ロスコフ海と花　両親とフランス　その2

一年がかりで計画したフランス旅行。前半は母と２人、後半は父も合流。

今回はブルターニュ地方ロスコフの初日（8月17日）の旅行記です。

Degemer mat e breizh!ブルターニュへようこそ！

なぜブルターニュを旅先の一つに入れたのか。それは未知への憧れです。Great Bretainという英国に対し、Little Bretainとも呼ばれていたりもします。ブルターニュには古代ケルト文化にさかのぼり、ブルトン語（ウィキペディア日本語ではブリトンとありますが）を使用していた民族たちがいたと言われています。ただその数も経緯も実態も謎ものが多いそうです。ユリウス・カエサル率いるローマ軍が来て征服したけれどもあるブルターニュ人が冗談まじりに言うところ「ブルターニュの気候が厳しすぎて彼らはいつかなかったのよね」。ケルト文化とローマ文化、さまざまな文化が交じり合い、フランスの中の異国といわれる土地。確かに歴史上ブルターニュがフランスに属したのはまだ短いから当然かもしれません。その違いを少しでも見てみたくて選びました。

さて、パリモンパルナス駅から3時間半、モルレー（Morlaix)駅でTGVを降ります。ロスコフ（Roscoff)まで車で約27キロあるのですが、宿泊するアパート主シャンタルさんが車で迎えに来てくれるというアレンジをして下さいました。通常バスか本数が少ないけれど電車も出ています。シャンタルさんはとっても優しくて明るい方。アパートに行く前に寄り道をたくさんしてくれ（1時間以上も！）ブルターニュの楽しい旅の幕開けです。小雨（ブルターニュのクランシュと言うらしいです）が多い土地には珍しいピーカン照りです。

モルレーからロスコフに北上する中間点あたりにあるサン ポル　ドゥ レオン（Saint-Pol-de-Léon）の町の教会前へ寄り道してくれました。なんてきれいな町！ブルターニュの中でも景観のよいところとして知られているそうです。

Degemer mat e breizh! Welcome to Brittany!

Why travelling to Brittany? I have a curiosity toward the unknown. Brittany has been referred as Little Britain as opposed to Great Britain. Historically, Celtic tribes used to inhabit in Brittany. Today, Brittany still has some of those Celtic traditions and culture woven into the Brittany culture. For example, one such influence is the language called Breton which is still spoken and taught at schools.

Brittany's weather can be unpridictable. History suggests that when Julius Caesar came to build the Roman Republic, those Romans didn't stay too long in Brittany. One Breton lady was making a joke : "Harsh weather in Brittany didn't attract those people". It is considered relatively new that Brittany is in France over the long history. I was more and more attracted to know their culture and history.

I got off TGV (Train de Grande Vitesse) at Morlaix station. Chantal, the apartment owner in Roscoff kindly offered to pick us up. It is about 27km from Morlaix to Roscoff by car. Not only did Chantal picked us up as promised, she took us on a guided tour of Roscoff for over an hour, in and around Roscoff and even outside of Roscoff. It was a beautiful sunny and bright day, which made the tour even more special. Chantal indicated that it is rare for Brittany to have this beautiful sunny day. She taught me one French word to describe drizzling in Brittany.

This photo was taken in Saint-Pol-de-Léon, the mid point from Morlaix to Roscoff. The village is known to be one of the prettiest places in Brittany.

13世紀に建てられたサン ポル　ドゥ　レオンにある大聖堂。シャンタルさんは「ブルターニュの教会は建物のレースと言われていてね、その細かい美しさはフランス1なのよ」

This cathedral was built in the 13th century. Chantal explains : "we call cathedrals and churches in Brittany　dentalle（lace) because of their detailed and delicate beauty".

さぁロスコフへ入ってきましたよ！目の前に広がるアーティチョーク畑と海。
フランス語ではRoscoff, ブルトン語でRosko。

今日全て通ってきた所の名前がズラリと。

こだわりのある町、ひとくせある町、とでも訳しますか、その強い個性がチャーミングポイントとして、こだわりのある小さい町協会に承認されています。

ロスコフは地理上町の西端、北端、東端と三方向海に囲まれています。シャンタルさんはその説明をして下さり、気候だけでなく、特産のたまねぎ、アーティチョーク、カリフラワーの畑もたくさん通ってくれました。

If I go into more detail :

Department : Finistère (Penn-ar-Bed in Breton)

Canton : Saint-Pol-de-Léon (Kastell-Paol in Breton)

I have been passing by all these places today.

Roscoff has been rewarded as "small town of character" from the Brittany small town of character association.

Chantal also mentioned that the city is surrounded by sea in the west, north and east tips. The city is famous for their onion, artichoke and cauliflower.

「ここがロスコフでもっとも可愛いお家のひとつなのよ！」と車を止めて下さいました。右端に青いのが見えますね、写真だと遠そうですが実際とても近い海です。

Chantal says that "this is one of the prettiest Breton houses in Roscoff!" You can see the sea on the right side.

奥側のお家も一枚。ブルターニュ地方の伝統的な家はこの灰色のスレート屋根と石と雨戸が特徴です。

Let's take one more photo from another angle. Traditional typical Breton houses often have slate roof, stone wall and shutter.

そして少し走って海に出ました。ブルターニュ地方本土は土地を掘って平らにしたため、お隣のノルマンディー地方に比べると明らかに平地が多いです。

We kept on driving and came out on the beach. Compared to Normandy, Brittany has the vast flatland because they had dug the land as part of the city planning.

ロスコフの中心地が遠くに見えます。引き潮で舟が泥につっこんでいるように見える、このブルターニュの風景が見たくて！あぁ、ブルターニュに来たんだと実感します。夜になるとどんどん潮が満ちてきて朝にはここは海で舟が浮いているわけです。だから潮がひいているときに普段海の底にあるはずの海藻や貝が見えていて面白くて。。。

We can see Roscoff centre from here. I longed to see this typical Brittany landscape with the low tide!! It made me feel "wow, I am finally here!" The ships look stuck in the mud but eventually water comes back and boats are floating at night and morning. It means I can see seaweed and shell fish that are "supposed" to be in the sea bottom normally, which is very intriguing to me!

「あの丘の上のチャペルはね、あとで行くといいわよ。あそこからの眺望も最高よ。」はい、あとで行きますシャンタルさん。

このあと植物園に立ち寄ってくれて、知り合いの受付をしていた方に私たちを「あとで彼女たちくるから」と紹介してくれました。

そのあとさらにここは海藻を使った商品が面白いとか、ロスコフの中心地のお店の紹介とか、タラソテラピーの場所の紹介とか、海洋医学研究の地域とか、車で紹介していただきました。こんなに期待していなかったので本当にびっくりです。

Chantal stopped at a Jardin Exotique et Botanique à Roscoff (Exotic and botanical garden in Roscoff) and introduced us to her friend who works there. "They will come see you later."

I didn't expect so much that she would show us by car a seaweed factory/shop, Roscoff center and marine research/medical area. Un grand merci à Chantal.

初めてブッキングドットコムを使って予約してみました。このように詮索すれば見つかると思います。Appartement Roscoff Centre Ville　　

手前の机にシャンタルさんが色々な旅のパンフ、本、彼女が作ったバインダー、地図などを置いてくれていて参考になりました。私はこのリビングにあるソファーベットで寝ていたのですが一階で町の中心地なのにおどろくほどに静かに眠れました。

It was my first experience booking at an apartment on Booking.com. You can find her appartment listed as "Appartement Roscoff Centre Ville".

Chantal has provided lots of pamphlets, books, her original travel guide binder, maps, etc. on the desk you can see in the photo. We greatly appreciated her hospitality.

I slept on the couch in this living room. Even though the apartment on the street level in the city centre, it was very quiet and peaceful. I had no trouble sleeping in.

食器洗浄機、電気調理器、オーブン、換気扇、電子レンジ、洗濯機、コーヒーメーカー、冷蔵庫、食器等全て揃っています。食器は私たちは自分たちで洗いましたが、他はみんなありがたく使わせていただきました。

Dish washer, cooker, ventilator, washing machine, coffee maker, fridge, plates and cups...are all here. We washed plates by hand but used the rest of all.

ベッドルームです。バスタオルで作った白鳥の真ん中にバラが。なんと本物のバラが水に挿してあるものでした。こういうてづくり感って嬉しいですね。

This is the bed room. Two swans made by bath towels. Do you see a rose in between? It is a real rose! It made us feel very welcomed.

便座が台の上にあって高いのですけれど、シャワーも清潔です。8月なのに朝晩は冷えるので右横にちょこっとみえるヒーターを少し使わせてもらいました。タオルとかよく乾くので便利です。

チェックアウトの時にいらっしゃるので、その時間を言い、あとは困ったこと等あればいつでも連絡してくるようにと言っていただきました。

The toilet is one step higher. The bathroom is clean. Even in August, Brittany gets chilly in the mornings and nights, so we used a bit of heater that you can see on the right hand side. This is very practical to dry the wet towels too.

I told Chantal our estimated check out time so she can come see us. Then she told us to contact her anytime if it is necessary.

シャワー機能がたくさんあって、（6個小さいのがついているものから）滝の湯？みたいにが〜っとこちらに向かって出てくるのもあり。少し遊ばせてもらいました（笑）。

Shower functions were fun, so I had to play with! ;)

さきほどシャンタルさんが車でまわってくれた、町の中心地にあるクレープ屋（Crêperie)に来て遅いランチにしました。フランスのレストランの時間帯ってバーとかあと観光客用のレストランでない限り結構昼と夜の間はしまっています。昔の日本もそうでしたけれど。。クレープ屋はおやつ用にも日通し開いているので確かに便利です。

ブルターニュはクレープとシードルが有名です。シードルはお隣のノルマンディーの方が有名ですが、こちらでもシードルブルトンが飲めます。シードルの語源は発酵したリンゴジュースです。厳密にいうとシードルはBrut, Demi-sec, douxに別れます。Brutは一番糖分が少なく、1リットルあたり28グラム以下の糖分が含まれています。Demi-secが28グラムから42グラムまで、douxが42グラム以上です。アルコールの強さも違い、Brutが一番強いです。今回頼んだのはボトルできました。とてもおいしい。このあと私はブルターニュでシードルを頻繁に頼むようになりました。しかもミネラルウォーターよりもやすかったりするし。

コクリコさんに教えていただいていたキール・ブルトン Kir Breton（左の赤いの）を母は頼みました。普通のキールは白ワインと（カシス）リキュールですが、キール・ブルトンはシードルブルトンと（カシス）リキュール。

As famous Normandy cidre, Brittany has its own cidre, "cidre breton" too. The origin of name cidre is fermented apple juice. To be very specific, cidre is categorized into Brut, Demi-sec, and doux. Brut has the least amount of sugar among all, it contains less than 28 grams of sugar par litter. Demi-sec contains between 28 to 42 grams and doux is less than 42 grams. The alcohol degree differs as well, Brut contains the most alcohol. My cidre at this restaurant was served in a bottle. Very delicious. I was into cidre while travelling in Brittany. They are sometimes cheaper than mineral water at restaurants.

The red drink on the left side is called "kir Breton". Regular kir is made of mix with white wine and liqueur of (cassis) fruit but kir Breton is made with cidre Breton and (cassis) fruit liqueur. As my friend on this blog had recommended, I had to give it a try!

クレープリー デ ラ ポステ フレンチ

これはガレットコンプレットgalette complèteといいます。そば粉で作った甘くないクレープのことです。中にハム、チーズ、半熟というかほとんど生の卵が入っています。ものすごく大きいので、これだけでお腹一杯。デザートはいかがですか、と来たけれど、可愛いウェイトレスさんに「結構です」と言うとニヤリとされました。結構フォートラでガレットを食べた後に甘いクレープ（小麦でできたもの）を頼むという旅行記を見ますが、私はお腹一杯。

This is called galette compète. Galette means buckwheat pancake (crêpe), normally savoury one. It has a few slices of hams, shredded cheese and one egg. This is huge and rich, so one filled me. The pretty server asked us if we wanted to have any desert but we couldn't have it. Some people enjoy eating a galette then a (sweet) crêpe for the desert.

さてこれもシャンタルさんからの情報で、ロスコフはありがたいことに夏の間無料シャトルバスRosko Bus が市内を朝10時から夜7時まで巡回しているとのこと。まさに私たちにはピッタリ！このバスに乗っておすすめされた丘の上のチャペル、植物園の方に行きましょう。バス停が町中心地の教会近くにあるのを発見。教会は明日でも入ることにして‥　それにしても小さな町に立派な教会です。

This is another useful information from Chantal: that during summer, Roscoff runs free shuttle bus for everyone between 10am to 7 pm. It was perfect for us! We shall go to the botanical garden and the chapel that were recommended by Chantal by taking this shuttle bus! We found a bus stop nearby the church. We visited this great church the next day.

聖バーバラチャペル　Chapelle Sainte Barbeにきました。シャンタルさんによると昔このチャペルから漁に出る旦那を奥さんが待って漁の無事を祈っていたりしたとのこと。でも中にはやはり帰って来ない方も多かったとか。ちなみに下記のサイトによるとこのチャペルは1619年に建てられ、聖バーバラはオランダ人だったそうです。ロスコフから特産のたまねぎを持って海に渡りイギリスにたまねぎを売って歩いたジョニー一家もここで航海の無事を祈ったそう。壁の白さは航海の際に船乗りに指標とされているそうです。

We got to the Chapelle Saint Barbe (on the hill). Back then, wives were waiting for their fisher husbands safe journey by praying at this chapel. Unfortunately there were times when many didn't come back. According to the website above, this chapel was built in 1619 and Saint Barbe was Dutch. The famous Johnnies who brought and sell Roscoff onions in England too, greeted the chapel on the day of their departure. The whiteness of chapel is used as landmark for the sailors.

このチャペルの丘の上に立ってロスコフ中心地を見渡します。絶景かな。

明日実はこの写真に見える渡り橋？の端で舟を降りて町側まで歩くことになります。引き潮だと朝船に乗ったところまで船がいけないので、それを考えて作られた橋なんですね。

海の中の方の黒っぽいのは海藻のせいなのです。海藻があまりないところは海の色が水色になっています。とにかく海がものすごくきれいなのです。

We walked on the bridge next day. When the tide is high in the morning, we could take a boat off to island just beside the city centre. With low tide in the afternoon the boat stopped at the end of bridge because there was no water, so we could come back to the city centre by walking on the bridge. It was very interesting.

You can see dark parts in the sea, that are seaweeds. Sea is very clean.

同じくチャペルの丘から右側はイギリスやアイルランドに行く大型船が発着する港や工場などがあります。ヨットもたくさん整列していました。畑も見えて、ロスコフの自然の豊かさがわかる一枚です。

On the ride side (east side of Roscoff), there are many private boats, big ferries and some industrial factories. Also there are many vegetable fields along the sea. Roscoff has rich geography.

こんな可愛い家も見えます。目の前にラマンシュ海峡(イギリス海峡)！

再び巡回バスに乗り植物園を目指すも、降りるところを間違えたようです。あっ、でもそのおかけで、さきほどシャンタルさんに教えてもらったアルゴプリュスというロスコフの海藻を使って化粧品や石鹸やまたは食べものを売っている工場直売販売所の近くに来ました。寄って行きましょう、アルゴピュルスの店舗はロスコフ中心地にもありましたが、こちらの方がやはり広い。シャンタルさんのアパートもこちらのボディソープが置かれていてとてもいい香り。

We hopped into a shuttle bus but probably missed our right bus stop. But because of that, we bumped into the seaweed product factory/shop, Algoplus, that Chantal had been talking earlier. It says "vente directe" (direct sale). Compared to a small shop in the city centre, this factory shop is bigger and carries many products. Chantal has their products - soaps - in the apartment, they were actually great.

ここで海藻入り塩、海藻入りマスタード、海がテーマの石鹸等購入。WakameとかNoriとか書かれて売っているの見たけれど今この写真を見たらKombu royalと！！　はぁ、ロイヤル昆布ですか！オーブンでする蒸し料理に最高とありますが、所かわれば、使用法は違うかもれしれないけれど、日本語を使っているあたり、さすが海藻では日本が世界的に有名ですね。

We bought salt with seaweed, mustard with seaweed and marine soap. We also saw wakeme and nori products. Now I noticed with this photo that they say "Royal Kombu"! wow! They say to use kombu to steam your fish. I was amazed how much these Japanese seaweed names have been used around the world!

アルゴプリュスから植物園まで歩きます。途中こんな可愛いお家を通ったり。ブルターニュではアジサイortensiaがとっても有名なんだそうで、色も丈もさまざま。

We walked from Algoplus to the botanical garden. On the way, we saw a pretty Breton house. You can see Hydrangea (in French : ortensia)in many places across Brittany.

植物園です。先ほどシャンタルさんに紹介していただいた女性にご挨拶して入場します。

ル ジャーディン エクスティック デ ロスコフ テーマパーク・動物園・水族館・植物園

小さいながらもビニールハウスもあり、サボテン類が充実しています。さすがエキゾチック庭園と名が付いているだけあります。

There are lots of cactus in a small greenhouse. The exotic and botanical garden name is really reflected well in this regard.

和みますね。Very relaxing.

すばらしい。プレザンス湾の眺望です。ここにベンチがないのだけが残念だと誰かが言っておりましたが、その通りです。持ってきた水筒に入っているお水で喉を潤しました。

What a view again! The view of plaisance port.　Someone was saying "it is only regrettable without any bench here." and it is indeed so.

先ほど見た整列している舟がさらに間近に見えます。ズームなどで撮っていないので、距離が近いのがわかると思います。

The boats I showed you earlier can be seen much closer now. I didn't use any zoom function when taking this photo, so you can see how close we were from the sea.

さて植物園を堪能したので、そろそろ帰りましょう。ほうれんそう畑かなぁ？寄り道寄り道。。あぁ、ロスコバスが目の前を通り過ぎて行った！次のは15分後かな？と見ると、夜は7時間まで。時計を見ると7時5分。母は「きっと今のが今日の最終バスじゃない？」と。植物園からアパートまで歩いてもそう遠くないと知ってはいたけれど、てくてく歩いて行くと中心地にある教会の尖塔が見えました。「あっ、あっちの方向だね」すると持参していた地図の通りと自分たちがいるところがわかり、中心地まで10分ちょっと。

We fully enjoyed the garden and left there. Spinach field? Stopping here and there. Many fields and flowers on the streets too. "Ah, Rosko bus has just passed". Next one may be in 15 minutes. My mom says "oh, it may be the last bus on the day." It is 7:05pm. From the garden to the apartment shouldn't have been far, so we decided to walk back. As we were walking, the tip of the church was on our sight.

海沿いに来てもう中心地だと思ったら、L'Ecume des Joursというレストランが見えます。ここはトリップアドヴァイザーで確認済み。行きたいレストランの一つだったので、ちょうどいいと入ることにしました。

We got into the city centre and all we saw was "L'Ecume des Jours". I had checked this restaurant on TripAdvisor. So we decided to go in.

レキューム デ ジュール フレンチ

レストランのテラス席にある可憐なアジサイ。

このレストラン、夜のメニューが少し複雑でした。夜はこの昼のメニューのこれだけはやっている、とか。結局35ユーロの前菜、メイン、デザートのフォーミュルを注文。お酒についてくるお通しです。ガスパチョとツナタルタルです。どちらも夏めいていて美味。

This restaurant dinner menu was a bit complicated. We finally took 35 euros set menu. This is an amuse bouche for the drinks. Gazpacho and tuna tartar. These were very summary and refreshing.

私はたまたまお昼と同じ銘柄のシードルブルットを、母は地ビールを注文したのですがないと言われ、ステラを。メニューにはロスコフビールと書いてあったのに、ここまで来てハイネケンかステラしか置いてないなんてガックリ。後日アパートで地ビールを買って飲むことができましたが‥ 海を見ながらのディナーは最高なのですけれど。。

I happened to take the same cidre brut as lunch and my mom ordered local beer. Roscoff beer was on the menu but they didn't carry it. We were a bit disappointed that they only had heineken or stella although we could drink Roscoff beer the other day... By the way, the sea view was great.

海を見ながら食べる牡蠣。前菜で六個も牡蠣がきました。私のいるカナダだったらこれだけで1500円はしそうだけど。氷はレモンの味がします。赤いものはアップルビネガーでお好みでということで、氷とアップルビネガー両方少しずつのせて食べました。「うわぁ、海を食べているみたい。しょっぱいし海の香りがすごい！」こんなに新鮮な生牡蠣を初めて食べました。ブルターニュでこの時を含めて3回生牡蠣を食しましたが、お腹が壊れるどころか、その美味しさに仰天してしまいました。

I had oyster appetizer. There are 6 of them on the plate. If this was in Canada, they would charge me $15 for this plate!! The crushed ice on the shot glass tastes of lemon. The red thing is apple vinegar with apple chips in it. "OMG, as if I am eating sea! So salty and so much sea smell!" It was the most fresh oyster I had ever eaten. I ate oysters three times in Brittany including this dinner, not even worrying about being food poisoned, the deliciousness blew me off!

母は前菜に温かいホタテのヴロテソースを。そらまめもごろごろ。すばらしい！

My mother took a warm scallops appetizer plate with velouté sauce. Beautiful!

メインは母と同じもの。鱈とブルターニュ産の野菜と。カリフラワーの下にあるのはアーティチョークのピュレ。食べられる花も散りばめられお洒落な一品。

We had the same main plate. Sautéed cod accompanied with Briton vegetables. Cauliflower and artichoke purée underneath. A few eatable flowers were sprinkled.

海沿いのレストランですので、風が冷たく寒くなってきてしまいました。ブルブル。

母はチーズと果物のデザートです。

It was getting too chilly especially with the sea wind.

My mother took the desert with cheese and fruits.

私はベリーづくし。イチゴチョコレートケーキとイチゴのシャーベット。シャーベットの下にカリカリクランチが。

My desert was "berries" feature - strawberry chocolate cake with strawberry ice sorbet with crunchy cookies underneath of it.

ロスコフ初日がゆっくりと暮れていきます。帰りましょう。カモメがどなたかの車の上に「落し物」を…つい微笑んでしまう私たち。おやすみなさい自然美が素晴らしいロスコフ。

Our first day in Rosscoff is ending slowly. Let's go back to the apartment. Seagull has just left a little souvenir on someone's car and it made us smile. Good night Rosscoff, a natural beauty town.

  エリアがブルターニュ地方になったら無事見れました。
  そのうち落ち着いたらロスコフに直すといいかもしれないですね。。
  
  しばし見れなかったけれど、表紙の写真は、新着旅行記のところで見れたんだけれど・・　なるほど〜 Roscoffは、ブルトン語で、Rosko、だったわけですね!
  
  あの長い橋は、引き潮の時のためにつくられた橋なんですね〜。
  
  モルレーの駅まで、アパート主のシャンタルさんが車で迎えに来てくれるなんてすごく助かりましたね!　idTGVの乗り心地はどうでしたか?
  
  オルタンシア（紫陽花）、日本では幽霊花と言われていたんですって。　一昨日の世界ふしぎ発見で、ナポレオンの妃ジョゼフィーヌや薔薇園など出てきたのですが、紫陽花のことは、クイズで出てきました＾＾；

  そうそう、ブルトン語の発音はほとんどわかりませんけれど（ようこそブルターニュへだけはわかります）、多分ロスコなのかなぁ。肝心なことを聞くのを忘れました。
  
  そうなのです、長い橋の理由、知ったときに「なるほど！」と感心しました。ＩＬＥ　ＤＥ　ＢＡＴＺに行く船に午後に乗る人で、島に宿泊する人たちはあの長い橋をスーツケースをゴロゴロ持って移動していました。それもおもしろいけれど。
  
  どなたか書いておっしゃっていましたけれど、idTGVの車体はあまり本家とは変わらないと。。　確かに乗り心地はかわらないですね。私idTGVは２等車（19ユーロのです）しか乗らなかったので、TGVの二等車と比べても、ウーン、同じかなぁ。ただチケットを売り出す時期がTGVよりも確実に早いので、お値段はお得感満載でした。
  
  へぇ、幽霊花ですか！シャンタルさんがortensiaと言われたので、あまり花の名前に詳しくない私は、英語だとHydrangeaだしフランス語でもその単語あったと思ったけれど。。と思いましたが、旅行記にはそのままortensiaと書いてみました。今添付していただいた世界ふしぎ発見のサイト見てみました。今はこんなにホームページもできていて便利ですね。この番組は長寿番組なので知っています。でもミステリーハンターとして出ていた女性は初見でした。
  
  wizさんのように海が大好きな方には特にオススメです。というか、ブルターニュは北も西も南も海に囲まれていますからね、そこがブルターニュ人の自慢らしいですよ（笑）。

  私も、dankeさんが書かれたRoskoを見て、発音はロスコかと勝手に思っていました＾＾；

  なるほどね〜!　dankeさんのロスコフが公開する前に予習で?!ももんがあまんさんのロスコフの旅行記を再度拝見したのですがバ島も行かれてましたね〜。（いいね、していたみたいなのに、意識して見ていないと忘れてしまいますね。）　それで、ももんがあまんさんのところにも長い橋が写っていたけれど特に理由は書かれていなかったみたいなので、dankeさんのコメントを見て、なるほどね〜、と思いました。
  
  今、自分が持っている日仏辞典を見てみたら、アジサイ→Hortensia、仏日辞典を見たら、Hortensia→セイヨウアジサイと書かれてありました。　世界ふしぎ発見の今回のミステリーハンターさん私も分かりませんでした。　ジョゼフィーヌは、娘の名前のついた花を（薔薇の他にも）日本から集めていた・・ということでその花は何でしょう?ということでクイズになっていましたよ〜（→紫陽花）。　薔薇に関しては、「ヨーロッパにはもともと低木のバラしかなかったけれど、日本のテリハノイバラという薔薇と交配したおかげで美しい”つるバラ ”が生み出された。」など薔薇園の方が説明されていました。　あ!　それと、ジョゼフィーヌがマルティニーク出身ということで、パリでマルティニーク料理が食べれるところがあるんですよ〜、ということでアンファンルージュ市場が出てきました!
  
  idTGVは、TGVの２等となら、さほど変わりないんですね!

  ももんがあまんさんのロスコフの旅行記、当時私は行ってみたいとコメントを残してあります。それなので行けて感慨深いです。ブルターニュは鄙びたいい土地がいっぱいですね。百聞は一見に如かずですが行って本当によかったです。
  
  西洋あじさい、なのですね。西洋あじさいも日本のあじさいもはかなさがあって私は好きです。クイズの詳細もありがとうございます。
  
  ジョゼフィーヌはマルティニーク出身だったのですね！へぇ。アンファンルージュ市場にマルティニーク料理があるなんて知りませんでした。私が行ったのはモロッカンでしたし、和食もありましたけれど。
