Kyoto(Kinkaku-ji, Heian-jingu, Kiyomizu-dera)
Kinkaku (Golden Pavillion) consists of three types of architecture. The 1st floor is the palace style, the 2nd floor is the style of samurai warrior style and the 3rd floor is the Zen temple style. Both the 2nd and 3rd floors are covered with gold-leaf on Japnese lacquer. The golden Chinese phoenix is on the roof.

Kinkaku-ji, Golden Pavilion is in the northern part of Kyoto. It was the villa of Shogun Ashikaga around 600 years ago.
We saw a beautiful pond named Kyoko-chi (Mirror Pond) with raindrops.

Heian Jingu(Imperial) Shrine

Heian Jingu Shrine was built as 1100th anniversary of capital movement from Nara to Kyoto. It was used for imperial banquets and other entertainment

A vermilion-colored building constructed in 1976. Total area 344 sq. meters

We burn sticks of incense and then wave the aromatic smoke over our bodies and heads for good health.
