米原駅から徒歩5分程度というアクセスのよいラーメン店ですが、観光客の利用はほとんど見られず、ほぼ近隣住民や近隣の企業で働く人の食事場所として利用されているように思います。とは言え排他的な雰囲気は全く無く、誰もが気軽に利用できるラーメン店だと思います。
豚骨スープをベースに、醬油や味噌で味付けされており、味はやや薄目でさっぱりとしている、といった印象です。味付けは勿論盛り付けも奇をてらったところが無く整っていますが、ガッツリ食べたい人からするとやや物足りなさを感じるかもしれません。小腹を満たす目的での利用に丁度いいかもしれません。
タイミングよく利用客がそれ程多くない時間帯に利用したからか、スタッフの接客対応も概ね良く、好感が持てました。

This ramen diner is conveniently located about a five-minute walk from Maibara Station. I saw very few tourists when I visited, and it seems to be used mainly by local residents and people working at nearby businesses. That said, there is nothing unwelcoming or exclusive about the atmosphere, and I think anyone can feel comfortable stopping in for a casual meal.
The ramen is based on a tonkotsu (pork-bone) broth, seasoned with options such as soy sauce or miso. Overall, I found the flavors relatively mild and light, with a clean finish rather than an especially rich or heavy taste.
Both the seasoning and presentation are straightforward and well put together, without anything particularly unconventional or elaborate. However, diners looking for a very hearty or intensely flavored bowl of ramen may find it a little underwhelming. On the other hand, it could be a good choice if you simply want a light meal or something to satisfy your hunger without feeling overly full.
Perhaps I was fortunate to visit at a relatively quiet time, but the staff were generally friendly and pleasant, leaving me with a positive impression.
