1. Nevada Fall

The Merced River rushes through a canyon to the floor of the Valley in a series of two great waterfalls and about three and one-half miles of roaring, white crested cataracts. The first plunge of the river drops 594 feet over a sheer cliff to form one of the most spectacular falls in Yosemite, - Nevada Fall.

4. Half Dome

Half Dome, one of Yosemite's grandest rock formations, rises a vertical 4,892 ft. above the valley floor. Its crown is accessible in summer by a cable stairway.

2. Overhanging Rock, Glacier Point

From this rock, there is a sheer drop of over 3,000 feet, to the valley below. An excellent panorama of the valley and peaks of the High Sierra, may be viewed from this point.
