2006 World Cup in Germany

Football, the sport owns most fans in the world. In June, 2006, we had a chance to attend this great football event held in Germany. Thanks for the lucky lottery chance provided by the Master organization.

During these few days, we enjoyed the world cup atmosphere very much and also visted several cities in the west Germany. Of course, we did not miss any tasty Germany beer.^^

My 1st meal in Germany, but we ate Kebab somehow...The only reason to explain this was that we were all in a hurry to rush to the stadium to watch the footgame in that night(Japan vs. Brazil).

Waiting for the train to bring us to the stadium venue. Generally, trains in Germany are spacious, clean and comfortable.

Arrived in the tournament venue, 14:30 local time.

On the way to the stadium to watch the football game (Japan vs. Brazil). There were many policemen on the street; they checked our personal bags also prepared Germany flags to paste on visitors body. This police guy did very happily to paste flags on my cheeks....

On the way to the stadium. We saw many gootball fans wore various national team uniforms they support. The ball-adidas +TeamgeistTM- used for 2006 World Cup, can be seen everywhere in Germany.

After coming outside from the Koln train station, Koln Dom is nearby the left hand side.

This ice cream had special attraction to me. I told myself that I must have it anyhow.

I love German dishes. They serve big dishes, even desert. So when you try to eat here, remember not to order too many dishes in the beginning.
