Christmas Market in Sapporo, 2012

One of my favorite things related to seasons, is Christmas Market. I visited several places in Europe for this. Instead of Europe, I went to Sapporo this year because I could not take longer vacation.

It was everything covered with snow in Sapporo.

This christmas market was Munich style. Surely I went and saw it in Munich too!

It was not so big unfortunately but I could enjoy its atmosphere. Well, I cannot expect same as Munich.

There was a stall selling gluhwein (hot wine) with mug. I brought back a few mugs from Europe, each christmas market has its own mug for this.

These looked like a character from "Shawn the Sheep".

They would have been Santa Clause but looked like gnomes:D

In Europe, there were a lot of this kind of stalls, selling ornaments for christmas tree.

I went to Sapporo central wholesale market. It would have been cheaper than buying in Tokyo, but still expensive for me:P

There were illuminations for christmas at night.

It was very very cold but nice warm feeling with those illuminations.

Markets opened till night.

Much crowded than day.

Sausages with hot wine. This is the food of christmas market!
