閑静な住宅街にある、非常に人気の高いパティスリーです。クリスマスやバレンタインデーといったイベントのある日でなくても、休日には屋外に長蛇の列が出来る程の人気ぶりです。店の前の道路は狭いため、列が出来る場合かなり狭苦しく感じるかもしれません。
店名の『クリオロ』はカカオの最高品種の名前から取ったもので、店内にはチョコレートもしくはチョコレートを活用したスイーツが数多く並べられています。にもかかわらずそれぞれのスイーツの香りが嫌な匂いに交じり合うようなことはなく、かと言って強く甘ったるく匂うこともなく、程よい香りが店内に広がり、食欲をそそります。主なスイーツはチョコレートやマカロンですが、パンの種類も豊富です。見た目は可愛らしいデザインですが奇を衒ったスイーツはほとんどなく、形や見た目は正統なものが大多数、と言っていいでしょう。
利用客がそれ程多くなければ比較的広々としている店内ですが、多くの人がひしめき合うように利用すると途端に狭く感じます。一方でスタッフの数も充分に配備されており、また上記をはじめとするイベント時の混雑ぶりに慣れているためか、混雑していても丁寧な接客態度であると感じました。どのスイーツを購入するか迷った時には尋ねてみるといいでしょう。

Even on regular weekends - let alone special occasions like Christmas or Valentine's Day - long lines often form outside the shop. Since the road in front of the store is quite narrow, the crowd can make the area feel rather cramped.
The shop's name, Criollo, is derived from the name of the highest-grade variety of cacao. Inside, you'll find a wide range of chocolate-based sweets, but the aroma remains pleasantly balanced - it’s neither overwhelming nor overly sweet, creating an inviting atmosphere that stimulates your appetite. The shop specializes in chocolates and macarons, but also offers a generous selection of breads. While the designs are charming and elegant, the sweets lean toward classic presentation rather than flashy or unusual styles.When not crowded, the interior feels relatively spacious. However, when the shop fills with customers - as it often does - it can feel tight. That said, the number of staff is sufficient, and they are clearly experienced with handling high-traffic periods.
