  熊本駅周辺の（大衆居酒屋を除く）飲食店は、21時に閉店するところが多い中で、数少ない22時まで営業しているレストランです。...  続きを読む飛行機や新幹線で夜遅くに熊本駅に到着せざるを得ず、小腹を満たしたい時には丁度いいレストランの選択肢になると思います。 店名に『そば』とある通り、天ぷらそばやとろろそば等の蕎麦料理のメニューが豊富ですが、蕎麦に限らず、うどんや丼物など、いわゆる日本の食堂に見られるような料理も豊富にあります。トッピング、味付け、盛り付け共に奇を衒ったものやこの店ならではの特徴的なものは少なく、典型的な料理が多い、という印象を持つかもしれません。同時に一品料理やお酒の種類も豊富であるため、居酒屋の側面も持ち合わせるレストランであるように思います。店内の照明はやや薄暗く、多くの客席は個室で設えられているため、野卑な騒がしさは少なく仲間内でお喋りをしながら食事をするのにピッタリかもしれません。 This restaurant is one of the few places around Kumamoto Station - excluding casual izakaya-style pubs - that stays open until 10:00 p.m., while many others close at 9:00 p.m. If you arrive at Kumamoto Station late at night by plane or Shinkansen and want a light meal, this can be a very convenient option. As the name suggests, the restaurant offers a wide variety of soba dishes, such as tempura soba and grated yam soba. In addition to soba, they also serve udon and various rice bowl dishes, similar to what you would find in a typical Japanese diner. The toppings, flavors, and presentation are straightforward and not particularly unique to this restaurant, so you may find the dishes familiar and traditional rather than creative. At the same time, they have a good selection of small side dishes and alcoholic beverages, giving the place a partial izakaya atmosphere. The lighting inside is somewhat dim, and most of the seating consists of private rooms or semi-private spaces.
