京都の桜の名所として知られますが、参道から門に至るまでの道のりは、露天で埋め尽くされ、只でさえそれ程広くないのに歩きづらくなり、折角の風情も台無しです。
雨の日、またはその翌日は、境内庭園の足元がぬかるみ、靴が汚れやすくなりますので要注意です。神社ならではの、桜と風情を楽しむならば、南側の鳥居から入り、拝殿まで進む、というコースをお勧めします。
Although this shrine is known as a famous spot of cherry blossom, the precincts are filled with street stalls in the season, your precious feelings will be ruined. On rainy days, a lot of mud can be made. It is not a place that is not easy to walk.
