First time Dubai, feel like celebrity -WAITING- trip　'the Gold souq (Market)'

再びBIG BUSに乗り、ホテルへ帰ろうとしたらなんとそれは終バスでワフィ・ショッピングモール WAFI CITYというモールまでしか行かないとの事(+_+)結局、今日このバスに乗ったのは２回だけ！！

せっかく降りたので、WAFIも見ようということになったが、散々買い物をした後だし、さっきのバールジュマンに比べたら閑散としていて見る気も失せた。シルクロードがテーマでそれに纏わる国のお店があったけど、なぜかシルクロードの中に日本が入っていた！私の中ではシルクロードって大陸の中だけのイメージだったんだけど(?_?)写真はバスから撮ったワフィ・ショッピングモール


We rode the Big Bus again and planned to go back to the hotel, but it was a last bus and the last stop was the Wafi Shopping Mall. We just used the Big Bus TWICE!! OH, MY GOD! Anyway, we got off at the Wafi and entered the mall. The event theme was the “Treasures of the Silk Road” and there were the shops from those countries but we’ve already bought a lot of things and tired of the shopping already. Also, there were a few people here compared to the Bur Juman, this place was not attractive for me. The explanations of the Silk Road include Japan. But I just wonder…I thought The Silk Road indicates only the road of the continent. The photo is Wafi Shopping Mall

そこからタクシーでホテルに帰る途中、運転手さんは感じがいい人で「ここがフローティングブリッジだよ」と教えてくれた。浮かんでいる橋という文字通り、橋が海の上に浮かんでいる！！日本じゃ、考えられない橋ですよね。

ホテルでちょっと休んでから夕食＆ゴールドスークヘ歩いて行ける距離だと思い、地図を見せてフロントで聞いたら「タクシーで」と言われ歩いて行けない距離なのかと思い、タクシーを捕まえてゴールドスークへ。

ゴールドのお店がいっぱいあって、「金のアメ横」といった感じ。まばゆいばかりに光っておりました♪お店がたくさんあって、呼び込みもかなりしつこいです。お店の中に入っても．．なので買うつもりのない人はお店選んだ方がいいかもしれませんね。すでにお店に誰かいるとか。私たちはネックレスを別々の店で購入。ドバイでは金は量り売りで安かったのでディスカウントもしないで買ってしまった！もしかしたらもっと安くなったかもね(+_+)友人が１８金と２０金(比べるとやはり２０金がいいですね♪)、長いのか短いのかで悩んでいて、お店のインド系お兄ちゃんが「短い」、「短い」と説明してくれるが「長い」のも「短い」のも両方「短い」と言ってるので直してあげて、キャラクターがなかなかおもしろいお兄ちゃんだったので「ありえない！」も教えてきた♪ディスカウントされたら大げさに「ありえな〜い！！」って言いなさいと教えてきた。ドバイのゴールドスークに行って「ありえな〜い！！」と言われた方ご一報ください。教えたのは私かもしれません♪

私は頼まれ物があり、それをいろいろ探し周ったが見つからなかったし、すでに２１時過ぎだったので疲れて、レストランを探す元気もなく、その日はホテルに帰って友人が持参したラーメンの夕食(@_@)最初の夜なのにねぇ。。私らしいと言えばらしいんだけど(^^;)>タクシーから見たら２４時間開いてるって聞いてたスーパーが閉まってる！日本に帰ってドバイに行って同じホテルに泊まってきた人に聞いたらゴールドスークまで歩いていけたし、このスーパーも裏の通りは開いてたらしい。普通はメイン通りの入り口が開いてますよね？写真はゴールドスークのお店。

We took taxi for going back to the hotel, and the driver was the nice person and
he told us this was the “Floating bridge”. Yes, It’s amazing, it’s floating!! We have a lot of rain in Japan, so we can’t make this kind of bridge!

We had a rest at the hotel, we planned to go to Gold souq (market) and restaurant for dinner. We thought we could go there on foot but the front staff said ‘by the taxi, then, we took taxi to go there.

There were many stores which sell Gold and those were glittered. The store staff was tried to pick the customers to there store so they use Japanese for us. 　They really want to sell gold so if you are not plan to buy it you should choose the store. We both bought the necklaces at the different store. They sell gold by weight. It was cheap. but I forgot about discount! When my friend bought the necklace at the store, she think about she would buy ‘long’ or ‘short’ and ’20 gold’ or ’18 gold’. The staff was young Indian (Most of the workers in Dubai are Indian.) was very funny and he used some Japanese but he made mistake. We say ‘Nagai’ for ‘Long’ and ‘Mijikai’ for ‘short but he said ‘Long’ & ‘Short’ both ‘Mijikai’ which means ‘short’. So, we taught him correct Japanese and also the word ‘Arienai’ which means ‘Impossible’. Recently, most Japanese use this word, especially the young people. So, I taught him use this word ’Arienai (impossible’ if they discount. I hope he can use this word for Japanese tourists maybe he’ll catch on with their mind.

I tried to look for the ring which my co-worker wants but unfortunately I couldn’t find it. We were so tired and we didn’t feel like looking for the restaurant, so, we back to the hotel by the taxi. When back to the hotel, we ate the cup needles which my friend brought. The first night dinner was cup needles (@_@) But this is usual for me, thought. The photo is the store of the Gold Souq.

この後、なぜか私にだみ声でニャーニャーないて何かを訴えていたスークの猫ちゃん。あいてない店の前でないてたので開けてもらいたかったのかなぁ？

The cat who (I might say ‘who’ instead of ‘which’!) was in Souq tried to say something to me..She or he sat in front of the store which was closed, so she or he wanted me to open it, might be..
