初フランス　アルザス ストラスブール3日目　お城と出会いとサイクリング　Day 3　Strasbourg

シャルルドゴールCDG空港ターミナル2併設のTGV駅から直接TGVに乗り、アルザス地方に向かいました。リクヴィール2泊、テュルクハイム2泊、ストラスブール3泊、最後にパリ3泊です。初フランスでアルザス一週間とは地元の方にも驚かれましたが、フォートラの皆さんの言われるように、とても素晴らしいところでした。

この日はストラスブールから約60キロ弱南西方面にあるオークニスブール城Château du Haut-Koenigsbourgへ朝電車とバスで行き、午後はストラスブールに戻りレンタサイクルで約7〜8キロ離れたWolfisheimという人口４千人に行かない村まで行き帰ってきました。

お城に行くときに日本人二人の方と出会いました。そしてサイクリングではポニーに乗った天使のような少女に出会いました。

I took a TGV (Train de Grande Vitesse) at CDG Airport terminal 2 station and arrived in Alsace directly, not going through center Paris. Riquewihr 2 nights, Turckheim 2 nights, Strasbourg 3 nights and Paris 3 nights. Even Alsacians were surprised to know my itinerary - a week in Alsace and three days in Paris - for someone who had never been to France before. As many travelers on this 4 travel site have mentioned, Alsace is indeed a splendid place.

In the morning, I went to a castle called Château de Haut-Koenigsbourg which was located about 60km South West from Strasbourg. On the way to the Castle I met two　Japanese ladies who were also traveling in France. We exchanged greetings and traveled together.

In the afternoon I rented a bike in Strasbourg, exploring around and arrived at a tiny village called Wolfisheim which was located about 7 to 8 km West of Strasbourg. 　On the way to back to Strasbourg while cycling, I saw an angel-like girl who was riding on her pony.

おはようございます。ストラスブール中央駅の切符売場でセレスタまで往復切符購入。アルザスのTER普通列車の券は発売から2ヶ月有効な為列車に乗る前に刻印が必要です。セレスタまで15分位なのに運賃高し。この後500番のシャトルバスに乗り約30分。バスは往復で買えて4ユーロです。お城入口でバス券を見せると入場料が8から6ユーロになるのでとっておいて下さい。

シャトルバス乗り場で大阪からの女性二人にお会いしました。バス内でも色々お話していました。

Good morning. I arrived at Strasbourg Central station by tram and bought a round train ticket between Sélestat and Strasbourg. Alsace TER (local trains) are valid for 2 months from the issue date, so you need to validate your ticket at a punching machine before taking a train. The ticket (Strasbourg - Sélestat) was so expensive for the short ride about 15min. From Selestat, a shuttle bus#500 was running and it took about 30min to get to the castle. For the shuttle bus too, I bought a round ticket (4 euros). You should keep the bus ticket because you can get a 2 euros discount when entering the castle.

I bumped into the ladies from Osaka. We were chatting in the bus.

お二人はこの後コルマールに戻りストラスブールに移動です。私は今晩ビストロを予約してあるので夕食にお誘いしましたが、この後の予定の時間が読めないので、お互いの健闘を祈りあいここで別れました。

The ladies will go back to Colmar, then move to Strasbourg. I have asked them to go for dinner with me in Strasbourg but they turned it down. So we wished each other the best and parted.

オーストリアの田舎やお城では角やら鹿の顔やら狩をした動物が至るところに飾ってありましたが、やはりそうなのですね。

Animal trophey on the wall reminds me of Austria where there were so many hunted animals like this hanged on the walls as well.

Because of the fog, I couldn't see the Black Forest in Germany and Rhine River from here.

暗いけど皆さんが撮すベストショットスポットで私もパチリ。

This angle should be one of the best photo shot spots in this castle although the sky is so dark.

ストラスブールに戻って来ました。ストラスブール観光パスに含まれている半日レンタサイクルをしよう！　ヴェルホップという会社の駐輪場に行きパスの半券を出すとともに、万が一の自転車喪失・損傷などの代金として150ユーロをクレカに仮請求されます。返却時に何もなければその150ユーロ請求中止を意味するabandoné（無効）と印刷されたレシートをくれるのでそれは保管しましょう。ロックは折りたたみ式の黒いもので、それを広げて鍵をかけられるようになっています。鍵をかけるとありますが、鉄の棒や動かないものなどにロックをくくりつけるやり方です。何が良かったかというと、このベルホップという会社は有人と無人の駐輪場がストラスブール市内数箇所あり、私が行った有人の駐輪所(3 rue d'Or)では私のために自転車を選んでくれてサドルの高さやタイヤの確認や説明をさっとしてくれました。

I am back in Strasbourg. I am renting a bike for a half day. This is included in the Strasbourg sightseeing pass, so you can rent from two shops, one of which is called Vélhop. What I like about my location (3 rue d'Or) is that the staff take care of payment, choose a bike for me with the proper height of the suddle and brakes,and explain the usage of bike. They need your credit card in case of lost, stolen or damage. They will preauthorize for 150 euros and will give you a void receipt when you return the bike safely.

自転車道が消えて車道と急に一緒になったり、部分的にあやふやで、ストラスブール中心地は私には少し大変でした。信号待ちしてたら地元の人になんとかクリニックの場所知ってますか、って聞かれました。私のほうです、道聞きたいの。(-.-;)　川沿いのサイクリングロードを見つけ、こんな地図かありました。結果論ですが私はここから川沿いを走り西へ西へと行きました。

It is a bit stressful to bike in the city since some roads are dedicated to cyclists but disappear in the middle of way. One lady asks me :"do you know the Clinic XXX?" It is me who wants to ask my whereabouts. I have found a cycling path along the river. I have taken a direction to go west without thinking.

どこに行こうかな？ Where am I going to?

ずんずん進んで行ったところ、少しサイクリングロードを抜けたところで見た橋です。もうストラスブール郊外です。

Following the river cycling road and I see a bridge just above me. It is already suburb of Strasbourg.

ストラスブールから五キロ離れたようです。

It is 5km away from Strasbourg.

アルザス電車が見えます

左手にとうもろこし畑、右に小川、そして美しい木の下を走り続けます。カモに餌をやっている方もいました。

I see the corn field on my left and a stream on my right. I am cycling under the beautiful tall trees. There was a lady who was feeding geese.

ここからさらに20キロ遠くに行くのは自信がないなぁ。だって午後6時の返却時間までにストラスブールに帰ってこないといけないですからね。

I am not so confident to go 20km further from here. I need to return the bike by 6pm.

最寄りだったWolfisheimという表示に従い、住宅地に入ってきました。中心地、役場という表示に従います。

I followed the sign of "Wolfisheim" and am now in the village. I turned right to go to centre / town hall.

住宅地の村としてはものすごい花の飾りです。村役場です。

I am impressed how the flowers are all over in this tiny residential village!

学校. school.

この村にはカフェが無い為コーヒーを飲むのに勧められたレストランです。最初にきちんとコーヒーだけですと断りました。小さな村ならではですよね。

They are OK for me to take only a cup of coffee since there is no café in this village. You can't expect to do this in the big cities.

レストランの方に私の持っている地図を広げて現在地を聞くとこの村は私の地図には掲載されいていないけれどストラスブールから西に来たということはよくわかりました。ご丁寧に復路まで教えていただきました。

I ask a restaurant owner my whereabouts but this town is not even on my map! I understand now that I have come to west from Strasbourg. She even tells me how to go back to the bike path.

さて来た道をそのまま通り帰っている途中、往路では見なかった光景にであいました。女の子がポニー（ですよね？）に乗ってどうやら調教しているのです。女の子は一生懸命ポニーに話しかけています。

On the way to back to Strasbourg, I come across a scene that I haven't seen. A girl is training her pony. She is talking to her pony passionately.

並足でいたと思ったら走りだしたりしています。右手にはとうもろこし畑が広がっています。

The pony walks and runs, walks and runs.. On the right hand, there is a corn field.

天使のように可愛い彼女と美しい馬にみとれて3周くらいするのを見ていました。私のサイクリングロードからかなり離れていますが「Bonjouuurrrr!」と少し大きな声で言うと彼女は「Bonjour!」と笑顔でこちらを見てくれました。そして私の前を通るたびにはにかみながら少しスローダウンしてくれるのです。夢のような光景で、この旅のハイライトの一つになりました。

I am so stunned by the angel looking like girl and her beautiful pony. From my bike road, there is a bit of distance. But I scream "Bonjooooouuur!" then she smiles at me and says "Bonjour!"to me. When they come close to me, they slow down (for me?). The girl seems to beshy. It is like a dream and it is definitely one of my trip's highlights.

とうもろこし！　 Corns!

問題はサイクリングロードからおりてストラスブール市内に着いた時に起こりました。駅周辺か市街地がという看板があり、「駅周辺も走ってみないとな、行っていないから」と駅方面へ行く道をとりました。段々雰囲気が怪しくなってきて、しまいには落書きだらけの一帯に出ました。そしてドラム缶のトンネルのようなところを越えるとそこは……荒廃した一角でした。廃棄されているのかいないのかわからないキャンピングカーが数台とまっていて、地べたに数十人の若い人たちが座り込んでいて、木々にロープと洗濯物がかかっています。その中の一人の青年が私に向かって歩いてきます。心の中の冷や汗とは真逆に「Bonjour!」と天使のような大きい声と笑顔が自分から出たのには驚きました。そうしたら彼は「Bonjour madame！」と超こわい顔だけれど丁寧に言ってくれました。全速力でその間も自転車を漕ぎ続け、どこをどう行ったのか中央駅近くから真逆のストラスブールの目的地の反対側に行ってしまいました。

My cycling is not over yet. As I am going back, I see a sign of Strasbourg Central Station. I tell myself to go through the area since I haven't really explored. Eventually I pass a rundown area and come out in the area with lots of graffiti. Then when I go through in the little tunnel with lots of graffiti on it......I come out the sketchiest area I have see in this trip. Abandoned looking like camping cars, some clothes hanging in the loop between trees, some young people sitting on the ground... OMG! I shouldn't be here! Then one of the guys is approaching me. I am not slowing down my bike. I say to him "Bonjour!" with an angel like smile and voice. Then he says with his scary face and low voice "Bonjour mademe!" I am pedalling the fastest I can to get out from this area. Somehow I manage to be out but am lost.

市街地に入ったものの大聖堂の方面に向かうものの一向にあのとんがり屋根が見えてこない。歩いていた男性に自分の位置と大聖堂に向かいたい旨を伝えると、私は今REPUBLICの近くにいてほぼ大聖堂やホテルとは街を斜めに横切るくらい反対方向にいることがわかりました。それからものすごい混んでいるブランド店が並ぶ通りを進んで大聖堂到着。大聖堂横の広場は車が通ってこないから安心して思わずベンチで休憩。

I asks direction from a gentleman and he tells me that I am at Républic. This is opposite from where I want to go. I come through the busy car and pedestrians streets and am finally a car free Cathedral square area. I am so relieved and I take a rest on the bench.

朝お会いした二人にイル川クルーズをおすすめしたけれど、「乗れたかな？」と思いつつ自転車を返却しに向かいます。3時間も乗ったので満足です。舟が何艘かとまっています。すると、お二人がちょうど乗り場の横にいるのを発見。私は高台にいるし彼女たちは川べりだからすごい距離だけれど何とか大声を出し再会を喜びました。無事コルマールから移動し今クルーズが終わったばかりということ。そして夕食を一緒にできるかということだったので、勿論！自転車を返却しに行き、私のホテルのレセプションの方に予約人数追加の電話をしてもらいました。

I am satisfied with my three hours of cycling. As I am passing by the cruise spots, the two Osaka ladies crossed in my mind. I recommended them to take a cruise in Strasbourg. Then I see two ladies just beside one of the boats. It is them! I am at the street higher level and they are at the river lower level. I scream hard so they fi ally notice me. They have come off from the boat and ask if they could dinner with me. Sure! After returning my bike, I ask a hotel receptionist to call the bistrot for the additional people. Everything is perfect!

おととい来たビストロだからサーバーの方と再会を喜びあいました。

前菜一つ目は（一昨日も食べた）仔ウサギのタルタルみたいなもの6.5ユーロです。左手奥のがそうです。もう一つの前菜はギリシャ風サラダ。フェタチーズ、トマト、きゅうり、パプリカ、ねぎ、マスカット、オリーブ、クレソン、ハーブ入りです。ドレッシングもフルーティーなオリーブオイルと淡いシトラス風味で絶対手作りです。皆こんなにおいしくて繊細なサラダに驚愕してしまいました。

I am so happy to be back here and see the server again!

The first appetizer is the same as I had two days ago and the second appetizer is Greek salad. Feta cheese, tomato, cucumbers, bell peppers, scallions, grapes, olives, cress and herbs. The vinaigrette should be home made with a gentle touch of citrus. So great!

Le Bistrot Des Arts フレンチ

お友達Aさんのメイン、ウサギのモモ肉ローストです。フランス料理のVeloutéソースか? ただのクリーム煮ではありません。重そうにみえますがいい意味でとても軽いソースでビックリしました。ウサギのモモ肉はとても柔らか。

A friend's main plate is rabbit thigh with velouté sauce. The sauce looks heavy but it is light and flavourful. The rabbit is so tender.

お友達Bさんのメインです。牛肉のコンフィです。マカロニが敷き詰められています。トマトソースもさっぱりしていて牛肉のストレートな味がおいしいです。

The other friend's main is the beef confit with macaroni tomato sauce. The sauce is delight too. The beef flavor is so straightforward and great.

私のメインは本日のお魚。市場の魚の仕入れ状況によるのでおとといと違う魚。ラタトゥユがその下にありまたまた美味！同じビストロで同じ料理。よほどのお気に入りです。

デザートは入らないという意見の一致。三人で90ユーロで大満足でした。（アルザスワインのムスカをグラス2杯、ミネラルウォーター1本、前菜二皿、メイン三皿、紅茶二人分、カフェオレ一人分）　チップも強要しない素晴らしいサービスにチップです。


My main plate is today's fish. Their fish depends on the market availability. Great ratatouille underneath of fish. I love this bistrot, don't I?

Everyone is so satisfied and doesn't have space for the desert. 90 euros for three of us (2 glasses of Alsace muscat wine, 1 bottle of mineral water, 2 appetizers, 3 main plates, 2 tea, and 1 café au lait). For sure, we are leaving tips for the great service.

約2時間50分のビストロ滞在を楽しみ、そこから10時15分開始の大聖堂のイルミネーションショーに向かいました。

We enjoyed almost three hours of our dinner experience. We are walking toward the Cathedral for the illumination show (that I went two days ago too).

イルミネーションショーはあいにくテクニカルプロブレムで中止になってしまいました。何回も何回も主催者の方がやっているのですが、音が全くでないしマッピングが部分的に欠けています。辛抱強く何回も試みていました。それでも観客の皆さんは拍手なさっていました。無料のショーですものね。友人AさんとBさんは明日ドイツへ、私はパリへ移動です。

Unfortunately they had to cancel the illumination show due to technical issues tonight. No sound effects and no perfect imaging. They tried multiple times to see but failed. People were still grateful and applouding for the city's effort. The event was free of charge. Tomorrow the ladies are heading to Germany and I am heading to Paris.

  お返事書くより先に見にきてしまいました。
  
  私は去年の夏アルザスに行きました。
  オークニクスブールにも行きました。
  アルザスに行ってもここまで行く人はあまりいないせいか4トラの旅行記も少ないので懐かしく拝見しました。
  あまりに可愛すぎる村ばかり見るのも飽きるし、息子の薦めもあってオークニクスブールに行きました。
  
  サイクリングもされたようで素敵ですね。
  天使のような少女もアルザスからのプレゼントのよう〜
  
  ストラスブールでは1泊したのですが夜眠くなってしまったので大聖堂の光のショーは見ませんでした。
  dankeさんは装置の事故で見られなかったのですね。
  私は今年はルーアンで、dankeさんは来年ルーアンで再挑戦ですね!
  
  パリの植物園は植物学者で博物学者のビュフォンさんをちょっと調べていたので今年また行ってみました。ビュフォン氏の像もしっかり写してきました。

  オークニクスブール城は私のいった時は思ったよりも日本人の方が多かったのです！お城に入るときにチケット出したらarigatou gozaimasu!って言われて日本人慣れしているんだなぁ、と思いました。ただ私とセレスタのバス停で知り合った大阪からのお二人以外JTBツアーの方達でしたが、みなさん楽しそうにされていました。私が興味を惹かれたのは実際の戦いの場であったこと、そしてドイツとフランスの昔と今が垣間見れるのかなあと思ったこと、そしてあちらからの景観を目にしたいこと、でした。息子さんがおすすめされたのもわかる気がします。

  ももまんがあまんさんの一日あたりの10分の一の距離で荷物なしですが、はい、サイクリング楽しみました☆　風を直に受けるあの心地は今でも夢に見るほどです。
  
  私ストラスブール3泊もしたのです。最初の晩にプロジェクトマッピングを見られたのです。でも翌々日にそのセレスタバス停で偶然お会いした大阪二人の方たちにもストラスブールのあのショーをみてほしいというおもいで私は2回目に行きました。そこで機材の不具合のため中止。私は1回見られたから良かったのですが…　でもそのお二方含め、観客の皆さん温かい拍手をショーがキャンセルされたのに送るのですね、それを見まして「フランスっていいなぁ」と思いました。無料で行われるショーですから主催者に感謝しますという態度に感激しました。

  フランス語は汗をかきつつ話します。フランス語の学校で私が余りにpourquoiで始まる質問を繰り返すので先生にしまいには私が質問する前に il n'y a pas de "pourquoi" dans ce cas! と言われたのを覚えています。ウザい生徒でしたが仕方ないんですね、私達ラテン言語ルーツでない者たちにサラッと説明してもわからないこともあるのですしね^_^
  
  名前はドイツ語を話してみたいという願望からです。本当にありがとう、やぁ、お願いします、しか言えないですが、来年はドイツ語勉強したいなぁ、と思っております。
