お手軽な日帰りバスツアーにて河津桜を見てきました！以前、ドライブで近くまではいったことあったのですが、目的地として河津にきたのは初めてです。一足先に春を味わってきました！<br /><br />I went and saw Kawazu cherry blossom by the easy one-day bus trip. It was my first time to go to Kawazu for cherry blossom, I have just seen them from far away before, during driving trip. I could enjoy the early Spring!

I went and saw Kawazu cherry blossom by the easy one-day bus trip. It was my first time to go to Kawazu for cherry blossom, I have just seen them from far away before, during driving trip. I could enjoy the early Spring!

東名高速のサービスエリア（どこか忘れてしまいましたが静岡県内だと）で朝食を購入。伊豆への旅の気分を盛り上げるために、桜海老のおむすびを。初体験！ヘルシーだけど味わい深くおいしい！

I bought an sakura-shrimp (Pelagic shrimp) onigiri (rice ball) for raising my feeling to Izu area. It was very healthy but tasty too.
今年最初の桜です!!やっぱりキレイ、日本人は桜が大好きですよね！

It is the first Saura (cherry blossoms) for this year! Certainly, very beautiful! I think every Japanese likes Sakura!
河津桜は一般的な桜よりもピンク色が濃いのでとてもかわいらしい印象です。

Kawazu-zakura has stronger pink colour and gives us a pretty impression.
$桜まつりでは、桜色の甘酒が売っていました。しかも100円という安さ!!思わず3杯いただいてしまいました!!というか、鍋ごともらって帰りたかった(^^;<br /><br />I had found Amazake stall at Sakura Festival, this Amazake (hot sweet sake) was pink colour (ususally white) and only \100 for a cup. It was very cheap but still yummy so I took 3 drinks... but actually, it was not enough for me, I wish I could bring that pot to my home!!$

河津桜はその濃いピンク色と、一緒に咲いている菜の花の黄色との鮮やかなコントラストが有名ですよね。まさに、その風景がここにあります。ただし、ものすごい人出でしたが…

It was the typical and famous scenery for Kawazu-zakura with yellow flowers a kind of rapeseed, contrast of pink and yellow colour. A nice view, except too many people!!

足湯もありました。いまでは多くの温泉地でありますよね〜。混んでて入れませんでしたが…

There is "Ashiyu" (hot spring for foot), which we can find in most of hot spring spot, but it was too crowded to get in...
つるし雛が売ってました。これは伊豆稲取地区の伝統のものだそうです。とってもかわいかったのですが、高くて手が出ませんでした

There is "Tsurushi-bina" selling,which is one of regional Hina dool specialties Festival (Hinamatsuri). They were so pretty, but very expensive:((
さくらビールも売っていましたので、当然いただきました!!500円でこの大きさ1杯は、ベルギーのチェリービールに比べれば安いかも！おいしかったです

There is cherry beer, well, I had it surelly! I think it is more reasonable than belgian cherry beer! It was good taste!
川沿いにあることも魅力的ですね。もっと晴れていたらさらに色鮮やかな気がします。

Kawazu-zakura is located close to the river, so it must be surrounded by much more bright colur, if the weather is better.
桜祭りのすぐ近くを電車が通りました。線路の向こう側はすぐ海になってます

Very close to the Sakura festival, a few trains passed by, it was a kind of nice view. Over the railroad, the river flew into the Pacific Ocean.

伊豆が海の近くだからでしょうか、桜祭りで魚も売ってました。これは、恐ろしい”うつぼ”です〜

Because of the famous as a seaside area, there is a fish market in Sakura matsuri. It is a rare fish to see the usual market, "moray"!
河津のあと、浄蓮の滝に行きました。こちらも車で前は通ったことあったのですが、滝を実際に見るのは初めてでした。想像以上に美しい滝で、とても気に入りました！滝つぼの色がきれい。

Leaving Kawazu, we went and saw the Joren no taki (Joren Waterfall), I also drive by but never visited down to the waterfall. It was very beautiful more than I expected and I like it very much!
お水がきれいなんですね、こんもりとしたわさび田かありました。

It is the evidence of clear water. we can see so much Wasabi (Japanese horseradish) next to the waterfall.
