Hiking in Kiso Komagatake, 2013

We went to the Kiso area for trekking. It was amazing scenery and enjoyed a lot. Stayed one night in foot of the mountain, did one day trek and back to Tokyo with pretty late bus. It was hard but worth to do it.

We stayed in Komagane Premont Hotel and leave early morning to catch the bus to the ropeway station.

We will climb up to the top! Exciting.

I found nice flowers by the road to the bus stop.

We went to the Shirabidaira ropeway station by local bus, there are already waiting line and we had to wait for about 30 mins.

It is Senjojiki Cirque, I once visited before but it was rainy day and almost no view. It is nice today and could see beautiful view.

Beautiful view of mountains. Amazing. We could see Mt. Fuji in far.

We needed to go up this mountain!

The helicopter brought things to the mountain hut. A lot of works!

The shrine of the peak.

We did picnic at where was by the right side path from the peak. We had nice view from here and less people.

There is the camp site in flat area down from the peak. It would be interesting to camp, but we don't have any gear and love clean private toilettes...

This is a kind of my favorite object to take photos, a bit similar to moss. Nice green color, repeated pattern.

We came back to the Senjojiki Cirque.

We could see a Japanese serow from the bus. It was my first time to see it.
