初のCouchsurfingゲストのS氏に逆ホストしてもらいました

　Couchsurfingの初ゲストとなったS氏宅にお邪魔し、逆ゲストになった記録です。なおパートナーのAさんは残念ながらアイスランドに出稼ぎ中で会えませんでした　

　This is a record of visiting Mr. S's place as our first Couchsurfing guest and becoming a guest in return. Unfortunately, his partner A was away working in Iceland, so we couldn't meet.

エリア ウッチ(ポーランド)

　珍しく笑顔

　ワルシャワからウッチまでは列車で１時間。そこでワルシャワ滞在の２日目、３日目はお世話になることになりました。数週間前に父親が亡くなり大変だったようで一時は中止も考えましたが、快く迎えてくれました　左端から出ていくと大通りに出ます
　It takes an hour by train from Warsaw to Łódź. So, on the second and third days of my stay in Warsaw, I was going to be taken care of there. A few weeks ago, his father passed away, and it seemed like it had been tough, and at one point they even considered canceling, but they welcomed me warmly. If we go out from the far left, we'll get to the main street.

　HoneyのAとはIcelandと結んで半年ぶりの再会。アイスランドは気温2度だそうです　やっぱりサブイ（広島弁です）　彼が教えてくれたところでは10件以上Requestを出して受け入れたのは私だけだったそうです　そうなんです、私も特にミュンヘン、ザルツブルクでは同様で諦めました　「Reference（口コミ）がないことに気にならなかった？」と尋ねると「No!」　彼らは最初のゲストという以上に大事な存在です　今後も是非会いたい　ポーランドとの一層強い絆が出来た今回の旅、きっと実現するでしょう
A with Honey was a reunion over the phone with Iceland after six months. Iceland said the temperature is 2 degrees＝sabui (that's Hiroshima dialect　means super cold). According to him, out of more than 10 requests he made, I was the only one who got accepted. I had similar experiences, especially in Munich and Salzburg, so I gave up. When he asked, 'Didn't it bother you that you had no references (reviews)?' he said, 'No!' They are more than just the first guests; they are important people. I definitely want to meet them again. This trip created an even stronger bond with Poland. I'm sure it will come true.

　小学校でいただいたお土産　大阪への留学経験があり、日本語も流暢なJ先生からは金継を象ったCDもいただきました　彼女の日本文化へのリスペクトも凄いです　なお右の出前一丁とChicken RamenはS氏へのお土産　何せ大事なものの1位はCoffee　2位はRamen　3位がHoneyと広言するくらいですから　Honey、怒れ　でもそれを優しく受け入れ、自分もラーメン大好きなHoneyです
Souvenirs I got from elementary school: I received a CD shaped like kintsugi from Ms. J, who has studied in Osaka and speaks Japanese fluently. Her respect for Japanese culture is amazing. Also, the Demae Iccho and Chicken Ramen on the right were souvenirs for Mr. S. After all, he openly declares that his most important things are: 1st coffee, 2nd ramen, and 3rd honey. Honey, you can be mad. But Honey gently accepted it, since she also loves ramen.

　I got to sleep in a lovely room. Mr. S definitely slept on the couch.

　街にはロシア正教の教会が2カ所あります　やはりカトリックやプロテスタントとは違う独特の様式です

　There are two Russian Orthodox churches in town. They definitely have a unique style, different from Catholic or Protestant ones.

　ウッチ生まれなのが有名なピアニストのArthur Rubinstein　1887年彼はユダヤ系家庭に産まれた　現在音楽大学、オペラには彼の名が付けられている　ほかウッチ出身の有名人としてはLW関連ではポーランド亡命政府の密使ヤン・カルスキ　指揮者パウル・クレツキ（ユダヤ系）、建築家のダニエル・リべスキンド

Tadeusz Kościuszko of the Polish independence movement always shows up in history textbooks.
Arthur Rubinstein, the famous pianist, was born in Łódź. He was born in 1887 into a Jewish family. Nowadays, music universities and opera houses carry his name. Other famous people from Łódź include Jan Karski, a secret envoy for the Polish government-in-exile; conductor Paul Klecki (of Jewish descent); and architect Daniel Libeskind.

　そして夕食はラーメン　値段は40Zt（ズロチ）前後　円安で１Ztはカード決済で￥45程度　かなりの値段ですが、海外で食べると大体その程度です　彼がご馳走してくれました　ありがとう

　And then for dinner, it was ramen. The price was around 40 Zt (zloty). With the weak yen, 1 Zt is about ￥45 when paying by card. It's quite expensive, but that's about the usual price when eating abroad. He treated me, thanks.

　味も国外で食べるものとしては上々

　The taste is pretty good for something we eat abroad.

　夜の街歩きは楽しい　でも写真ではその雰囲気や喧騒は伝わらないのが残念です　当然ですが旅はやっぱり実際にしている時が一番楽しい

　Walking around the city at night is fun, but it's a shame that photos can't capture the atmosphere or the hustle and bustle. Of course, the best part of traveling is really when I am actually doing it.

　Photos they sent while traveling for a long time after leaving Japan. They departed from Hiroshima Airport to Hanoi and even went to various countries and New Zealand. A is in Muslim-style clothing.

　日本風に言うと6階　しかもエレベーターはありません　荷物を運びこむのが相当大変だったと話していました

　19世紀に工業都市として発展した。もともと小さい町に過ぎなかったLodzにポーランドの繊維産業の一大中心地を作るという目的でヨーロッパ中から多くの熟練労働者、資本家を招致したため、成功を夢見た人たちが人々が街に集まった。
　冷戦終結後、繊維産業は斜陽に向かったが、工場跡地は様々な文化＆娯楽施設へと再開発された。30haの敷地内にホテル、ショッピングモール、劇場、映画館、美術館などが入ったマヌファクトゥーラは街のランドマーク。

　It developed as an industrial city in the 19th century. Lodz, which was originally just a small town, invited many skilled workers and capitalists from all over Europe to create a major center of Poland's textile industry, so people who dreamed of success gathered in the city.
　After the end of the Cold War, the textile industry went into decline, but the old factory sites were redeveloped into various cultural and entertainment facilities. Manufaktura, which covers a 30-hectare site and houses a hotel, shopping mall, theater, cinema, and art museum, has become a landmark of the city.

　最後の日はウッチ近郊をゆっくり案内してもらい、Wofsschanzeへ向かう拠点オルシュティンに向かいました

　On the last day, he was shown around the outskirts of Łódź at a leisurely pace, and then headed to Olsztyn, the base for Wofsschanze.

　ウッチ、ファブリチーナ駅　ポーランドでも一番大きな駅だそうですが、人はまばら

　Łódź Fabryczna Station. I hear it's the biggest station in Poland, but there aren’t many people.

　暫くして帰って来たA　一緒に山歩きに行ったそうです　A、また会おうね！　それとももう1回日本に来る？
