耶馬日田英彦山国定公園の緑豊かな広大な農地で育てたブタ『錦雲豚』の豚肉の販売、及びその豚肉をふんだんに活用したトンカツ・ステーキ・しゃぶしゃぶなどの料理を堪能できるレストランです。中津駅からやや距離があるため（それでも駅から徒歩で行くには困難、と言えるほどの距離ではありません）、このレストランの利用者はほぼ自家用車を利用します。
人気が高いレストランであり、昼食時間帯直前の11時くらいであれば予約なしでもすぐに入店し料理を注文することが出来ますが、12時以降になると特に休日は外に待ち行列が出来る程になります。駐車スペースは多めにあるため、駐車スペースに入ることすら出来ない程の大混雑になる機会はそれ程多くは無いと思います。
特にトンカツやステーキの肉は厚めに拵えられており、肉質は柔らかく脂っこさは少なく、さっぱりとしていながらもじわじわと口の中に広がる肉の旨味やほのかな甘みを堪能することが出来ます。トンカツの場合、タレよりも岩塩の方がより一層合っていると感じました。
テーブルや椅子など、店内の多くの調度品が木調で、照明もやや暗めに設定されているため落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出しており、ゆったりとした気持ちで食事をするにはピッタリだと思います。空いている時間帯に利用したからか、スタッフの接客にも余裕がありとても丁寧に対応してくれました。
中津市でのランチで迷った場合、お勧めしたいレストランの一つだと思います。

This restaurant specializes in serving dishes made with “Kinunton,” a premium brand of pork raised on lush, expansive farmland in the Yabakei-Hita-Hikosan Quasi-National Park. Guests can enjoy various pork-based meals such as thick-cut tonkatsu (pork cutlet), juicy steaks, and flavorful shabu-shabu hotpot.
While the restaurant is located a bit far from Nakatsu Station (it’s still within a reasonable distance from walking), so most visitors arrive by private car. There is ample parking available, and although the restaurant is popular and often gets crowded during peak lunch hours (especially after 12:00 PM on weekends), arriving around 11:00 AM usually allows you to be seated without a reservation.
The pork here is cut generously thick, yet remains incredibly tender and not overly fatty. The flavor gradually spreads in your mouth, offering a subtle sweetness and rich umami. For the tonkatsu, we found that it pairs better with rock salt than with sauce, as it enhances the natural taste of the meat.
The restaurant interior features a warm wooden decor and is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere perfect for a leisurely meal. During off-peak hours, the staff were particularly courteous and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.
If you're looking for a great lunch spot in Nakatsu, this is definitely one restaurant we would recommend.
