2014 順応していく北京の姿　adapting to modernity in Beijing

４日間の滞在で、自分の足で回った北京の街。
そこには、歩いたからこそ見えてくる新しい発見があった。
めまぐるしく変化する現代、北京の街も新旧バランスをとりつつ、確実に変化している。
ほんの少しかじっただけであるが、古きを守り現代の流れに順応する北京の街が面白い。

A hectic place, beijing a blend of modern and tradition, is changing.
A city protecting the past and adapting to modernity ,beijing is interesting.

旅の始まり。出迎えは、人、人、人。
圧巻であり、少し腰が引けてしまうが
やっぱり中国はこうでなくちゃ。
想像通りの中国だ。

一瞬、ここがどこの国なのか、わからなくなる。
北京で最も心休まる影山公園。
600年続く、紫禁城の裏には、こんなに素晴しく穏やかな公園がある。

where i am now? which country i am in?
here is the best place for chill out in Beijing
behind lasted 600 years history forbidden city, they have a superb peaceful park!

紫禁城
あまり期待していなかった大御所観光スポットだけど、ここは別格。
確かに素晴しい。
あーでもない、こーでもないと思いを馳せる場所には最適。
全てを包み込んでくれるような場所であり、北京を理解するにはここを外すことはできない。

not interested in famous tourist place and not much expected,
but here is extraordinary
definitely outstanding!
great for thinking about something , past, now, and future ,whatever
the place kindly accept everything for every body

中国の公園はこんなに整備されてていいの？と思うくらい気持ちがいい。

anyway so comfy!

ストローで吸うヨーグルト。
中国の食べ物は、正直あまり口に合わなかったが、これだけは順応できた。
街角のキヨスクみたいなところでは、ほぼ必ず置いてあり、市民の生活に溶け込んでいる一品。
爽やかでレトロなパッケージはぜひともグッドデザイン賞を差し上げたい。

少し路地に入ると、こんな風景。
店と道路は一体型で、小さいイスさえあれば、自由自在に即席テーブルに。
そして何より豪快かつ美味しそうに食べる地元の人のその姿が、一番の広告棟となり
客を呼び込むのだ。

walk in a little lane, locals lives their ordinaly life
if you have a tiny chair, it makes the road oped air restaurant immediately
they enjoy eating foods really well and dynamic way,
it works lively advrtisement and attract peoples attention

一転、
北欧のカフェかと勘違いするくらい、ハイソなカフェ。
日本でもなかなかない。
コーヒーの味も、音楽も、そこでくつろぐ人も、
そして空気さえ粋です。

can you believe here is cafe in Beijing not north europe?
high society cafe.
it is difficult to find even in tokyo,
the taste of coffee , music , people and even atmosphere in there is refined

ショッピングモールに入っていた、台湾系しゃぶしゃぶの店。
大賑わいの店内のカウンターに横並びし、個々に鍋があり、好きな具材を注文し、数分でサーブされ、それをもくもくと突く。
まさにこれは中華圏のファーストフード。
素晴しい応用だと思う。

中身はこんな風。
食べきれないくらいボリューミー。
残すことが美徳とされる中国ではあるけど、これは多すぎ。
北京では羊肉が主流だとか。

look at the detail
hard to believe it is a portion for one person
not eating up is a virtue in chinese culture though
obviously too much!

なんだか、ほっとする風景。
お揃いの制服、一列に並ぶ自転車は、街に溶け込む。
集団行動がしっくりくる。

街の至る所にこんな趣のある路地が。
タイムスリップしたような感覚に。
北京の灰色の空と乾いたグレーのレンガが程よく調和している。

開発が進むモダンチャイナ。super massive
全てにおいて巨大だが、ここにもデザインのエッセンスを忘れていない。

成長する中国
やはりマンパワーは侮れない。
中国カラーで統一された、作業員は何か格好いい。

今の北京はリノベーションブーム？
かつての軍事工場地帯を再開発して、化粧直しをしています。
完成度は、驚くほど高い。

そこの一角にあるミュージアムみたいなところ。
数々の試みがされており汎用性は高い。

何気ない配管でさえ、オシャレ。

宿も街に溶け込む姿で佇んでいる。
ここでもリノベパワー。

北京のホステルは世界最高レベルだと思う。
ソフト面のハード面もかなり整っている。
これが一番の驚き。

ホステルのルーフトップ。
ここの活用も素晴しい。
緑豊かで気持ちのいい風を全身で感じることができる。
眼下に広がる喧噪を嘘みたいに忘れされてくれる。

ホステルのすぐ下の通り。
平日にも関わらず、多くの人で賑わう。
古い建物をリノベーションして作った、カフェやショップが広がる。
外の体裁は保ちつつも、中身は刻々と変化し進化を遂げている。

Old fashioned houses were remodeled into cafes and shops.
Keep the exterior of the buildings but insede is never stop changing.

ホステルのコモンスペース
清潔で洗練されている。ここが中国であるとは予想し難いかもしれない。
オーナーは世界各地を旅行し、そこで得たことを取り入れているとのこと。
その努力は確実に反映されている。

Really clean and sophisticated place.
Hard to guess here is china at the first look.
The owner this hostel is travel around,and adopt what she gained there.
The excellence comes from her experiences and big effort.

車道と歩道そして自転車専用道路が完全に分離しているので安全。
また、電気自転車（原付と自転車の間の子みたいなもの）も
かなり前から親しまれているようで、市民の足となっている。
騒音はびっくりするくらい無いし、すごくエコ。

さすが自転車先進国中国。
レンタサイクルシステムが整っており、登録さえすれば、
だれでも気軽に利用できる。
整然と並べられた自転車はクール！

都市の文化の成熟度を図るには書店に足を運ぶとよくわかる。
本のセレクトのセンスは抜群で
キュレーションの完成度の高さはツタヤ以上。

北京オリンピックが残した功績。
ところどころに、こうした新しい器具が導入されたらしい。
早朝や夕方に、地元の老人がエクササイズ。
なんだか微笑しくもあり、新しいライフスタイルを作り上げる。

公園ではこういった高尚な趣味を持った方も。
中文の漢字はこの上なく達筆。

マイボトル、マイ茶は中国では必須？
お湯も出る給水スポットが市内に点在している。
これも優しいインフラだ。

人が集まるところに、
どこからともなく現れる、もの売り。
中国人の商売魂は本物だ。

夜の北京駅前。
これぞ、中国を象徴する風景。
大きな広場に数多の人が集まり、一目を気にせず、思い思いに時間を過ごす。
乱暴に言ってしまえば、やりたい放題。
でも、これもみんな受け入れる寛大さ。

それでこそ中国だ。
