Casual Japanese diner in Kanazawa, but slow service may not suit tight travel schedules

ポルテ金沢の地下1階のレストラン街にあるレストランの1つです。まるで中華レストランのような内装であるため、事前の下調べや出入口に表示されているメニューの一部を見なければ、中華レストランと間違えてしまうかもしれません。
うどんやそばだけでなく、丼物やカレーなど、いわゆる日本の街中にあるような典型的な食堂で給仕される量を堪能することが出来るレストランです。盛り付け・味付けもこのレストランならではの料理はなくいずれも典型的であるため、金沢の旅で真っ先に訪れる、あるいはお勧めするレストランではありません。そのため、普段と同じような食事をしたい気分の時に利用するといいかもしれません。
一方で、（利用したタイミングがたまたまそうだったからかもしれませんが）少ないスタッフの数で注文・調理・給仕・会計をするため、注文のためにスタッフを呼ぶ際も、注文した料理が来る際も、かなりの時間を要します。客席からスタッフを呼んでもなかなか来ない時があります。手早く食事をする目的での利用には向かないと思います。

This is one of the restaurants located on the basement level (B1) of Porte Kanazawa’s dining floor. Due to its interior design, which resembles a Chinese restaurant, you might easily mistake it for one unless you check the signage or menu posted at the entrance in advance.
The restaurant offers a wide range of typical Japanese casual dishes—such as udon, soba, rice bowls, and curry - served in generous portions, similar to what you might find at a standard Japanese diner.
There is nothing particularly unique or regional about the presentation or seasoning of the dishes, so it may not be the ideal spot for those seeking an authentic or memorable Kanazawa dining experience. However, it could be a good option if you're simply in the mood for something familiar and comforting, similar to everyday Japanese meals.
On the downside, the service can be noticeably slow. Whether it was just the timing of the visit or a regular occurrence, only a few staff members seemed to be managing orders, cooking, serving, and payment all at once. It often took a long time to place an order or receive food, and even calling a staff member to your table could take a while.
Therefore, if you're looking for a quick meal or are on a tight schedule, this may not be the best choice.
