6月12日-7月9日の25泊27日、南イタリアへ行きました♪
観光・グルメ・海水浴をたっぷりと楽しんできました♪
☆Vol.538：第19日目（7月1日）ヴァストVasto（キエーティ県）♪
ヴァストはアドリア海岸から断崖上に広がる町。
旧市街への入り口に当たる「Piazza Gabriele Rossetti」→ヴァスト城「Castello Caldoresco」→「Piazza Barbacani」→「Piazza L.V.Pudente」→「Via Vescovado」→「Piazza Caprioli」→「Chiesa di Maria Santissima del Carmine」→「Via Barbarotta」→「Via Adriatica」→ヴァスト宮殿「Palazzo D'Avalos」→ヴァスト大聖堂「Cattedrale di San Giuseppe」。
ヴァスト大聖堂「Cattedrale di San Giuseppe」を鑑賞したら、
大聖堂前の広場「Piazza L.V.Pudente」から「Corso de Parma」を進み、
左へ曲がり「Via Santa Maria」を歩く。
背の高い中世時代の建物が並ぶ。
中世時代の面影が良く残っている。
進むと教会が見えてくる。
「Chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore」。
1785年に造られたものでネオクラシック様式。
カンパニーレの横に小さなファサード。
門を抜けると広い空間。
ヴァスト大聖堂よりも広く、
窓が多く明るい。
天井や壁に美しいデザインで施されている。
祭壇の上はクーポラ。
クーポラはクリーム色で周囲はブルー色で美しい。
