『札幌駅前』という名前がついていますが、札幌駅から徒歩で5分以上要します。ホテルの入り口直前まで札幌駅から地下道を通って行くことが出来るため、悪天候や強い日差しを避けながらアクセスすることが出来るのが、アクセス面でのせめての利点の一つでしょう。周辺のホテルと同様に、基本的に24時間開いており、ホテルの周辺にはコンビニもあるため、食料や日用品の調達は困らないでしょう。但しカフェやレストランはホテルから少し離れたところにあります（それでもアクセスに難があるほど遠いわけではありません）。
指定の客室へ入る、また客室フロアへアクセスするためのエレベーターを利用する際は、専用のカードキーを使用します。特にエレベーターは、出入り口且つチェックインフロアである1階のエレベーター前のセンサーにカードキーをかざさない限り、利用自体出来ません。客室フロアから1階へ降りる際には、カードキーは必要ありません。エレベーターは2基ありますが、やはり夏季を中心とした観光シーズンとなると宿泊客が多くなるため、エレベーターが利用しているフロアになかなか来ない、ということがしばしばあります。
ホテル全体は勿論、客室内も隅々まで清潔に保たれていますが、他のビジネスホテルと同様に、特に一人向けの部屋は広くありません。一方で建物の隅にある部屋は比較的広く、エレベーターホールに最も離れているもののゆったりと部屋を利用することが出来ます。
Although there is a part of the hotel's name "Sapporo Ekimae(in front of Sapporo Station)", it takes more than 5 minutes on foot from Sapporo Station. One of the advantages in terms of accessibility is that you can go through an underground passage from Sapporo Station right before the entrance of the hotel, avoiding bad weather and strong sunlight. As with other hotels in the area, the hotel is basically open 24 hours a day, and there are convenience stores in the vicinity of the hotel, so you'll have no trouble finding food and daily necessities. However, cafes and restaurants are located a short distance from the hotel (but not so far that access is difficult).
A specified card key is used to enter your rooms and to use elevators to access guest room floors. In particular, the elevators cannot be used unless the card key is held over the sensor in front of the elevator on the first floor, which is the entrance/exit and check-in floor. No card key is required to get down from the guest room floor to the first floor. There are two elevators, but because of the large number of guests during the tourist season, especially in the summer, the elevators are often late to come to the floor you are using.
The hotel as a whole, as well as the guest rooms, are kept clean in every corner, but like most business hotels, the rooms are not particularly spacious, especially for a single person. On the other hand, rooms in the corners of the building are relatively spacious, and although they are farthest away from the elevator hall, they are comfortable and spacious.
