『並ばずすぐに入店及び料理を楽しむことは皆無』
『列に並び始めて入店までに最短でも20分は必要』

そう言われるくらいに、この食堂では連日のように長蛇の列が出来ます（列が出来ない時を見たことがありません）。
給仕される料理は極めてシンプルで、料理は醤油ベースのラーメンのみ（追加で麺やトッピングを注文することが出来ます）。ドリンクもビールのみでソフトドリンクは皆無であることから、基本的に子供連れには適しません（必ず長蛇の列が出来る事もあり、子供の利用はお勧めできません）。
見た目は典型的なラーメン食堂のラーメンで、味も食べ始めた時はそれほど驚きも新しさも無く、何故長蛇の列が出来るのか訝っていました。しかし、麺のつるつるとした喉越しともちもととした食感、スープは味わえば味わう程コクが深まるように感じ、なるほどこれは高い人気を誇る、と頷けました。
カウンター席のみで、席は狭く、箸と調味料は置かれてあるものの、ティッシュやナプキンはありません。ティッシュはカウンター席後ろに二か所あり、セルフで取りに行く必要があると同時に、捨てる際も自分で行わなければなりません（食器はスタッフが下げます）。

So much so that there is a long line at this restaurant every day (I have never seen a time when there is no line).
The food served is extremely simple, menu is only Ramen with soup of soy sauce based (you can order extra noodles and toppings).
The drinks are basically only serve beer, and no soft drinks, so unsuitable for children (moreover, there is always a long line, so it's not recommended for children).
It looked like a typical ramen of diner, and when I started eating it, the taste was not that surprising or new, and I wondered why there was a long line of people waiting for it. However, the smoothness and glutinous texture of the noodles and the richness of the soup seemed to deepen the more I tasted it, and I could understand why it was so popular.
There is only counter seating, and the seats are small. There are chopsticks and seasonings on the tables, but no tissues or napkins. Tissues are located in two places behind the counter seats, and you have to pick them up, and throw them away by yourself (tableware is taken down by the staff).

レストラン内は広く、席数も多いです（主に2人向けの席で構成されています）。昼食時間帯は外からの光がたっぷり入り、明るいカフェのような雰囲気ですが、夜になるとやや薄暗く、木調の調度品も相俟って、バーのような落ち着いた雰囲気になります。
給仕される料理は、栃木の名産の野菜や肉類を使っているものの、見た目は奇を衒ったところがない典型的な料理の盛り付けです。一方で味はどれも品よくまとまっており、どの年齢層にも広く受け入れられると思います。スタッフも、溌溂とした声で親切に対応してくれますが、程よい距離感を保った接客をします。
混雑する飲食店は、日光駅から、日光東照宮などの世界遺産となっている社寺の間に集中するため、このレストランは比較的空いており、お勧めです。

During lunch time, the restaurant is brightly lit with plenty of light from outside, giving it a cafe-like atmosphere, but in the evening, it's a bit dimmer, and the wooden furnishings combine to create a more relaxed bar-like atmosphere.
The dishes served are used Tochigi's local ingredients, vegetables and meats, but without being overly fancy in appearance. On the other hand, all the dishes are well-balanced in taste, and may be widely accepted by people of all ages. The staff is friendly and helpful with a lively voice, but they also maintain a good sense of distance.
The crowded restaurants are concentrated between Nikko Station and the World Heritage sites such as Nikko Toshogu Shrine, so this restaurant is relatively empty and highly recommended.

群馬県内の古代から現代に至るまでの様々な時代の史料が一堂に会する歴史博物館。
明治時代以降は国家としての統制が進むため、明治時代以降の展示はあまりその地域ならではの特色が薄く、それはこの歴史博物館でも当てはまる。しかし江戸時代まで（特に戦国時代まで）の史料は各地域で特色があり、特に群馬が辿ってきた歴史は目を見張るものがある。
関東地方と北陸地方の交通と運送と要衝の地である群馬は、群雄割拠の時代、常に覇権争いの只中に置かれていた。しかしそれ以前にも群馬は非常に魅力あるれる土地で、銅鏡等は東日本で最も出土されていたり、土地活用・行政にまつわる石碑が数多く存在する（複製であるがそれらの石碑も多く展示されている）。古墳の数も極めて多く、この博物館から北に1kmのところにある綿貫観音山古墳から発掘・出土された埴輪や副葬品（それらは全て国宝に指定されている）の多くが展示されている。
大人は300円で利用できるが、その価値を上回る程に興味深い展示品が並んでいる。1時間では全てを鑑賞することは出来ないだろう。

Since the Meiji era (1868-1912), Gunma Prefecture has been under national control. Exhibits in history museums from the Meiji era onward are less unique to the region. This is also true of this museum. However, the historical materials up to the Edo period (especially up to the Warring States period) are unique to each region, and the history of Gunma is particularly remarkable.
Gunma, a major transportation hub between the Kanto and Hokuriku regions, was always in the middle of the struggle for supremacy during the era of the Warring States period. Even before that, however, Gunma was a very attractive place, with the largest number of bronze mirrors unearthed in eastern Japan, and many stone monuments related to land use and administration (many of these monuments are on display, although they are replicas). There are also an extremely large number of burial mounds, and many of the haniwa (clay figurines) and burial accessories (all of which are designated as national treasures) excavated and unearthed from the Watanuki Kannon-yama burial mound, located 1 km north of the museum, are on display.
It costs 300 yen for adults, but the exhibits are more than worth it; you won't be able to see everything in an hour.

日光街道沿いにある、三角屋根が目印のレストランです。酒類の提供もありますが、いわゆる居酒屋然とした外装・内装ではなく、田舎のカフェのような温かみを感じるレストランです。
栃木で栽培された野菜、もしくは飼育された豚や牛を活用した料理が主で、各料理の値段も比較的リーズナブル。それぞれの料理は丁寧に拵えられているため、空いている時間帯でも注文から給仕までにやや時間を要します（そのため昼食時など混雑している時間帯は一層給仕に時間を要するかもしれません）。一方で、メニューには栃木独自のブランド食材が日本語のみで書かれているからか、海外からの観光客には分かりづらいです（英語のメニューがあるかについては不明です）。
焼きたての肉が熱々の鉄板に乗せられて給仕されるので、特に冬の食事はとびきり美味しく感じるはずです。野菜もしっかり柔らかく噛みやすいように拵えられており、最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ました。

This is a restaurant with a triangular roof along Nikko Kaido roadway. Although it serves alcoholic beverages, the exterior and interior of the restaurant is not that of a so-called izakaya, but rather has the warmth of a country cafe.
Most of the dishes are made from vegetables grown in Tochigi, or from pigs and cows raised in Tochigi, and the prices of each dish are relatively reasonable. Each dish is carefully prepared, so it takes some time from ordering to serving, even when the restaurant is relatively empty (so it may take even longer to serve during busy times such as lunch). On the other hand, the menu is written only in Japanese, which may make it difficult for international visitors to understand the unique brand of Tochigi ingredients (not sure if there is an English menu).
The freshly grilled meat served on a hot griddle, especially in the winter, must be incredibly delicious. The vegetables were also prepared in such a way that they were tender and easy to chew, and I was able to enjoy them all the way through.

華厳の滝や湯滝に並ぶ、日光を代表する名瀑の一つです。2つに分かれた滝の形、あるいは岩の形が竜の頭を思い起こすことから、その名が付けられている、と言われています。
しかし、実際に行ってみるとあまり風情を感じないかもしれません。他の滝と比べても滝を見るための展望台は狭く、その狭い展望台に観光客がひしめき合っているためです。さらにレストランや土産物店がいくつかありますが、滝を鑑賞できる席は常に混雑していることから、このレストランでの食事も積極的にはお勧め出来ません。
むしろ、滝の右側は滝に沿うような遊歩道が整備されているのですが、あまりその遊歩道を利用する観光客は多くありません。そのため、遊歩道から雄大な滝の流れを見ることをお勧めします。遊歩道の終着点である滝上のスポットも観光客はあまり多くなく、そこからの滝と中禅寺湖の眺めをほぼ独占できます！ 滝上にも駐車場があり、そちらの方を利用している車はそれ程多くありません。

The spot at the end of the trail, above the waterfall, is also not crowded with tourists, and you can almost monopolize the view of the waterfall and Lake Chuzenji from there! There is also a parking lot at the top of the falls, and not that many cars use that one.

葦や菖蒲等、名前の通り主に水生植物が植えられている植物園です。神代植物公園の管理下ではありますが、地続きではなく離れた場所にあります（とは言え、神代植物公園から約5～10分程の場所にあります）。
初夏には菖蒲や杜若、秋には彼岸花など、色鮮やかな花を咲かせる品種もありますが、ほとんどの植物は身近で且つ地味な色合いの植物です。植物好きや観察好きには非常にもってこいの場所ですが、色とりどりの花を期待しすぎるのは禁物かもしれません。特に冬は花を咲かせる水生植物は極めて少なく、人によってはつまらないと思うかもしれません。

この植物園は無料で利用することが出来るにも関わらず、訪れる人はそれほど多くありません。水生植物が主体の植物園ですので、人が立ち入ることの出来るスペースは小径くらいで非常に限られており、園内を周遊しながら植物を観察・鑑賞するのみで、ボール等で遊ぶスペースはありません。車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも楽しめるよう、スロープも設置されていますが、一部の通路は遠回りしなければならず、やや不便に感じるかもしれません。

As the name implies, this is a botanical garden where mainly aquatic plants such as reeds and irises are planted. Although it's under the management of the Jindai Botanical Park, it's not connected to the park but is located in a remote area (although it is about 5-10 minutes away from the park).
Although there are some varieties with colorful flowers, such as Iris in early summer and Red spider lily in autumn, most of the plants are familiar and plain in color. This is a great place for plant lovers and observers, but don't expect to see too many colorful flowers. Especially in winter, there are very few aquatic plants that bloom, which some people may find boring.

Even though this botanical garden is free of charge, not many people visit it. There is no space to play with a ball or other objects, only to observe and appreciate the plants as you walk around the garden. There are also ramps for wheelchairs and other disabled visitors to enjoy the garden, but some of the pathways require a detour, which may be somewhat inconvenient.

秋葉原UDX界隈で、路上での客引き営業が目立つラーメン店ですが、その甲斐もあってか連日多くの客が利用しているように見受けられます。
麺を始め丼物を含め、ボリュームたっぷりの見た目が特徴の料理が給仕されます。この店の料理の特徴は、角煮を始め脂分たっぷりのトッピングの盛り付けです。そんなこってりな味付けの料理が多いからか、男性客の方が多い印象ですが、女性客の利用もわりと多いです。厨房も元気よく調理・接客する女性スタッフも多く、それが店として活気づけているように思います。一方でスープは比較的スッキリとした味わいでした。
カウンター席には充電用のコンセントがありますが、客の回転が比較的早いため、あまり充電目的で利用する人は多くないように見えます。

This is a ramen restaurant in the Akihabara UDX area that is conspicuously touting its services on the street. It seems to be worth the effort, as many customers visit the restaurant every day.
Noodles and other dishes, including rice bowls, are served with a hearty appearance. One of the features of this restaurant's dishes is the arrangement of fatty toppings such as Kakuni. Perhaps because of such richly flavored dishes, the restaurant seems to attract more male customers, but there are also a rather large number of female customers. There are also many female staff members in the kitchen who cook and serve the customers energetically, which seems to make the restaurant more lively. The soup, on the other hand, had a relatively clean taste.
There are electrical outlets for charging at the counter seats, but since the turnover of customers is relatively fast, not many people seem to use them for charging purposes.

広々とした空間に幾何学的に壁や柱が配置されている、展示品も勿論ですが建物自体も興味深い構造になっている美術館です。建物自体が大きいだけでなく複数ある各展示室自体も広々としているため、常設展・企画展を合わせて鑑賞しても1時間は簡単に過ぎてしまいます。
1階と2階の2階構成となっており、1階で主に企画展、2階で常設展が展示されています。特に2階は展示室によっては広さだけでなく天井の高さもあり、特に天窓から差し込む陽の光を巧みに活用した現代アート作品が展示されていることもあります。
美術館の名前に『近代』とあるため、常設展では19世紀以降の西洋・東洋の芸術家の作品が展示されています。中には世界的に著名な芸術家の作品もあります。一方で、この美術館で蒐集した作品を展示し、広く県民に楽しんでもらうことを主眼としているためか、常設展の作品の展示の仕方にはあまり統一性を感じませんでした。一方企画展は近世の作品が展示されていることもあり、特に群馬県にゆかりのある芸術家の作品が展示されます。
全ての展示室で監視員が常駐していますが、その数が多いのもこの美術館の特徴の一つです。残念ながら彼らは学芸員ではないようです。人によってはその監視状況にあまり落ち着かないかもしれません。

As the museum's name implies "modern," the permanent exhibition features works by Western and Eastern artists from the 19th century onward. Some of the works are by world-renowned artists. On the other hand, I didn't feel that there was much uniformity in the way the works in the permanent collection were displayed, probably because the main purpose of the museum is to display the collected works and have them widely enjoyed by the people of Gunma prefecture. The special exhibitions, on the other hand, feature works from the early modern period, especially those by artists associated with Gunma Prefecture.
There are monitors in all the exhibition rooms, and one of the unique features of this museum is the large number of them. Unfortunately, they do not seem to be curators. Some people may not feel very comfortable with that surveillance situation.

華厳の滝を鑑賞する展望台の一つです。ここへのアクセスは有料で、入口でチケットを購入しエレベーターを使用して約100mを下ります。エレベーターの降り口から展望台に至るまでにも約100mのゆるやかな坂を下る必要があります。
華厳の滝からは距離があるにもかかわらず、華厳の滝の水しぶきを常に感じます。大量の水が落差約100mを一気に流れ落ちる、というのは、それだけダイナミックなことなのでしょう。そのため、展望台及びエレベーターから展望台に至るまでの道は常に濡れています。スリップに充分注意してください。
展望台は三層になっていますが、いずれも階段のみの昇降となります。車椅子等の障碍を持つ方は、観賞できる箇所が限定されてしまうことに注意が必要です。転落防止用の柵がありますが、その柵も成人の胸当たりの高さです。滝にものを落とすと二度と戻ってきません。
展望台には、お土産屋・記念撮影用のカメラマンが常時備わっています。

言わずと知れた日光を代表する観光スポットの一つです。落差約100mを大量の水が一気に流れ落ちる様は、遠くから見ても見応えがあり、常に観光客が絶えず訪れるスポットの一つでもあります。
華厳の滝を鑑賞する展望設備は2か所あり、1か所は有料で専用のエレベーターで入口より約100m下の『観瀑台』まで降ります。もう一つは入口付近の展望台で、滝を眼下に見下ろすことが出来、こちらは無料で利用可能です。『観瀑台』では、滝より距離があるにもかかわらず滝の水しぶきを直に感じることが出来るため、例え真夏の日中であってもひんやりとしています。長居しすぎると髪や服がかなり濡れてしまうこともあるので注意が必要です。
いずれの季節も見応えがありますが、紅葉のシーズンは人が多すぎて、『観瀑台』へ降りるのに時間がかかりすぎたりうまく写真に収められなかったりと、少しガッカリするかもしれません。逆に冬は観光客もそれほど多くなく、雪に覆われた滝の美しい景色が見られます。運がいいと、氷瀑を見ることが出来るかもしれません！

チョコレートを中心に、非常に質の高く豊かな味わいを楽しむことが出来る洋菓子店です。チョコレートの他にも、フィナンシェやマカロンなどの洋菓子が販売されていますが、売り場の多くをプラリネやトリュフの販売に占められています。既に選別されたチョコレートやスイーツを詰め合わせた箱だけでなく、チョコレート1個から購入することも可能で、好みに合わせて様々なスタイルで購入できるのもこの店の魅力の一つです。
店の奥にはサロンがあり、購入したスイーツを珈琲などと一緒に飲食することが出来ますが、店頭でスイーツを購入するのみの客がほとんどです（店内の構造上、分かりづらいかもしれません）。スタッフは一様に丁寧に接客しており、スイーツに使用されている成分（酒類の使用の有無　等）も適切に説明してくれ、好感が持てます。特別な人への贈り物等に利用するといいでしょう。入口に段差があるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方は利用に注意が必要です。

金谷ホテルの前身である金谷カッテージ・インは、現在歴史館として一般公開されている。
明治に入り、外国人向けの民宿として改築されたが、江戸時代の武家屋敷としての構造が随所に残されている。階としては2階建てであるものの、部屋によっては1階と2階の中間に位置したり、階段も複雑に配置されていたりと、さながら小規模な忍者屋敷のようであるが、いずれも家人や客を素早く逃がしたり外敵を攻撃するための構造の一つとなっている。
利用するには、隣接の金谷ホテルベーカリー カテッジイン・レストラン＆ベーカリーの会計で入館手続きを済ませる。指定の料金を支払うと入館のためのコインが渡され、指定の場所にコインを入れることで入館できる。館内は原則撮影禁止だが、建物の外や屋外からの撮影は許可されている。建物内の展示品は日本語だけでなく英語も併記されており、海外からの観光客も当時の面影を知ることが出来る。館内は土足厳禁であるため、入り口で靴を脱ぎ、スリッパに履き替える必要がある。
庭は苔むした日本庭園で、特に新緑の季節は青々とした緑に心を癒されるだろう。歴史館の目の前が幹線道路であるため車の往来が多いので、観光客の少ない平日に来ることをお勧めする。

When you pay the fee, you will be given a coin to enter the museum, and you can enter the museum by putting the coin into the designated place. As a general rule, photography is not allowed inside the museum, but you are allowed to take pictures from outside or outside the building. The exhibits inside the building are written in English as well as Japanese, so tourists from overseas can get a sense of what it was like back then. The museum does not allow visitors to wear shoes on the ground, so it's necessary to take off your shoes and change into slippers at the entrance.
The garden is a moss-covered Japanese garden, and especially during the season of fresh greenery, the lush greenery will soothe your soul. Since there is a main road right in front of the museum, there is a lot of traffic, so it is recommended to come on weekdays when there are fewer tourists.

内装・外装ともに典型的な下町の食堂の雰囲気を漂わせる洋食レストランです。さらに内装には、ところどころにアンティークや近隣の社寺の札や熊手、著名人のサインが所狭しと飾られており、ちょっとカオスな感じもしますが、それもまた魅力の一つのように感じます。
調理・給仕・会計に至るまでスタッフの数が充実しており、注文や給仕に待たされる、ということはまずありません。特に調理に携わるスタッフの数は非常に多く、狭い厨房にひしめき合っていますが、長年の努力と経験により見事に分業され、全てにおいて手際よく調理作業が進められ、その様子を見ているだけでも楽しめます。一方で客が少ない時は、何人かの調理人が手持無沙汰になることがあり、食べているところを見られているようでちょっと落ち着かなかったです。
料理の盛り付け・味は、素朴で下町ならではの食堂の味、という感じではありますが、奇を衒っておらず品よくまとめられていて、美味しかったです。

日光東照宮の祭神である徳川家康の遺品や、江戸幕府の代々の将軍・朝廷・大名家から奉納された数々の品が収蔵・展示されている宝物館。二荒山神社や輪王寺の宝物館に展示されているような、宗教色の強い品物は多くなく、徳川家康が愛用していた甲冑、奉納された刀剣や文書、東照宮の造営や造替に活用されていた工具等が主な展示品となっている。工夫を凝らした展示方法だからか、特に刀剣は非常に魅入られるような美しさで、美術品としてもその素晴らしさを感じることが出来る。一方で入館料1,000円と比較すると、展示数はやや少なく、物足りなさを感じるかもしれない。
400年式年大祭記念として2015年に新しく建てられたため、外観・内装共に新しく、スタイリッシュな造りとなっている。日光東照宮には、この宝物館に限らず様々な建物があるため、脚休めを兼ねてカフェも併設されている。

This treasure museum stores and exhibits the relics of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the deity of Nikko Toshogu Shrine, as well as many items dedicated by the successive shoguns of the Edo Shogunate, the Imperial Court, and the feudal lords. The main items on display are armor used by Tokugawa Ieyasu, swords and documents dedicated to him, and tools used in the construction and rebuilding of Toshogu Shrine. Perhaps because of the ingenious display methods, the swords in particular are very beautiful and fascinating, and you can feel their splendor as works of art. On the other hand, compared to the admission fee of 1,000 yen, the number of exhibits is rather small and you may feel that you are missing something.
Since it was newly built in 2015 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Shikinen Taisai, the exterior and interior are both new and stylish. As there are many other buildings in Nikko Toshogu, including the museum, there is also a cafe where you can rest.

このレストランは、時間に充分に余裕がある時にのみ利用すべきであり、小休憩目的での利用はお勧めできません。小さなお子さんをお連れのご家族には猶更お勧めできません。
最大の理由は、提供される様々なサービスに時間がかかりすぎることです。入店し、入り口の呼び鈴を鳴らしてもスタッフが来ない、注文を予防にもスタッフが来ない、注文から給仕まで、ドリンク一杯ですら20分ほど要することもあります（店内に客が多くないにも関わらず）。
このレストランをスタッフは複数人おり、その全てが近隣にお住いのご婦人方と思われますが、丁寧に接客するものの随所で要領の悪さが露呈されています。地元で採れた食材を使い、見た目も味も非常にこだわりを見せていますが、それが余計に時間を費やしている原因の一つです。それにもかかわらず付け合わせのサラダは、まるで冷凍したものをそのまま出したかのように全く美味しくない上に給仕に時間を要されました。
群馬の森周辺には飲食店が少ないですが、このレストランで食事をするなら、弁当など事前に用意することをお勧めします。

This restaurant should only be used when you have enough time to spare, and is not recommended for short breaks. It's even less recommended for families with small children.
The main reason for it is that the various services offered take too much time. The staff does not come easily when you enter the restaurant and ring the doorbell, the staff does not come easily for your ordering similarly, even a single drink can take up to 20 minutes (even though there are not many customers in the restaurant).
The restaurant is staffed by several people, all of whom seem to be ladies who live in the neighborhood. However, although they serve the customers politely, they are not to the point in many places. They are very particular about the appearance and taste of their food, using local ingredients, which is one of the reasons why they spend so much time on it. Nonetheless, the accompanying salad was not at all tasty and took a long time to serve, as if it had been frozen and served as is.
There are not many restaurants around the Gunma Forest, but if you want to eat at this restaurant, it is recommended to prepare a lunch box in advance.

都心からのアクセスが1時間程度であるにもかかわらず、豊富な水と木々に囲まれた寺です。開放的な空間は、本堂や元三大師堂がある境内の限られた場所に限られ、それ以外の場所は鬱蒼とした木々に覆われています。境内をゆっくり散策しても1時間程度の広さであるため、深大寺界隈の散策に丁度いいかもしれません。
またところどころに湧水の水源を持ち、参道にはその水を活用した蕎麦店などが軒を連ね、賑わいを見せています。
鉄道の駅からは遠いですが、調布駅・吉祥寺駅・三鷹駅からバスで行くことが出来ます（バスの本数も多く、アクセスしやすいです）。駐車場もありますがキャパシティはそれほど多くないため、公共交通機関を利用するといいでしょう。

Despite being only an hour away from the city center, the temple is surrounded by an abundance of water and trees. The open space is limited to a few areas in the precincts where the main hall and Ganzandaishi Hall are located, and the rest of the temple is covered with dense trees. A leisurely stroll around the grounds will only take about an hour, making it a good place to explore the Jindaiji temple area.
There are many soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurants along the approach to the temple that use the water from the springs.
The temple is far from the train station, but you can take a bus from Chofu, Kichijoji, or Mitaka stations (there are many buses and they are easily accessible). There is also a parking lot, but its capacity is not very large, so it's best to use public transportation.

浦安駅前のスクランブル交差点ある、小ぢんまりとしたカレー店です。ポーク・チキン・ビーフをベースとしたカレールーを使用した、カツカレーや野菜カレーなどが給仕されます。
トッピングされる具材に奇を衒ったものは無く、盛り付けも凝ってるわけではない、至って普通のカレーです。ルー、トッピングの具材共に味は薄めではあるため、この店ならではの特徴的なものはありませんが、互いに主張し合うような味ではなくまとめられた味付けであるため、食べやすいです。
老齢の女性が一人で切り盛りしているからか、特に昼食時間帯は給仕が遅くなる傾向にあります。また店内は清潔に保たれているものの、調度品等の古さがかなり気になります。入口には段差があり、また座席（カウンター席のみ）の高さも高いため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方にとっては利用しづらいでしょう。ご飯の量やルーの辛さを変えることが出来ますが、その情報はテーブルのメニューではなく壁の掲示を見る必要があるのがやや分かりづらいです。

This small curry restaurant is located at a scramble intersection in front of Urayasu Station. It serves curry roux based on pork, chicken, or beef, and the topping ingredients are pork cutlet or vegetable curry.
There are no fancy toppings, and the presentation of the dishes is not elaborate, it's just an ordinary curry. Both the roux and the toppings are light in flavor, so there is nothing unique about this restaurant, but the flavors are not overpowering, making it easy to eat.
Perhaps it's because the restaurant is run by an elderly woman alone, but the service tends to be slow, especially during lunch hours. Also, although the restaurant is kept clean, the old furnishings are quite distracting. There are steps at the entrance, and the height of the seats (counter seats only) is high, making it difficult for people with disabilities to use the restaurant. You can change the amount of rice or the spiciness of the roux, but this information is somewhat confusing as you need to look at the sign on the wall instead of the menu on the table.

日本最古の西洋式リゾートクラシックホテル。イザベラ・バード、アルベルト・アインシュタイン、ヘレン・ケラーを始め、世界各国の名立たる要人が滞在した。建物自体も登録有形文化財及び近代化産業遺産に認定されている。
これまで何度も増改築を繰り返しているもの、建てられた当時の面影を出来る限り残しているため、いくつかの設備に古さを感じるが、それもまたこのホテルの味わいの一つと言える。それでも、部屋を始めロビーやレストランは常に清潔に保たれており、宿泊中は快適に過ごすことが出来る。1階にはこれまで宿泊した著名人のサインや写真が掲載されているコーナーもあり、非常に小規模ながら歴史館としての側面を持つ。
別館にはエレベーターが無いが、本館にはエレベーターがあるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方は本館・新館で問題なく宿泊できる。
このホテルの宿泊は、可能であれば朝食・夕食込みでの予約をお勧めしたい。このホテル周辺にもカフェや食堂がいくつかあるが、夜間に開いているところはほんの数軒に過ぎない。そのため、夕食のためそれらの食堂に訪れる人で混雑し、場合によっては長時間待たされる可能性がある。加えて周辺にコンビニが無く、近くのコンビニでも10分程歩く必要がある。夜食等はあらかじめ購入してからホテルにチェックインすることをお勧めする。
ホテルの立地上やや考慮すべき点があるが、それでも日光の豊かな自然に囲まれたホテルでの滞在は、極上のひと時を堪能することが出来るだろう。

This is the oldest Western-style resort classic hotel in Japan. Famous dignitaries from around the world, including Isabella Bird, Albert Einstein, and Helen Keller, have stayed here. The building itself is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property and a Heritage of Industrial Modernization.
Although the hotel has been expanded and remodeled many times over the years, it has retained as much as possible of the original appearance of the building, so some of the facilities feel old. However, this is one of the charms of this hotel. On the first floor, there is a corner with autographs and photos of famous people who have stayed at the hotel in the past, and although it is very small, it has the aspect of a historical museum.
The annex does not have an elevator, but the main building does, so people with disabilities such as wheelchairs can stay in the main building and the new building without any problems.
I would recommend booking a room at this hotel, including breakfast and dinner if possible. There are several cafes and restaurants around the hotel, but only a few of them are open at night. Therefore, you may have to wait for a long time in some cases due to the crowds of people visiting these restaurants for dinner. In addition, there are no convenience stores in the area, and even the nearest one requires a 10-minute walk. It's recommended that you buy your snacks in advance before checking into the hotel if you need.
The location of the hotel is a bit of a consideration, but even so, a stay at a hotel surrounded by the rich nature of Nikko will be a wonderful experience.

『不純』という名前に釣られて訪ねましたが、夜の繁華街を彷彿させるような照明の、昭和の雰囲気をかすかに漂わせている普通の喫茶店です。ところどころに置かれているアンティークのような装飾品ものも、そのような雰囲気の要素の一つとなっています。
給仕される料理はいずれもリーズナブルな価格設定ですが、（ランチタイムの料理を除き）そのほとんどが一品料理と思える程度の量です。料理の見た目は昔ながらの喫茶店で見られるようなものですが、全ての料理が昔ながらの喫茶店の味を再現しているわけではありません。人気商品であるプリンは、固いというより粘り気が強く、好みが分かれるかもしれません。
この喫茶店は2階にあるのですが、昇降は階段のみでやや急です。車椅子等の障碍を持つ方、大きな荷物を持つ方の利用はお勧め出来ません。スタッフの接客は丁寧であるものの、注文の聞き漏れや間違いなどのミスがやや目立ちます（注文数が多いとその傾向にあると思います）。水の給仕はなく（水のセルフサービスもありません）、17時以降の場合お通しが給仕されるのですが、そのお通しがやけに高いように思います。会計時に現金を使うことは出来ません。
いくつか利用に難があるため、積極的にお勧めできるお店ではありません。

The name of this cafe, "不純", does not mean "impurity". It's a very ordinary cafe, with lighting reminiscent of a busy nightlife district and a faintly Showa-era atmosphere. The antique like ornaments placed here and there are one of the elements of such an atmosphere.
The dishes served are all reasonably priced, but (with the exception of the lunchtime dishes) most of them are just enough to be considered a la carte. The dishes look like something you would find in an old-fashioned cafe, but not all of the dishes have the taste of an old-fashioned coffee shop. The pudding, a popular product, is more sticky than hard, which may divide people's tastes.
This cafe is located on the second floor, and the only way up and down is by stairs, which is rather steep. It's not recommended for people with disabilities such as wheelchairs or people with large luggage. Although the staff is polite and courteous, there is a tendency to make mistakes in ordering (I think this tends to happen when there are many orders). There is no water service (no self-service water), and after 5pm, you will be served an appetizer, which seems to be rather expensive. Cash is not accepted at the checkout.
This cafe has a few drawbacks that make it difficult to use, so it's not one that I would actively recommend.

深大寺周辺には江戸時代より蕎麦が名産で今も多くの店が軒を連ねていますが、この店はその中でも人気の店の一つです。1階と2階の2階構成で、1階はテーブル席、2階は座敷席となっています。基本的に4名以上で利用する席の構成ですが、3名以下でも利用できます。胡坐や正座が苦手、あるいは出来ない人向けの脚の低い座椅子も設けられています。但し2階への昇降は階段のみで、且つその階段も狭いです。車椅子等の障碍を持つ方は1階のテーブル席が利用できます。
昔ながらの石臼挽きの蕎麦粉と、東京の水とは思えない湧水を使用した蕎麦料理が堪能できます。天麩羅などの料理が付随されるとやや給仕に時間を要しますが、蕎麦だけであれば早く給仕されます。天麩羅などの一品料理も非常に丁寧に拵えられているのが分かるくらいに歯ごたえも抜群で美味しいです。量がやや少なめですので、人によっては物足りないと感じるかもしれません。
特に夏の利用をお勧めします。遠くから聞こえる蝉の音を愛でながら、蕎麦で凉をとるのもいいかもしれません。

This restaurant is one of the most popular in the Jindaiji area, where soba has been a specialty since the Edo period. The first floor has table seating, and the second floor has tatami room seating. Basically, the seating is designed for four or more people, but it can also be used by three or less. Low-legged chairs are also available for those who are not good at sitting on their knees or in seiza. However, the only way to get upstairs is by stairs, and those stairs are narrow. People with disabilities such as wheelchairs can use the tables on the first floor.
You can enjoy soba dishes made with traditional stone-ground buckwheat flour and spring water that is unlike any other water in Tokyo. It takes a little longer to serve when tempura and other dishes are included, but if it's just soba, it's served quickly. The tempura and other dishes are delicious and crunchy, and you can tell that they are prepared with great care. The portions are a little small, so some people may feel that they are not enough.
It's especially recommended to visit in summer. It's a great place to relax with soba noodles while enjoying the distant sound of cicadas.
