おはようございます。相変わらずAirBnBのオーナーの飼い猫ちゃんはきままに私の部屋にきて(まぁ正確には私が彼の家にお邪魔しているのですけどね 汗)、でん、としております。
Good morning! The lovely cat at my staying place from AirBnB comfortably sits in my room (by the way, I called "my room" but it is indeed "his house" lol)

こちらは朝食込みでキッチン、シャワー、居間、テラス、トイレ共用。旧市街のすぐそば。赤ちゃんを含めた家族もいるので特に女一人旅にはセキュリティーも安心。コーヒーや紅茶も夜に出してくれたりしました。とにかく今日はお天気が午後から崩れる予定らしいので、貸し自転車屋で自転車を10時半までに取りにいく予定なのでいそぎます。その前に旧市街で今日は市場がやっているといわれたので、通り道だし何か買っていこう！
This place includes breakfast. The bathroom, kitchen, living room and main balcony are shared with the host family. They were so kind to offer me coffee/tea in the afternoon as well. According to today's weather forecast, the afternoon weather does not look great and I had already booked an electronic bike to get it by 10:30, so I should chop chop.. The host lady kindly referred me to the farmers' markets today in the old Annecy, so I would pass by and get something for picknick lunch.

アヌシーの旧市街 旧市街・古い町並み

さぁ本当に市場がたっています。フランス旅の大好きな一つ、マルシェのぞき。アルザス、パリ、ブルターニュ、プロヴァンス、アキテーヌ、ピレネー、フレンチバスク、そして今回ここローヌアルプスとコートダジュールで色々なマルシェを見ましたが、やっぱり面白い。
This is the Marché! One of my favorite things to do in France - going to Marché! I have been to Alsace, Paris, Bretagne, Provence, Aquitaine and French Basque in the past few years, also Rône-Alps and Côte d'Azure this year. They are all unique and exiting.

さすがにチキンを持って炎天下数時間サイクリングしたくないので、我慢。でもリオンできちんとマルシェのグリルドチキンを買いました。
Even though I love so much grilled chicken, I don't want to fetch grilled chicken under the direct sunlight to do cycling for a few hours, I wouldn't buy this time. But I did buy the half of grilled chicken at a farmers's market in Lyon.

これは旧市街からお城に続く道。明日行くことにしました。
This is the path I could go to a castle, I did so on the next day.

さぁこれです。電動自転車。カシ(プロヴァンス)で借りた時は身分証明書なんて要らなかったけどその時はオンライン事前支払いだったからかな。まぁいいけど、パスポートを預けてしかも1000ユーロ仮の"ホールド"をクレジットカードにかけられたけれど。。 ちなみにレンタル代そのものは3～4時間で40ユーロ。普通の自転車だと半額くらいですが、地元の人にもし湖1周するなら電動自転車を勧められました。正解です。結構なだらかな坂もあるし私は道に迷い急な坂道のコースに行ってしまいましたので。。

This is the e-bike. When I rented e-bikes with my parents in Cassis, Provence, they did not take my ID at all but this time, they kept my ID and put hold.of 1,000 euros on my credit card. In fact, the e-bike rental for 3 to 4 hours cost 40 euros. Normal bikes cost half of this price but I was advised by a host family to take an e-bike as this area has some hilly roads around the lake if I do a whole Lake Annecy cyclying. It was so right for me to take an e-bike.

This bridge is famous 'bridge of love', apperantly your love relationship will last (for) good if you cross two. I did cross with my bike, I also crossed by myself. Lol

水の色が綺麗ですね。
The water color is just stunning.

さぁアヌシーを12時の方向にして時計回りにサイクリグ開始。地図は紙の大体のが一枚。昨日家(宿)の奥さんに、所々自転車ロードが分かりづらいから気をつけるように言われたのと、地元の方でも二時間はかかったらしいので、私はあえて3～4時間レンタルしました。ゆっくり行きたいので。
So I have begun the cyclying, going from Annecy along the Lake Annecy. I only had one very general map. I was told that some parts were a bit confusing due to construction and also it toom at least two hours for a local person to return to Annecy after the whole lake biking. I rented an e-bike for 3 to 4 hours so that I should be able to enjoy peoperly.

あぁなんて気持ちいい。右手に湖。サイクリングコースなので安心。
So refreshing. Lake on the right side. This is a "green road" car free part, so I feel safer.

Veyrier-du-LacやMenthon-Saint-Bernardを通り、あっと言う間にアヌシーの街を湖正面にみます。

I have passed towns called Veyrier-du-Lac and Menthon-Saint-Bernard. Annecy city is already face to myself.

この優れものの電動自転車の部品はbosch社か、さすがだ。4時間ごには電池が2つにまで減っていましたが、最初はのろのろ時速15キロくらいでいっていて、時間が足りないと思い最後の半周は27キロくらいで走りました。
This meter is made by Bosch, wow. I was going like 15km/hr the beginning, but I realized that I was so behind the schedule. Later I was doing 27km/hr the last one hour.

こういう風景大好きです！空気が美味しい。
I love this kind of scenary. Air is so pure.

I have stopped a bit to nibble these mini saucissons and

さくらんぼとアプリコットを食べ休憩。湖をみながらで格段に美味しい。
Cerries and apricots. Looking at the Lake, I even felt taste better.

でも侮れません。こんなにのどかでも高級リゾート地です😅
But we cannot underestimate these towns, they are so peaceful and so expensive to stay in..

このお家は何かな。

水がキラキラしています。

このお城には入れませんでした。昨日クルーズで見えていたところだな。
I could not get in to this castle but I saw this from the lake while I was on the boat yesterday.

花の博物館、はいりませんでしたが、入場自由です。
Flower pavillion, free entrance.

結構な人たち。

釣りもマリンスポーツも。

アルプス地方では釣りをしている人がたくさん。
So many people are finishing.

ここで町にある地図を見て愕然。まだ4分の1しかきてないのにもう一時間半経過しています。このペースだと自転車を時間内に返却できないかも！
It was a great surprise to know that I had just passed 1/4 of Lake cycling. It had been already 1.5 hours passed. I could not keep on this slow pace in order for me to return the bike in time.

Then there are so many pretty towns/houses came into my eys!

ショコラティエなんておいしそう。立ち止まって寄りたい！
I want to stop at the chocolate shop!

その右の巨大な自転車のオブジェ、まさにサイクリストが多いこの土地にピッタリ。
Goats and one huge bike objet. They represent well this area.

パラグライダーの人達が真上に見えてきます。そして私のようなめっちゃ観光客なサイクリストがいなくなってきました。
Paragriders are as much as birds in the sky. I start seeing less and less cyclists like me.

車道が右、自転車道左。会うのはツールドフランスのかっこうのような筋肉がしまった人達ばかり。とりあえず進め！
Car streets on the right, bike lanes on the left. All I see now is someone like Tours de France atheletes!!

あ、ここで皆パラグライダーやるんだ。タロワーという所です。実は宿の旦那さんもやるとか。
This is the paragrider landing/taking off place inTalloires. My host family's husband also does that.

湖が見えた。うわ、素敵。
I could see the lake again! Fantastic!

この一枚大好き。ここは道に迷う直前に通ったところ。
I love this one. This is where I was before I got lost.

これ、こういうおしゃれな家がアルプスにはありました！
I like this kind of beautiful house in the Alps area.

久々に大きい町だと思うサイクリストの私です。(少し焦っているし)
Going though a bit of bigger town.

まぁ普通の自転車なら電話かりて1時間延長してください、でいいのですが、なんせ電動自転車は在庫が少ないし、人気があるし、それでいいのかわかりません。
For a normal bike rental, it could be a simple call to ask for extension but I knew they only had 10 e-bikes in stock and so in demand, so I want to avoid any trouble.

でもこんなに美しい所はスキップできません。
But I cannot skip such a beautiful open space.

タロワも通過。とりあえず湖沿いを行く私.
I have already passed Talloires. I am going along the Lake.

この部分のサイクリングコースは格別でした。もう右手に水、左道路はさみ崖。
This part of cycling path was exceptional. Just right side is water, left is cliff.

Balmetteに突入。Getting into Balmette.

ここで休憩。本当に車が時々通るくらい。静か.
Having a break. Very quiet as sometimes cars pass by..

美しすぎて涙が出そう。
It almost made me cry as so breathtaking.

こういうところを走ってきたのです。
I was just running through this edgy path.

さぁ進みます。が、15分走っても湖が見えません。それもそのはず、この自転車道はこのまま湖ルートを離れて山の方へ直通していたのです。
After a short break, I kept on going. But I was going away from the Lake and toward mountains. Where is the Lake? I have not seen the Lake almost last 15 minutes.

Doussardという標高465メートルある村へ向かっていました。これはおかしいと思い引き返した時にみた看板。スペイン人の女の子にきいたら、プロでないと危ないコースよ、と言われ、しかも行く気もなかったので聞いて引き返してよかった。
I found out that I was on the path to Dussard (alt.465 meters), mountain side. I asked a direction to a Spanish girl and she was also returning toward Annecy.

湖を半周したことがわかり、湖が再び見えてきたときには安堵しました。
I finally figured out where I was and I was glad that I had done more than half the trip finally.

このサイクリングコースもいいな。
This cycling path is great.

と、真っ暗です、とあるトンネル。ドイツ人カップルに聞いてみると、「アヌシーにはこのトンネルを通ったらいけますよ。」と。でもこの頃には観光客風サイクリストも多くて安心です。ただ私はこの時時速27キロで飛ばしていたので少し異常に見えたかも。。
Then I bumped into the tunnel. I asked a German couple and they were also going to Annecy. They also went through this tunnel with me. By this time, I saw lots of tourist cyclists like me too as this area is closer to Annecy. But I may look weird going 27km/hr at this point to catch up my time.

アヌシーに近づいて来たことがわかる大きめの町にさしかかります。Duingt 湖の宝石、とキャッチフレーズが町の看板にあります。この看板をさらによくみると岩登り、洞窟、ハイキングコースなど魅力的なものたくさん。
I am getting to relatively larger town in this area that indicates I am close to back to Annecy. This town, Duingt offers rock climing, grotes and hiking trails. The town is also indicated as "perle of lake".

カランコロンと牛についた鐘のなる音。宿の赤ちゃんは動物大好きなのでこういうのが日常そんなに遠くに行かなくても見られるのはいいですよね。
We can hear the cow bells peacefully. My host family's baby loves animals, so it would be great for these babies (or anyone) that they don't need to go too far to see animals.

このへんは私のような観光客や普通のサイクリストがたくさん。というのは大体の人達はアヌシーから湖を半周することを選ぶためです。

We have more tourists and cyclists like me in this area than before. Some people do half a lake cycling starting from Lake Annecy instead of whole lake tour, as it should be less hard and less time.

なんてエメラルドグリーンの水の色なんだ！曇り空でこれだからすごい。
How emerald green the water is! Today is not that sunny, so I know it is pretty clear the water is.

アヌシーに時間通りに帰ってきました。
Getting back to Annecy in time...

アヌシー方面。

太陽の光で水の色が変化します。

アヌシーの港、昨日クルーズに乗ったところでは白鳥がお迎え。
This is the port that I took the boat cruise day before, a swan welcomed my safe trip back.

黒い結構大きめの鳥。
Big black beautiful bird.

無事自転車を返却。自転車屋にいた他のお客が私のことを朝見た、と店員さんに言っていた。そんなに目立ったんだ？
これは市庁舎。
I returned a bike safely. A customer at the bike shop was telling a clark that she had seen me this morning when I was pedalling. Did I stand out much?
This is a City Hall.

アヌシーの中心地もかわいい。
Annecy's central area is also pretty.

日曜日でモノプリ(コンビニ)が閉まっていて冷たいものがかえないので、カフェにより休憩。四時間サイクリングは爽快だったけどさすがに身体的に疲れた。
The Monoprix (convenience store) nearby was closed due to Sunday schedule, so I stopped at the café there to have a break. The four hour cyclying was so lovely but I need to rest my body.

こんな風景が見えるいいテラス席に落ち着く。
Settling down at a nice patio seat.

レモネードをたのみました。ほのかな甘すっぱさがいい。
I had lemonade. Slight sweetness and sourness are just great.

家に帰るにはアヌシーの旧市街をとおらないといまいち方向感覚が無いので、朝同様に旧市街を通って行きます。
In order for me to go back to home, I had to go via Old Town, so I do the same as I did in this morning.

道行く人もパシャ。

この町をいくら眺めていても飽きないなぁ。。
I would never get tired of looking at this city.

ただいま！ オーナと共用のリビングです。
I am home! Living room.

とても夜ご飯は食べに行く体力がなかったので、家の近くのこちらのピザ屋に、お家のオーナーの方に電話してピザのテイクアウトをしてもらうように頼みました。
I had no intention to go out for dinner after a long day of cycling, so I asked my host family's husband to call a pizzaria for take away for me. It was just a few minutes walk.

サヴォワ地方風味のピザをテイクアウトしました。アルプス地方で作られるチーズ、きのこ、ドライトマトとレッドオニオンがふんだん。そしてアルプスビールを購入。私が食べている間、家の旦那さんとたくさん会話をしました。フランス、イタリア(ご両親がイタリア出身)、日本の文化、私の旅程、なんで私がこんなにフランス好きなのか、生活一般。。色々。そして私の素晴らしい一日は更けていくのでした。読んで下さりありがとうございました。

I ordered Savoie (the area comprises roughly the territory of the Western Alps between Lake Geneva in the north and Dauphiné in the south.) flavor pizza, which basically had lots of good mountain type cheese, mushrooms dried tomatos and red onions. I also got "Alps" beer. While I was eating, the house owner (husband) was there and we had great conversations on French-Italian (his parents are from island in Italy) -Japanese cultures, my itenary, the reason why I love so much France and life in general. My gorgeous day is now over..

  真似して見たいサイクリング！

  dankeさん、お久しぶりです。
  
  今日はアヌシーの旅行記を見せていただきました。
  私はアヌシーはまだ行ったことがないのですが、4トラの皆さんの
  旅行記は何度も見たことがあり、水辺と街並みがマッチし、とても
  美しいところだと思っていました。
  
  その美しい旧市街の街並みはもちろんですが、dannkeさんは電動
  アシスト自転車で湖の周囲を回られたんだそうですね。
  気持ち良さそうなサイクリングロードで、いろんな美しい風景に出会え...
  自転車ならではの自然を体感しつつの素敵なルートを私も自転車で
  回ってみたいと思いました。
  
  道に迷われ、見ている私もヒヤヒヤしましたが、無事自転車を返却
  できて、めでたし、めでたし。
  
  また続編も見せていただきますね。

  あけましておめでとうございます。お返事が大変遅くなりすみません。
  
  アヌシーはとても素敵でした。私がついたのは6月初旬でしたので、もう少しするとあの水辺に花が沢山咲き乱れて、お花が大好きなakikoさんでもうっとりなさるでしょうね。どことなく行ったこともないくせに、スイスというか、高級な湖リゾート感もただよう、私にとっては初めてのタイプのフランスの湖畔の町でした。
  
  
  いつもそうなのです、電動自転車や自転車をかりて、最後のほう少し迷うという。。ただそんな気楽なのも、同じところから出発して到着する安堵感からでるのかな。ももんがあまんさんのように自転車が移動の脚となるとまた話は全く違うでしょうね。
  
  私もまたお邪魔させていただきますね。一昨年京都に行ったのですが、とても冬の京都も素敵でした。

  電動サイクリング

  dankeさん　おはようございます。
  
  景色を楽しむサイクリングは時速15キロは最適ですね。歩くことに比べて、行動範囲がひろがります、美しい景色を堪能なさったと思います。
  27キロの疾走は速すぎでしょ(笑)
  
  ところで英語のコメントの併記、素晴らしいアイデアです、というよりも素晴らしい行動力ですね。
  外国を旅して知り合った人にメールアドレスを聞き、写真などを送ったりしますが、そのとき4トラベルのURLを貼り付けますが、日本語では読んでもらえないでしょう、英語のコメントもあったらいいなと思っていました。
  
  他では見かけない英語の4トラベル、きっと世界中の人たちが見てくれるでしょう♪

  温かいコメントをありがとうございます☺
  おっしゃる通り、時速15キロ辺りがちょうど良いですね。普段サイクリングをしないのとまぁ初めての土地で土地勘が全くないので、ペース配分が分かりませんでした。また、旅の後半にニースの近くで下山(登山はバスで)したのですが、45分と観光協会の方に言われたところ、自分は1時間半かかりました。でもその時は時間制限がなくとっても楽しめました。
  
  英語にしたのはまさしく英語を使うひとたちに見せているのと、たまに旅行記に出てくる宿や店のオーナーに送るからです。でも最近は翻訳機能も盛んなので日本語でも大体いいかもしれませんが、やっぱり細かなニュアンスは機械の翻訳では現段階では限りもありますよね。
  
  ただ違う言葉をはなしても、あの鳥がかわいいとか、あの川がキラキラしているとか、感覚で通じることってたくさんありますよね。
