東海道・山陽本線のJR総持寺駅から10分も満たないところにある真言宗の寺院。閑静な住宅街に囲まれているため、平日休日問わず喧騒をほとんど感じさせない寺院である。JR総持寺駅自体、各駅停車しか停まらない駅であることもあり、遠方からわざわざ訪れる人も少ない。それゆえ、ゆったり境内を散策できる寺院の一つと言える。もっとも、住宅街に囲まれた寺院であるため境内もそれ程広くはなく、周遊するだけであれば30分と要しない。それでも、近隣住民にとっては交流の場の一つとして大切に活用されており、それもあってか、境内は綺麗に保たれているだけでなく、交流の場としてカフェが併設されている。
境内にはやや小ぶりな日本庭園と池があり、数尾の鯉が元気よく泳いでいる。草木も良く手入れされ、種類は多くはないが四季の花々も愛でることが出来る。一方で、他の寺院や神社等によく見られる背の高い樹木がほとんど見られない（低木ならあるが）。その分、境内の見晴らしはいいのだが、（周辺環境に配慮した結果なのかもしれないが）やや寂しさを感じるかもしれない。住宅街の寺院とは言え、典型的な都会型の寺院に整備されている、と言える。

This is a Shingon Buddhist temple located less than a 10-minute walk from JR Soji-ji Station on the Tokaido-Sanyo Main Line. Surrounded by a quiet residential neighborhood, it feels calm and free from noise whether you visit on weekdays or weekends. Since JR Soji-ji Station is a local stop where only regular trains stop, few people travel from afar specifically to visit this temple. As a result, it remains one of the temples where you can take your time and stroll around the precincts without crowds. That said, because it’s surrounded by houses, the precincts are not very large, and a simple circuit of the area will take no more than 30 minutes. Even so, the temple plays an important role as a gathering place for local residents. The precincts are kept very clean, and there is even a small café attached, emphasizing its role as a community hub.
Within the precincts you will find a modest Japanese garden and pond, home to a few lively koi fish. The greenery is well maintained, and although the variety of plants is limited, seasonal flowers can still be enjoyed throughout the year. Unlike many other temples and shrines, there are very few tall trees here (though you will find some smaller shrubs). This makes the precincts feel open with good visibility, but it may also feel a little bare - perhaps as a result of blending in with the surrounding residential area. In any case, it’s a temple that reflects the style of a typical "urban neighborhood temple", compact yet carefully maintained.

服部天神駅から徒歩5分も満たないところにある神社です。住宅街に囲まれており、境内の敷地はそれ程大きくはなく、周遊するだけであれば30分と要しません。近隣を鉄道が通り、また車の行き来も多い道路に囲まれているため、日中は平日休日問わずやや喧騒を感じますが、それでも大阪市街地から離れている分休日でも参拝客はそれ程多くはありません。
名称に『天神』とあるように、他の天神の神社と同様に、拝殿の柱や梁のやや落ち着いた色合いの朱色がとても良く映えます。境内の隅々に至るまで綺麗に保たれており、長い年月近隣住民にとても親しまれているのがよく分かります。周辺散策のコースの一つとして訪れてみるといいかもしれません。
菅原道真が大宰府に左遷され任地に赴く過程で脚気に襲われた際、平癒祈願をしたところたちまち快復したことから、『足の神様』として崇敬を受けるようになった、という言い伝えがあります。それもあってか、主に脚を使うスポーツ、特にガンバ大阪の選手の怪我防止や必勝祈願としてこの神社に参拝に訪れるのだそうです。

Because rail tracks run nearby and busy roads surround the area, you can sense some noise during the day on both weekdays and weekends. Still, since it's away from central Osaka, the number of worshippers remains relatively low, even on holidays.
As the name "Tenjin" suggests, the shrine shares the same style as other Tenjin shrines, with the subdued yet vivid vermilion color of its pillars and beams standing out beautifully. The grounds are kept clean and well-maintained down to the smallest corners, clearly showing how long and deeply the shrine has been cherished by local residents. It may be worth visiting as part of a neighborhood walking route.
According to tradition, when Sugawara no Michizane was demoted to Dazaifu and fell ill with beriberi on the way, he prayed here for recovery. He soon regained his health, and since then the shrine has been venerated as a place to worship the "God of Legs". Because of this, many athletes - especially players from the local soccer team Gamba Osaka - visit to pray for injury prevention and success in matches.

麴町駅から徒歩4〜5分程度の、小規模なビルが建ち並ぶ街中にあるラーメン店です。店の外観自体、特段目立つものではありませんが、店の近隣は飲食店が密集するように建ち並んでいないため、比較的容易に見つけることが出来ると思います。
店内は比較的狭く、席数も20席もありません。テーブル席もあるもののテーブルや椅子の構造上カウンター席と同じとみていいでしょう。そのため車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や、スーツケースなどの大きな荷物を持っての利用はお勧めできません。また席数の少なさからも大人数での利用もお勧めできません。
店外の出入口付近に設置されている券売機で予め食券を購入する必要があります。券売機の各ボタンは日本語だけでなく英語の併記もあること、ヴィーガン向けの料理もあることから、外国人観光客の利用も多く見られます。完全キャッシュレスですが、初訪の方は操作方法が分かりづらく、かなり手間取るかもしれません。
給仕される料理は、ラーメンだけでなくつけ麺もあります。ラーメンやヴィーガン向けの麺料理の方が人気だからか、それらは昼食時間帯で売り切れることが多く、夜はつけ麺しかないことがあります。さっぱりしながらも酸味と辛味を調和させたスープが特徴で、麺や具材との相性は抜群で、絶妙な味わいになります。一方でスープのみの場合、酸味と辛味が強く感じるように思い、もしかしたら好みが分かれるかもしれません。

戸越銀座商店街沿いの飲食店の一つです。小ぢんまりとしたお店ではありますが狭苦しさは感じず、誰もが気軽に立ち寄れる雰囲気のラーメン店だと思います。出入口が手動の引き戸であること、加えて段差があるため（スロープが設置されているものの勾配が急に感じました）、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用はあまりお勧めできません。
入口付近に設置されている券売機で食券をあらかじめ購入する必要があります。（店内の掲示物もそうですが）全て日本語表記で、しかもあらかじめお金を入れないと一切の反応が無いため、初めて利用する人にはやや操作が分かりづらいと感じるかもしれません。
この店のラーメンの特徴は、麺・スープ・トッピングのいずれもしっかりと拵えられているところです。スープは濃厚ながらくど過ぎず後味も悪くなく、麺にしっかりと絡みます。トッピングの具材も程よい柔らかさで均一に味付けされています。空いている時間帯でも給仕にやや時間を要することからも、いずれに料理にもしっかりと拵えられていることが良く分かります。
スタッフの接客対応はハキハキとし、それでいて丁寧でとても好感を持てました。

曹洞宗の寺院の一つで、明治時代まで今川氏の菩提寺であった。
荻窪駅や西武新宿線の上井草駅からかなり離れていること（徒歩で20分超を要する）、頻繁に車が往来するほどの道路が近隣にないからか、都心に近い寺院であるにも関わらず静謐で凛とした空気をまとっている。周遊するだけであれば30分程度の広さではあるが、境内の庭園が非常に素晴らしく（庭園内には立ち入れない）、庭園を愛でつつ境内を散策するだけでも素晴らしい時間を過ごすことが出来ると思う。
枝垂桜や紅葉も素晴らしいが、個人的にお勧めする来訪の時期は初夏。とりわけ瑞々しい木々の緑が都心に近い寺院とは思えない情景を醸し出す。日中は暑さを感じるものの散策には最適な時期だと思う（逆に真夏になると暑すぎて散策には適さない）。庭園前に2脚のベンチがあるため、腰を掛けつつ庭園を愛でるのも良い。但し境内は、水分補給はともかく食事は原則禁止（喫煙は言わずもがな）。

This is a Soto Zen Buddhist temple that served as the family temple (bodaiji) of the Imagawa clan until the Meiji era.
Although the temple is located relatively close to central Tokyo, it feels remarkably quiet and dignified. This tranquil atmosphere may be due to its distance from nearby train stations - over 20 minutes on foot from both Ogikubo Station and Kami-Igusa Station (Seibu Shinjuku Line) - as well as the absence of any major roads with heavy traffic nearby.
The temple precincts are not vast - roughly enough to explore in about 30 minutes - but the garden within is particularly striking. While entry into the garden itself is restricted, walking along its perimeter and admiring the view offers a peaceful and rewarding experience.
While the weeping cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn foliage are both beautiful, early summer is arguably the best time to visit. During this season, the lush greenery creates a vivid and refreshing atmosphere that hardly feels like you're still within reach of Tokyo’s urban core. Although the daytime can be warm, the weather is ideal for a leisurely stroll (unlike the peak of summer, when the heat can be overwhelming).
There are two benches in front of the garden, perfect for sitting and appreciating the view in comfort. Please note that while drinking water is allowed, eating within the temple precincts is generally prohibited. Smoking, of course, is strictly forbidden.

中津駅周辺にあるビジネスホテルの一つです。駅から徒歩で5分少々かかりますが、道中に信号や坂道等は無く徒歩でのアクセスでは特段不便に感じることは無いでしょう。
ロビーや客室を含むホテル全体が清潔に保たれているのは言うまでもありません。客室の数や客室内の広さは、日本全国の他の場所にもあるホテルルートインと同程度で、中津もしくは中津周辺の地域の観光の拠点として利用するのであれば全く問題ありません。ホテル周辺にコンビニエンスストアや飲食店が複数箇所あり、飲食店の中には深夜まで営業しているところもあるものの、選択肢はかなり限られているように感じます。
各客室には他のビジネスホテルでも見られる広さ・構成のバスルームが設置されています。一方でこのホテルには大浴場もあります。とは言え10人程度でやや狭苦しさを感じる程度の浴槽の広さであるため、過度の期待は禁物です。
その他、スタッフの接客対応の質、1階のレストランで食べられるビュッフェスタイルの朝食の質は、他のビジネスホテルでも見られるような典型的なもので、決して悪いものでは無いと感じました。

This is one of the business hotels located near Nakatsu Station. It takes just over five minutes on foot from the station, but the route is straightforward - with no traffic lights or steep inclines - so walking access is generally not inconvenient.
As expected, the entire hotel, including the lobby and guest rooms, is kept very clean. The number and size of the rooms are consistent with other Route Inn hotels found throughout Japan. If you're planning to use this hotel as a base for exploring Nakatsu or nearby areas, it should serve your needs well.
There are several convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, some of which stay open late into the night. However, dining options in the immediate area may feel somewhat limited, especially if you're looking for variety.
Each room is equipped with a standard unit bathroom, similar in size and layout to those found in many other business hotels. The hotel also features a public bath (large bathhouse), though the bathtub only accommodates around 10 people and may feel a bit cramped - so it’s best not to expect a luxurious experience.

言わずと知れた世界有数の規模と来場者数を誇るテーマパークで、東京ディズニーリゾートを構成するテーマパークの一つです（もう一つは『東京ディズニーシー』）。平日休日問わず多くの人が訪れ、平日こそやや空いているものの、それでも人気のアトラクションは行列に並び入場までに20分以上を要します。特段のイベントもない平日ですらこの状況であるため、ハロウィンやクリスマスなどのイベント時の混雑振りは推して知るべしでしょう。とは言え、全てのエリアにおいて没入感に浸れるような世界観に作り込まれているため、アトラクションを楽しまなくてもテーマパーク内を歩くだけでもその世界観を存分に楽しむことが出来るでしょう。
『ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパン』と異なり、ウォルト・ディズニー・カンパニーの書く作品の世界観やキャラクターのみで構成されているため、『ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパン』の雑多な世界観とは異なり、（エリアごとに世界観を異にしているとは言え）統一された構成になっています。どちらかと言えば魔法やファンタジーの雰囲気を醸し出すエリアが多く、その雰囲気に深く没入できる人にとっては最適のテーマパークだと思います。
それ以上にこのテーマパークを支えているのが、『ディズニーキャスト』と呼ばれるスタッフの方々です。少なくとも目にした範囲ではほぼ全員がプロ意識を持ちつつ、来場客を楽しませ、同時に自分も楽しもうとしています。時折来場客に声を掛けて笑わせてくるなど、細やかな対応は素晴らしいと思いました。
パーク内を思う存分楽しむには、そのための時間帯や費やすお金などを事前に綿密に計画する必要がありますが、たとえ雰囲気だけでも充分に楽しめますし、比較的空いているアトラクションでも全く楽しめない、ということはありません。『ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパン』と異なり、屋内もしくは風雨を極力避ける設備が整っているアトラクションが多いため、多少の悪天候では特段中止にならず楽しむことが出来ると思います。

Many even go out of their way to interact with visitors in charming and amusing ways, adding to the magic of the day.
To make the most of your visit, it's advisable to carefully plan your time and budget in advance. However, even a spontaneous visit just to enjoy the atmosphere can be rewarding. Compared to Universal Studios Japan, Tokyo Disneyland also offers more indoor attractions or weather-shielded facilities, making it a comfortable destination even in less-than-ideal weather conditions.

熊本城の敷地の南部に位置するショッピングエリア『桜の馬場』にある、ハチミツを使用した各種商品の販売店です。店内に入るや否や、ハチミツのほのかな香りが鼻孔をくすぐります。
ややハチミツの粘り気が強めに感じるものの、その一方で甘さは控えめであるため、甘いものが苦手な人でも美味しく食べられると思います。
ソフトクリームの販売も同時に行っており、その中の一部にはこの店の看板商品であるハチミツがトッピングされています。ソフトクリームは基本的にテイクアウト用に販売されていますが、席数は10席にも満たないものの店内で飲食することも可能です。熊本城を周遊した後、一休み目的で利用するといいかもしれません。

This shop, located in the “Sakura-no-Baba” shopping area on the southern grounds of Kumamoto Castle, specializes in a variety of honey-based products. The moment you step inside, you’ll notice a gentle aroma of honey wafting through the air.
While the honey tends to be slightly thick in consistency, the sweetness is pleasantly mild, making it enjoyable even for those who don't typically like overly sweet treats.
They also offer soft-serve ice cream, some of which are topped with the shop’s signature honey. Although mainly sold for takeout, there is limited seating available inside (fewer than 10 seats), allowing for a quick break on-site. It's a lovely spot to relax after touring Kumamoto Castle.

城造りの名手と謳われた肥後国の武将『加藤清正』が普請した城。西南戦争や度重なる大地震によって天守を始め多くの建造物が崩落あるいは消失したものの、熊本市の象徴を絶やすまいと幾度と復元を繰り返している。天守も復元されたものだが、威風堂々とした佇まいが現在も多くの人を引き付けている。
熊本城の魅力は天守に留まらない。現在の熊本城址の敷地面積は、復興や熊本市の都市計画等により江戸時代のものより半分程度にまで削減されたものの、それでも現在の江戸城（皇居敷地）や大阪城公園の広さに匹敵する。加藤清正の築城の象徴とも言える『武者返し』の石垣を始め、多数の櫓や城門を構え、その内のいくつかは現存している。もはや熊本城が屋外城郭博物館そのもの、と言ってよく、天守内の展示物の観覧を除いても、城郭を周遊しながら歩くだけでも2時間は軽く超えるだろう。堅牢さ・美観・往年の技術、全てがつぎ込まれた無類の城と言ってもいい。
歴史的価値を持っている城址であるため、可能な限り往年の姿を残しているが、それでも車椅子等の障碍を持つ人でも気軽に訪れることが出来るよう、スロープの設置など工夫されている。各史跡の案内は日本語だけでなく英語の説明も併記されており、ボランティアガイドの方々も英語で説明しているのを見かける。外国人観光客も安心して周遊できるスポットだと思う。

Kumamoto Castle was constructed by Kiyomasa Kato, a feudal lord of Higo Province renowned as a master of castle-building. Although many of its buildings, including the main keep (Tenshu), were destroyed during the Satsuma Rebellion and repeated earthquakes, restoration efforts have continued over the years to preserve this iconic symbol of Kumamoto City. While the current main keep is a reconstruction, its imposing and dignified appearance still draws many visitors.
The appeal of Kumamoto Castle is not limited to the main keep. Although the current castle grounds have been reduced to about half their original size due to urban development and post-earthquake restoration, they still rival the grounds of Edo Castle (now the Imperial Palace) and Osaka Castle Park in scale. Key features include the famous "Mushagaeshi" stone walls, designed with steep slopes to repel attackers, as well as numerous turrets and gates, some of which have survived from the original construction. In this sense, the entire site functions as an open-air museum of Japanese castle architecture. Even without entering the exhibitions inside the main keep, walking around the castle grounds alone will easily take more than two hours. It's a remarkable example of durability, beauty, and traditional craftsmanship.
As a site of historical significance, efforts have been made to preserve the castle’s original appearance as much as possible. Nonetheless, modern additions such as ramps ensure that visitors with disabilities can access many areas comfortably. Explanatory signs are provided in both Japanese and English, and volunteer guides can often be seen offering tours in English as well. It's a welcoming destination for international tourists looking to experience Japan’s rich history.

熊本駅に直結する商業施設『肥後よかモン市場』内にあるレストランの一つです。レストラン名にある通り海鮮料理の種類が豊富ですが、海鮮料理に限らず肉料理の種類も豊富で、馬刺しを始め熊本ならではの地元の料理を堪能することが出来ます。
商業施設内の一角に店舗を構えていることもあり、店の広さは所謂典型的な商業施設内のレストランと同程度のように見受けられます。席の構成は、4人向けのテーブル席を基本に、単身者でも気軽に利用できるカウンター席があります。席数は豊富にあるものの、各席の仕切りも比較的多めに設定されているため、大人数での利用はあまり向かないかもしれません。
いずれの料理も、盛り付けは他の居酒屋等でも見られるようなもので、特段奇を衒ったものやこのレストランならではの盛り付けは見られません。あくまで料理は楽しいひと時を過ごすためのアクセントの一つとして徹底されているように見受けられます。
深夜まで営業しているレストランの一つであり、居酒屋で給仕される典型的な一品料理だけでなくラーメンやカレー等の食事も給仕されるため、夜遅くの食事場所にピッタリなレストランの一つだと思います。常駐するスタッフの数も充分で、比較的空いている時間帯に利用したからか、サービスの質も申し分ありませんでした。

However, it's not limited to seafood; there are also plenty of meat-based options, including local specialties unique to Kumamoto, such as "Basashi (horse sashimi)".
Since the restaurant is situated within a commercial facility, the space feels typical of such locations. The seating consists mainly of four-person tables, with counter seats available for solo diners to use comfortably. Although the number of seats is ample, there are quite a few partitions between tables, so it may not be the best choice for larger groups.
The presentation of the dishes is fairly standard, much like what you would find in typical izakaya-style restaurants. There are no overly creative or unique arrangements, which suggests that the dishes are meant to complement a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience rather than take center stage.
This restaurant stays open until late at night, serving not only classic izakaya-style small plates but also hearty meals like ramen and curry. It's a convenient option for those looking for a place to eat later in the evening. The number of staff on duty seems sufficient, and perhaps because I visited during a quieter time, the service quality was excellent.

外装・内装・給仕される料理に至るまで、まさに典型的な日本の海鮮料理の食堂、という印象のレストランです。季節や海の状況、漁の状況によって給仕される食材の有無が変わることに注意が必要です（例：1月～3月上旬までシラスは禁漁のため、この期間生シラスは食べることが出来ません）。
料理はいずれも魚介類の焼き物・刺身・丼物がメインで、この店ならではの独自の盛り付け・味付け等は見られず、他にもある海鮮料理と同様の料理が堪能できます。その分、気負いすることなく漁港からの獲れたての海鮮料理を堪能することが出来ると思います。城ヶ島内の食堂の一つであるため、休日を始め昼食時間帯は観光客の利用で混雑しますが、スタッフの対応はそういった状況にも慣れているように見受けられます。テキパキと動きながらも、丁寧な対応をされていました。
店内は開放的で広々としており、テーブル席とお座敷席で構成されています。基本は最大4人の客席で構成されていますが、10人程度の人数でも対応可能です。三崎口駅行きのバス停にも近く、城ヶ島周遊の後、食事して三崎口駅に戻る、といった行程で利用するのに最適なレストランの一つだと思います。

However, the staff seem well-accustomed to these busy periods, and they manage service efficiently while still remaining courteous and attentive.

While most tables are set up for groups of up to four, they can accommodate larger parties of around ten. Located conveniently near a bus stop that connects to Misakiguchi Station, this restaurant is an excellent choice for a meal after touring the island before heading back.

ホテルの周辺には、飲食店やコンビニエンスストアなどが多数あるため、飲食や食料の調達には全くと言っていい程困りません。とは言え、宮崎駅より徒歩15分程度の距離があるため、悪天候でなく身体に疲労感がない時には駅から徒歩でのアクセスでも丁度いいかもしれませんが、そうでない場合はタクシー等を利用した方がいいかもしれません。また、橘通り沿いはこのホテルを始め様々な商店が建ち並び、このホテルの外観もその街並みに溶け込んでいるかのようで、あまり目立たない外観をしています（一目でそのホテルだと分かるサインが外部に掲げられているとは言え）。場合によっては気づかずに通り過ぎる可能性があることにも注意が必要です。
客室やロビーを含むホテル内の全ての設備は、清潔に保たれているのは言うまでもありません。各客室もコンパクトにまとめられ、大きめのスーツケースを持って宿泊する場合はかなり手狭に感じてしまうかもしれません（これは他のアパホテルにも同様のことが言えます）。橘通りに面しているため、夜間は車の往来の騒音が気になる人もいると思います。一方でホテル内の機器類の駆動音は小さめであるため、屋外の騒音を除けば比較的静かに過ごせると思います。
前述の通り、ホテル周辺には多くの飲食店があるので、宮崎でのビジネス、宮崎周辺の観光の拠点として利用するのに適したホテルの一つだと思います。

The area surrounding the hotel is filled with restaurants, convenience stores, and shops, making it very easy to find meals or grab necessities. While it’s about a 15-minute walk from Miyazaki Station, the distance is manageable on foot in good weather or if you’re not too tired. Otherwise, taking a taxi may be more comfortable.
Tachibana Avenue is lined with many commercial buildings, and this hotel blends into the cityscape quite naturally. Although there is a visible hotel sign, the exterior is somewhat understated, so there's a chance you might walk past it without noticing - something to keep in mind.
The hotel, including the lobby and guest rooms, is kept very clean. Each room is compact and efficiently arranged, but if you're traveling with a large suitcase, the space may feel quite tight. (This is common with many APA Hotels.) Since the hotel faces a main street, some guests may notice traffic noise at night. That said, the interior is relatively quiet, with minimal mechanical or appliance noise, allowing for a mostly peaceful stay.
With so many dining options nearby, this hotel is a convenient base for both business travelers and those exploring the Miyazaki area.

閑静な住宅街にある、非常に人気の高いパティスリーです。クリスマスやバレンタインデーといったイベントのある日でなくても、休日には屋外に長蛇の列が出来る程の人気ぶりです。店の前の道路は狭いため、列が出来る場合かなり狭苦しく感じるかもしれません。
店名の『クリオロ』はカカオの最高品種の名前から取ったもので、店内にはチョコレートもしくはチョコレートを活用したスイーツが数多く並べられています。にもかかわらずそれぞれのスイーツの香りが嫌な匂いに交じり合うようなことはなく、かと言って強く甘ったるく匂うこともなく、程よい香りが店内に広がり、食欲をそそります。主なスイーツはチョコレートやマカロンですが、パンの種類も豊富です。見た目は可愛らしいデザインですが奇を衒ったスイーツはほとんどなく、形や見た目は正統なものが大多数、と言っていいでしょう。
利用客がそれ程多くなければ比較的広々としている店内ですが、多くの人がひしめき合うように利用すると途端に狭く感じます。一方でスタッフの数も充分に配備されており、また上記をはじめとするイベント時の混雑ぶりに慣れているためか、混雑していても丁寧な接客態度であると感じました。どのスイーツを購入するか迷った時には尋ねてみるといいでしょう。

Even on regular weekends - let alone special occasions like Christmas or Valentine's Day - long lines often form outside the shop. Since the road in front of the store is quite narrow, the crowd can make the area feel rather cramped.
The shop's name, Criollo, is derived from the name of the highest-grade variety of cacao. Inside, you'll find a wide range of chocolate-based sweets, but the aroma remains pleasantly balanced - it’s neither overwhelming nor overly sweet, creating an inviting atmosphere that stimulates your appetite. The shop specializes in chocolates and macarons, but also offers a generous selection of breads. While the designs are charming and elegant, the sweets lean toward classic presentation rather than flashy or unusual styles.When not crowded, the interior feels relatively spacious. However, when the shop fills with customers - as it often does - it can feel tight. That said, the number of staff is sufficient, and they are clearly experienced with handling high-traffic periods. Even during busy times, the staff remains courteous and professional. If you're unsure what to buy, don’t hesitate to ask - they’re happy to help.

ポルテ金沢の地下1階のレストラン街にあるレストランの1つです。まるで中華レストランのような内装であるため、事前の下調べや出入口に表示されているメニューの一部を見なければ、中華レストランと間違えてしまうかもしれません。
うどんやそばだけでなく、丼物やカレーなど、いわゆる日本の街中にあるような典型的な食堂で給仕される量を堪能することが出来るレストランです。盛り付け・味付けもこのレストランならではの料理はなくいずれも典型的であるため、金沢の旅で真っ先に訪れる、あるいはお勧めするレストランではありません。そのため、普段と同じような食事をしたい気分の時に利用するといいかもしれません。
一方で、（利用したタイミングがたまたまそうだったからかもしれませんが）少ないスタッフの数で注文・調理・給仕・会計をするため、注文のためにスタッフを呼ぶ際も、注文した料理が来る際も、かなりの時間を要します。客席からスタッフを呼んでもなかなか来ない時があります。手早く食事をする目的での利用には向かないと思います。

This is one of the restaurants located on the basement level (B1) of Porte Kanazawa’s dining floor. Due to its interior design, which resembles a Chinese restaurant, you might easily mistake it for one unless you check the signage or menu posted at the entrance in advance.
The restaurant offers a wide range of typical Japanese casual dishes—such as udon, soba, rice bowls, and curry - served in generous portions, similar to what you might find at a standard Japanese diner.
There is nothing particularly unique or regional about the presentation or seasoning of the dishes, so it may not be the ideal spot for those seeking an authentic or memorable Kanazawa dining experience. However, it could be a good option if you're simply in the mood for something familiar and comforting, similar to everyday Japanese meals.
On the downside, the service can be noticeably slow. Whether it was just the timing of the visit or a regular occurrence, only a few staff members seemed to be managing orders, cooking, serving, and payment all at once. It often took a long time to place an order or receive food, and even calling a staff member to your table could take a while.
Therefore, if you're looking for a quick meal or are on a tight schedule, this may not be the best choice.

各客室（バスルーム含む）の古さは致し方ないにしても、部屋はかなり狭く、少ない荷物でも窮屈に感じるホテルです。非常にリーズナブルな価格で宿泊できますが、このホテルの最大の特徴はそれのみ、といった印象で、少なくとも大きなスーツケースを持っての宿泊は全くお勧めできません（そもそもスーツケースを広げるスペースが皆無に等しいです）。
ホテル周辺には飲食店は無く、コンビニエンスストアも徒歩5分程度のところにあるのが最も近いコンビニエンスストアです。レストランも大津駅まで行かなければならず（ホテルと大津駅は徒歩10分程度）、特に天候の悪い日は食事や食料の調達も億劫に感じるでしょう。
とは言え、京都市内や大阪市内のホテルと比較すると、場合により半額程安い価格で宿泊できるのは非常に魅力に感じるでしょう。大津は大阪まで1時間程度で行けるため、客室の狭さに目を瞑れるなら、コンパクトな荷物で単なる寝泊まりの場所として利用するといいかもしれません。
スタッフの接客対応は、適切な距離を保ちつつ丁寧でした。また、レンタサイクルのサービスを利用することが出来ます。

While the age of the rooms (including the bathrooms) is understandable, the real issue here is the extremely limited space. Even with light luggage, the room feels cramped, and if you're traveling with a large suitcase, this hotel is not recommended at all - there’s virtually no space to open one.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is the very low price. However, that’s about it. There are no restaurants nearby, and the closest convenience store is about a 5-minute walk away. For any proper dining options, you'll need to head to Otsu Station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. On rainy days, even getting food can feel like a hassle.
That said, compared to hotels in Kyoto or Osaka city centers, the cost can be nearly half, which is definitely appealing to budget travelers. Since Otsu is only about an hour from Osaka, if you're traveling light and just need a place to sleep, this hotel might still work for you despite the downsides.
Staff service was polite and respectful, maintaining an appropriate level of distance. They also offer bicycle rental, which could be a nice option for exploring the area.

新大阪駅から徒歩5分程度のところにあるビジネスホテルです。御堂筋線の大阪駅からであれば比較的アクセスしやすいですが、新幹線やJRの改札口からの場合、やや行きづらいと感じるかもしれません。
『ヴィアイン新大阪』の名前がつくホテルは、新大阪駅の東側と西側にあり、このホテルはその西側です。間違えて東側のホテルに行かないよう、事前にホテル名は確認した方がいいでしょう。もし間違えて東側のホテルに行っても、西側のホテルに運んでくれるようなシャトルバスは存在しません。
チェックインフロントは2階にあり、ホテルのエレベーターは必ず2階に停まるように設定されています。チェックインは専用の機械を使用して実施しますが、やや使用しづらい、という印象でした。例として、住所の入力に1文字ミスがあった場合、その1文字を削除する機能はなく、最初から住所の入力し直しを求められます。フロントに常駐しているスタッフの口調は原則丁寧ではあるのですが、チェックインに専用の機械を使用するよう強く求められ、混雑していてもスタッフの対人カウンターで実施してくれない場合があります。
客室はコンパクトながら清潔に保たれており、快適に過ごすことが出来ます。一方で部屋にも依りますが窓の外が別の高層ビルの壁となっており、陽の光が全く入らず、朝目覚めても外はまだ暗いと錯覚するかもしれません。
比較的リーズナブルな価格で宿泊できますが、個人的には真っ先にお勧めできるホテルではないように感じました。

This is a business hotel located about a 5-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station. While it's fairly accessible from Osaka Station on the Midosuji Subway Line, it can be a bit difficult to reach from the Shinkansen or JR gates due to the station’s large layout and multiple exits.
There are two hotels with similar names - both called “Via Inn Shin-Osaka” - located on the east and west sides of Shin-Osaka Station. This particular hotel is on the west side. To avoid confusion, it's a good idea to double-check the hotel name and location beforehand. If you accidentally go to the east-side location, be aware that there is no shuttle service connecting the two.
The check-in counter is on the second floor, and the elevators are programmed to always stop there. Check-in is done via a self-service kiosk, which I found a bit frustrating to use. For instance, if you make a typo while entering your address, there’s no backspace function - you’ll be required to start over from the beginning. Although the front desk staff generally speak in a polite tone, they tend to insist that all guests use the kiosk, even during busy times, and might not accommodate in-person check-ins at the counter.
The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable. However, depending on your room’s location, the window might face the wall of a nearby tall building, allowing almost no natural light. You may even wake up in the morning thinking it’s still dark outside.The hotel offers relatively affordable rates, but overall, I wouldn’t consider it my first recommendation.

JRゲートタワーの12階のレストラン街にあるレストランの一つで、名古屋名物のあんかけパスタが堪能できるお店です。外装・内装共に典型的な商業施設のレストラン街にあるレストランそのもので、『あんかけパスタ』が名古屋名物の一つであるため特にランチタイムは店外に長蛇の列が出来ます。あんかけパスタ自体ボリュームたっぷりであるものの、他のレストラン街のレストランと同様に食事をする以外のテーブルサービス等のサービスがあるわけではなく、また席数も充分にあるため、客の回転は決して悪くないように思います。
太い面は他の『あんかけパスタ』を給仕するレストランにも見られますが、このレストランの、パスタにかける『あん』は、とろみはやや少なく、酸味が少し強いさっぱりとした味付けになっているように思います。肉類やキノコ・野菜などのトッピングと一緒に麺を食べてもくどくなり過ぎず、最後まで食べきっても後味や口の中に味の重さを残さない（あるいは残りづらい）味付けになっているように思います。
大型商業施設内のレストランであるため、スタッフの接客対応も混雑時間帯の利用客の出入りを充分に熟知しているように思いました。そのため、特段不愉快な対応や質の悪い接客対応は見当たりませんでした。典型的なレストランではありますが、食事の選択肢の一つとして勧められるお店だと思います。

Both the exterior and interior reflect the typical style of eateries found in large commercial complexes. Because Ankake pasta is a well-known regional dish, the restaurant often sees long lines outside - especially during lunchtime.
Despite the generous portion sizes, the restaurant operates efficiently due to its sufficient seating and lack of additional table services beyond meal serving, which is common in such dining areas. Therefore, customer turnover remains fairly smooth.
The noodles are thick, consistent with what you would find at other Ankake pasta restaurants, but what sets this place apart is the sauce - known as "An". Unlike others, it’s slightly less thick and features a tangy, refreshing flavor profile. When combined with toppings like meat, mushrooms, and vegetables, the dish feels balanced and not too heavy, even when eaten to the last bite. It leaves little to no lingering heaviness in the mouth.
As the restaurant is located in a major shopping center, the staff appear well-trained in handling crowds, particularly during peak hours. Service was smooth and professional, with no unpleasant interactions. While the place is quite typical in terms of design and atmosphere, it’s a reliable and recommended option for those looking to try a local Nagoya specialty in a clean, efficient environment.

御徒町駅の北口から徒歩1分程度、春日通り沿いにある旭川味噌ラーメンのお店です。非常に大きく目立つ看板が掲げられているため、迷う人はまず居ないでしょう。店頭に掲げられたメニューから、非常に濃厚な味噌ラーメンを想像しがちですが、トッピングの一つである豚肉の角煮がこのラーメン店の特徴の一つであり、その角煮が濃厚な味付けで且つボリュームのある見た目であるため、ラーメンのスープの味付けは、意外にもやや軽めに感じるかもしれません。
建物の外観から1階以外にも客席があるように思いますが、実際に店内に入ると1階のみと感じるかもしれません。それほど店内は狭く、また店内の昇降用の階段が見つけづらいです。階段も狭く、少なくとも人がすれ違えるほどの広さはありません。
出入口脇に設置されている券売機であらかじめ食券を購入する必要がありますが、御徒町駅付近の春日通りは平日休日問わず混雑しているため、スペース的に購入しづらい（券売機を操作しづらい）と感じるかもしれません。休日や雨天の日などはその印象が一層増長されるでしょう。こういった状況から、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方、小さな子供連れ、大きな荷物を持っている方、大人数での利用はお勧めできません。また快適に気兼ねなく利用したい場合、日や時間がかなり限定されてしまうと思います。
濃厚な味付けの角煮がトッピングされた典型的ながら定番の味噌ラーメンが堪能できるお店ではありますが、店の構造上やや利用しづらいと感じるお店でもあります。

This is an Asahikawa-style miso ramen shop located about a one-minute walk from the North Exit of Okachimachi Station, right along Kasuga Street. With its large, eye-catching sign board, it’s very hard to miss - even for first-time visitors.
From the exterior menu, you might expect an extremely rich miso broth. However, one of this shop's signature toppings is braised pork belly (Kakuni), which is richly seasoned and visually substantial. Because of that, the miso broth itself might actually taste lighter than expected to balance the flavors.
The interior may look as if there is only one floor of seating, but there is actually a second floor of seating as well. The interior is quite cramped, and if there are stairs to other floors, they’re hard to locate. The staircase, if used, is narrow - definitely not wide enough for people to pass each other.
You’ll need to purchase a meal ticket in advance from a vending machine near the entrance. However, since Kasuga Street near Okachimachi Station is often crowded, whether on weekdays or weekends, space around the machine can be tight and difficult to maneuver. This can feel especially inconvenient on rainy days or holidays.
Because of these space limitations, this shop is not recommended for wheelchair users, families with small children, travelers with large luggage, or large groups. Even solo diners may find it more comfortable to visit during off-peak hours or on less busy days.
While it serves a classic and satisfying bowl of miso ramen topped with a flavorful block of Kakuni, the overall structure and environment of the restaurant make it less than ideal for all types of visitors.

熊本駅の東口から徒歩1分程度のところにあるビジネスホテルです。熊本駅に非常に近いため利用客も確かに多くはありますが、逆に熊本城や熊本市の繁華街・商店街からはやや遠い場所であるからか、休日でもうんざりするほどの利用客では無いように見受けられます。
さらにホテル周辺の商業施設も概ね20時に閉店するため、夜は比較的静かに過ごすことが出来ると思います。一方でこのほとんどの商業施設の20時閉店が、夜間の食事場所の確保に苦労する可能性があるように感じます。勿論20時以降も営業している飲食店はありますが、種類がかなり限られてしまうことに注意が必要です。とは言えコンビニエンスストアは複数あるため、食料の調達は特段不自由は感じないでしょう。
客室の広さは他のビジネスホテルと遜色なく、常に快適に過ごせるよう清潔に保たれているのは言うまでもありません。エレベーターも3基あるため、高層階の客室に宿泊していても、エレベーターが来ずイライラする機会は少ないと思います。スタッフの接客対応の質も高く、また大勢の利用客や外国人観光客への接客にも慣れているように見受けられ、特段問題点は無いと思います。
夕食の食事場所の確保にやや苦労する面があるものの、夜間は比較的静かに過ごせるため、熊本滞在の拠点の一つとしてお勧めできるホテルの一つだと思います。

This business hotel sits about a one-minute walk from Kumamoto Station’s East Exit. Thanks to the station-side location, it does attract steady traffic, but because it’s some distance from Kumamoto Castle and the downtown shopping-entertainment district, even weekends rarely feel overwhelmingly busy.
Most nearby shops close around 8 p.m., so evenings are pleasantly quiet. The downside is dinner: after 8 p.m. restaurant options shrink noticeably. A few places remain open, but choices are limited. Still, several convenience stores are within easy reach, so picking up food or drinks is never a problem.
Guest-room size is on par with other Japanese business hotels and is kept spotlessly clean. Three elevators serve the property, so even guests on higher floors seldom wait long. Front-desk service is friendly and efficient, and the staff appear well accustomed to both large tour groups and overseas visitors.
If you don’t mind planning ahead for dinner, this is a solid base for visiting Kumamoto: steps from the station, quiet at night, and running with the professionalism business travelers expect.

伊賀上野城の他にも、複数の博物館や記念館、忍者の体験施設など、誰と何人で、どんな目的で来ても楽しめる公園だと思います。春は公園内の至るところに植えられた桜が一斉に花開きますが、それ以外の季節（新緑・紅葉など）でも散策コースにはうってつけで、市民は勿論県外からでも観光客が訪れるスポットとなっています。特に秋には、愛好会が育てた菊の品評会、薪能、城のライトアップなどのイベントが開催されますが、それ以外の季節は休日でもあまり多くの人が訪れるようなスポットではないため、静かな環境でのんびりと散策するには絶好のスポットだと思います。
敷地としては広いものの、特に子供の遊び場としては注意点がいくつかあります。一般に広く開放された公園とは言え、歴史的に重要な文化財も多数あります。加えて林のように木が生い茂っている箇所もあり、特にボールやフリスビー等で遊ぶ際は場所に注意が必要になるでしょう。さらに高石垣等の一部の石垣には転落防止用の柵などがありません。不注意でボールや帽子などの身に着けているものだけでなく自身も転落する恐れがあることに充分注意が必要です。

In addition to Iga Ueno Castle, this park features several museums, memorial halls, and hands-on ninja experience facilities, making it enjoyable for visitors of all ages, group sizes, and interests. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom all across the park, offering a beautiful and iconic view. But even outside of cherry blossom season, the park is a wonderful place to stroll - whether in the fresh greenery of early summer or the vibrant foliage of autumn - and it attracts not only locals but also tourists from outside the region.
In autumn, special events such as a chrysanthemum exhibition (hosted by local gardening clubs), open-air Noh performances with firewood lighting (Takigi Noh), and castle illumination take place. During other seasons, however, the park tends to be relatively quiet even on weekends, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful and relaxing walk.
Although the grounds are quite spacious, there are some things to be cautious of - especially if you're visiting with children. While it’s an open public park, it also contains numerous historically significant cultural assets. Some areas are densely wooded, which may limit space for ball games or activities like frisbee. Moreover, certain parts of the high stone walls (ishigaki) lack protective railings, so there is a risk of personal items - or even people - falling if not careful. Please be mindful of your surroundings, especially during active play.
