Nagoya Castle

(April 17, 2005) Nagoya Castle
Built by Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1612 and used as a residence by the Owari Tokugawa family, this is truly the symbol of Nagoya.
In the Main Castle Tower, the life of the feudal lord in that era and the history of the two golden dolphins are exhibited.

A cute dog is our friend.

I called my friends for the cherry blossoms party in the bus back to the hotel. We went to the super market to get something to drink and eat. And the ladies enjoyed 100 yen shopping.
When we enjoyed the party, boys came to us. They were the students of Shinkawa elementary school (which we visited later) and my frinds taught THEM how to play drum.

Lots of people in Japan go to a park,hill or a field to see cherry blossoms. We take some drink and snacks with, enjoying a party ---drinking, and singing . It seems that it is a Japanese custom from a long long ago, since the Heian period.(A.D.9C-) We really love cherry blossoms
--- falling just in a week, mean something special to us. We might feel something beautiful in their short period of blossoms.
We knew you were too tired to join the cherry brossoms party. But we also knew fresh air and beautiful cherry blossoms gave you some enery.
