リビエラホテルに着いたらすぐ迎えが来た！セーフ！その車で今日はいよいよ一番泊まりたかった砂漠のホテルバブ・アル・シャムスへ向かいます。ホテルまで約1時間、シティをでてからわりとすぐ砂漠になったという印象でドバイの町自体はそんなに大きくないのかなと思いました。途中、今建設中、来年完成予定の世界一高いビルのところで運転手さんが説明してくれました。工事が遅れていて完成は少し延びるかもしれないとのことでした。砂漠に入ってあまりにたいくつなためなのか数箇所に大きな作り物がありました。うまく説明できないんですけどね。車からだったので写真も上手く撮れなくて。写真は世界一高いビル

When we arrived at the Riviera Hotel, the driver (pick-up staff) came. We made it! He took us to the desert hotel ‘Bab Al Shams’. It took about 1 hour from the city. We could see the building which will be the tallest building all over the world. It might be open next year but the driver said the construction have delayed the schedule. The photo is the future world tallest building.

ホテルは本当に砂漠の中に忽然と現れるといった感じでした。フロント前でちょっと待っていたら日本女性のスタッフがきてチェックイン。こんなところにも日本人スタッフいるんですね。彼女に案内されて、まず明日やる予定のスパへ行って予約。今日の夕食のレストランも予約。それからプールの場所を教えてもらって部屋へ。お〜！想像以上によい感じです！女性好み！細部までこだわって作っているのがわかります。では詳しくお部屋をご案内。これはベッド。広いです。

The hotel was suddenly appeared in the desert! We waited in front of the front desk, and the Japanese hotel staff (woman) handled our check in. She took me to the Spa that we wanted to have treatment next day and made the reservation, also made reservation for the dinner at the desert restaurant. She also took us to the pool and we went to our room. Oh! It’s REaaaaally NICE!!!!! Women gonna love these kind of room! I introduce about the room. This is bed, really wide!

お風呂です。カーテンなしでちょっと外に水分が出てしまうのが難点ですが、ろうそくだけでゆっくり浸かりたいという雰囲気あるお風呂です。左の茶色い陶器でシャンプー、リンス、ボディーシャンプー、ボディーローション等が隠れてます。石鹸と体を洗う物もありました。

The bath tub. No Curtain so it’s easy to get wet outside of the bath tub but I wanted to take bath with just the candle light it gonna be so ROMANTIC! You can see the brown earthenware, inside of those, you can find shampoo, conditioner, body shampoo and lotion. There are soap and body-wash thing, too.

湯沸しポット＆カップあり。紅茶やコーヒーも種類豊富。トランプもありました。

The pot & cups, a lot of kinds of tea and coffee, milk, sugar, Playing cards.

緑茶とカモミール（カミツレ）もありました。５星ホテルなんて泊まらないからいろいろあるのにびっくり！（笑）

Green tea and Camomille. It’s amazing! Because I usually stay at the youth hostel (laugh)

ちょっと休んでプールに行きましたが、さっきは連れてこられたので迷いました。場所を把握するまでにちょっと時間がかかった！プールの後、ホテルからちょっと離れた場所にあるレストランで夕食を予約していたのでシャワーを浴びて早速バール・ジュマンで買ったワンピを来て行きました。入り口で待っているとカートが来てそれに乗ってアルハ・ディーラ・デザート・レストラン（Al Hadheerah Desert Restaurant）まで行きます。写真はレストランと「ラクダさんバール・ジュマンで買ったワンピを着るの巻」です（笑）なかなか良い雰囲気の野外レストランです。食事はビュッフェスタイルで伝統的なアラブ料理。

After we swam at the pool, we were taking the shower and went to the restaurant which is located outside of the hotel. But when we tried to back to the room, we were lost! It was hard to understand the locations inside of the hotel. We took the cart at the entrance of the hotel. It took about 5 minutes, we arrived at the Al Hadheerah Desert Restaurant. The photo is the Camel who wore blue dress which was bought at the Bur Juman at the restaurant (Laugh): Very good atmosphere! Traditional Arabian meals were served with buffet style.

自分で運んでくる料理以外にパンプラスサラダとピクルスみたいのが（五皿）が運ばれてきます。水もボトルでくれる

The waiter brought breads and salads (5 dishes). Also, you can have one bottle of water.

デザート大盛り

Full of desserts in desert restaurant!

フルーツとデザート大盛り。アルコールはすごく高いです。お酒を飲まない国だからでしょうか？アルコール（カクテル）含めて一人ＡＥＤ398（14,726円）でした。

Full of desserts and fruits. Alcohol drinks are very expensive. Because this is Islamic country. I suppose.　Total fee is the AED398 (US$123,EUR88) including alcohol drink.

向こうに見えるのが舞台で音楽の演奏、（歌あり）、スカート踊り、ベリーダンスなどを見せてくれます。

You can see the stage here and playing music, dancing with skirt, belly dance at this stage.

隣にラクダや馬に乗ったり、水煙草、ヘナペインティングが出来るスペースあり。別途お金払う。そこにいたお馬さんたち。こっちの子カメラ目線♪

The next to the restaurant, you can ride the horse and the camel, try water cigarette, henna painting, but you have to pay extra.

クラブではなくホテル内のフロントから部屋に行く途中にありました。とても綺麗！

砂漠なのにあちこちにこうして水をたたえた場所があり、ライトアップされてとても綺麗。贅沢ですよね♪

This is desert hotel but there were many water spaces and light up at the night. Very beautiful and luxurious.
