Field trip to Kyoto station and Daitokuji temple

i went to Kyoto as a field trip from the architecture class i\'m taking right now. it was... very interesting to have a close look at the station, cuz i never did it before. i learnt how important to look at things from different viewpoints. that surely gives u broader viewpoint.

Kyoto Station... this is the main entrance. how small the sign is!!

huge staircase. i guess this is a symbol of kyoto station... u know how much it costed to build this building? i mean the whole station? this is what i was taught in class, but yeah it costed 1,300,000 US dollars.... one of the most expensive buildings on this planet!!

this is a good place for couples. NO ONE is there!! even though we were there for about 5 minutes, we didn\'t see anybody going through that place... if u wanna have a slow sweet time with ur bf/gf, this is a good place!

the east side of the station. it\'s so empty!!

so many people in that station, like ants! it\'s kinda scary... to see those black dots.

tsubaki! just so beautiful

japanese garden... it really eased my mind...

this is so japanese, dont u think?

outer wall of Daitokuji...? it looks cool, doesnt it?
