ケルトナー通りで教会に入りました。気づいたら「マルタ騎士団教会」。マルタ十字に気づくべきでした。マルタの痕跡がいっぱいでした。

Im Jahr 1806 widmete der Komtur Franz Graf von
Colloredo dieses Denkmal dem Großmeister Jean Parisot
de La Valette.

Dieser, 1494 geboren, war seit 1557 Oberhaupt des
Ordens und starb am 21. August 1568.
Im Sommer des Jahres 1565 hatte er die Insel Malta
mehr als drei Monate lang gegen die türkische Übermacht
verteidigt.

Das Monument zeigt die Festung La Valette auf Malta,
das Portrait des Großmeisters und zwei gefesselte
Türken.

Der Text spricht von Jean La Valette, Großmeister des
Ordens des HI. Johannes von Jerusalem, der in mehreren
Kämpfen gegen die Türken dem gefährdeten Europa in
schwerster Zeit zu Hilfe kam, 50 Schiffe kaperte, das
belagerte Malta befreite und die nach ihm benannte
Stadt stark befestigte, der den grimmigen Soliman mit
mehreren Siegen bezwang und zum Mehrer des Ordens
und Wahrer der Freiheit des christlichen Volkes wurde.

In 1806 Commander Franz Count de Colloredo dedicated this monument to Grand Master Jean Parisot de La Valette.

Born in 1494, he was head of the Order since 1557 and died on 21 August 1568.
In the summer of 1565, he had defended the island of Malta for more than three months against the Turkish supremacy.

The monument shows the fortress of La Valette in Malta, the portrait of the Grand Master and two captive Turks.

The text speaks of Jean La Valette, Grand Master of the Order of HI. John of Jerusalem, who in several battles against the Turks came to the aid of endangered Europe in the most difficult time, captured 50 ships, the
besieged Malta, and strongly fortified the city named after him, who defeated the grim Soliman with several victories and became the successor to the Order and protector of the freedom of the Christian people.
