Very small Okinawan restaurant, typical but delicious Okinawan food abounds

ゆいれーるの旭橋に最も近い小さな食堂で、観光客向け、というより地域密着型の食堂という印象が強いです。そのため、連日のように常連さんが複数人で利用する光景をよく見ます。観光客の利用も見るものの、まばらではありますが、スタッフの接客応対は決して地元の人優先、というわけではありません。観光客でもきさくに話しかけてくれます（ただ、やや混雑している時間帯に利用したからか、少し素っ気ない対応、という印象がありましたが、料理の給仕や追加注文の際の対応は少し打ち解けた感じになります）。とは言え、1人では少し入りづらい印象を持つでしょう（数席ですがカウンター席はあります）。さらに小さな食堂であるため、全席数も20席程度です。大人数での利用は不向きだと思います。
給仕される料理の種類は豊富ですが、全てにおいて至って典型的な沖縄料理ばかりです。盛り付けや味付けも奇を衒ったところは何一つありませんが、逆に安心して沖縄料理を堪能できる、ということになります。
店は1階にあり、入口に段差があるものの、小型のスロープが設置されているため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用できます。一方で店内はやや狭いため、大きな荷物等はホテル等に置いて利用するといいかもしれません。

It's the small diner closest to the Asahi Bridge on the Yui Rail, and gives the impression of being more of a community-based diner than a tourist-oriented one. For this reason, it's common to see several regulars using the diner every day. Although tourists are also seen, they are sparse, but the staff does not give priority to locals in their customer service. The staff is friendly and willing to talk to tourists (although I had the impression that they were a bit curt, perhaps because I visited during a rather busy time of the day, but they seemed a bit more open when serving food or when I ordered more). Nevertheless, you may have the impression that it's a little difficult to enter the restaurant alone (there are a few seats at the counter). Furthermore, being a small diner, the total number of seats is only about 20. It's not suitable for large groups.
There is a wide variety of dishes served, but they are all very typical Okinawan dishes. There is nothing eccentric about the presentation or seasoning, but this means that you can enjoy Okinawan cuisine with peace of mind.
The diner is located on the first floor, and although there are steps at the entrance, a small ramp has been installed so that wheelchair users and people with disabilities can easily use the restaurant. On the other hand, the diner is small, so it may be a good idea to leave large luggage and other items at a hotel or the like.
