北斎の寓居跡

He moved to Obuse from Edo, Tokyo at the age of 83 in 1842. Several times
he has visited there and left some nice paintings.

お蔵のような記念館でしたっけ？

記念館の展示、象の遠近法による図なんてのもありましたね。

On May we celebrate Boy's Day and put Koinobori for them. It is carp, and it means we pray for the boys of their vigorous lives.

お寺の天井絵、縁台にひっくり返って見た竜の目玉に睨まれました。山車も見事でした。
He left some paintings at this temple.

栗のお菓子工場の入り口.
Obuse is famous for sweets using the fruits of chestnut trees. This is the
factory of that.
