東西に長く連なる沼で、柏市と我孫子市の境目にあります。散歩道が設けられ、誰でも気軽に無料で散策やジョギングに利用することができます。周囲に森がないため風通しもよく、夏は涼しく、同様に日差しがたっぷり降り注ぎますから、冬は暖かい、まさに憩いの場といえます。一方日よけの場所が少ないため、日焼けのし過ぎには注意が必要そうです。
沼の周囲は全て公園、というわけではなく、小さな公園が点在するのみで、ほとんどが住宅街になっています。公園以外ではゆっくり静かに散策する方がよさそうです。

The swamp is long and wide in the east and west, and is at the boundary between Kashiwa city and Abiko city, Chiba prefecture. There are walking paths around the swamp, and anyone can feel free to use for walking or jogging for free. As the wind passes through on the swamp, you'll feel a refreshing wind in summer. Furthermore, there are open spaces, so you can feel plentiful sunshine. Conversely, it means that you need attention to excessive sunburn.
The surroundings of the swamp are not all parks. Small parks are scattered around it, and other are quiet residential areas. Therefore, you have to make quiet outside of the park.
