シャモニーモンブランの1日目です。

おはようございます。今日はアヌシーからシャモニーモンブランに移動の日です。ただバスが昼12時半発、チェックアウトが12時なので、朝まだ時間があります。それなので丘の上にある大聖堂に行ってきます。朝ゆっくりホストファミリーの家族とごはんをいただき、お城も行けるかきいてみましたが、お城は展示館もあってゆっくりみるには1時間半はいるということで、大聖堂にだけ行って時間があれば旧市街に最後行こうかな。
Good morning. I will leave from Annecy today and move to Chamonix-Mont Blanc. My check-out time at this house is at noon and my bus leaves at 12:30, so I still have whole morning to do last visits in Annecy. I enjoyed having breakfast with the host family and I asked for their advice what I could do this morning. I had an idea to go to cathedral on the hill and they agreed with me on that idea. I had heard about the castle, but the host family told me that it would take at least 1.5 hours to see the castle properly with the large sections of exhibits. If I still have a bit of spare time, I may stroll the old town for the last time.

大聖堂がみえはじめました。家から歩いて15分くらいです。
Start seeing the cathedral. It has been 15 min walking from home.

Basilique de la Visitationとよばれています。1909年から建て始め、1930年に建築終了。Alfred-Henri Recouraの建築.

It is called "Basilique de la Visitation".　The construction was started from 1909 and finished in 1930 designed by Alfred-Henri Recoura.

ロマネスク調らしいですが、このタンパンのかんじははじめてみます。

It says this cathedral is based on Romanesque style; but, I had never seen this façade..

中もかなりきれいに修復されています。
Even inside, it has been really restored well.

明るくてシンプルで、なかなかユニークな天井もあります。ここで恒例、旅先でのこれまでの安全とこれからの安全を感謝し祈ります。
Bright and simple with unique ceiling. I always do when I visit cathedrals/churches during my trips, I preyed and appreciated that my trip so far had been safely going and asked for future safety protection.

ここでお城に行く道を大聖堂の外のベンチに座っているご婦人にきいてみますと、お城までは遠いですから、車で送っていきます、と。まぁ20分も歩かないと思うのですが（しかも家からあるいて登ってきたし）、ただ方向があまりわからないので、お言葉に甘えます。アヌシーに30年も住まれている上品なお方でした。その前に大聖堂のある丘の上からとったアヌシー湖。
I saw a lady who was sitting at the bench in front of the cathedral for a while. I asked her a direction to go to the Castle. She told me it would be far to walk and offered me a ride. I climbed till here from home and it should not be too far, but I took her offer. The lady is living in Annecy about 30 years and she was a very elegant lady. I took this photo overlooking Lake Annecy from the hill that the cathedral stood.

運転していただいたおかげで、3分ほどでもうここにつきました。
As she drove me, it took merely 3 minutes to get to the Castle.

アヌシー城 城・宮殿

6月は入城は10時半からです。展示品もあるし結構広いらしいので、時間が有る方はぜひ。あとお城からの眺めがいいそうです。
The Castle opens at 10:30 in June (but opens earlier in July and August). There are lots of exhibits, so we want to visit here when having plenty of time. Apparently the view from the Castle is fantastic.

ここからでも眺めがいいので、お城からだといいのがわかりますね。
Even from here the view is great, so that I can imagine how great the view is from the Castle.

France has many photogenic factors everywhere.

お城のある丘から5分ほどでこの旧市街のシンボルにきました。
I could get this symbolic place (former prison/castle) in the Old Annecy part from the Castle on the hill.

アヌシーの旧市街 旧市街・古い町並み

サン　モーリス教会。起源は1422年のチャペルでアヌシーで一番ふるいのですが、戦時中は異端として扱われ、1804年の再建築まで時間がかかりました。
Saint Maurice Church, the oldest one in Annecy. It was originally built as an Dominican chapel in 1422. However, during war, it was considered cult. In 1804, it finally opened as a church like today.

こんな一角も派手でないけれど好き。
I love this kind of not extra gorgeous area.

愛の橋が奥に見えますね。太陽の光の差し具合と葉っぱの影が水にうつしだされて、なんて素敵な色なのでしょうか。
The "Bridge of Love" can be seen far end ... What the beautiful water colors with the reflection of sun and leaf shades.

水の色が透明すぎてプールみたい。
The water color is so transparent so that it looks like the bird is floating in the swimming pool.

そろそろ家に帰り始めましょう。
I shall start going back to home.

アヌシ-3日目ですが、まだ新しい水路を発見しています。
Being here for three days, I still discover new water routes.

アヌシーは水の色によりいくつもの町の顔があるような気がします。
I feel like the city has multiple faces with the water colors.

道行く人々を見ながら珈琲を楽しむのはとてもいい気分です。
Feels pretty great enjoying café watching people passing by.

ホストファミリーにお別れをし、バスターミナルまで徒歩七分。ouibus(SNCF 運営のバス)でシャモニーモンブランへ。オンライン1ヶ月前購入で10ユーロ。約二時間の旅。座席指定する場合プラス2ユーロですが、2時間だし、しませんでした。出発1時間前に座席が指定されメールできます。運転手さんや混雑状況により座席指定はあってない時もありますし。写真の真ん中は氷河です。
I checked out the house in Annecy and walked to the bus terminal in order for me to take an Ouibus to Chamonix-Mont Blanc. The online ticket purchased a month ago cost me 10 euros for 2 hours trip. If you want a designated seat, it will be extra 2 euros but I did not bother as they often are very flexible with the seats depends on how crowd the bus gets ans length of the travel too. By the way, the middle of the photo is glacier that I took while the bus was going fast..

フォートラベラーの墨水さんの旅行記で拝見したこちらに今回は泊まります。ここだけホテルであとは民泊しました。
Since Mr.Bokusui who is also a traveller on this site was staying at this hotel and I kind of liked this hotel seemed not too fancy style way. This is the only hotel that I stayed in during this trip as the rest three places were AirBnB.

レセプションの方はとても親切。お部屋を3階にアップグレードしてくれた、と。ちなみに変更、返金なしの1泊80ユーロでしたから、シャモニーのこの立地でこの部屋はお得みたい。ただ、なんと、この場所一番の楽しみだった、エギーユ・デュ・ミディの展望台3842メートルに行くロープウェイの運転が途中までしかないとのこと。なんで、ロープがどうも不安定なため、大事をみて今朝から運転中止と。ガーがーーーーーーん。
The receptionist was so kind. He told me that my room had been upgraded to a better room (forth floor). The price was 80 euros (advanced payment) per night without any changes/cancellation and the location is in the heart of Chamonix. I felt really lucky. But then he said : "the tourist office advised us that the téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi has been out of service, to be more specifically the téléphérique does not go all tge way up, due to possible rope defecture from this morning untill July 3." That ropeway goes to 3,842M high, it will be absolutely important to be safe 100%, but it was my biggest purpose to come to this town. OMG....

I tell myself the safery/life are number one,... My room is quite nice with huge balcony doors with mountain view. ?

今は雲で見えないけどモンブランも晴れていればテラスから見える！このお値段でこの部屋に泊まれたのは本当にラッキーでした。
Don't see it now with clouds but I can even enjoy seeing Mont Blanc! With only 80 euros per night, it was a real bargen for me!

バスルームは新しくてきれい。トイレは別室だし。
The bathroom is clean and new. The toilet is in another room, which the Japanese like.

でもやっぱりロープウェイ運転確認したいしその他のアクティビティも教えて欲しい。観光案内所はホテルの目の前、行きました。そうすると「決断は2日前に決まり、昨夜がラスト運転だったと。昨年10月にロープを変えたけど、あんなに高いところに行くから残酷な決断ではあったけど、正しいと確信しています。」と。そしてその代わりのプランを相談して心が落ち着きました。
I still wanted to confirm with the tourism office on the ropeway decision and details, I also needed the alternative activitiy suggestions. I went there to get info. The tourism office is just 30 seconds away from my hotel. The lady explained that : "Last night was the last service as the decision to cancell the service had been decided two days ago. I know it was a brutal decision but given that safety of people going to the high place is our priority, it was a right decision". I was glad that I went to see them, so I now can enjoy doing other activities.

部屋に一度戻ると、モンブランがみえました。なんて素晴らしい眺めなのでしょう。
Going back to my room, Mont Blanc has just apperard. What a splendid view!

モンブラン 山・渓谷

そしてこのホテルの売りである、屋上スパへ。ホテルの人もお客様も一人もいないんだけど。。
I went to the rooftop spa area as this hotel's unique sales point. There was no hotel staff nor guests.

気温17度で肌寒い。
Feel chilly as it was only 17 degrees.

もっと暖かい日は混むのでしょう。
This place will be so popular when the weather is nicer.

サウナです。炭火のような匂い。
Inside the sauna. Smells like charcoal.

サウナからの眺め。低血圧の私はサウナにいられないので急いででます。
View from sauna. I tend to feel dizzy in sauna so I rush out.

シャモニー町散歩。とても清々しい。洒落た温泉街に来たみたい。
Walking in the Chamonix town. Very refreshing. I feel being in a little pretty hot spring village in Japan.

驚いたことにフランスのどの村よりも多くのイングリッシュやスコティッシュのお店の経営者に遭遇しました。とても可愛い方で英語で接客されてびっくり。お客様もみんなヨーロッパの英語の方たち。
Surprisingly I encountered more shop owners either Brits or Scots more than any other villages I had travelled in France. I was served in English and all the other café clients were English.

夜はデリ屋(肉屋)で食べることに。温めてくれるので、そこのテーブルで食べなさい、と。まずりんご ブラックカレントのジュースと
I decided to have dinner at a bucher where they also prepares meals to go. The shop owner was kind so he heated up for me so I could eat at the little table just outside of the shop.

このアルプス地方特有のチーズ、こうし、ベーコン、 ズッキーニコロッケ。美味しかったぁ。
The Alps cheese melted on veal and bacon (guilty pleasure) and zucchini croquette. They were delicious.

お店の名前はLe Mazot。このテーブルで頂きました。

  こんにちは
  先日は書き込みありがとうございました。
  フランス５年連続なんですね。
  一国にこだわり、一国の魅力を味わい尽くす・・素敵なスタンスですね。
  私たちは相変わらず、あっち行ったりこっち行ったりしています。
  
  実は、私の友人が６月に山岳ガイドとともにモンブランの山頂を目指したのです。dankeさんが眺めておられた先に友人がいたのかも(^o^)。
  でもあともう少しという所で体調不良のため山頂を極めることが出来なかったようです。
  その経験もあって、次に控えていたマッターホルンの山頂には立つことが出来たとか・・。
  まだ友人から写真を見せてもらっていないので、dankeさんの記事で、フランスの山岳風景を楽しませていただきました。

  こちらこそいつもありがとうございます。
  
  私はどうも、結構一国集中型みたいです。カナダに住み着いたのも気に入った、他の国を見なくても、ここにいたい、そんな流れがあったと思います。
  
  ただスタリモストさんたちも、色々行かれていますが、中国やインドや欧州の国々や、行かれる先で場所は違いますが、地元の方たちと交流されたり、おいしい地元の食べ物やさんに行ったり、イベントに参加されたり、そんな素敵な旅スタイルは一貫しているのではないでしょうか。私もなるべく地元のかたたちと一緒にバスに乗ったり、民泊したり、市場に行ったり、そんな旅スタイルが大好きです。
  
  私のモンブランはモンブラン登山なしで終わりましたが、やまを遠くから眺めることもどんなに素晴らしいことかを実感しました。ご友人はのぼられたのですね、私も以前富士山頂上間近で体調不良のため下山しましたから、頂上に届く所で引き返すのは悔しいかもしれません。でも、そのあとのマッターホルンは達成されてすごいですね。
  
  先ほどアルバニア1を拝見しました。これからも楽しみです。自称ジョージ クルーニーには笑ってしまいました? なぜか彼は欧米で大人気ですよね。

  フランスはパリしかしらないpedaruですが、5年連続フランスとは驚きです。よほど気に入られたのですね～　
  アヌシーなんて聞いたこともない名前ですが、なんと素敵な街でしょう、清き流れに囲まれて住む人も上品になりますねー。
  見ず知らずの東洋人に車で連れて行ってあげるというフランス婦人、dankeさんのフランス語がネイティブに聞こえたのでしょうか？
  とても嬉しく貴重な経験でしたね。
  
  ホテルの窓からモンブランが見えましたか？素晴らしいですね。
  ちなみに私の部屋で見える物はせいぜいモンブランケーキくらいなものです。
  
  シャモニー街歩き、美味しいものを食べて、綺麗な空気を吸って・・・羨ましい・・・

  いつもありがとうございます。
  
  フランス人になりかけているなんて、実は知り合いには冗談でフランス人と呼ばれたりします。今回もどうしてか、ニースで結構年配の地元の女性の方たちに道を聞かれたりしました。「ソシエテ ジェネラルはどこにあるかご存知ですか?」とご婦人に尋ねられたときに「すみません知りません。」と謝った自分が面白かったです(笑)。観光客の私が。
  
  確かに車に乗せてもらったことはフランス旅で数回あります。でも勿論、慎重に、やみくもに誰の車でも乗りませんが、フランス旅中何度このようなさりげない親切にめぐりあったことか。
  
  モンブランケーキをシャモニーモンブラン最終日に買いました。かなり甘いから他のケーキをすすめられた(素直なフランス人なので)のですが、ここは是非、と食べましたよ。日本のとは大分違いましたけど、いい思い出です。
