I like this hotel because easy to access from Echigo Yuzawa station and to the ski field. Just directly to there. No need to carry heavy ski gears a lot. Effective system they have. On the weekend, there were so many families with kids and the restaurant was a bit messy and noisy. But room is clean and hotel staff are very trained and nice. Oh, the akasuri esthetic in bath was amazing, the lady has very good skill and I felt I would love to become like her! But I was too lazy to have this kind of dream. Worth to try this.

There was no other hotels or shopping places around Azuki Onsen, seems only big building here. People also use this facility only for onsen. They have private onsen and could easily reserve, recommended for couple. Food were all japanese style and well served one by one, so could enjoy slowly. Not so many rooms and then less people here, so good for relaxing. There were nice yukatas too.

Even the day our staying, there were 2 boys groups, one was boy scouts, other was high school baseball team. Diner and Breakfast were both buffet, but not like city hotel, really a bit old style. But it would be enough for the person who want eat a lot. Hotel is a bit Swiss mountain hut style, facility is not so new. It is the hotel for just going to Aizu Komagatake for us.

This hotel is not fancy, just simple accommodation but the view from the room was terrific, especially early morning would be the best. The foods were pretty ok, compare to the other facility.

It is worth to have diner there. Enough amount and good taste, can enjoy fresh fish.
