紅葉が色づきはじめた京都を日帰りお散歩旅。妙心寺退蔵院と泉涌寺を拝観、泉涌寺七福神の満願達成！　京都駅の周辺とは思えない静かな環境で紅葉を堪能、心洗われる一日となりました。
泉涌寺は、アクセスしやすいところにあるのもかかわらず、自然豊かで静かな紅葉スポットであると同時に、楊貴妃観音像、走り大黒天様、泉山融通辨財天様といったユニークで力強いお像を拝観できる隠れた観光名所です。

西は上郡、東は敦賀まで１日間乗り放題で1000円の超お得切符、関西近郊『プラス』乗り放題きっぷを利用しました。このきっぷはネット予約だけで受け付けています。新型コロナウイルスを受けて、ＪＲ様もネット決済に本腰を上げてきている印象を受けました。

A day trip to Kyoto as the autumn leaves begin to change color. Visited Myoshin-ji Taizo-in and Sennyu-ji temple, completing the pilgrimage to the Seven Lucky Gods of Sennyu-ji! Enjoying the autumn leaves in a tranquil environment that is hard to believe is so close to Kyoto Station, it was a truly refreshing day.
Despite its easy accessibliliy, Sennyu-ji Temple is a hidden gem. It offers not only a tranquil autumn leaf viewing surrounded by abundant nature, but also the chance to admire unique and powerful statues such as the Yang Guifei Kannon statue, the Running Daikokuten statue, and the Senzan Yuzu Benzaiten statue.
I used the Kansai Area 'Plus' Unlimited Ride Ticket, an excellent deal at 1,000 yen. This ticket allows unlimited rides for one day from Kamigori in the west to Tsuruga in the east and is only available for online reservation. It gave me the impression that JR is seriously promoting online payments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

今回妙心寺に来たのは、退蔵院にある庭園の紅葉を見たいと思ったからです。

石、草木、それぞれの命が輝いています。本当に素敵なお庭だなあと思います。
椅子に腰かけてしばしの瞑想時間をすごしました。
庭園入口にはしだれ桜があり、春に満開になれば、素晴らしい景色を見ることができそうです。

The stones and plants, each vibrant with life, are truly beautiful. I think it's a really lovely garden.
I sat in a chair and spent some time meditating.
There is a weeping cherry tree at the garden entrance, and it must be a magnificent sight, when it is in full bloom in the spring.

退蔵院 寺・神社・教会

花園駅からJR嵯峨野線に乗り、京都駅でJR奈良線に乗り換えて東福寺駅で下車。大黒ラーメン様でランチです。
京都駅、東福寺駅、どちらも若い人でいっぱいで嬉しい気分になりました。平日昼間のスーパーに行くとゾンビの国に紛れ込んだかと思うほど少子高齢化が急速に進むこの国で、若い人がたくさんいるエリアはとても貴重です。

I traveled by the JR Sagano Line from Hanazono Station, transferred to the JR Nara Line at Kyoto Station, and got off at Tofukuji Station. I had lunch at Daikoku Ramen.
I was pleased to see that both Kyoto Station and Tofukuji Station were packed with young people. In this country, where the declining birthrate and aging population are progressing so rapidly that going to a supermarket on a weekday afternoon feels like stepping into a zombie apocalypse, areas with lots of young people are truly precious.

大黒ラーメン 東福寺店 グルメ・レストラン

かつて近くに住んでいた人がおススメするこの店。ラーメン（並）530円（税込）。安い。トンコツとしょうゆのあっさり味です。

This restaurant is recommended by someone who used to live nearby. A regular bowl of ramen is 530 yen (tax included). It's cheap. It has a pork bone and soy sauce broth.

ランチの後、徒歩で泉涌寺様へ。泉涌寺は雰囲気がよかったので、ゆっくり散策しているうちに、夕方になっていました。

After lunch, we walked to Sennyu-ji Temple. Sennyu-ji Temple had such a pleasant atmosphere that we spent a long time strolling around until evening.

七福神めぐりの色紙は本坊で授与されます（色紙2000円＋御朱印各300円）。

各寺院であらかじめ押印済みの色紙もありますが、白紙の色紙を購入して各寺院で押印してもらうこともできます。時間に制約がある場合は、押印済みの色紙を購入するのが賢明かと思います。色紙を入れる用の袋も配布してくださいます。持参したバッグが色紙を入れるのに適してないことも多いので、大変ありがたいお心遣いです。

本坊内では月輪未生流の献花会が開催されていました。お寺と生け花のコラボ、素敵な組み合わせです。

The commemorative paper for the Seven Lucky Gods pilgrimage was available at the main temple (2000 yen for the paper + 300 yen for each stamp).
While some temples offer pre-stamped shikishi (decorative paper boards), you can also purchase blank shikishi and have them stamped at each temple. If you are short on time, purchasimg pre-stamped shikishi is probably wiser. They also provide bags for carrying the shikishi, which is a very thoughtful touch as the bags visitors bring are sometimes not suitable for carrying it.
A flower offering ceremony by the Tsukinowa Misho-ryu school was being held inside the main temple building. The combination of a temple and flower arrangement was wonderful.

御寺泉涌寺 寺・神社・教会

出展されている作品は、色彩豊かで、それぞれ個性を放っています。生け花を見るたびに、花は人のことが大好きだと語りかけてくるように思います。そんな声なき声に耳を傾けると活きる勇気が湧き出てきます。
仏の心と花の心が響き合う空間、極楽浄土にはこんな景色が広がっているのではないでしょうか。

The exhibited works were vibrant in color and each exudes its own unique character. Every time I look at a flower arrangement, I feel as if the flowers express silent love for people, giving me the courage to live.
I felt like a glimpse of the Pure Land, a space where the heart of Buddha and the spirit of flowers resonate with each other.

御寺泉涌寺 寺・神社・教会

（番外）総本山泉涌寺・楊貴妃観音
世界三大美人の一人、楊貴妃観音の仏像を拝観できます。楊貴妃が仏像になっているというよりは、中国から持ち込まれた観音様が美しいため、いつしか楊貴妃観音と呼ばれるようになったようです。
楊貴妃観音像にはきれいになる功徳があるとされ、美人祈願に訪れる女性が後を絶ちません。身体の老化は遅らせることはできても止めることはできませんが、心は年を取るごとにより一層キレイにしたいものです。

(Extra) Sennyu-ji Temple, the head temple - Yang Guifei Kannon
You can see a statue of Yang Guifei, one of the world's three most beautiful women. Rather than Yang Guifei herself being depicted in the statue, it seems that the statue of Kannon brought from China was so beautiful that it came to be called Yang Guifei Kannon.
The statue of Yang Guifei Kannon is believed to have the power to make one beautiful, and a constant stream of women visit to pray for beauty. While we can slow down the aging of the body, we cannot stop it, but we want to make our hearts even more beautiful as we get older.

泉涌寺 楊貴妃観音堂 名所・史跡

（五番）雲龍院・大黒天
財宝を持って走る「走り大黒天」が有名なお寺です。財宝の入った袋を持った大黒天様が参拝者のすぐそばまで走ってきて、今まさに財運を授けてくれようとしているくらいの迫力のある大黒天様です。
走り大黒天様の前には、「一歩ふみだす大黒さまは開運成就の福の神」とあります。走り大黒天様のことを見事に表現した簡潔簡明な言葉です。

大黒天おみくじを引くと、なんと「大吉」。かなり気分が高揚する一方、置いてあるおみくじ全部が大吉なんじゃないかと思いました。が、入口でおみくじを見ながらなにやら話をしている男女の雰囲気からしておみくじ全部が大吉というわけではなさそうです。

おみくじに書かれていたお歌は、とてもストレートに財運を歌ったもので、こんなにストレートな財運の歌は見たことがありません。とっても縁起がいいのと珍しいのでここで引用させていただきます。

色紙にスタンプを頂いた際「大黒天数え歌」をいただきました。数え歌の中で「握った宝袋を大切に」が特に心に残りました。転職するにせよ、独立するにせよ、今の稼ぎ口を確保して、行動を起こすことが大事だということを教えてくださっているように思います。

写真撮影が制限されているため、大黒天様の写真がないのが残念です。写真は雲龍院境内中庭です。木から発せられるエネルギーを感じます。

雲龍院は西国薬師霊場第四十番札所でもあります。

(Number 5) Unryu-in Temple, Daikokuten
This temple is famous for its "Running Daikokuten," who runs while carrying treasure. The statue of Daikokuten, carrying a bag full of treasure, runs right up to the worshippers, creating an impressive sight as if he is about to grant good fortune upon them.
In front of the Running Daikokuten statue, there is a sign that reads, "Daikokuten taking a step forward is the god of good fortune and success." These are simple and concise words that beautifully describe the Running Daikokuten.
I drew a fortune slip and it said "Great Luck." I was quite excited, but I also wondered if all the fortune slips said the same. However, judging from the atmosphere of a man and woman talking while looking at the fortune slips at the entrance, it seemed that not all of them were "Great Luck."
The poem written on the fortune slip was a very straightforward song about financial fortune, and I've never seen such a direct song about wealth before. It's very auspicious and unusual, so I'd like to quote it here.
The rewards for hard work are already indicated, andabundant gold waves are near to the village of Oyamada.
When I received a stamp on a shikishi (decorative paper board), I was also given the "Daikokuten Counting Song." Of the counting songs, the line "Take good care of the treasure bag you hold now" especially resonated with me. I feel like it's teaching me that whether I change jobs or start my own business, it's important to secure my current source of income and take action.
Unfortunately, I don't have photoes of Daikokuten because photography was restricted. The photo is of the courtyard within the grounds of Unryu-in Temple. I can feel the energy emanating from the trees.
Unryuin Temple is also the 40th temple on the Saigoku Yakushi Pilgrimage.

（四番）来迎院・布袋尊
雲龍院から本坊を経由して、来迎院へ。弘法大師の創立とされます。四国八十八ヶ所、高野山、弘法大師様はいろんなところでいろんな寺を創建されています。その影響力は驚異的です。

(Number 4) Raigoin Temple, Hotei
From Unryuin Temple, we went via the main temple building to Raigoin Temple. It is said to have been founded by Kobo Daishi Kukai. Kobo Daishi established many temples in many places, including the 88 temples of Shikoku and Mount Koya. His influence is astonishing.

来迎院 (東山区) 寺・神社・教会

（三番）観音寺・恵比須神
泉涌寺の中で一番参拝者が多いお寺だと思います。今熊野観音寺は、西国三十三番霊場の第十五番札所でもあります。ここの紅葉は結構色づいていました。観音様は秘仏で直接拝することはかないませんが、観音様とつながる紐を握ることができ、観音様との御縁をいただくことができます。

(Number 3) Kannonji Temple, Ebisu
I think this is the temple with the most visitors within Sennyu-ji Temple. Imakumano Kannon-ji Temple is also the 15th temple on the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage of 33 temples. The autumn leaves here were especially colorful. The Kannon statue is a hidden Buddha and cannot be seen directly, but you can hold a string connected to the statue and receive a connection with the Kannon.

今熊野観音寺 寺・神社・教会

（番外）新善光寺・愛染明王
名前の如く、長野市にある善光寺に行くのが大変だろうと後嵯峨天皇が開いたとされるお寺です。

(Extra) Shin-Zenkoji Temple, Aizen Myoo
As the name suggests, this temple is said to have been founded by Emperor Go-Saga because he thought it would be difficult for people to travel to Zenkoji Temple in Nagano City.

新善光寺 寺・神社・教会

愛染堂にいらっしゃる愛染明王様です。愛染明王は大日如来の化身であり、忿怒のお顔をされていますが、男女の愛を前提とした仏様でおおらかなものを感じます。

This is Aizen Myoo, enshrined in the Aizen-do Hall. Aizen Myoo is an incarnation of Dainichi Nyorai and has a wrathful face, but as a Buddha who presupposes love between men and women, one can feel a sense of magnanimity.

（第六番）悲田院・毘沙門天
新善光寺から少し離れた、小中一貫校の隣の道を進んだところにあります。

悲田院でもう既に午後3時３０分、御朱印受付がもしかして午後４時までだといけないので、少し急ぎ気味に回ります。

(Number 6) Hiden-in Temple, Bishamonten
It's located a short distance from Shin-Zenkoji Temple, down the road next to the integrated elementary and junior high school.
It's already 3:30 PM at Hiden-in Temple, and I'm worried that the Goshuin (temple stamp) reception might close at 4:00 PM, so I hurried through things a bit.

悲田院 寺・神社・教会

悲田院から見える京都市内の眺めです。京都市内の遠景を見ることができる数少ない場所です。

新型コロナウイルスの飲み薬が普及して、カゼやインフルエンザ程度の脅威になって、自由に海外を旅行できる日が来ること、早からんことを心から願うばかりです。外国人観光客が極端に少ない京都にて。

This is the view of Kyoto city from Hiden-in Temple. It is one of the few places where you can see a distant view of Kyoto city.
I sincerely hope that oral medications for COVID-19 become widely available soon, reducing the threat to the level of a common cold or the flu, and that the day will soon come when we can travel abroad freely again. I wrote this while in Kyoto, where there are very few foreign tourists.

悲田院 寺・神社・教会

（二番）戒光寺・弁財天
最澄作と伝えられる泉山融通辨財天様が特別公開中でした(2021年11月1日～14日）。
手が８本ある珍しい辨財天様で、とても強い迫力を感じました。お金の融通をつけてくださるご利益があるとのことです。力の籠った仏様です。
泉山融通辨財天様は、秘仏で毎月18日の弁財天御縁日に限り公開されているようです。

(Second) Kaikoji Temple, Benzaiten
The Senzan Yūzū Benzaiten statue, said to have been created by Saichō, was on special display (November 1st to 14th, 2021).
This is a rare Benzaiten statue with eight arms, and I felt a very powerful presence from it. It is said to grant blessings for financial prosperity. It is a Buddha statue imbued with great energy.
Senzan Yuzu Benzaiten is a hidden Buddha statue and is apparently only displayed on the 18th of each month, which is Benzaiten's special day.

（七番）法音院・寿老人
戒光寺のすぐ近くにあります。御本尊は不空羂索観世音菩薩、一人も落とすことなくお救いくださる観音様です。

(Seventh) Hoonin Temple, Jurojin
It is located very close to Kaikoji Temple. Its principal image is the Fukuu Kensaku Kannon Bodhisattva, a Kannon who saves everyone without leaving anyone behind.

（一番）即成院・福禄寿
泉涌寺の入り口に一番近くにあるのが即成院です。七福神満願ももう目の前です。
お堂に入ると予約した団体が御祈祷を受けられているところでした。
２名の僧侶が仏具を叩いて拍子を取りながら、大音声で「オンコロコロ・・・」の真言を大音声で唱えておられ、かなりの迫力でした。なかなか遭遇できない場面です。
売店には『地球の歩き方・御朱印』なる本が置かれていました。即成院は珍しい御朱印をいただけると紹介されています。御朱印に特化した『地球の歩き方』が出版されているとは軽い驚きです。若い人たちが参拝記念に御朱印を収集しているようです。もしかすると先の読めない不安な世相の中、何か安心できるものを求めているのかもしれません。きっと、いいことあると思います。

御朱印受付は、どこも午後５時くらいまでされているようです。

(Ichiban) Jiseiin, Fukurokuju
Senokujoin Temple is the closest to the entrance of Sennyu-ji Temple. You're almost at the end of your Seven Lucky Gods pilgrimage.
Upon entering the hall, we encountered a group that had made a reserved prayer.
Two monks struck Buddhist instruments to keep time while loudly chanting the mantra "Om Korokoro..." It was an impressive sight. It's a scene you don't often encounter.
The shop had a book called "The Global Trotter to Goshuin (Temple/Shrine Stamps)." It introduced Sokujoin Temple as a place to obtain a rare Goshuin. I was mildly surprised to learn that a "The Global trotter" specifically focused on Goshuin has been published. It seems that young people are collecting Goshuin as souvenirs of their visits. Perhaps in these uncertain times, they are seeking something to comfort them. I'm sure something good will come of it.
It seems that most temples and shrines accept requests for Goshuin (Temple/Shrine stamps) until around 5 PM.

即成院 寺・神社・教会

源平の合戦で有名な那須与一の墓です。即成院に那須与一の墓があるとは知りませんでした。那須与一の的中率にあやかりたいと思います。

This is the grave of Nasu No Yoichi, famous for his role in the Genpei War. I didn't know that Nasu No Yoichi's grave was located at Sokujoin Temple. I hope to benefit from Nasu No Yoichi's accuracy.
