A trip to Sapporo after business trip, 2010

I often had business trips in 2010, there were events every 2 months. I wanted to go to Sapporo, since I went there in high school trip almost 20 years ago. I enjoyed their atmosphere and food. I like Sapporo pretty much!

Sapporo TV tower. The road are wider than Tokyo, it is like Europe with trees alongside of the road.

It was strange weather, like typhoon. But the color of leaves were so brilliant. Beautiful yellow color.

Also red colors.

I walked to the former Hokkaido government office.

This is the former Hokkaido government office, was built first in 1871, with popular architecture style of USA at that time. But a few times of fire, the current building was built in 1911.

Nice with pretty garden.

At the gate of this office, there was a beautiful rich maple tree, color of yellow and red. I have never seen maple tree like that.

It is already inside the campus of Hokkaido University.

Hokkaido University is famous for their rows of populars. I expected to see the nice color of leaves, but they were already fallen... too late to visit.

Nice trees, good for Christmas!

I went to Hokkaido University, because I wanted to eat Gyu Tro Don（Rice with raw minced beef）. I went to the diner of Univerisity's co-op.

Gyu Tro Don (Rice with raw minced beef). It was not heavy at all, but a new taste, not at all smelly.

When I was high school student, we went to Yukijirushi Parlor, a kind of popular place at that time.

Its display was a bit old style.

This is one of the most famous tourist attraction here, Sapporo Clock Tower, built in 1868, the oldest building in Sapporo now.

It was only 4:22pm, but looked like almost night.

It is the christian church and built in 1904.

I went to Sapporo Beer Garden in early evening.

First, I ordered 3 kinds local beer set.

There was the Christmas tree in the Sapporo Factory, a mall.

I could not resist to buy ice at Ice Cream Factory, this is ラムネ（blue soda）and fruits taste.

I walked back to my accommodation tonight, Hotel Okura Sapporo. I cannot stay Hotel Okura Tokyo, because of so expensive, this Sapporo one was a bit old building, but clean nicely and enough space. Nice hotel.

I went to Susukino, famous for red-light area in Sapporo, like Shinjuku Kabuki cho.

I went to Ramen street.

Actually I did not remember which ramen restaurant I went, but I guess it might be the ramen from Tenpou.

I bought a sparkling wine and drunk at home alone. Relaxing.

A breakfast in the moinig.

I needed to work at the hotel close to Nakajima Park. It was quite big park also and not so much people in the morning of weekday, I enjoyed its calm atmosphere.

There was a nice old house. It is Hoheikan, built in 1880, as the hotel for the foreign guest.

It was nice trip overall.
