Regal Princess が碇泊している場所が客室のディスプレイに表示されていた
クルーズの発着ターミナル

シャトルバスが無いので、ホテルからスーツケースを曳いて歩いて行った Ocean Cruise Terminal (Berth 46)

オーシャン クルーズ ターミナル バース 46 船系

Ocean Cruise Terminal (Berth 46)内では、荷物を預け乗船手続きを終えた Regal Princess 乗船客が、保安検査待ちをしていた

保安検査を終え、スロープ状のギャングウェイを歩いて乗船した。
早速、エレベータで 客室のある Deck まで上がった

Deck前方に続く長い廊下を歩いた

Junior Sweet 客室の玄関を開けて中に入った

右側はクローク、奥は観音開きの戸棚になっていて、金庫(セーフティボックス)が入っている。左側はクローゼットで棚の上には救命胴衣が置いてあった

右側の扉を開けると、Buth Room
バスタブに入りたかったのでJunior Sweetの客室を選んだ

客室 玄関の内側
ホテルの客室で電源を入れるのと同じで、以前使用されていた乗船カードが左側のカード受けに差し込まれてままになっていた。

荷物を置いて早速、Lido Deck 16 のHorizon Court(Bufe Restaurant) で食事をした。スーツケースやデイバッグを背負ってコート内を歩く乗客(まだ、部屋の準備が出来ていない)も多く見掛けた。
その後、船内を散策をした

部屋に戻って、荷物の整理をしながら、無料シャンペンを頼んで

奥に見えるのは持ち込んだシャンペン(一人1本まで部屋で飲む分は無料)

気が付くと、船内新聞PATTERが届けられていた

以前に乗ったクルーズ船との大きな違いは、避難訓練が一斉には行われない事だった。
船内新聞を見ると、客室内のディスプレイで視聴後、スタッフにチェックしてもらえば完了だった。

Welcome onboard the beautiful Regal Princess, we hope you have an excellent time ahead while cruising with us. We would like to share some essential information for the upcoming port requirements in Ireland.
Irish immigration department mandates to Regal Princess to present all Non-European Union guest's
Passports upon arrival in Cobh (Cork), Ireland, on 5th July 2024.
To make this process smooth for all our guests, your stateroom steward will collect your Passport between 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 5:00 p.m. on 2nd July 2024, in Southampton.
On 8th July 2024 (At Sea) between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. your Passport will be delivered directly to your stateroom by your stateroom steward, who will hand it to you personally.
NOTE: Guests scheduled to disembark in Le Havre on 13th July 2024 will be able to collect their passports in Le Havre on 13th July 2024 at the Guest Services desk once they are stamped by the French immigration officer. Further instructions will follow in a letter close to our call to Le Havre.

ベランダからその様子を見ていると、桟橋が見えて来て、何かが動いているのが見えた

Back of the ship is known as the "AFT", front is "Forward", and the middle is "Midship".
When facing forward, the left side of the ship is known as the "Port" side and the right is known as the "Starboard" side.
Staterooms on the Port side are even numbers and those on the Starboard side are odd numbers.
All elevators onboard with the exception of the two panoramic lifts on the midship face forward.
When you exit the elevator, you're facing forward.
