に保たれていることは勿論のこと、内装も洗練されており古さを感じず、海外からの観光客も快適に過ごすことが出来る。快適に徳島観光するための拠点の一つとしてうってつけのホテルと言える。バスルームは広めで浴槽もゆったりとした作りになっている。
フロントは3階にあり、チェックイン時に渡されたカードキーが無いと、エレベーターで4階以上に行くことができない。ホテルの利用者でない人物の侵入を少しでも防ぐ手立てが施されている。快適面だけでなく安全面も充実させた、安心して利用できるホテルでもある。2階は朝食に利用できるになっている他、1階はコンビニと直結しているため食事などには一切困らない。徳島を旅する際にお勧めしたいホテルだ。

You'll be able to find the hotel in front of you when you get off at Tokushima Station. The rooms are kept clean and you do not feel old. One of the great spaces about it is the bathroom. If you have experienced a typical business hotel bathroom, you will be delighted to be able to relax in the spacious tub in the room.
At check-in, you'll receive a card key at the front desk. The card key for entering the room is also a card key for using the elevator. Without the card key, you can not go up to the floor of the room. This hotel offers not only comfort but also safety.
The second floor is a restaurant for breakfast, and the first floor is directly connected to the convenience store. It is almost impossible to be troubled by life at this hotel. It is one of the most recommended hotels to you as the base for your Tokushima trip!

10席程度の狭い店内のではあるが、昼食時は平日休日問わず座席の後ろに待合席にも人が埋まるため、武蔵浦和駅界隈の飲食店でも人気のレストランであるといえる。内装の雰囲気は大衆ラーメン店の典型例と言える。鶏白湯スープが特徴のラーメン店であるだけに、味付けはやや薄め。好みで調味料を加えて味を調節することが出来るが、あっさりとした味が好みであればそのままでも充分美味しくいただくことができる。
気になったのはトッピングされた具材であるが、麺やスープに化学調味料を使用していないことを強調したいからなのか、トッピングの具材がいずれも固めで噛みにくく、どちらかと言えば麺やスープよりもトッピングの具材の方が見た目も歯応えも強調しすぎているようにも感じる。

There are only 10 counter seats, but at lunch time it will be full every day. Sometimes there are a lot of people sitting on the waiting seat. The inside of the Ramen restaurant is narrow but clean, and the atmosphere is that of a typical popular Ramen restaurant.
Boiled chicken bones are used for this Ramen soup. It seems that chemical seasoning is not used at all. Therefore, the taste is somewhat light. If you prefer light flavors, you can enjoy it without having to thicken the flavors.
However, I was worried that the taste and texture of the topped ingredients were stronger than noodles and soup. They did not seem to be in harmony with the noodles and the soup.

ハラール認証を取得した数少ないカレー店の一つですが、通常店に比べて若干味が薄めになった程度で、日本人でも気軽に利用できる店の一つと言えます。『日本のカレー』を食べたいものの食のタブーに抵触するムスリムの方が最も利用しやすい店の一つであると言えます。接客のムスリムの女性は日本語も英語も堪能で笑顔も絶やさずハキハキとしていてとても心地いいです。
ハラール認証のカレー店ですので利用できる食材も限られており、通常店に比べてメニューの数はかなり少ないです。勿論季節もののメニューも取り揃えていません。メニューのバラエティを求める客からすれば少々物足りないと感じるでしょう。
立地の関係上店内はとても狭く、カウンター席10席程度のみ。通路も狭く、キャリーバッグを持った客や車いす客の利用は適しません（通れなくはないですが）。ベビーカーも折りたたんだ状態で利用するといいでしょう。

It is one of the few chain restaurants of curry that has received Halal certification. Although the taste has become thinner compared to regular curry restaurants, Other than that, it is almost the same as regular curry restaurants. It is one of the restaurants that can be used casually for Muslim people who want to enjoy Japanese curry as well as Japanese. The Muslim women who serve customers are fluent in both Japanese and English, and will respond to lucidly.
As it is a Halal certified restaurant, the ingredients available are also limited. Menu of curry is usually considerably less than restaurant. If you want to enjoy a wide variety of curry, I would not highly recommend this restaurant. Also, due to the location, the inside of the store is very narrow, and there are only 10 seats for the counter. Customers with carry bags and wheelchairs are very difficult to use. In this restaurant, the stroller should be used in a collapsed state.

特に大雪の厳冬期の、新幹線の待合には便利な喫茶店。出入口が駅ビルの二階でしかも屋内であるため、屋外の寒さをほとんど感じず快適に利用することができます。店内も比較的広く、またテーブルや椅子も、通路を広くするために配置されているため、キャリーバッグを持った旅行者や車椅子の利用客でも無理なく利用できると思います（その分、座席数は他の店舗に比べ若干少ないようにも感じます）。
但し、特に大雪の日は床拭きが追い付かなくなるくらい床が濡れるため、足元が滑りやすくなるのに注意が必要です。

The cafe is located on the second floor of Nagaoka Station Building. Because it's entrance is indoors, so you don't feel cold of outside of the hard winter particularly, and you can spend it comfortably. The inside of the cafe is large, and tables and chairs are arranged to secure a wide aisle(I thought that the number of seats was a little small for that).
On the other hand, especially on a heavy snow day, the floor gets wet in excess that the floor cleaning by staffs cannot catch up. You have to be careful with your feet.
