和食レストランを彷彿させる外装、木調の落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出す内装、給仕される料理の盛り付けに至るまで、どこにでもありそうな典型的なラーメン店だと思います。だからこそなのかもしれませんが、麺・スープ・具材に至るまで、とても丁寧に作られている、という印象です（それはラーメン以外の料理にも表れていると思います）。刺激の強い味付けは一切なく、全体的にまろやかでクセがなく、同時に香りも強すぎず程よい香しさがスープから漂います。給仕する料理へのこだわりを持ちつつも「誰もが気軽に且つ安心して食べられる料理」という感じで、だからこそかもしれませんが、京都を訪れる外国人観光客の利用が多く見られます。
特に休日のランチタイムは混雑します。店の前の歩道は狭く、祇園界隈は京都の中でも特に人の往来が多い場所でもあるので、列に並ぶ際は充分注意する必要があります。
スタッフの接客対応の質も概ね良好でした。給仕の速度も決して遅すぎず、注文から会計に至るまで丁寧に対応してくれました。

It's a typical ramen restaurant that could be found anywhere, from the exterior that reminds one of a Japanese restaurant, to the interior that creates a calm and relaxing woodsy atmosphere, and the appearance of the dishes. Perhaps that is why I have the impression that everything from the noodles to the soup to the ingredients is made with great care (and I think this is evident in dishes other than ramen as well). There are no harsh flavors at all, and the soup is generally mild and unctuous, and at the same time, the aroma is not too strong, but has just the right amount of fragrance. While being particular about the food they serve, it is "food that anyone can eat easily and safely," which may be why many foreign tourists visiting Kyoto use the restaurant.
It's especially crowded during lunch time on holidays. The sidewalk in front of the restaurant is narrow, and the Gion neighborhood is one of the busiest places in Kyoto, so you need to be very careful when waiting in line.
The quality of the staff's customer service was generally good. The speed of service was never too slow, and they were courteous and helpful from ordering to paying the bill.
